Now that prices for drugs and oil change every so often, I think it would be a good idea to add some sort of a button you could press in the Drug/Oil NPC that will tell you how much a baggie or barrel is selling for, so that you know when to start selling your stock.5 points

Fun RP heavy way to let people park their cars for longer WITHOUT destroying the server with lag :D TLDR: Parking meter system like the one NYC has IRL you get a pass, use it on your car, it takes more time to despawn I saw someone suggest to remove car despawn timers, but as someone who remembers when cars had to ocasionally be disabled entirely due to lag, I disagree with this, but's still annoying to have your car despawn every 2 minutes, especially if you're someone who likes to sit around and do stuff. But since I've been to NYC I thought of these old ticket systems (Model from GTA Vice City) basically the idea is these would be on the map, you'd go up to one and use money to buy a ticket, then use that on your car (like a vehicle repair kit) and it would take more time to despawn. Pros: Fixes the annoying parts of car despawning Adds a cool RP feature that isn't too obtrusive "Let me put some money on the meter" is something I've heard a lot in NYC If done properly shouldn't horribly increase server lag, but provide a great deal of convenience for players and give them something to spend money on Something new for NYC workers to fix? I don't think that matters too much Cons: Dev time, especially if you wanted to make it in a way that incentives keeping server lag down by making tickets more expensive when the playercount/car count is high or something like that, it's not too bad, i went on a journey looking for this model and for pictures of the actual tickets so at the very least that part is done. I tried to see if parking meters already existed on the map but it's protected by some program and made noises at me, so if they do this idea could just use them. You'd probably need to make a menu, just with the time you want to buy on the meter, with more money for more time. Potential to cause server lag by cars just sitting around, this could be offset easily, either disable meters when there's a lot of cars, or make them much more expensive. Disabling them sounds much easier, I should have thought of that from the beginning I could say so much more about this idea but the inside of my head is getting away from me a bit, i want to talk about dynamic pricing or the specific font on the tickets, or the specifics of how different times would be priced to discourage people from leaving cars around forever, or how they would be placed around the map but I am going to post the suggestion now and people will think about it and tell me what they think about it and that will be great. Real parking meter pass/ticket (it's confusing because the penalty for not having one is also called a ticket) this could be a MODEL/SPRITE :D :D :D :D :D4 points

Oil Containers, LSD Barrels, and Meth Barrels all have the same image. This leads to confusion when trying to sort out between all 3. Example 1: You're selling oil to Rockefeller, but accidentally put in LSD or Meth Example 2: You're doing a crew deal for LSD: Meth, but something either gets mixed up or an accidental oil container gets slipped in there Although these things can be solved through close examination of every item, it would be best if all 3 aren't the same image. Perhaps a change in color for each of the barrels could be a good addition, or different images altogether for LSD and Meth.2 points

+1 Maybe something in the C menu that could do this? I know Pendred & the gang love taking money out of the economy to make things more scarce, and I think that this could be a somewhat viable convenience for people that permanently takes money out of the economy.2 points

Your Character or Steam Name: TheTrumpMeister (Vincent Luciano) Your SteamID (Click to retrieve): STEAM_0:0:56488939 Your Discord ID#: thetrumpmeister Reason for ban: MRDM | LTAP Length of ban: Permanent Reason for appeal (dispute/apology): Apology Why should you be unbanned? I’ll be honest - when I first joined the server, I wasn’t taking the roleplay seriously and my mindset was more focused on causing havoc in the city than actually being part of the community. Looking back on it, I understand why I was banned. It’s been about a year and a half, and I’d appreciate another chance. I’ve played on a lot of servers over the years like Chronet, Nitoria, and Men of Respect, but most of those communities are gone now. Diverge has built something solid with a consistently active playerbase, and I don’t want to waste another opportunity to be part of it again. Additional Information (images, videos, etc): None1 point

