I have a job. I can tell you don't do anything meaningful in your day to day and your time isn't valuable enough to take anything seriously. But RP is a hobby of mine and why I chose to join a semi-serious/serious RP server. There is no OOC in the game. If there was, I would also participate in it. But when I first started and tried, it was made abundantly clear to me that the rules dictate ZERO OOC. It's baked in. We receive notes, warns, bans, etc. for that behavior. Why and how exactly are YOU so fucking cool that the rules don't apply to you, @String? Who the fuck made you Coolest Baddest Motherfucker That Rules Don't Matter For? Last I checked, you aren't a shot caller or anyone of influence in any faction and you definitely don't strike me as someone who has a serious busy life Out of City so where exactly do you get the audacity to come at me sideways? People like you are what this post is made to highlight. Toxic, troublesome, retarded people who think they're above the rules and who think the social contract doesn't exist for whatever he decides. Yeah, if it's too much effort, it's not worth the squeeze- I will always understand that fundamental aspect of suggesting ideas. But if it's easy, it's something I'm surprised already doesn't exist. Kind of shocked you're not for it. This frees up the text box for RP and minimizes the spam of OOC that caused the global OOC to be taken away. LOOC having a WOOC (I titled the post OOCW but WOOC makes more sense due to the formatting of LOOC) means that much OOC banter/chat is tucked away on top of protecting certain OOC information you don't want shared with everyone around you. Maybe I don't want the guy in the next room to know that I'm leaving for work but I do want the guy next to me to. I know "Pager" is a big element and tie-in to the City but I figured encouraging people to stay locked-in and not constantly DM people on Discord to convey messages out of character.

Clearly, we have a fundamental disagreement with what should and shouldn't be openly shared in the middle of Roleplay. The entire point of this suggestion is so that we are not publicly sharing Pager information. The person's personal Discord is obviously included with that. Especially since text goes through walls/floors.

P.S. I am not going to start complaining and making player reports in Discord or the Forums. Trying to do @ reports already gets me ignored and mocked for just trying to play legit. And I hate snitching. Hate gathering evidence. Hate the whole process. It's not why I'm here. My hopes are some of you will find that spark and log in for the sauce once again.

Can we please RP again? Cut it out with your "cousins" somehow "hearing" about the beef you have with people? Cut down the harassment and chalked up, fabricated reasons to beef. Explosives already exist. Extremely risky and extremely rare/near impossible to get your hands on. They only show up, from my experience, when conflicts heat up. They require Admin permission to even use, from my understanding. -1 because it already exists

Buddy, you can 100% pick up unconscious bodies. What are you even saying? The speed still decreases for the killer who carries a body. He wants the same thing to happen for unconscious people, who can still be dragged like they always have been able to. How exactly am I supposed to DM somebody that I don't know, on the fly, to convey something that's OOC (such as a DIscord invite)? Or explain that "Pager" means "Discord" without others seeing or having it clog up the text that has people RPing? I don't want to have to use languages to say OOC shit privately near people. My character is not saying or thinking those things. I propose implementing an Out of Character Whisper so we can exchange sensitive information/reminders OOCly to people near us that others cannot overhear and abuse for metagame/abuse. Things like "pager"(Discord) invites are primarily what I'm thinking but there are other examples I can't drum up on the spot. Please consider, my friends. Thank you all for reading.

Last couple times this got shot down, the vehicles were a very different beast. It’s time to implement this since we went this route with vehicles adding cost to character and vibing “realism”.

Looking back, absolutely your actual age shouldn’t affect this concept but it should be a blank slate that stacks up to maybe 150-200 years resulting in a PK. Maybe you can hard mode by setting “prison years” as a character creation dynamic.

Shittor, Martin Riggs, and for some time- Maggie Finch Mostly cops get the biggest reputations because they get to practically kill with impunity and make huge waves in the community by murdering important figures in confrontations without the risk of dying. Pretty big deals.

You don't believe an elder would or should think two or three times before doing the same crime as a younger person? This increases immersion and makes the age a viable and meaningful mechanic. The whole point of consequences of crimes is to deter people from committing them or inspiring them to commit them smarter. And if age isn't going to be useful for anything, then we should just be able to change it on the fly or reset it at the hospital, which many of us have asked for. Either age matters IC or it don't matter.

Yeah the repair shop should come with some sick options or even transfer some NPC shop options so that they must be attained at IC garages to up RP and gatekeep upgrades behind having to actually have positive interactions with others.

This idea makes too much sense and means that people playing in bad faith have to actually face consequences for their behavior. Very troubling suggestion. +1
