Me and my buddies were using the stash, and more then just me got or attempted to be mug/stalked. I have clips of the same people attempting to mug others right after I was mugged, at that same stash. To my knowledge right outside of a stash is a no mugging zone, as I was still right in front of the stash. You'll see in the clip, the first one, the car goes by me, sees me at the stash, stops around the corner and waits for me to get in my car. Basically camped the stash spot, once they saw me at it and jumped on there opportunity the second I got in my car right in front of the stash. The last two clips were provided right after my situation at the exact same stash. Our faction is based on a real-world group (The Galician Mafia), meaning we will have ties to real-world history. In the 1970s, the Galician Mob began using fishermen to smuggle cigarettes through European borders and into Spain. With boats leaving from the US allowing for a state-based monopoly, the individuals stationed in New York will continue to do what their ancestors did before them, getting cocaine from New York and pushing it back out into the waters under the disguise of fishing. Through the 1980s, the pressure continued to rise on American drug markets and cartels. The Galician Mob continued to utilize these established routes, shifting their focus to more lucrative items such as money laundering and the infiltration of politics, individuals in power, and legal networks. Apparel The faction has the intention to wear a relaxed clothing scheme. We will not force our members to wear certain apparel, opening the door to individual diversity in terms of custom apparel, etc. However, at times we may wear suits during certain roleplay situations. Restaurant We’d like to turn the West Side Drug Store into our restaurant of choice. We have the intention of having the interior altered and changed for our purposes, as our faction has background ties to “fishing,” and we’d like to explore that side of the server in terms of fishing on the docks. Our intentions are angled toward the idea of fishing as a whole, as it ties into our background. Faction Goals Fishing wasn’t good enough for us—working too hard and getting not enough in terms of pay. We have the intention of distributing our racket through the city. Our goals consist of importing and exporting useful items through New York, making money, and possibly being in a position of power within the city. On a side note, we’d like to push out weekly fishing competitions highlighting the fishing side of New York. We aim to provide for our fellow fishermen and push forward the fishing community, whether that be giving out prizes and rewards to those who compete, or having a custom DUP for the area when we go through with it. Arguing in the thread doesn't help anybody's case. Just present the facts and let UA decide. Also, could've been helpful if you disclosed literally anything you claimed in your appeal in the sit. I spectated you for a sec to make sure you weren't actively engaged in RP, you were moving around, when I pulled you, you just sat like you were AFK. The suggestion is simple in concept but may be a bit of back end coding as I am not sure if there is an existing add on, but I saw a similar system on an existing gmod server (although I believe it was developed by that server network). From my limited knowledge it is already base settings that players can manipulate others props, and this can be stopped by specific servers. My suggestion (if possible) is to design a system that allows a player to do the above by a C menu option or something with two party consent so people can't be trolled. This should terminate on disconnect, manually via Q menu, or char swap. Each player should be able to manipulate each others props with all tools available while partner up. The reason I suggest this is many times, especially for more extensive dupes, it would be nice to build with 2 people but the limitations of that currently creates a larger headache than it would be worth. The constant need to keep track of which prop is who's and asking for them to manipulate their props makes current multiparty building not fun. If I am able to find a workshop add on that allows this system I will edit it in but my current research failed to do so. Not sure if it's possible by just adjusting server settings or if coding would be required as I am unaware of that technical side. Just wanted to throw this suggestion up as a possibility.

Members given the Capo role are trusted members of the organization (and if they're not you're a shit faction leader and a retard) they should be trusted by the Don to know who can and can't recruit and it shouldn't be strictly up to the Don to give this role out. Activity, timezones, and other issues can cause having only one person in a faction being able to give out the role a headache. If your HC can't be trusted to determine who can and can't be a recruiter without direct Don intervention then PK them and move on. This is such a retarded limitation.

