There is no excuse for these actions, seeing as I contributed nothing to the server, and all I did was take. I had no intention of roleplaying and only mugged at the time. I am writing this because I want to continue being a member of the community and show you how I have matured. I am taking full responsibility, like I should, and admitting what I've done. I fully understand why I was banned and apologize. That being said, I have had time to reflect, and honestly, looking back at the memories I've made, it just makes me miss it more and more, wishing I had more to reflect on. If given another chance, I wish to show you guys that I can roleplay and not just be a nuisance or bug needing to be squashed. I had made Rank(Officer), and I was previously high command in a faction. I know what reputation the faction had and why it looks so bad when looking and my priors, but this is not a dispute, this is an apology. Regardless we can find some creative events to host at it. Criminal RP - Private things like meetings, the hiring process, etc. will be fun for those coming in. Each member that joins the faction will go through a set of tests and missions in order to gain the trust of the high command. It could be as small as moving some drugs, pulling security for a meeting, or killing someone for the family. Ideally I would like it to take around 3 weeks to a month of being a Hang-around gaining trust to have the chance to become an Associate. Made members will be extremely rare if any get promoted compared to the previous factions. Organization Backstory (Min. of 250+ Words & any images): It All Comes Full Circle: Johnny's predecessors ran Harrison Corp. & Harrison Crime Family, He ran Davis Boys, and now he'd look to run it back one more time. Preface - In 1987-1988 in Southside, New York, Johnny Harrison Jr. ran a street gang turned organized crew labeled the Davis Boys. Members would commonly wear dark green "Magnetics" caps. They were known for not being a fan of the Italians or the way they would strongarm ethnic groups, they believed strongly in a groups' independence, and prided themselves on charging the least amount of kickups. After a strong year of moving drugs, acquiring a Russian heavy arms connect and moving guns, and having almost 300 members on the books at its peak, the leadership unanimously voted to retire. Things crumbled quickly after the leadership all caught flights going in different directions, but the memory of the group still lives on. May, 1989 - Johnny would look back at the legacy of Davis Boys and let it rest. It was time to bring it back to where it all started. Calls were made to places all across the United States. All of the heavy hitters of the Davis Boys would reconnect and meet in Miami after years of radio silence. As they sat around a table they talked of what they had been up to, but also what they wanted to accomplish if they were to do what they planned on doing. Eventually it was clear, they were going to fly back into New York and empty out those retirement accounts. Johnny would contact his Russian friend named *REDACTED*. He never left New York with the rest of the group when they cashed out and retired. He kept up with the assets Johnny had left behind. Among the random things he stored, there would be enough heavy weapons to arm a small country. DP27s, PPSHs, Skorpions, AKs, etc. The keys to the warehouse they were stored would be passed back to him upon his return. In the same warehouse a few luxury cars and a lot of Dodge Monacos would be left with tarps covering them. Johnny would take the tarp off a purple Rolls Royce and turn the key. It would sputter then start and he would drive around the city to see what had changed since he left. He would shed a tear as he drove past where World Corp. used to stand tall. He would wonder where it went and think of all of the souls it harvested. After driving a lap or two around the city he would stop in at a restaurant with the rest of the group and grab some food. Johnny would inform the others to lay low and take the coming weeks easy while he assessed what the current state of the city was. Many of those who Harrison knew would be MIA so connections would have to start over from scratch. The world of New York politics is what makes or breaks you as a up and coming crew. In the following days Harrison would try to reconnect with a familiar face and get caught up on what has happened in the time he and his crew has been away. Although funding and guns were already secured, it wouldn't make the come up much easier. The heavy lifting would come from who you know not what you have. The week would be booked with meetings and it would mark the beginning of the group's return to the city.

