I Then pulled my weapon and did Kill one of them before I eventually ate the bullet. My main Issue is the individual who did mug me is Punisher who was a former SOS President that left on bad terms. He had not been in city for awhile until late last night were he had a conversation with my Don near townhall flexing that he PK'd a former member of SOS and was asking how he was doing.(Mind you this character is not his original SOS character which died". He then ended the convo with "I'm just going to mug one of your guys later". My don was confused why he would say that since it was a different character with no bad interactions against each other. My Don did in fact call over radio text last night that some guy is trying to mug one of us. I would also like to point out in the clip the two other individuals not wearing the red are 100% mugging chars with 0 RP incentives. I would like these individuals to be looked into. What server rule or PK rule was violated?: ■ Initiating a shootout or violent confrontation with Police can lead to a PK. Killing or attacking an Officer after initiating a violent confrontation leaves you PK active from officers for about 15 minutes. Generally we want people to not immediately go for the gun when dealing with Police, as a result if you escalate a situation to a shootout and lose you can be punished via PK as your character was killed. This does not apply if it is the Police that fired first or escalated to a shootout. This does not apply to players who hit officers with their fists (Unless they Murder them) This applies when a person shoots / stabs police for no reason or for a non valid reason (Traffic Ticket/insults/etc) and may also be subject to an RDM punishment should that apply This does not apply if the Officer initiates the gun fire or escalates the situation to violence. (Note: In the server the tazer is non violent as it cannot physically kill or damage the player.) After another player began shooting at me, I pulled a weapon to defend myself and shot at the other player. This other player was not a police officer, but there were other police officers in the area that saw this. They proceeded to shoot both the initial shooter as well as myself, even though I had been defending myself and did not initiate the gunfight. I also did not shoot at any police officers. If possible please provide video evidence or photo evidence if PK does not follow the guidelines: My character is in the construction outfit and glasses on the right. A lot of people have told me to apply, and many people have even just assumed that I'm a member of staff. Everyone has heard the classic line a million times that they've been around at times where there are 0 staff online, causing incidents to go unchecked if victims don't take the time to go to the forums. The event itself was very well put together, and the environment when I came out to fight was more electric than anything I've experienced in the city. Even in a High Command position, I still hire fresh citizens and try my best to show them around the city in the process (eventually handing them off to someone in a more suitable position to explain how the city works). I've done countless scenarios for people coming up, giving my best effort to make things seem as real as possible for them. Have any staff members recommended you? Someone RDMs and you are currently off-duty. How do you handle this?: I would get a clip of the situation, and make a report, just like anyone else. If no other staff are available in a timely manner, I'd likely just make a forums report and let it be handled from there. No staff below Super should use their power in situations they're involved in. You have seen a fellow staff member of higher or equal rank than you abusing fairly often, but never doing anything too noticeable. What do you do?: I would gather evidence as I see the abuse occur, recordings, screenshots, etc. After this I would hand off the evidence to a member of staff of higher rank and that has no RP affiliations with the offender (if possible), so they can handle the situation without bias. A member of your faction / friend of yours has a ticket made against them accusing them of RDM’ing, and minging. You know that this person rarely does this when you play with him. How do you proceed knowing this? Does it constitute possible bias?: I'd wait a considerable amount of time before taking the ticket, especially if there are other staff online that aren't as closely tied to the victim as I would be in this scenario. If no one takes the ticket in a timely manner, I'd treat the situation like any other and require undeniable evidence before taking any action whatsoever, even bringing the supposed offender to a sit. If possible, I'd also DM another staff member for their opinion on a situation before taking action, as the scenario would constitute as possible bias and I would want any situation I'm involved in to be clear of that. ---------------------------------------------------------

