Maybe an addition i'd put on this suggestion would be fixed contract template items, rather than google docs like the typewriter uses For example, in City Hall there is a legal supplies vendor who sells contract templates, they could be: Sale/Purchase Agreement Lawyer Contract or probably a few other options- Then they are a nice IC template of a contract with places left out for Item Category/Money Amount etc. and then at the bottom Name and Signature of each party (auto filled via your char id upon signing) These can then be used via factions IC-ly to enforce missed fees for Lawyers, or missed payments on custom clothing or guns, and have a purpose in PK sits Could also be used in other Legal RP scenarios for things like Oil Coupons, Police ticketing, Fines, Bills at restaurants even I think it'd be cool, the more Diverge interactions that can be pulled away from a Google Docs tab the better imo

After spending a lot of time on Diverge Networks, I realized how much I genuinely enjoy helping improve the roleplay experience for others. I have staffed here before and I miss contributing to the server. I know how to handle situations calmly and without personal bias. I want to help new players, maintain immersion, and make sure everyone has a fun and fair experience. I want to give back to the community I have invested so much time into. Why should you be considered over other candidates? I am older and have more experience than most players in the community. I stay calm under pressure and handle every situation fairly. I held high command in multiple factions and I believe players would say I handled situations respectfully and calmly. I do not bring emotions into decisions. I keep the focus on fun roleplay and fairness. My reputation is that I am mature, helpful, and relaxed. What is your favorite moment on Diverge so far? My favorite moment was the July Fourth musket battle event. It brought players together, created a lot of laughs, and boosted community engagement. I enjoy events that unite the playerbase and increase interactions. These types of moments make the server memorable and help keep the community active. I would enjoy helping plan community events like that again. Have any staff members recommended you? If so, list their names: N A Problem Solving Someone RDMs and you are currently off duty. How do you handle this? I would contact an on duty staff member and explain what I witnessed. If no one is available, I would switch to my staff character and handle it. I would gather both sides of the story and review any proof. If the situation requires a higher ranking staff member, I would document everything and report it through the correct channels. You have seen a fellow staff member of higher or equal rank abusing fairly often, but not doing anything extremely noticeable. What do you do? I would gather evidence, such as video clips or screenshots, and then privately report it to a higher ranking staff member. I would not accuse them without proof. I would remain professional and follow procedure. A member of your faction or a friend of yours has a ticket made against them, accusing them of RDMing and minging. You know this person rarely does this. How do you proceed and does it create a possible bias? I treat the ticket like any other. I request evidence from both sides and compare it to the server rules. Friendships do not change how I handle staff duties. If I feel bias might exist, I request another staff member to handle the ticket. Fairness always comes first.

I thought it would be cool and much more "Mafioso", that in each crime family, street gang has an hitman who is sent by the Don and faction's superiors to kill the target, such as someone who has betrayed the agreements or someone from the enemy family or anyone who makes mistakes. But rightly the hitman must be given various information and must be sent ONLY FOR VALID REASONS.

on cool old server we had two features that helped combat this: - when you switched to a gun in your weapon wheel it would start on safety and depending on the type of gun (big rifles had longer timer), it had a short delay on how quickly you could unsafety it, to mimic the time it would take to actually grab it and raise it - progress bar on equipping/unequipping weapons in inventory (a few seconds) if you guys put aside your own subjective opinions, features like these despite seemingly small would absolutely go a long way in increasing RP quality. It would force people into enhancing interactions, instead of resorting to taking someones head off if they look at you funny. Always been an advocate for this, and so should you all.

If you are a staff member and you comp every ticket you get you should not be a staff member The best immediate answer is staff training and punishments for staff who are too lazy to investigate tickets fully- including not noting perps of rulebreaks

Have you been active in recent months? As long as you have a good understanding of the current server then I'm sure you'd be good! On the other hand your play time is generally low compared to some staff apps

I always thought it would be nice to have a server that is sort of like the build server accept, its sole purpose would be for players to test out the different weapons on the server and generally practice pvp. This could also be good for reducing random gunfights happening when people get bored (iykyk). could also be good for events.

You were participating in a mugging pipeline with 2 other people. Simply put, killem (iirc thats his steam name, I dont have the file readily available rn) was mugging a bunch of people on chars that were brand new, across multiple characters. Then, he would put the spoils into a bank account connected to you and one other person. Then, he would be added to the account on a new character and continue. This is an obvious case of you participating and benefitting from a guy using throwaway chars that have no value to mug people. Those accounts will be cleaned out of all custom items that were mugged before you return from your ban.

Could also open up some cool attachments like weapon slings or something to decrease draw time etc? I think adding more to the gunplay, especially now attachments are back, would be great. I also think gun bags should show on your back, but not class as probable cause for a search by police Otherwise you can be interacting with a guy who has a whole AK stuffed in his trouser pockets, as far as you're aware

Hi I was the staff member who administered this ban - For one, you blatantly powergamed, dropping a brick of marijuana at the door step of a property, and running away - I have the clip that shows you did not immediately pick this up, I will post that should it be necessary once I am home. You also continued this behaviour after the fact, in the ghetto. Secondly, you were RDM'ing when I was spectating your play afterwards, something you claimed was okay as you 'knew the person' you killed - I was lenient and downgraded this to a NITRP, which was exceptionally fair considering your extensive notes for RDM. When it comes to your ban time, I had spoken to a Seasoned Admin about this case, and asked for some advice on the severity of the situation. With his advice, aswell as another member of staff, I decided on 5 days - Due to your extensive notes and your insistence that I 'only ban you for a day' as a favour, it felt like you needed some time to truly consider the consequences of your actions. You have gained an impressive wrap sheet in a very short time - I suggest you spend the remaining 4 days considering what it means to provide valuable roleplay to the server, and reading up on the rules. I said your behaviour wasn't malicious, you were ignorant to the rules, and that is okay. You told me you believed there were 10 people who enjoyed the roleplay, which cancels out the people who reported it, and that they'd join you in a staff report. Feel free to open that report if you see fit, I am sorry you are unhappy with my responses

Your ban was unrelated to IC law, and was to do with your server rule breaks. I apologize for a lack of clip to show you, but your sprees are findable in logs, and your own ban dispute details quite well that you broke the rules. As specified - your PTSD roleplay is not a valid reason to engage in conflict. I don't believe you did this maliciously, and I'm sure you will hopefully have learnt from this experience, and be able to provide better, rule-aligned RP in future.

Hey, I am the staff who handled this ban I had decided on this due to the evidence shown in the logs that shows you raiding multiple times within too short of a time frame, as well as using a new character who has not provided any considerable roleplay, value or time to the server. I had advised you to look into the killing/mugging/raiding rules and ensure you understand them a bit better before doing so again in the future, as well as building more value to the character you are using. Otherwise, you are avoiding the risk that is integral when deciding to attempt to steal or kill another player. I had also sought advice from other staff to help with my final decision. An additional factor in your ban was your own claim that you went to raid these properties to get back at your previous faction, who you had been PK'ed on. I understand that you believe your conversation was roleplay, but when it is matched with the facts of your very recent PK, it paints a picture that your decision to raid was based on a desire for revenge. - I am unable to attach a clip for this, unfortunately, due to the ESP information within it.