The fishing system we have is old, and it's one of the ways to make small income, but I do want a new revamped fish system. Maybe different bait and better fishing gear. It's like the new marijuana system. If you use the better bait and fishing gear, the outcome of catching expensive fish is rewarding. Still, a chance of getting something no-value or items. Maybe make it a challenge to reel in rewarding fish items. The system we have is not as rewarding. Also add fish vendor further away from the docks to receive a bigger monetary reward. This is just my idea. If this isn't important now, then I wanted to throw my idea. The in-game economy has inflated, and the fish prices are somewhat still stagnate.

I believe I should be unban because what I was ban for was a first offense. Now obviously what I did I should not have and lots of it is just common sense (if you don't to this then you wont get ban). I am going to start off by saying what lead up to the ban and then why I should be unban. First off, when I was ban I was ban for Item transferring (there is a script to prevent it). Me and a long time friend and ooc family member wanted to test out the new PK script. He texted me one day and asked if I wanted to PK one of my old characters, i said why not because I was not going to use it anymore, and why not have a good rp with it. So what we did was I mugged one of their chars in the crew so then they would have a reason and they could get a good clip for an edit or YouTube video (not really sure what it was for either YouTube or something else all I know is it was being clipped for something). So then once everything happened and the guy I mugged got set free, I went to drop the stuff I took out of the guys pockets and dropped it, once they were going with staff to get me PK active I went on another char and grabbed it. Not sure what I was thinking, I never Item transferred on this server nor even had the idea of item transferring/supported the idea, but for some reason on this day I clearly was not using any commonsense, especially because all the stories of the Permanent Bans and stuff due to people item transferring. I do want to mention that I did not actually item transfer but I did attempt it. During this time I was definitely bored and getting tired of many of the players and I just let out, and was being and idiot. If im correct I was also ban for meta-game which I do not recall doing but If they put it on the reasoning then it must of happened. Now onto the reason why I think I should be unbanned, I think I should be unbanned because while yes I do have some extensive POs, they are not for what I was ban for. I am also thinking about a new thing that I have not seen in the server which is the ZTP/1SP. The Zero Tolerance Policy and/or the 1Strike Policy is when staff and the person that the policy is being set for would agree the date that it ends and during the time the player has to revive and show the staff that being unbanned was not a bad decision and that they are worthy of what they did. I think this will allow staff to see if whom they unabnned is worthy of role-playing and being in the community. This ZTP/1SP is definitly something that staff should take into consideration and use on future bans, this will allow players opportunity to prove themselves to staff and for staff to not waste their time unbanning people, while on a ZTP/1SP players will be pressured to try their best and have good rp as well as not break any rules, and if any rules are broken then staff can instantly ban them. Usually the punishment is a permanent-ban thats not appealable if anything goes against the 1SP/ZTP. I think that this is a good idea and staff should start using it. If I get unbanned I will like to try out this ZTP/1SP and prove to staff that I should be allowed in the community. I completely understand what I did wrong and I hope that staff can read this and take my 1 Strike Policy into idea. I do fully acknowledge what I did wrong and I do believe that this was a big mistake that should not have happened. Missions A set of civilian and criminal missions that (Separate NPCs): Civilian Missions: Designed for new players, these missions introduce key locations (Clothing Store, Hardware Store, Oil NPC, Ghetto, ect.) with low-stake tasks that help with map navigation and basic mechanics and minimal rewards. Criminal Missions: High Risk, repeatable missions with cooldowns that are locked to members in criminal factions, offering cash, clothing items, or cheap weapons. These can be an alternative source for making money instead of drug production, but earn less money. Cooldowns: All missions could have a 24 hour cooldown, or longer depending on the mission type and rewards. These missions can take inspiration from early 2000s games such as GTA: Vice City and Simpsons: Hit n Run - simple missions that can increase immersion and give players new experiences within the server and give more methods of making money outside of drug production and selling (just not as much), along with being able to obtain cheap weapons. Some Basic Civilian Mission Ideas (Mission NPC located at City Hall): 1. Introduction Part 1 Talking to the NPC will direct plays to key locations around the map, for example: Checkpoint 1: Visit the Clothing Store Checkpoint 2: Visit the Electronics Store Checkpoint 3: Visit the Hardware Store Checkpoint 4: Visit Town Hall Checkpoint 5: Visit the Expensive Clothing Store Checkpoint 6: Visit the Police Department Completing this mission will reward players with $1500 cash (which they can use towards the next mission). 