I was contracted by Bao Zen Nosha to mug this a specific person that either left or was unwhitelisted in Takashashi. He said to grab all the Japenese items that they might have and to return them to him. Upon identifying the female and initiating the mug, I noticed that they would not put their hands up. Given the knowledge that they were in Takahashi and I had recently worked at Takahashi, I knew that this individual may be in possession of a firearm. With this in mind, I did not want to restrain the individual without them putting their hands in the air first as a safety precaution. After many warnings for this person to put their hands up had passed, I decided to just end up shooting them because they were not complying with my demands. I don't see how this is pk hunting, given the contract and it's details. I would understand how this looks like pk hunting if there was no reason behind the mugging. If I was just mugging anybody with clothing store items and trying to force a pk. However, I gave them many opportunities to comply with my demands and they did not listen. I run into a problem with having so much clothing in my banks that sometimes it takes me minutes to find a specific item, I feel as it would be beneficial to have that implemented into the bank system.

I'm trying to figure out how and why this is against the rules. The person was noncompliant. Being non compliant during a mugging gets you killed. If you think for any second that a nga from my whitelist isn't strapped with a pm9, THEY are either retarded or your dead wrong - because everyone has a gun. They should not of kept moving on and off and simply just complied with the mugging and it would've never turned to a pk. I understand why "PK hunting" is being brought up due to the lack of restraints being used, but me personally? I'm not getting pked because some retard cant stand still. Stop making rules to make mugging harder, it's part of the game for a reason. Either take it out completely since everyone's so fucking soft - or make it simple and not such a pain in the ass for someone to successfully perform a mugging. If someone is noncompliant, anyone who would just walk right up and give multiple chances to be able to restrain them, they are not muggers, they are asking to be PK'ed

After you PK someone your character would have periodic images of the player you killed flash on your screen. It would be completely random and would continue on for the entirety of your players life. Players should have to live with the guilt of what they’ve done.

Agreed the only reason I responded is because my SB was the one who contracted it so I have some investment in this situation. Breaking FearRP or showing disregard for your own life which results in death; this means if you kill yourself in an attempt to avoid an arrest or mugging, intentionally drowning or falling to your death to avoid detainment, or even having a friend or faction member kill you while you are detained are all considered a 'disregard for your own life' and can lead to a PK. Perma killed body's instead of being the normal half life 2 which i believe is boring and kind of repetitive, should be swapped for the corpse of the actual player i have seen this done before and it would be cooler for any detective RP to actually have a dead body Infront of him instead of the same corpse over and over. This makes a more immersive kill too, to see the recipient of the PK's actual corpse makes him more identifiable via witnesses too. Doing a whack in a public place carry's the risk of witnesses snitches etc, to have someone be able to point you out "hey that guy was walking with him when he got murdered" makes the hit way more risky anyway it also adds more investigation then just clicking the "E" key and seeing the name of the person of course that will still be the mechanic but it adds a bit more if the cop has IC knowledge of this person has seen them before or was aware of their whereabouts previous to their demise. That's the pro for the detective RP but there is a few cons to criminal roleplay which a lot of people would dislike but i think its more immersive as mafia roleplay has advanced you see a lot more stuff come around and the game get more immersive to the point you cant tell your playing a half life 2 source engine and it feels like you are playing a separate game i think this breaks away from the Garry's mod part of the game and makes it its special game mode i only see benefits to the experience. I cant imagine the code to this is of a lot of difficulty but i could be wrong. opinions?

If you watch either clip, you can clearly see the individual running away from Hans after he had drawn his firearm and explicitly ordered her to put her hands up. Strictly from a rules perspective, this was the point at which we would have been justified in killing the individual, resulting in a PK, as she was blatantly fleeing despite being held at gunpoint and ordered to comply. However, rather than immediately resorting to killing her, we chose to give her another opportunity to comply, under the assumption that she might have been a new player unfamiliar with the rules. We gave her well over 10 seconds to put her hands up or return to the tunnel parking lot, as I had repeatedly ordered her to do. Despite these repeated commands and ample opportunity to comply, she continued to disregard our orders. Only after this continued noncompliance did we resort to killing her. This was not PK hunting. This was an individual repeatedly refusing to comply with armed threats in violation of FearRP, despite being given multiple opportunities to do so. Her death was a direct consequence of that noncompliance, not an attempt on our part to deliberately seek out a PK.

Hello, I'm going to comment on this matter, as I am the other individual involved in the clip. We were approached by a member of Takahashi-Kai and asked to mug a particular individual. We agreed and subsequently spotted the individual leaving PD grounds. We offered her a ride, which she accepted, and she entered my vehicle. We then drove to the tunnel parking lot, where Hans immediately exited the vehicle, drew his weapon, and ordered her to put her hands up. She did not comply with this order, ran off into the tunnel area and even went as far as typing something in chat instead of COMPLYING under FearRP. This continued for a considerable amount of time, during which she had ample opportunity to comply. As a result of her continued noncompliance, she was killed. Regarding the individual claiming that "put your hands up" is not a valid command, that is simply incorrect. I do(n't) mean to come across as arrogant, but I've personally administered over 100 PKs during my time as staff, with only two of them ever being overturned. I believe that gives me a fairly solid understanding of what constitutes a valid roleplay command. Ordering someone to put their hands up is an entirely valid roleplay command. An invalid command, on the other hand, would be something along the lines of "flex your F7 muscle," as that explicitly requires a player to use a specific keybind rather than comply with an instruction given through roleplay. There is a clear distinction between the two, and telling someone to put their hands up does not fall into the latter category. Under the server rules, this individual became subject to PK when she refused to comply and proceeded to walk away despite both of us having our firearms aimed directly at her. I also repeatedly ordered her to return, which she continued to disregard. I will attach my own clip to provide further context and demonstrate that the individual was given multiple opportunities to comply. This PK was valid under the server rules, and I genuinely believe Calink erred in his decision. 1. The last time I decided it was time for my main character to relapse on herion I called the police. I was in the car dealer / pharmacy alleyway. The cops pulled up to my little campsite and arrested me for making a false call. I was trying to convince them my char was overdosing and I shot like 4 bags of herion. There is absolutely nothing wrong with this PK, The faction has made it plenty clear that they only give certain members in their faction permission to sell weapons, something I am sure you were made aware of during your training/is clearly posted in their discord. Even IF you given permission they could still kill you for undercutting them. They got direct proof that you were making those rumours by calling your number and seeing that you picked up. Somewhere in this appeal you mentioned that you never ordered any weapons from the racket, this is flat out false. In your logs there is you ordering weapons and making rumour messages to sell them.

i know there was the risks but the thing is that they gained an advantage over me when he RDMed me because i lost my gun, if they didnt rdm me i wouldent have been afk getting a clip for an admin ready. its just unfair because if they didn't rdm me i would have been prepared or at least not sitting down with no way of defending myself.
