For a valid mug, you’re required to issue clear demands and give a realistic amount of time to comply/react. Saying “hands, hands” and then shooting 2-3 seconds later does not meet that requirement. Removing a gun from safety is not defined as non compliance or aggression in the rules. You fired before confirming refusal to comply and before establishing Fear RP properly or even to check if he had a gun with him or not. That’s why the shot is invalid rule wise as how I explained it.

alright @bigwillyhumper69, youve inspired me. this is basically a copy and paste of my previous ramble the mansion AREA (strip that leads up to it and mansion itself) can be rehauled into a "industrial" block it doesnt need to be pretty could be literally anything lower end like townhouses, factory buildings, convenience/liquor stores OR could be a "Wallstreet" like block with professional buildings / luxury restaurants a potential mini world corp/legrand to make the nostalgia slaves shut up OR another urban area more clubs / bars / entertainment like a block LITERALLY the ideas and potential over there is insane (now this is in theory as well of HOW MUCH the area can fit truly) obviously nothing happens overnight + mapping takes work!! a new area of properties could really shake up things for new coming factions or existing ones to move elsewhere changing up the environment and day to day political environments were use to also this would provide just more general stuff in the northern end of the map as it is imo incredibly dead no reason to go over there unless you’re one of the few that has to own a property there (Even still people who own gas station etc never use it nor are ever open since its so dead) (this change would be benefiting all nearby buildings to continue RP to the area (7/12, gun store thats never used but can be with this change adding relevance, warehouse, laundromat, etc) overall would be a major update / upgrade to the northern side the mansion could be "under utilized" but there's realistically only so much you can do after you use it a few times, obviously a little bit more you could do BUT its owned by the government which never uses it and when you rent it youre under government watch and limited to what you can use the building for (so mainly GM events are the only thing left to be done there) overall theres just way more to gain and benefit the entire community with something the people can utilize and move around not a fat chunk just sitting there (its pretty much the old maps harbor warehouse that was in the far corner just sitting there the gov mansion corner/area is a ghost town.)

Overall, this is just a messy situation. The individual was given only one warning, which does not make him PK-active under the rules. 3) If you're holding someone under Fear RP and issue them orders/warnings not to do something and they disobey you may kill them. However, one single warning/order will not suffice, multiple warnings in a very short time span will also not suffice. You have to give them adequate time to react. Also breaks mugging rule 11 You may only kill the victim if they DO NOT comply with your demands. Victims that comply are to be left unharmed. Likewise you may only make realistic demands, this means you can’t demand something unrealistic that the victim cannot deliver in order to kill them. Give them a realistic amount of time to comply. Don't order them to do something then shoot them < 5 seconds later, they barely have time to comply. In the clip, from his perspective, you can clearly see people pulling out guns on him while he already had a weapon visible. In the video, it’s evident that he was carrying a gun, and for a brief moment he takes it off safety. If he had actually attempted to pull the gun out, it would have taken significantly longer and been much more obvious. That never happened. On top of that, another Fear RP rule is broken: 11) Fearrp no longer applies when you shoot and/or damage the victim, they may retaliate without risk. You shot him first, within roughly 1–2 seconds after issuing the warning not to move. Fear RP was immediateely voided the moment shots were fired. I see this situation more of a rdm than a mug if anything and then they proceed to use OOC matters IC.

It would be pretty cool if when a char was pked a screen would appear / menu would be able to be opened to show that chars stats. Like if after it shows your name with the dates you were able to see your actions and such. In my eyes these would include Pks done by you, overall kills, deaths, time played on that char and just a random little title for your stats. By title I mean if someone had an absurdly negative k/d it would be like Hospitals number one patient or if alot of time played it would be no-life. I could see there being issues with past events and stats being loaded since the amount of time and how old log wipes are handled. Overall could just be a cool little thing for people to brag and show off.

+1 Interacted with a few members of this faction over the years (as-well as recently) and they are a mature and motivated group. From what I've seen they have a good understanding of what it takes to create good roleplay, internally and externally. Faction application isn't perfect, but none of them are. Could do with being reformatted and some more detail in certain areas. But I do like how the application gives a solid timeline with dates included, as well as it being well thought-out with referenced links. Overall, solid application. Would like to see how a British faction would do in today's New York. Fox has set the bar high. - Dong

To briefly address and comment on my low play time, I would like to mention that, in contrast with several other applicants, I possess over half-a-years worth of experience not only as a staff member, but a staff member on a Garry's Mod roleplay server (Prometheus Networks) which gives me a large head-start on not only the broader rules and regulations, but also the Nutscript commands and how to use them. Not to mention, I've went through the rules countless times during not only the gaps in roleplay on the server, but in my free-time off of Garry's Mod just out of boredom and curiosity which gives me (in my opinion) a lot of valuable starting knowledge compared to many other applicants who may be vying for a position on the staff team.

