Hello, recently while i was recruiting people i realized something and i think this could use a rule change. Its about buying the company car after getting into the faction WL, then leaving right after buying it and still being able to use it. ● If they have left the gang/family without approval from the leader, while holding the position of made man+ (or appropriate equivalent), they may be subject to a PK. Entry level associates who are not made or deeply committed to the organization may leave without harm as their position is low and they know very little. (Security, waiters, doormen, drivers, etc) <You will be asked to provide evidence of rank> This does not apply if they have partaken in felony criminal actions, drug manufacturing/murder/robbery/etc that are directly related to your faction (However these actions must be verified). Generally under most don's orders. I aint saying somebody who just joined a faction should get PK’d over some small/dumb reason at all. People got the right to change they mind and i %100 agree with it. But at the same time i really feel like this rule needs a lil update or something added onto it because the current system people are allowed to joining every faction WL, buys their company car without ever touching the drug racket, then just leaves and repeats the same thing over and over. Dude could literally collect cars from every faction and there is nothing against that. And there is also the fact u already get like 10k to 15k for a 30 min shift. You get the company car and WL because after the job you basically say “yeah i wanna stay as a employee” They make it clear from the start how you gonna be parth of something (legal/illegal doesnt matter). The whole point is even if u aint see anything illegal, that still dont justify taking the car and leaving. In my opinion there is 2 ways to make this make sense. Either add faction WL company cars into the same category as touching the racket, or give factions PK rights over somebody once they get trusted enough to access those faction assets which is directly related to a faction. Realistically speaking, we are roleplaying 1990 southside New York mafia type shit. If somebody comes into your business, works there for like a day, proves himself enough to get inside, gets trusted with a company vehicle and paid for his shift, then suddenly goes “nah i dont want to work with yall anymore” or just straight up disappears with access to faction assets. There is no way people would let that slide back in the 90's. Cause at the end of the day, the company car is still faction WL only and represents the company itself. Example: a couple days ago i hired like 4 people, took their info, put them on pager, got them recruited, handed them company cars and paid them 15k, told them “if you need anything just hit me up” and literally like 5 seconds after leaving they left the faction, started riding around the city with OUR company cars, spent the money and were already on their way to do the exact same thing to another faction. Because of this kind of move, cops or other people might start judging the faction just because of the company car situation, even if he’s not working for the company that gave it to him anymore. Or, without needing to add more PK reasons, just make the company car that belongs to the faction WL cant be accessed by people who is not in the WL anymore. Im not saying every little thing should lead to PK, but faction vehicles are faction assets too. If you trusted somebody enough to get him in the WL, that already means they were involved enough with the organization. Even If the recruiter doesnt explains the Illegal side of the faction, the game already makes it very clear when you try to join the WL as full time employee means getting involved in an illegal org. It literally tells you this isnt some safe clean path, it comes with risks, you might lose your character, and you gotta protect your goals while knowing all that from the start. Otherwise people can just abuse this and get as many cars from multiple factions as they want. Long story short, i really think making a change on this would be okey, wouldnt feel weird at all. If anyone took the time to read this, i appreciate it. Drop your own thoughts.

Hello, first of all i want to state i wasn't involved in the situation at all. But i wanted to argue that "Due to your behavior in the sit room, your punishment was needed to be bigger." You cant just extend somebody’s punishment based on the way they talk or the words they use. The only topic banned by UA here is “ERP”, besides that players aint obligated to respect nobody or talk all polite n proper. And considering the dude you banned is clearly not somebody who’d even raise NITRP suspicion, plus you literally admitted yourself that you extended the punishment because of his behavior, it’s kinda obvious the call you made wasnt really the right one. Now if the player bein disrespectful makes you wanna use your own judgement and hit him with the max punishment for the rule he actually broke, thats fully your right as staff. But you cant increase somebody’s punishment just cause they got emotional, mad, or started venting their feelings. I know you still pretty new to being staff and my intention aint to teach you your job or point fingers at your mistakes, I just wanted to respectfully say that I dont think the decision you made really lines up with the server rules. And in a situation this complicated and open to debate, where the player clearly wasnt intentionally doing RDM and doesnt even got a crazy record/history, banning him mainly because of the way he acted over the admin sit, just dont feel like the right move to me. Just wanted to put that out there. Wish both sides good luck on the appeal tho, much love n respect.