I get it, factions hate each other for their own reasons. There's no way, and there shouldn't be a way, to prevent people from having their opinions right? The problem is that we've taken the hate outside of the RP. Nowadays the extent of Conflicts in the RP is shitposting on rumours. The extent of Conflicts outside the RP is people making cop characters to bring down the factions they don't like, people applying for staff only to help out their factions, targeted muggings just for the pk etc. We have such a good opportunity to use whatever feelings we have for another faction in RP but with the state of the server right now, when it comes to RP, factions just pretend that the others don't exist most of the time, and when they are in the same room it's just retarded Non-coherence. All RP goes out the door as slurs and modern slang fly from one side to the other. I guess I just miss how the server used to be.

Every faction has pretty much one consolidated goal: hire as many fucking retarded people as possible to grind bricks for the Don. They do this with limited consequences. You work the door for half an hour without any rp, maybe even less than that, then you're an oil bitch for a week or two before you get into drugs. These factions hire and don't punish some of the most questionable individuals that get caught every 10 min doing shit. The staggering amount of people who operate with little to no operational security, die, and come back in a week is mind blowing. Before this gets mass downvoted hear me out please. This isn't just a "buff pd nerf crims" post. If thought out and implemented correctly it can bring an increase in faction rp quality, gives prenatal Tylenol victims something to do, and ideally it would give dons and high command more faction management tools. 1) Implement a system for faction high command to control who gets access to drugs and/or guns. If we're gonna invite a chance that a faction can take some significant damage from poor opsec, it's best that they get the ability to pick and choose who of their people can partake in the activities most vital and dangerous to their continued existence. The meat and potatoes of a RICO case is establishing that a criminal enterprise exists and a pattern of crimes from the past present and planned future crimes. In order for a RICO case to work, you'd have to have fucked up very severely as the bar to prove them is pretty high. Therefore if you're gonna mass hire muscle, best make sure there are tools to allow management to at least macro manage these guys. 2) Have bingus cook up the RICO act. Straightforward stuff. He'd have to weigh out the balance to ensure it's not powergame rape nonsense but still give it teeth. If you're gonna hire a fucking mong white shirt with a bat who selects hands instead of keys every time to then go represent your group in drug deals with potential lasting consequences, that's literally on those who hire. Rather than trying to run a zerg of brick grinders, rp with your new hires and thoroughly feel them out and train them. If the cops are so far up your ass that they're able to prove a RICO case against you that's literally a consequence of poor operational security. Bank sharing en masse? That's literally on your people. Murders in broad daylight? That's literally on your people. Your guys wearing your colors while felony maxxing in broad daylight (and probably doing it in your company car)? That's literally on your people. Having properties owned by a middleman to keep heat off the Don is good shit. Having businesses run by people not the Don is good shit. There are so many measures to take to prevent a RICO case that if it happens and totally dunks on your people it's not the fault of the police and courts for ripping your nuts off. 3) Da Fedz Ah yes I know what you're thinking: isn't this basically detectives+? Kind of but the difference would be that they explicitly would be limited in numbers (call it 5 for sake of balance) but given more legal powers to punish lazy or stupid factions. Being able to get records requests faster and easier, being able to expedite processes of seizure and suspension, and charges they bring coming with some significant fines and jail time for those on the other side of it. Will they be weaponized against disliked factions? No because it comes with the caveats: no former don characters, no characters over senior associate at all in any faction, preference for gov mains, and they aren't allowed to press city level charges only state (and possibly fed?) charges. The balance comes from their numbers. It forces the group to need to be on top of their shit and cull people who aren't doing their job. It would be meant for only the best of the best. The idea in my head is that there needs to be a legitimate threat to factions that aren't careful and enforcing careful operations. Having outside hit contracts, enforcing decorum, and being generally slick gives you nothing much to worry about. But opening yourself up for a colonoscopy should result in one being scheduled whether you want it or not. Thoughts?

I mean, there's nothing stopping you from having conflict RP with another faction other than your own limitations. You have some drama with another factions? send some dudes down to their business and cause trouble. Drive by and shoot at the building / windows, making escalations get more heated to initiate sit downs etc. Nobody is stopping you from doing this, other than y'all being wimps.