Yeah it definetly looks like it could have been a mistake on my end. Where the gun was so small maybe I just missed it because the clip looks like it could have blended it with your jacket. Every faction has pretty much one consolidated goal: hire as many fucking retarded people as possible to grind bricks for the Don. They do this with limited consequences. You work the door for half an hour without any rp, maybe even less than that, then you're an oil bitch for a week or two before you get into drugs. These factions hire and don't punish some of the most questionable individuals that get caught every 10 min doing shit. The staggering amount of people who operate with little to no operational security, die, and come back in a week is mind blowing. Before this gets mass downvoted hear me out please. This isn't just a "buff pd nerf crims" post. If thought out and implemented correctly it can bring an increase in faction rp quality, gives prenatal Tylenol victims something to do, and ideally it would give dons and high command more faction management tools. 1) Implement a system for faction high command to control who gets access to drugs and/or guns. If we're gonna invite a chance that a faction can take some significant damage from poor opsec, it's best that they get the ability to pick and choose who of their people can partake in the activities most vital and dangerous to their continued existence. The meat and potatoes of a RICO case is establishing that a criminal enterprise exists and a pattern of crimes from the past present and planned future crimes. In order for a RICO case to work, you'd have to have fucked up very severely as the bar to prove them is pretty high. Therefore if you're gonna mass hire muscle, best make sure there are tools to allow management to at least macro manage these guys. 2) Have bingus cook up the RICO act. Straightforward stuff. He'd have to weigh out the balance to ensure it's not powergame rape nonsense but still give it teeth. If you're gonna hire a fucking mong white shirt with a bat who selects hands instead of keys every time to then go represent your group in drug deals with potential lasting consequences, that's literally on those who hire. Rather than trying to run a zerg of brick grinders, rp with your new hires and thoroughly feel them out and train them. If the cops are so far up your ass that they're able to prove a RICO case against you that's literally a consequence of poor operational security. Bank sharing en masse? That's literally on your people. Murders in broad daylight? That's literally on your people. Your guys wearing your colors while felony maxxing in broad daylight (and probably doing it in your company car)? That's literally on your people. Having properties owned by a middleman to keep heat off the Don is good shit. Having businesses run by people not the Don is good shit. There are so many measures to take to prevent a RICO case that if it happens and totally dunks on your people it's not the fault of the police and courts for ripping your nuts off. 3) Da Fedz Ah yes I know what you're thinking: isn't this basically detectives+? Kind of but the difference would be that they explicitly would be limited in numbers (call it 5 for sake of balance) but given more legal powers to punish lazy or stupid factions. Being able to get records requests faster and easier, being able to expedite processes of seizure and suspension, and charges they bring coming with some significant fines and jail time for those on the other side of it. Will they be weaponized against disliked factions? No because it comes with the caveats: no former don characters, no characters over senior associate at all in any faction, preference for gov mains, and they aren't allowed to press city level charges only state (and possibly fed?) charges. The balance comes from their numbers. It forces the group to need to be on top of their shit and cull people who aren't doing their job. It would be meant for only the best of the best. The idea in my head is that there needs to be a legitimate threat to factions that aren't careful and enforcing careful operations. Having outside hit contracts, enforcing decorum, and being generally slick gives you nothing much to worry about. But opening yourself up for a colonoscopy should result in one being scheduled whether you want it or not. Thoughts?

This is going to rustle a lot of feathers. I see people using crosshairs from third party softwares very frequently in medal clips. This absolutely would fall under meta gaming. If someone is using a crosshair any PK should be voided and it should be punishable. Enough is enough!

+1 Gecko is an experienced player, and has been part of the community for a good while now. Having been in a few different factions with him, I know he has the ability to create some decent roleplay. The application could do with some more detail around the MCs backstory, but that shouldn't be the deciding factor in my opinion. Having two MCs, would be interesting and may allow the factions create some good roleplay between them. Overall, I think a second MC isn't a bad idea from a roleplay perspective, although my FPS disagrees with all of the above. - Dong
