Yellow Zone does not nullify the fact that an NPC is watching. Not to mention ME, who was not yet under Fear RP. You may NOT mug in front of NPCs as they are considered witnesses in RP. You may not bypass this rule by attempting to 'pull them away under FearRP in front of an NPC. Do not target people using NPCs/ATMs/Stashes. This includes camping. AND Use this map as a general guide to understand where you can mug on the spot and where you can initiate a mug when no one is around to pull them into a secluded area / empty building. The goal of this image is to help reduce fail mugs. Whether or not IT was legitimate originally was not the issue for me ICly. I had ONE guy wagging a gun in front of me and I waited for an opportunity to draw my gun on Safety, idle, to avoid a mug and assess the situation. If I am under Fear RP, I am going to fear for my life. The situation was chaotic so I waited for the guy in front of me to slip up and see if he was going to say anything. I found my opportunity to pull on Safety and he clearly decided to blow me away to send me to the hospital and get me out of the way of his mugging. Whether it was a legitimate mug, which I still don’t believe it was, I DEFINITELY was not part of it YET and somehow I was killed anyways. Rules should matter. Me and a guy 15-20 feet away having our own spat only vaguely related to that mugging. You can’t just shoot a guy who is witness to a mugging. You need to get him under Fear RP to mug us as a group or wait until there’s no witnesses.

At 17 seconds they issue a command and promptly shoot me in the head to remove me from the scenario to continue mugging the other guy. Now, to the larger point- I made about 8 or 9 Failmug tickets with the clip below showing these facts attached, but nobody took that ticket before issuing the PK. I wasn't even pulled to a sit. The ONE guy who had a gun out near me did not issue a command until my gun was out. I am not Sonny. I am not a DeCavalcante. Plus, there's an NPC right next to where Sonny got mugged. I made a handful of Failmugging tickets and none were taken before the PK was issued. Nobody even looked at my clip. Nobody watched or reviewed our clips or information. In real life I am fucking lame and in this City I am a cool kinda guy. Bad argument. Stamped or embossed. Anyone who has handled a gun would be able to at least know what goes with what so long as they have no serious brain damage.

This will never happen because the “legal RP” for the people who take that route is almost exclusively done in Pager from my experience. What a fucking nightmare.

I’d say a rebalance of the vehicles or whatever Canadian is touching on would be best. A blanket nerf would be a decent temporary fix for balancing, I guess, but really isn’t the most effective. People already sprint faster than your car’s acceleration at times and some other shit. I believe you’re spoiled by super fast cars and you likely don’t hit the pavement much daily with such a heavy handed stance.

FiveM codes but honestly some small process aside from just sitting in cells would be nice. Gives cops more to do.

Did you know that we are playing a video game? The entire server has, long ago, been allowing teenagers to hold positions in all manner of high stress positions. Bosses of legitimate companies, police, criminal faction leaders, etc. My honest suggestion is to grow the fuck up and get over it. Kids also find it odd to hang out with grown ass men online and they aren’t necessarily wrong for feeling that way. RP is supposed to mean we only let enough bleed in to hold ourselves to a basic standard of decency when playing with younger people and we don’t do weird shit when kids are around and keep weird shit to a minimum because they could be around at anytime. Many adults have a hard time with this but we have to deal with it and cope so just get in line. That’s what being online and RPing on a game will always entail until you go join 18+ and 21+ RP servers which still aren’t perfect and are usually full of degenerates who replace real life with RP. So, pick your poison.

As a crim main who will never EVER play a cop outside of learning how the system works and then deleting it. (Which probably is against the rules so I’m likely never going to do it.) I think as long as there’s paperwork, it’s somewhat restricted (i.e. you can’t just idle around for half a day in plain clothes hoping to catch anything you can), and you still can tell it’s a cop when you get up close and see their name, there should be plainclothes detectives. I don’t know how it works now. Does it hide their name out of uniform? What ARE the restrictions that are so bad? You shouldn’t have your hands tied so badly that this is an issue we all agree on.
