Hi, so to elaborate more on both the map and the mugging scenario you're referring too: Yes, the bush there is intended as a red zone. It is a high-risk mugging spot. The issues with the mug in question lies more in the seclusion of the mug. As DutchCat had stated, the mugging was not secluded. Initiating in a yellow zone is within the rules, but not with witnesses present. The mug was initiated with 2 bystanders in Line of Sight (LOS) and assumedly both La Trattoria and La Volpe open and operating as businesses. Before tying is even completed, there are now 2 more bystanders - in this instance 2 police officers. Upon completing the tie, there is now an additional bystander. Overall there are 5 witnesses in clear LOS at the bare minimum. To pull some rules for you - 2. You may not mug in a public place, you can, however, pull a weapon on them and bring them to a secluded area to rob them (This can only be done when there is no one else around. 6. The goal of this image is to help reduce fail mugs. It is a good guideline to follow, all rules listed in this section will supersede the map and staff have the final say regarding what is or isn't fail mug in a sit. That is to say that the seclusion rule (2.) supersedes the map's designation of the bush as a redzone, in this case. And from the map itself - Hopefully this works to clear up any confusion around both the outcome of the appeal, and the designation of the location as a redzone. Apparently due to the noise suppression they didn't hear that and killed me. Right before this i had like 700 ping spikes when i drove to the house. I was under the impression i had locked the door and owned the property. The other cop on the scene "Leone Abbacchio" said that the detective "Ram Whitefield" had a hardon for me and kept trying to get me in trouble after this happened in the admin sit the day after. - Reminder that he already PKd me on my first day on the server + he tried to PK me again but it was denied when i showed a clip that i never fired at police or did anything wrong. I am new to the server, enjoying my time and this has to be some sort of bug, i closed the front door and next thing i know i have two cops in my house. There are tiny little bushes that are considered "red zones," but I guess not if the admin deems so. An example of a bush that isn't would be the one between the laundromat and the pawn shop. The map shows red, but when used as evidence to get my friend unbanned, it was denied. I just think the map should be MORE specific if you're going to enforce it as harshly as you guys do.

There was no powergame by police here, no grand conspiracy or staff shenanigans, you simply squatted in a property you could not own. Cops investigated it as it was still seized, found you, you opened fire immediately and died. The officer couldn't be killed at that point because he was only asking you for your ID. Asking for ID by itself isn't a detainment or arrest under the rule. He was trying to identify you, nothing more at that point. If he had asked you to take off the protective equipment and then said you'd be arrested if you refused, that's where things would be different. At that point, you could either comply with him or try to get out of the arrest by taking the officer out. The order of events should've been pretty simple: Officer asks for ID → You give your ID → Officer sees you're a felon → Officer warns you about the protective equipment and threatens arrest → You either comply or try to escape the arrest. You can't really skip straight from being asked for ID to treating it as an active arrest/detainment. Rule 16/15 only comes into play once the officer actually attempts to arrest or detain you. As for the 24-hour ban, you've already had two previous POs from other Staff Members. This is your first actual ban, so I didn't think a long ban was necessary, but with the previous POs in mind. Because of that, I felt 24 hours was the fair middle ground for the situation.

Duration: 1W I would like to dispute this ban because I believe important context surrounding the incident was left out. The incident in question occurred two nights ago near the Car Dealership. I was with my friend Joe Dirt, and we were walking around and talking when a grey Trackhawk approached us. The driver initially began talking with us, but the interaction escalated into insults and eventually explicit threats to kill both me and my friend. Because of this, we attempted to disengage from the situation rather than escalate it. We walked away from the Car Dealership and continued toward the area behind the Casino near the benches and parking lot. Despite us leaving the original location, the Trackhawk followed us and continued making threats and insulting us. At that point, I believed the situation had escalated beyond simple verbal harassment. The individual had followed us after we attempted to leave and had repeatedly threatened to kill us. I did not know whether he was armed or whether he intended to act on those threats. Because of this, I believed there was a legitimate possibility that the situation would escalate into an actual attack. After the individual continued following us and making threats, I drew my weapon and fired. My intention was not to randomly kill or RDM the individual, but to protect myself and my friend from someone who had followed us while repeatedly threatening our lives. I understand that, without the preceding events, the shooting could appear to be an unprovoked attack. However, I believe the preceding threats, pursuit, and continued harassment are important context when evaluating what happened. I also want to point out that I was banned while I was not in the server, meaning I was not present to provide my account of the incident or respond to the accusations before the punishment was issued. I am therefore asking that the incident be reviewed using the full context, including any available recordings, witness statements, logs, or other evidence showing the preceding interaction. I understand that firing a weapon and killing another player is a serious action and I am not claiming that the situation cannot be reviewed. I am asking for the circumstances leading up to it to be considered rather than treating the shooting as an isolated RDM incident. Based on the threats, the continued pursuit after we attempted to leave, and my belief that the individual intended to escalate the situation I request that the ban be reconsidered.