2. Introduction Part 2 Talking to the NPC will direct plays to City Hall to purchase an ATM with a checkpoint at the reception desk and then after purchasing an ATM account using the rewards from the last mission, it will put a checkpoint to the ATM in townhall for new players to get familiar with. Completing this mission will reward players with $500 cash (leaving them with $1000 for clothes / food). After these 2 missions, new players should be more familiar with the key locations around the map, and will have an ATM account along with $1,000 in cash before they start their criminal life. This can be helpful for factions hiring, as they can have white shirts complete these tasks instead of repeatedly showing new players themself. Some Basic Criminal Mission Ideas (Mission NPC located at they alley in Chinatown or behind apartments next to Nightclub): 1. Car Heist Talking to the NPC will direct you to a specific location on the map where a sports car has spawned (randomised between multiple set locations), once you get into the car you will have to drive it to a checkpoint before a timer ends, with the checkpoint being indicated as a "chop shop". Failing the mission (not delivering it to the checkpoint in time) will enable the cooldown on the mission and no rewards will be received. Completing the mission will reward players with $5000 cash. 2. Gun Run Talking to an NPC will direct you to a delivery van (a truckload of illegal firearms that need to be delivered to several locations). The cops get wind of the shipment, triggering a chase. The police will receive a notification matching the vans description and will be advised to chase and ram the vehicle. If the van makes it to all the locations/checkpoints before the timer runs out the person will be rewarded with $1,000 + a pistol with a removed serial number (weapon that fell out of the crate during the pursuit) and a cooldown on the mission will be added. If the van does not make it to all locations/checkpoints before the timer runs out the person will receive no reward and a cooldown on the mission will be added. 3. Steal the Package Talking to an NPC will direct you to the parking lot in tunnels, a handful of armed NPCs will spawn and you will be directed to kill the NPCs and take the package they're protecting and deliver it to another location. Dying to the NPCs will trigger a cooldown on the mission and you will receive no rewards. Killing the NPCs and successfully delivering the package to the location will reward the players with $2,500. What server rule or PK rule was violated?: One of my faction members bought two random people into the Coffee shop where he then tried to tie them up. He was killed in the process. He then returns to the Coffee shop RIGHT AFTER (Breaking NLR) when he called for backup on radio. I arrived not knowing that any of this happened before hand. He then tells me "There are 2 people in our basement" but doesn't explain what happened. The two people were let out of the basement and into the main area of the Coffee Shop. I asked why he was down there in the first place since it is completely off-limits to the public. After trying to get an answer of how he got down there he pulls his weapon out. Me and a lot of crew members retaliated by also drawing our guns only after the stranger drew his out first. We all pointed our guns at him demanding to put his weapon away when he then fired the first and only shots killing everyone in the Cafe. This was in no way a "mugging". The First guy was warned for NLR due to the event. No faction members should have been called over radio. Admins claimed it was a PK due to me drawing my weapon, but as seen in the following clip my weapon was only drawn AFTER the individual drew theirs out first. Admins were also about to completely drop the PK ticket due to the fact that the guy that called for backup broke NLR numerous times beforehand but instead told me to just appeal it. What is your motivation/reason for applying?: My primary motivations for this application are to become a Gamemaster, become more involved with the community, and to help out when I can. I have some free time as of late, and have a lot of nostalgia for playing Garry's Mod. It is definitely a big hobby of mine (clearly), and I want to get back into it. I used to host events and remember having fun while doing so, it was rewarding to create events for players and also enjoyable to plan them. I know that it can be frustrating waiting for assistance when making tickets, and I know I would be able to help out efficiently. Even though my time commitments aren't as great as they have been in the past, I know I would be able to make an impact in the staff team in regards to tickets. In conclusion, I want to get more involved in the community and help out. I will expand on this by providing the clip I took of the situation. I have a full 5 minute clip of me not interacting with police until the end of it. I was vdm'd by some guy in a brown car. I find him a few minutes later and chase him, he plows into a police truck, knocking a cop on the ground. I did NOT notice this, and backed up to chase the rule breaker. In the process I ran over the cop and he got stuck inside of my car, draining the HP of the car and blowing it up, resulting in me dying and losing my gun. I was not attacking the police, in fact I was attempting to do the opposite, which was to stop this guy from vdm-ing any more people. I know it's not my job to do that, nor should I have. My intention was not to kill/attack any officer, I just wanted the guy who had killed multiple people (including an attempt on my life) with his car to stop. When you have access to a factions drug racket you are a liability and locked in to your responsibilities (Kickups), and failure to pay them can result in your death.

