    Ban appeal

Hey SK, I'm gonna give a quick run down and then pskyo will drop a full review : For starters, i wasn't the "puppet" to Krokie, he did give me advice as originally it was my first fail mug ticket that i was taking and I wanted to learn things. I'd like to keep this short and simply and say that : - Logs connect ALL of you together across several chars across several bank accounts - Logs prove that you did infact know both Alex Smith and the "popov" guy who you conviently forgot the name of in the sit of both of them unitl their names were mentioned to you. - Logs show items were dropped by you to Robin banks, (a civ char), who dropped to Alex Smith, who once pulled into a sit, immeditely knew what the sit was about. There was no "mastermind" behind this, and there was an investigation, after all every account got linked to each other.

  5. In-Game Name(s): Jerry 'Moob' Rizzuto (Main) Steam Name: SuleG2 Steam Profile Link: https://steamcommunity.com/profiles/76561198929556505 Steam ID: STEAM_0:1:484645388 Discord Username: sule1469 Age: 18 When did you first join the server: Technically about half a year ago, but it was only for 30 minutes. I *started* around 3 months ago Total playtime on our Servers (Do !time in-game): 2w 6d 10h 51 Time Zone: EST How much time can you realistically dedicate to moderating?: At a minium, 5-10 hours weekly. Have you read the rules?: Yes Do you have a working microphone?: Yes Do you acknowledge that you must meet the weekly minimum ticket quota of 20 tickets? (Unless you have posted a valid LOA): Yes Are you familiarized with SAM and/or Nutscript commands?: No, but I'm sure I'll be able to learn Do you acknowledge that lying on this application will result in immediate denial and blacklisting from staff?: Yes ------------------------------------------------- Long Answer Questions proceeded with an asterix require a response of 3 Sentences Minimum. What is your motivation/reason for applying?: I've been loving my time here at Diverge, with just half a month of playtime I've already met so many great people in this community that has welcomed me with open arms. I'm hopeful that me being a member of the staff team can allow me to not only meet more amazing people over time, but allow for me to provide good quality experiences and support not only to the regulars, but to newer players in the hopes that they too can enjoy this amazing community. Why should you be considered over other candidates?: I have a very open schedule, allowing me to be active on the server for a significant amount of time each day. My playtime also often extends into peak EU hours. While I may not have as much experience with the factions as some others, I believe I am a quick learner and can easily learn anything I'm currently unfamiliar with if needed. Do you have any previous staffing experience? (Please list where, what position and how long): Not in gmod so , N/A Have you been banned before on any of our servers? If so, why?: No Would you say that you are well known in our community, what's your reputation, what do other members think of you?: I do believe I have become slightly more known from my recent promotion to LT in Altoviti. While I cannot speak on everyone's opinion on me, I do believe I'm well liked by many. I've had mostly nothing but good experiences with many people, and even the very few bad experiences I've had have ultimately resulted in more good experiences in the end. What is your favorite moment on Diverge so far?: As chud as this sounds, late on my birthday, on the 9th, I had a party thrown in Napoli and around 20~ or so faces show up and ALL sing me happy birthday, the moment genuinely brought a tear to my eye. Have any staff members recommended you? If so, list their names: N/A ------------------------------------------------- Problem Solving Detail step by step exactly the actions you would take. Someone RDMs and you are currently off-duty. How do you handle this?: Switch over to a staff char (unless im actively busy in RP, in which i'd simply clip the situation and forward it in proper staff channels.) On my staff char, i'd question the indivudal they RDM'ed along with the person who was rdm'ed, and if needed, anyone else who witnessed the event. From there, making a decision on the situation such as handing out proper punishments. You have seen a fellow staff member of higher or equal rank than you abusing fairly often, but never doing anything too noticeable. What do you do?: I'd try to speak to the other staff member in question first, in the case that it's a simple mistake or something they're unaware of they're abusing, if it can be quickly solved by a conversation avoiding needing any escalation. Although, if the person in question is higher in rank too me, or equal too in rank and isn't willing to change / adjust what is needed, gathering evidence and then reporting it to higher ranking staff member to decide on the matter. A member of your faction / friend of yours has a ticket made against them accusing them of RDM’ing, and minging. You know that this person rarely does this when you play with him. How do you proceed knowing this? Does it constitute possible bias?: If it's someone I know to the point that they are a friend, or are a part of my faction. I would not engage in the ticket, and either forward it to another staff member or just avoid it entirely. Even if I don't believe I'd act biasedly in a ticket, it may not seem that way to others and in the interest of avoiding any confusion, arguments, or other issues. Avoidance would be the best scenario.