Right now, staff often need to PM players with messages like /pm "You're no longer PK Active." /pm "You're PK Active for 15 minutes as you're involved in a PK." /pm "Blah blah blah, staff stuff, blah blah blah." We already have the /it command, which can make roleplay experiences much more memorable when used correctly. /it The wind brushes past your hair. You're awfully close to the edge. /it One more step and all your problems would be over. /it You feel your heartbeat begin to slow as the adrenaline leaves your system. The only issue with /it is that it affects everyone within a certain radius, which means it can't be used for sensitive information that should only be seen by one person. If possible we could have something like a PM and a /it Without the Staff name attached, even if it's a command locked to a Certain rank i think it'd just be better overall for RP situations /pit STEAMID "Example, Example" It would work exactly like /it, but the message would only be visible to a single player via SteamID. For example You’ve just made a PK ticket and sent your proof to staff, I Think personally it'd be more immersive with the /Pit involvement instead of us using /pm and breaking immersion [Yugi PM]: The dude is active. *You feel your heartbeat quicken in your chest. Whatever you're about to do may be the last moment of your life or theirs. You go out and kill the player, and 15 minutes later, instead of receiving the following PM, you get the message in chat with the /pit function [Yugi PM]: You're no longer PK Active. *Your heartbeat begins to slow as the adrenaline leaves your system. It seems that today will not be your last.1 point

As stated, they can lie to you. The trust wasn't there. They saw you playing when you were 'retired' and you tried to use that as a shield, unfortunately it is insufficient. You were playing again on the character, you needed to make arrangements with the organized crime family you were in. 'Retirement' in the mafia can mean a lot of things. Your appeal has been reviewed and denied. We have determined this PK to be reasonable and/or justified. You may not re-appeal this PK.1 point

What does this suggestion add / change / etc : You can't punch for 2 hours, and you can't sit down for 4 ( alt + e). I think a logical change is that you cannot DRIVE with untill you reach 3 hours of playtime. Has this been suggested before : Shi I dunno At least 2 positives of this suggestion : - Less minges stealing cars upon starting the server and ramming it into a crowd of 30 people. - Less work for staff, having to refund / comp dozens of people going through the painful process of being hit by cars for no reason. 2 negatives for this suggestion : Really only one - a new player who WANTS to rp cant drive and larp for 3 hours. But to be fair.. you take away their ability to punch for 2 and alt + e for 4. I think this is more than fair. Overall summary: Massive change that would at least reduce the amount of minges stealing cars and ramming dozens over for no reason. While this can harm new players TRYING to drive and larp. Seeing with the 2 others things that are already held off on them I don't believe its a massive thing. And in theory, it could just be someone else on a new character doing it but, thats up to them if they really wanna get banned for MVDM / mingey behavior if they actively play.1 point

I think a Walking License should be put in place and block walking behind a roughly 4-5 hour window while running (sprinting) requires a separate license that is more expensive and you can’t sprint until about 6-7 hours. This balances the game nicely and adds an additional flavor to the unique Roleplay (RP) ((LARP for short)) this server (Divergent Networks New Jersey 1960s Mobster RP) has to offer to the community. Hello all, With the new addition of Drug Market Fluctuating Values, i believe we need a new form of storage, especially for those smart enough (Or dumb enough) to hold out until it's a better price. And as of such I'd like to introduce the concept of the "Sealed Case" Aka Drug Case. As can be seen above, The Sealed Case would hold 10 Baggies, and when opening it / using it there should be a /me in the chat, such as. /me (Name) Opens the sealed container. These Sealed Cases should be Felony Items therefore if an officer see's someone opening it they may move to make an arrest etc.1 point