(If you're not involved in this situation please kindly refrain from posting on this thread) The rule you're referencing does exist however in this context it is not valid i will explain below. There are other instances where killing someone during a mugging will not result in a PK - Such as not giving the person reasonable time to react to your demands - Ordering them to use certain game functions they don't have to comply with or making unreasonable demands (Drop items/cash, hit f7, give me your f3, commit suicide, etc) This rule is specifically for when they are giving you orders. There is no situation in the server where whilst being mugged and being told to hit F7 Then Refusing to hit F7 and them killing you for refusing to use the game function would fall under a PK. If you had Ignored their command to click F7 And they shot you. then it would not have been a PK. In terms of the Targeting Accusation. when staff reach out to you. then you will be expected to provide that proof and this will help with your appeal. if this is indeed a Targeted instance you will most likely be Unpked and the Mugger will not. You died because you pulled out a gun and fought back whilst being held under FEARRP which can be seen here. FearRP = Valuing one's life in a realistic manner. Life Rules. 1. You must value your character’s life. This means that you naturally do not want your character to die. (FearRP) Breaking this can result in a PK at the Staff’s Discretion. FearRP Rules. 1. While under fearrp it's recommended you oblige by the commands of your captor, if you attempt to escape or pull out a weapon to fight back but are killed that would display a disregard for your own safety, a calculated risk you took which failed, resulting in your PK. (In some circumstances a PK does not apply, view pk rules for more information.) This means it is NOT a rule violation to break fearrp but if you are killed while breaking it there is a possible IC consequence of being PK'ed. TLDR: If they killed you for refusing it'd be invalid but because you shot them it's a valid death. Additionally if you had pulled a gun out on safety whilst they were surrounding you. you wouldn't have been under FearRP and would not have had to comply with Any orders or commands issued. I advised the officer making the arrest, I wanted everything waived and to sentence me do to the server reset about to happen as well as having outside arrangements. The officer continued to just drag on time. Approximately 1 minute before the reset I was finally able to get the officer back in the cell and advised him I would attempt to get back on before having to step away and was unable to do so. The officer was told multiple times though that i wanted no plee deal or lawyer and would just serve whatever time was give.

Hey, I’m the admin who PK’d you. Based on the clip, you attempted to retaliate after breaking FearRP when they tried to tie you up. According to the mugging map, the NPC is not able to see you from that position, so you would still be expected to comply with the mugging. I’ll send you the mugging map so you can refer to it in the future. You can also find it within the rules. Please make sure to check the map and rules before engaging in similar situations again.

+1 I have a soft spot for cartels due to my first faction in Diverge being DVN. When Cartels work they work really well. I think this app is definitely one of the better ones, and wish you all the best. PRO - I really enjoyed the backstory, was very well written, loved the formatting/font usage etc. - The video was a nice move, great to see. The interview one was a bit lengthy though. I'd of made it a bit snappier, maybe added some distortion/CRT effects over the top, either way awesome to see something out of the box. - Good play time. - Enjoyed the accents in the video, I hope you'll encourage more members to adopt it. - I enjoy the diverse nationality. Neutral - I'm not a big fan of the 'hidden' approach. I always see applications time and time again about 'moving in the shadows', 'professional businessmen' etc. I for once would love to see a faction application that is straight up 'we intend to dress like cartel members and just be violent for violence sake.' CON - Very light con. Whilst I enjoyed your food truck idea, I definitely think you could've given us at least another RP idea that is specifically cartel related. As well as your cigar lounge, I can see this very quickly becoming 'standing around security RP'. You could've written something up about having new hires move prop bricks from a boat back to HQ or something like that.

Hello, Don that was mentioned here. Can confirm that one of the muggers here randomly approached me last night, this one in particular was a former SoS HC at one point on a different char, I was the one that had him removed from the faction on bad terms. I kept the conversation casual and talked about racket event. At the end he blurted out that he was going to mug a SoS later and I called it in on radio with a brief description of him. I don't have the conversation clipped but logs might show it if looked into. Seems like blatant targeting from his end considering the bad blood Later we did learn that the group in question was mass mugging and it wouldn't surprise me if they are all mugging chars. All clips and information has been submitted to UA.

Your sister as you claim, initiated / was apart of a mugging, and was killed. Therefore, resulting in the PK of char. Goodluck with the appeal.

First of all it doesn't matter if you were on property because you had that gun before going into your property, I then waited around 5 minutes for you to come back because apparently you were ''in your head''. After that your friends said you timed out and that you were reconnecting. I waited a couple of more minutes until they said you were going to the gym and you were offline. Just too many excuses for just a single ID show.

Hey there, I approved this PK because you initiated fire next to and seemingly at police. The guy wasn't shooting at you on either clip, he was aiming for the other guy in the construction outfit. It appears like you opened fire after seeing him shoot a bullet in front of you at the package carrier, then after directly aimed your weapon at police who were also engaged, getting into a shooting match where you were outgunned.. Regardless of it you were trying to protect the package carrier, you did it directly next to several officers, firing in their direct. The other person, also made that mistake and gave a calculated risk to his main character and was PKed accordingly. If you had not equipped your gun and reacted. You'd have not been PKed. I will admit this a tricky situation with the event going on and expanding rules. While I may think this valid. It will be reviewed and decided by another staff member.
