Like others have statead, wiretapping mobile phones is wildly unrealistic in this time period and when it comes to the RP on the server, I don't see any practical appliance of it(When does Police ever get ahold of your mobile phone, and if they do and they can wiretap it, after the first incident the new norm will be that if the Police get your phone somehow, just get a new one). The only real way this would be done is with a wider eavesdropping operation on the mobile network and within a specific range of service but that's beyond impractical when it comes to the server capabilities.

I get the sentiment behind all that, but that just sounds like a slippery slope. It's the reason why vigilantism is illegal around the world, setting the precedent of players using force to make sure people abide by the rules could lead to more harm than good. Who gets to decide who's "minging"? Yeah the example on the clip is obvious but how do you articulate that in the rules? Can a person be KOS for ruining the RP? Who gets to decide when the RP is ruined and if it was done maliciously or not etc.

What a reach, making up your scenario of what you think is true and running with it as if it were fact. Talking like the notion of "There's an event going on so the police are pre-disposed so that's why I will do illegal shit and not get caught" can even be proven as true. Yes those two statements are in conflict with eachother because you made them up to be in conflict with eachother, that's what we call a strawman argument. So, no, you cannot prove that Akira acted in bath faith abusing the event going on to do what he did. The fact that a cop actually came for him disproves that whole notion. You wanna know what can actually be and has been proven? The fact that you as a plainshirt NOT RPing as a Sargeant and NOT following the proper rules and etiquette should not have gotten involved at all, nevertheless go out of your way after to PK the character all by yourself.

Caught up in police work? So were you doing events? Were you participating in police work as plainshirt? Was it some special operation given to you by PD HC that required you to be plainshirt?

If the knowledge of the RP(Akira messing with the body) was gained incorrectly(Sergeant in plainclothes, participating in an event) I think the PK should also be invalidated since the RP isn't valid. Seems to me that, since Monaclu was in plain clothes and participating in an event, he was off-duty. The fact that he stumbled upon Akira doing what he was doing doesn't give him the right to actively participate in the scene. You could go as far and argue that reporting the scene was already beyond what the rules allow, but directly participating while off duty is definitely against the rules and should invalidate the whole RP.