In-Game Name(s): Tyrone Slander, Liam "Akira" Keegan, Andy "Akira" Noburu Steam Name: secret Steam Profile Link: https://steamcommunity.com/id/xsfqnn/ Steam ID: STEAM_0:1:439522528 Discord Username: xsfqn Age: 21 When did you first join the server: 25 Aug 2024 Total playtime on our Servers (Do !time in-game): 1,300 hours (1 mo 3w 3d 6h 3m) Time Zone: GMT+3 How much time can you realistically dedicate to moderating?: 20+ hours weekly Have you read the rules?: Yes. Do you have a working microphone?: Yes. Do you acknowledge that you must meet the weekly minimum ticket quota of 20 tickets? (Unless you have posted a valid LOA): Yes. Are you familiarized with SAM and/or Nutscript commands?: Yes. Do you acknowledge that lying on this application will result in immediate denial and blacklisting from staff?: Yes. What is your motivation/reason for applying? I've been on the server for almost 2 years now. With summer coming up, I probably be spending most of my free time on Diverge. I always been curious about how things work behind the scenes, and I think becoming a staff member would be a great way to help the community. I've been part of this server for a while now and wanted to be part of the community in a different way whics is like a non-faction role. I finally hit the point where I don’t need to grind for cash all the time anymore at all, and I realized I can actually enjoy the RP. I have a lot of free time now instead of just grinding drugs/oils all day, and I wanna try becoming a staff member and try some new stuff along the way. Why should you be considered over other candidates? I think there are two main reasons that make me different from other candidates. First is the amount of time I can spend playing on the server. I usually play on Diverge for over 50 hours a week, so being active and handling tickets would not be a problem for me. Second thing is my timezone. There are times when staff might not be as available, especially very late or very early. Those dead hours are normal for me, so I believe I can help when support is needed the most. Do you have any previous staffing experience? Yes, I do. Back in 2017–2018, I had staff experience on Turkish DarkRP servers. I was a Helper on MoonRP and later an Admin on NarkozRP. Of course, compared to Diverge, those servers were much smaller and less serious, but they still gave me experience in dealing with players and handling staff situations. Have you been banned before on any of our servers? If so, why? Yes. To be honest, when I first joined Diverge, I did not fully understand how serious the server and its rules were. I acted immaturely at times, and because of that, I got banned more than once. Looking back at it now, I know I made mistakes. Over the last few months, I’ve been trying to improve myself by staying out of trouble, reading the rules again, and changing my behavior. Would you say that you are well known in our community? What is your reputation, and what do other members think of you? I would say some people know me in the community. If I have to honest, my reputation was not good in the past. I made a lot of mistake, and people had tons of reasons to think badly about me. And if I have to speak the truth, I gotta admit they were not wrong at all. I was bringing a lot of emotions and acting dumb, which was not necessary at all. But over time, I realized where I was wrong and tried to improve myself. I tried to stay active, respectful, and on my best behavior on the server, forums, and Discord. I hope people now see me as someone who has changed and matured, instead of an annoying guy. What is your favourite moment on Diverge so far? Without any doubt, the racket wars of ’89 and ’90 were some of my best moments on Diverge. Besides that, becoming a made man under Le Mob French and even simple moments like playing golf with Governor Winston Yu were some of my favorite memories on the server. Have any staff members recommended you? If so, list their names. No. I didn’t want to bother any staff members or ask anyone for recommendations for my application. Problem Solving Detail step by step exactly the actions you would take. Someone RDMs and you are currently off-duty. How do you handle this? If Im off-duty, I would handle it like any other normal player will do and create a ticket. I would not involve myself at all, other than that ill provide any evidence if i have any. The only exception would be if there were no other staff members online, and the person was seriously disrupting the roleplay, such as mass RDM. In that kinda situation, I would step in and try to handle it until other staff become online. You have seen a fellow staff member of higher or equal rank abusing fairly often, but never doing anything too obvious. What do you do? First, if the situation is not too serious, I would talk to the staff member privately and warn them about what I noticed. If they ignore it or continue doing the same thing, I would report the situation to a UA member and provide any evidence if i have. A friend or faction member has a ticket against them for RDM or minging. You know they normally don’t act like this. How do you handle it? Does it create bias? I always keep a clear line between friendships and business. If one of my friends or someone I know is breaking the rules, our friendship would not change how I act or how i handle the situation. I would deal with it fairly, based only on the evidence and what actually happened. If they were clearly in the wrong, I would take the correct decision and also talk to them afterward if its needed.