  6. Did YOU buy priority queue?
  7. I don't really think it'd make things toooo easy
  8. What does this suggestion add / change / etc : - Allow ammo to be stored in gun bags - Allow weapon kits to be stored in gun bags (These are literally just attachments there's no reason they can't already be stored) - Allow no limit of Secondary weapons to be stored in gun bags. (Pistols) - Allow a maximum of Two (2) primary weapons to be stored in gun bags (Shotguns, rifles, snipers, etc) - Gun bags will not show what is in them on the bank log while putting them in the ATM (picture below for reference) - Slightly raise the cost of gun bags to a reasonable price to be a good "exchange" with all of the new futured updates ($500 -> $1500) or whatever is deemed fit Has this been suggested before : Yes, several times though different variations and parts. (Velocity recently just posted his suggestion for the ammo part) What's different about this suggestion? : A lot in terms of im suggesting a lot more and actually providing a genuine essay on this. All differences etc will be listed below What are at least 2 pros of this suggestion? : Going in order of each suggestion top to bottom : 1. If attachments can be stored WITH the gun in the bag. I don't see why arguably another form of attachment (the ammo) can't be either. 2. I would argue weapon kits are just... attachments themselves. I understand its kind of like putting a bag in a bag as its a group of attachments. But i think its reasonable to say that weapon kits are still simply just attachments on their own and can be stored along side with OTHER attachments. 3 & 4. I understand the decision for this likely comes due to balancing. As realistically shoving like 50 guns into a bag would completely null the need for multiple stashes or taking the risk with storing it in bank accounts. But I'd argue with how "low valueish" handguns are , and with how small they are compared to the bag. The bag SHOULD allow for no limit of pistols / secondary weapons. And for point 4. I'd argue its a fair balance / reasonable thing to provide as. Some of the guns you'd put in there... are quite literally just the size of the bag itself. And with so much remaining space left. 5. Feel like this is self explanatory, unless the ATMs just happen to have some see through machine that can tell what's in the bag which... fair enough 6. Assuming any of these listed above are accepted, it'd be a rather good buff of sorts to gun bags, therefore justifying an increase in price. What are at least 2 cons of the suggestion? : 1. Dev time, naturally this goes with any major suggestion. A change like this would likely take a lot of time to properly implement. 2. I cannot think of any major cons it can have, outside of someone arguring that it defeats the purposes of stashes / banks, and some of the risk that comes with having to store weapons. Ill argue more below on this Why should this suggestion be accepted? : I do genuinely understand why suggestions 3-4 currently aren't how the gun bags work. It is a massive overhaul and for lots of people would probably free up several stashes / bank accounts even for storing guns, attachments, ammo, etc. I try my best to avoid resorting to "Quality of life" as an update, as some things are the way they are to prevent a single item or feature from being too powerful. But with everything that i've listed, I genuinely do not believe and I'd think a part of the community would too, that this wouldnt even be so much as a buff, making gun bags "overpowered", but even just making them more logical and actually useful. Even then my suggestions would also have a downside being that being CAUGHT with a gun bag that has more than a single weapon, would be genuinely devestating. Rather if its a mugging or an arrest. As you're either being robbed for 10'000s if not 100'000s in value of guns, or facing a genuine long sentence for each and every gun in that bag assuming your unlicensed / other factors. Please leave any criticism below! Thank you
  9. i genuinely dont have a problem with you outside i feel likeee yourrr maybeee a littleeeee toxic but yet again 90% of this community is so
  10. +1 would add RP (also, referring to the guys concern about mob meeting mobs, the visists are normally supervised lmao the feds would LOVE to hear you talk about placing another hit)
  11. What does this suggestion add / change / etc : - Increase the amount of usable processors a single person can have at a time to 2 OR : - allow an upgrade for the processor to be purchased and modified onto a regular processor to increase the amount of product that can be processed at once (stackable up to 3 max) Specifically, going to barge and requiring to purchase the first upgrade, costing a set price, then a 2nd one which would allow for a total of 3 product to be processed at once. This brings the balance of only 1 processor is allowed at a time. AND losing it in any means would be costly. Processing 3 items at once would still take 5 minutes, but for ALL 3 instead of 5 minutes each 1. Has this been suggested before : Countless time but most recently linked below (and the same post inspiring me to create this one) What's different about this suggestion? : I felt like most likely the one mentioned above will likely be denied as it'll likely be considered "to op" allowing 5 at a time. Even with the nerfs / debufs they potentially listed. I figured this one would be much "fairer" and more likely to go somewhere. Though, still a 10/10 suggestion. What are at least 2 pros of this suggestion? : 1. I believe a large reason some people (especially people who tend to play for long times), people get burnt out as you can make a trade for dozens of bricks / barrels and each one takes 5 minutes. Resulting in HOURS of just waiting and having to monitor / be on top of the processing. I do believe the suggestion will help ease burn out, as the game becomes slightllyyyy less grindy. 2. I know this goes into the previously mentioned one but, it is a genuine quality of life update. And it benefits everyone involved. Less time spent waiting around for processing. Allows for MORE time of people roaming the streets, and engaging in meaningful RP. What are at least 2 cons of the suggestion? : 1. Dev time, naturally this goes with any major suggestion. A change like this would likely take a lot of time to properly implement. 2. It being "too op" to a degree, though below i'll counterclaim that. Why should this suggestion be accepted? : Going through the pros & cons, along with many previously suggested suggestions : In conclusion, I think a fair amount of the community dislikes the grindy part of the server, and while I understand its there to prevent people from just making a fortune overnight. I do believe my suggestion can be a "middle ground" in easing out making too much while also helping reduce the grind factor overall. The upgrades to the processor is mostly what im focused on as it'll be a better benefit then just allowing a secondary or third processor. As it'll be more expensive than just buying more and also will have a great risk to losing one as you'll be down a signifcantly more amount of money. Thank you for reading
  12. think i forgot to mention - they SHOULD be able to get in passenger seats, just not drive.
