What is the point of all the coding and all the work put into the warrant system if its never going to be used? No cops actually go through the minimal effort that is using the warrant system. Just from the beginning of September until now there have been 21 warrants filed, all either petty crimes or racket events, but the month of August only brought in 13 warrants. I know first hand from my time within PD how often warrants are secured/executed. Here are some suggestions I have to make the warrant system feel like it actually exists for both parties; Grace period/execution window prior to publicity of a warrant - Based on severity of crime, jail time being faced, prior history, and anything else that could be connected to a person committing a crime should have a period where the warrant can remain private. Up to the Judges discretion and points made before window of publicity could range from 24 hours for minor crimes, to 7 days for major warrants (Murder, or plea deals that give life sentences). Incentivize filing warrants through the system - Give a small reward to the officer that files the warrant/executed the warrant. Similar to a bail system, judges can also put a small prize on the head of someone getting a warrant on them, which could be collected with their paycheck in the computer. (image provided was a premade template of what this could look like) Create more RP - If someone is informed that they have a warrant they will likely do 3 of the following actions; 1. Turn themselves in - encourage more Law RP within the server. 2. Avoid police by any means - Sit within properties, stay masked up, run from authorities when questioned. Ultimately add more charges in the end. 3. Quit playing/delete the character - Majority of warrants are mainly just an excuse to immediately rush someone. Once the person deletes the character or goes inactive for more than 3 weeks warrant will be updated to something along the lines of "This person has fled the city". If the person with the warrant is to come back after inactivity the warrant will be replaced on their person, where cops will be informed that they have returned to the city. Use more investigative options - Government channels, especially the DOC exist for a reason. If there is someone with a warrant and you know that they work at a property and they return to turn themselves in you can follow the government channels to get more arrests/cause more harm to factions in the long run. This is including property raiding, arrests on other individuals for aiding and abetting. Allows warrants to be powerful, but not overpowered - All the retarded "secret warrants" that are filed that just arent put in the system goes against the whole reason why the warrant system was introduced in the first place. It gives an opportunity for police officers to still do the arrests and large busts that they yearn for, while giving the crims an opportunity to choose their fate with the character. I am well aware that alot of these points I made are already being used day-to-day by the police, but why add something that is supportive of both sides if its never going to be used? There is no reason to have the current in-game warrant system if nobody is ever going to use it. All the options that the crims were given are just going to be thrown out the door. Of course this is just a suggestion, but I think I speak on behalf of atleast a few crim mains when I say that there should be some opportunity. I am open to hearing any counter arguments or any other suggestions regarding this.

I mean you could see the difference as ERP being 2 parties engaging, where rape is one person having unconsensual intercourse with another. so ERP = 2 willing participants; Rape = 1 non-willing participant if im correct you cant even charge someone with that with the jailor NPC Also please dont rape anybody in game

people pay lots of money for cars to go 300 mph, if thats slowed people will pay even more to have those cars buffed to be 300 mph again. Once everyone spends 50 dollars to buff the cars we nerf them again. If this scenario happens we can have an even better server!!!!!!

Hello! I was the Admin who initiated the ban, going off the evidence provided by Psykho. You were banned on the grounds of LTARP due to you getting in a foot pursuit with the cops and then switching chars to avoid the arrest. The ban was heavier due to the circumstances, where you would've gotten a hefty sentence if you were actually arrested. Regarding your argument to powergame, Psykho summed it up perfectly, where if you are going to shake hands with someone, it should be someone you trust. I know a lot of people who have gotten caught in that trap where cops will be off-duty and try to shake your hand. Anyways, that's all from me, best of luck in your appeal!

Hello! PKing admin here. As stated on Nikos appeal from both myself and the person who opened the ticket, you and your group went mass raiding, and ended up trapped in the room. You guys then all left 3 minutes after lockpicking into the room. For your actions and the report of a player I PKed your chars for LTARP during raid. Thats all from me, best of luck on your appeal!

Hello! PKing admin here, Holiday essentially summed everything up for me, you guys went mass raiding. Once something went wrong you all LTARPed together, especially in a situation which likely wouldve resulted in the deaths of your characters or the people attempting to defend the room. From the moment you guys lockpicked in to when you guys disconnected in the room there were only 3 minutes apart. Next time if you are going to go raiding please ensure to read up on the rules beforehand. Thats all from me, best of luck on your appeal!

Hello! Pking admin here! You were PKed on the grounds of VCWP (Violent Confrontation With Police), where you were shooting at cops, they then went to the roof and after you continued shooting at them, where you were then killed. At the time I was playing another game while in call with AUI_Animator, where he said there was a PK ticket he could not claim since he was involved in some way (I didnt ask for specifics). I then got on and made an OOC message for people to remake tickets that were open so I could take the PK ticket. After I got all the information I needed from the cop who had killed you, being Corporal Ricky Long, I got a message from Animator saying that you were involved in an RDM case since he believed you were shooting at cops for no reason. I told him that I would be over there in a moment to PK your char since he was dealing with the RDM. The events after resulted in my teleporting you to another sit room and PKing your char. When I stated I was the one that killed your character I was speaking in the fact that I had just administered the PK, not that I had killed you myself. I am smart enough to not take my own tickets... In regards to you saying I targeted your char its easier for you to make a staff report, but ill give you the long story short. I PKed your char, swapped to my cop char since I wanted to patrol for a bit, looked at the tab menu where I saw your cop char had the same name as the char I had just pked. told you we had to change your name since your chars cannot have the same last name, let alone the exact same name as another char. then changed your name. TL;DR - There was a coroner ticket made (cop pk), I got on, took the ticket, pked your char, switched to my cop char, saw you were running around with the exact same name when i looked at tab menu, saw Corporal Ricky Long was looking for you, saw you, told you to change your name, and went on with my evening. -1 Throughout the time I have known you, you've consistently demonstrated an insane level of immaturity. You would always get upset when you didn't get your way, you would try to abuse the fact that you were made to try to get information that you weren't supposed to have, which would then circle back to what I first said, as well as cause conflicts with a bunch of people in game. I could continue that list forever, but then it would stretch a little too long. You have a bad habit of pushing your luck, and that's where I believe, if you were to get staff at this moment, you would take advantage of that fact, and it would make the staff team look bad. You also just finished serving a mugging char ban, where you also, around 6 months ago, got off a metagame ban. Yes, there is a lot of time between the two of these bans, but it's recent enough to be brought into the conversation. I believe if you truly think you deserve a staff, I would personally recommend going 6 months without causing issues in-game with any faction or person. At this time, truthfully, I do not believe you are capable of handling the information and power of being staff. With all that being said, in the end, my word is taken with a grain of salt.
