Hey there, I approved this PK because you initiated fire next to and seemingly at police. The guy wasn't shooting at you on either clip, he was aiming for the other guy in the construction outfit. It appears like you opened fire after seeing him shoot a bullet in front of you at the package carrier, then after directly aimed your weapon at police who were also engaged, getting into a shooting match where you were outgunned.. Regardless of it you were trying to protect the package carrier, you did it directly next to several officers, firing in their direct. The other person, also made that mistake and gave a calculated risk to his main character and was PKed accordingly. If you had not equipped your gun and reacted. You'd have not been PKed. I will admit this a tricky situation with the event going on and expanding rules. While I may think this valid. It will be reviewed and decided by another staff member.

Because a small percentage of people are now going to see this thread and the 'funni' charge and see it as a challenge. Which I also suspect you knew when you posted it.

There are a few charges that don't typically have massive gameplay implication and are seldom used. State terrorism, resisting an INS offical etc. It's on there because whoever created the penal code added it. A criminal code would have such a crime and as an exercise in world building, it makes sense. It also being a roleplay server, there may be a reason in a story or event for police to do such a charge without any ERP actually occurring. To state the obvious, no you cannot ERP on this server, there is no special circumstances where it would be permitted. Doing a cringe /me to try to get this charge is likely to get you in trouble with staff and would be fail-rp/powergame ( making it invalid ) .

The main issue here is the ooc beef surrounding involving Kosher members. There's enough evidence that this heavily influenced the decision, even giving the contract specifically to Kosher so they could kill Logic. While I understand Logic wasn't a saint in this situation, I think this boiled down to beef and dislike which was pushed IC with 'faction relations' used to justify it. The ooc beef continued after this PK, with borderline harassment involving personal pictures and information. ( Keep is civil gentlemen. ) Further, Logic was infact in a non diverge VC ( bad on everyones part. ) with both Askull and Tables while streaming his game. Askull gave the orders while in that same VC, gave the callouts while Logic streamed, regardless of the legitimacy of the callouts. This muddies the waters substantially. ( Keep yourself muted and gagged on discord if you're part of a hit. ) For all of these reason I'm going to accept this appeal, void any knowledge of the Colombo faction and place the character as a civilian. For everyone involved, don't push this OOC beef further or their will be consequences. Your appeal has been reviewed and accepted. Your character has been reinstated and can be used again.

Hey there I was the PKing staff. You were set offline pk active a few days ago. The reasons given were not fulfilling an internal faction agreement, lying to the faction and not paying faction dues. The evidence given for suspected cheats I'm not going to get into and is not directly part of your character appeal. Cheating is wrong and will get you banned, If you have evidence, please file a player report and it will be looked into. This is not the proper forum to explore such a sensitive issue and it will not be commented on in a character appeal.

I typically type my responses, in this instance I found the log: "4Lights: Don't spawn plates on peoples heads, if you do, next time you'll lose prop flags". I opted to give you a note for that instance, where I believed you used your flags to bait RDM. I think I had been generous, given that you had 2 previous prop notes, I did not believe you needed a 4th. So, I had left a note saying to remove on next prop abuse. Your props were removed by Ender on the next of such occasion, I apologise if this was not clear to you. It should be said on any occasion of prop abuse, your flags can be removed. We don't have to give warnings, although typically we do. This is again, the 4th occasion of prop abuse since May. If you'd still like to pursue this appeal, please given substance to the actual situation that led to your appeal, instead of the prior one that I was involved in. I am not the scapegoat. Enders took your flags, you are appealing that incident, so please give comment for that situation instead of focusing on the prior one. You spawned plates in their business? For what reason? Give reasons why you might need pet flags for RP reasons; like spawning in your factions business or your food trucks etc.

I have seen said clip. You shot a cop and killed a cop infront of their business ( which also appeared to be RDM ), you also killed that cop twice witnessed by the faction that PKed you. They PKed you for bringing heat. ( repeated erratic behavior ) You didn't order from their racket, you received drugs from the faction and processed them. Which was directly related to your faction, therefor you are not considered a 'door man' with no knowledge of the faction. You showed a gross negligence to your character's life here, and although we would have liked them to give more warning and have spoken to you. I believe this reaches the threshold for an accepted PK. This appeal will be denied. Your appeal has been reviewed and denied. We have determined this PK to be reasonable and/or justified. Watching the PK clip. You are only definitively under FEAR RP at the 6 second mark on the clip, they attempted to initiate from behind and therefor the FEAR RP isn't valid until the moment you turned around. They shoot you at the 9 second mark. They gave you 3 seconds to respond under FEAR RP. They killed you quickly because of the cop nearby. they didn't give enough time to comply, the TEC 9 only appears in your hand after they started shooting you ( for a split second at the 9 second mark of the pking clip. ) Therefore this will be accepted. Your appeal has been reviewed and accepted. Your character has been reinstated and can be used again.

As stated, they can lie to you. The trust wasn't there. They saw you playing when you were 'retired' and you tried to use that as a shield, unfortunately it is insufficient. You were playing again on the character, you needed to make arrangements with the organized crime family you were in. 'Retirement' in the mafia can mean a lot of things.