I was having fun with a group of my friends and said officer chose to come over randomly and begin to attempt an arrest. I fought back and got shot down and I want to apologize. It was in the moment and if my character gets granted back, I promise not to resist an arrest rp again. It wasn't the right move and it's on me.

This is a valid PK. You shot at police and died. Obviously the guy would be confused to have killed the same person twice, so the "Again" isn't a problem. It's nit picking.

1. Allow the police, rank locked. To sell select equipped firearms ( on your back items ) to criminals as single use weapons ( too hot to store ). 2. Create a command that police can use to check the serial of anyone who has these weapons on their back. The serial can be checked in the police computer, to see the officer who the gun is requisitioned out to. 3. Allow police to set up busts using this mechanic. As to make it untrustworthy and promote having a corrupt guy on the inside. - If you have an alt in a faction, the command doesn't run.

There were a lot of ways you could have handled this situation; in my eyes, you handled it in the worst way possible. Time after time, you made bad decisions after bad decisions with the complete knowledge of what you were doing. I dont know why you are using the excuse of lost items between multiple characters, even in your apology, you are lying. There are countless examples of people who created factions without #1 leaching off a current faction and #2 breaking half the rule book to accomplish it. At the end of the day, this is a game, and I have nothing against you, but if you played by the rules like everyone else, you would be able to create a faction and you wouldn't be banned right now. There is not a single doubt in my mind that you regret what you did, just the fact that you got caught. Staff have everything they needed to make the decision, and I think 4lights did a perfect job on all accounts. It was clear from day 1 that you intended to circumvent the rules and the RP surrounding my faction to make yourself and your faction have an upper hand. Unfortunately, everyone you convinced to go with you has been PKed and banned because of what YOU wanted. I offered advice and guidance, and instead, you tried to maliciously hurt my faction. Again, I say you could have handled this situation a lot better; instead, you did the opposite and did what caused you to be banned and PKed. I don't think you should have a reduction of a ban, nor should any of your characters that are involved be unPKed. You need to learn true leadership and how to follow rules, not try and cheat the system so it benefits you. I hope you learned from this situation and maybe when you come back, you will use this as a learning experience.

Your friend kinda screwed you over when he was giving me a command stating "Stand Still for me" and tried to tie me up while you were pointing your gun at me. Also in your other friend's clip ( the one you linked) and my clip you can see everything in your faction pointing guns at me locking me and my friend in your establishment AND BEFORE YOU SAY THATS NOT TRUE AND GIVE ME FALSE FORUMS REACTIONS LIKE BIG BABIES YOU stated in my clip to "keep that door locked" at 12 seconds in the clip. You and your buddies kept the door locked trapping me and my friend inside I then take my gun out and put it on safety right after I pulled it out looking at a wall. In the mugging rules you can read how to initiate a mugging which I will post at the bottom of my reply. I would also like to state in every clip you can see everyone wearing a mask at the bottom of the imitating a mugging holding someone at gunpoint while wearing a mask is a valid indication to the victim.
