While I personally like the idea of this being put in place, it's a roleplay server and no matter if someone is annoying or not you can roleplay it out. Plus I can't wait to see the situations where someone knowing they are muted abuses the mute system, by following you. Holding you under FearRp knowing you can't hear them, and inevitably pking you just because you chose to mute them. However I do love the idea of a volume slider if it's possible to implement that feature.

-1 i met him in the city and we became friends because we had some things in common. we used to talk from time to time, not that often, but we were on good terms, later on i found out that he had been talking behind my back just to get closer to a girl. He's been involved with Taka for way more than a week IC/OOC and I've observed plenty of good roleplay from him, I'm pretty sure it was me who hired him. Mugging only becomes an issue when the (((wrong person))) gets mugged, has a baby bitch fit and cries to the admins. If you're mugging people everyday then there would definitely be an issue, however there are many factors for one to avoid being mugged and if it happens to someone, it's on them. I've been mugged before and haven't let my guard down since, it hasn't happened to me again and never will (no I will not knock on wood). This doesn’t mean barring them completely, obviously they can enter under circumstances like responding to a call. But them going inside every 10 minutes and trying to open every door is absurd and makes absolutely no sense. I understand that no faction owns it, but it’s certainly not just public property, it’s a rundown apartment building. It’s supposed to be a somewhat safe area where players who don’t own property can cook drugs. Cops coming and going every 5 minutes takes away from the atmosphere and disrupts my business ventures and just overall kills the vibe. Minimize police presence and bring life to the ghetto.

I think the server could greatly improve immersion by expanding the available roleplay animations. Instead of needing to create entirely new animations from scratch, it might be worth looking into pulling animation data from frameworks like Clockwork HL2RP or similar Source RP schemas that already have large animation libraries built out. A lot of these frameworks already support things like: Smoking animations. Wall leaning. Notebook writing. Radio use. Searching/patdowns. Injured idles. Sitting variations. Hand interactions. (handover/receive) Investigation poses. Since these already exist within the Source animation sets, it may just be a matter of integrating or porting the animation tables rather than creating entirely new ones. This could save development time while still expanding RP expression. Why this would help: Right now most interactions are just characters standing still during conversations. More available animations would allow players to show emotion, status, and intent through body language instead of only text. This would especially benefit: Mafia meetings. Police investigations. Business RP. Interrogations. Street interactions. This could allow Diverge to quickly expand RP immersion without major development overhead. The goal wouldn't be feature bloat, just giving players more tools to visually roleplay and make interactions feel more alive. Hence, the entire apartment block is protected by the fourth amendment. You were PKed on the grounds of VCWP (Violent Confrontation With Police), where you were shooting at cops, they then went to the roof and after you continued shooting at them, where you were then killed. At the time I was playing another game while in call with AUI_Animator, where he said there was a PK ticket he could not claim since he was involved in some way (I didnt ask for specifics). I then got on and made an OOC message for people to remake tickets that were open so I could take the PK ticket. After I got all the information I needed from the cop who had killed you, being Corporal Ricky Long, I got a message from Animator saying that you were involved in an RDM case since he believed you were shooting at cops for no reason. I told him that I would be over there in a moment to PK your char since he was dealing with the RDM. The events after resulted in my teleporting you to another sit room and PKing your char. When I stated I was the one that killed your character I was speaking in the fact that I had just administered the PK, not that I had killed you myself. I am smart enough to not take my own tickets... In regards to you saying I targeted your char its easier for you to make a staff report, but ill give you the long story short. I PKed your char, swapped to my cop char since I wanted to patrol for a bit, looked at the tab menu where I saw your cop char had the same name as the char I had just pked. told you we had to change your name since your chars cannot have the same last name, let alone the exact same name as another char. then changed your name. TL;DR - There was a coroner ticket made (cop pk), I got on, took the ticket, pked your char, switched to my cop char, saw you were running around with the exact same name when i looked at tab menu, saw Corporal Ricky Long was looking for you, saw you, told you to change your name, and went on with my evening. Best of luck in your appeal!

This and Daddy Skull's appeal are a great example of how simply being disliked is enough to be permanently banned. I think it's really fucking sad that someone can follow the rules and still get banned for playing the server in a way that's fun to them. It's the same situation for both appeals, they will continue to sit it perma-ban limbo until they quit the server or pay for re-entry. Mugging is a big part of diverge RP, it delivers a reason to fear for losing your shit if you're being careless or caught in a bad place. "Mugging Char" is a sad excuse for a ban, Hans has millions of self-earned value and is risking it every time he attempts to mug. If bans like this are continued to be handed out, we'll all eventually just be sitting around waiting for shipments or the next GM event.