Hello, recently while i was recruiting people i realized something and i think this could use a rule change. Its about buying the company car after getting into the faction WL, then leaving right after buying it and still being able to use it. ● If they have left the gang/family without approval from the leader, while holding the position of made man+ (or appropriate equivalent), they may be subject to a PK. Entry level associates who are not made or deeply committed to the organization may leave without harm as their position is low and they know very little. (Security, waiters, doormen, drivers, etc) <You will be asked to provide evidence of rank> This does not apply if they have partaken in felony criminal actions, drug manufacturing/murder/robbery/etc that are directly related to your faction (However these actions must be verified). Generally under most don's orders. I aint saying somebody who just joined a faction should get PK’d over some small/dumb reason at all. People got the right to change they mind and i %100 agree with it. But at the same time i really feel like this rule needs a lil update or something added onto it because the current system people are allowed to joining every faction WL, buys their company car without ever touching the drug racket, then just leaves and repeats the same thing over and over. Dude could literally collect cars from every faction and there is nothing against that. And there is also the fact u already get like 10k to 15k for a 30 min shift. You get the company car and WL because after the job you basically say “yeah i wanna stay as a employee” They make it clear from the start how you gonna be parth of something (legal/illegal doesnt matter). The whole point is even if u aint see anything illegal, that still dont justify taking the car and leaving. In my opinion there is 2 ways to make this make sense. Either add faction WL company cars into the same category as touching the racket, or give factions PK rights over somebody once they get trusted enough to access those faction assets which is directly related to a faction. Realistically speaking, we are roleplaying 1990 southside New York mafia type shit. If somebody comes into your business, works there for like a day, proves himself enough to get inside, gets trusted with a company vehicle and paid for his shift, then suddenly goes “nah i dont want to work with yall anymore” or just straight up disappears with access to faction assets. There is no way people would let that slide back in the 90's. Cause at the end of the day, the company car is still faction WL only and represents the company itself. Example: a couple days ago i hired like 4 people, took their info, put them on pager, got them recruited, handed them company cars and paid them 15k, told them “if you need anything just hit me up” and literally like 5 seconds after leaving they left the faction, started riding around the city with OUR company cars, spent the money and were already on their way to do the exact same thing to another faction. Because of this kind of move, cops or other people might start judging the faction just because of the company car situation, even if he’s not working for the company that gave it to him anymore. Or, without needing to add more PK reasons, just make the company car that belongs to the faction WL cant be accessed by people who is not in the WL anymore. Im not saying every little thing should lead to PK, but faction vehicles are faction assets too. If you trusted somebody enough to get him in the WL, that already means they were involved enough with the organization. Even If the recruiter doesnt explains the Illegal side of the faction, the game already makes it very clear when you try to join the WL as full time employee means getting involved in an illegal org. It literally tells you this isnt some safe clean path, it comes with risks, you might lose your character, and you gotta protect your goals while knowing all that from the start. Otherwise people can just abuse this and get as many cars from multiple factions as they want. Long story short, i really think making a change on this would be okey, wouldnt feel weird at all. If anyone took the time to read this, i appreciate it. Drop your own thoughts.1 point

+1 It would be good if new players are able to get into passenger seats, but not be able to drive for the first 3 hours. That way, if a new player is getting hired by someone and they need a way of transportation, they can just hop in someone’s car rather than having to wait 3 hours.1 point

Yea lowkey if prices are gonna fluctuate for the foreseeable future then it'd be pretty nice having something like the gun/attachment bags that allow people to store a certain ammount of baggies or bricks.1 point
-
Make the server more like tarkov with specific storages for everything, we have gun bags and attachment bags Why don't we make a Sealed Drug Bag 2x2 that holds 10 drugs, and have it be a felony to have one on your person empty or not. Maybe make it so they are bought in the sewers or the barge1 point

Literally the perfect solution. Detectives should be able to walk around and ask questions or whatever in suits. They look dumb in uniforms constantly. I am not, and never have been a Detective, but I think they deserve to have that unique style. Badge on the belt in a suit would look sick.1 point

Currently the warning you get when joining a Faction (shown below) is a blanket warning applying to all factions allowing no individuality in what factions stand for. What I am proposing is adding a box to this warning which the boss of each family can assign specific rules to which new recruits must agree to when joining a faction. This would allow factions to specify what they expect of their recruits so there's less surprise when people get PK'd for doing stupid shit. A few examples would be specifying that a certain faction doesn't allow mugging or allow drug trades etc etc.1 point
