More AI slopoligies that seem like it’s written for a corporate email.

I’m pretty sure all he gets in karate class is blue balls.

I’ve seen this before. It seems you were launched, exploded, and died. Hope this helps.

Whether you're kidding or not, I don't think you understood what I said.

No lethal on some D&D shit. Not a bad idea. Maybe E+R to put my fists on “safety” so instead of clobbering a brain to cave it in, I’m doing karate chops and shit. I don’t know, I’m only half serious but I do mean that you should be able to nonlethally K.O. Someone. Maybe they hop back up super weak which may convince them to fuck off because you could easily swap to a haymaker and threaten to finish them like Mr. Miyagi at the end of the original Karate Kid.

Even though you took an indirect shot and I don’t like your outlook, I do agree that adding this to maybe cut down your processing time could be good. 5 minutes if I’m just chilling but maybe half as long if I’m willing to go hands-on and play the “mini game” or whatever. This COULD actually affect RP and make it to where I go back and fourth between guarding my shit and actually then focusing on breaking it all down. With W for example; auto-trimmed buds IRL are decent enough but there’s nothing quite as good as a hand trimmed bud. Maybe you can even make a bit more money or get extra for hands-on processing? Don’t mean to overcomplicate it but it could be an okay OPTION.
-
I imagine processing in the laundry spindle similar to putting buds in an automatic trimmer or sifting rocks from a brick of H/C, etc. it’s actually pretty hands off. And most of us are trying to grind through processing while balancing other shit, so why force us to have to interact the entire time? It’s not enhancing RP, just busy work to game-ify the process and make it so you can’t just relax and focus on guarding your stuff. I’m pretty against this. Processing is fine. Changes to it? I’m not opposed. But making me actually work once I’ve already done the busy work and now I’m doing the work to break it down and you want MORE? How often do you really touch bricks because godDAMN I’m gonna just start fishing if I’m forced to fiddle with any more shit just to get paid.

Ok, pickle sniffer. Clearly, you know it all and have it all figured out. Good luck.

The Dixie Mafia in NYC makes absolutely no sense. Seeing how many white boys on here wanna LARP as black dudes is sad as fuck, too. Proper black gangs like Decepticons or BlackSpades, maybe even Junior Mafia could be good IF RAN RIGHT. But God knows it'll just be you guys running around cringe as fuck saying the n-word and shooting people too quickly. (Not that it's particularly unrealistic.) These gangs are the ones who became the NYC Bloods and Crips in the mid 90's and in the late 70s and 80s is when they were taking over New York petty crimes.

Showing if someone had a weapon out, had shot a weapon, had lockpicks, etc. would be good. It's called FORENSICS. Tells you what the person was doing when they died just as much as how they died. Gives you a clear idea of what happened and why. Which is supposed to be the point of an investigation...

You are held to the same standard as every single one of us, you mentally lazy fuck.

Glasses and hats are messed up on so many models it’s insane.

I gotta say, I have not been in this server super long- but I have been very active; active enough to have seen plenty of Maggie Finch and the quality of RP this player brings. While generally friendly and decent inside the context of RP interactions, I have seen blatant examples of character-crossing metagame type action. Also, let's be frank- bleeding hearts are not very good at content moderation. Metagaming will go rampant and moderation will be based on fee-fees rather than actual rules that matter. Nobody wants to have their tone, language, and irrelevant bullshit moderated. I can see clear as day that you would participate in these bias activities just based on the small power flexes I've seen you make in Legacy. Just look at the past Player Reports on this individual. It's sad to say this, because I feel she gets *some* unwarranted flak but then I see some retaliatory or even initial behavior that makes feel much less sympathetic/empathetic. tl;dr abso-fucking-lutely not. Sorry, babe.

This would be amazing. We already build as many simple mechanical arcade machines that we can; a proper virtual video game arcade cabinet (or several) would be great. Leave the loading ROMS up to us and let us use MAME or whatever is available on the market already; I'm not sure what limitations exist but whatever we can get done would be glorious for RP and just for general fun.

I used to RP on Graal and this is how typed text shows on that game. I love the idea. It’s a big change but a positive one. Many scenarios nothing should show, obviously,( like ads/rumors and whispers) but otherwise… ace idea. (Edit: I specifically only mention Graal because it’s a 2D game and the text was rather “intrusive” in nature, as it obstructed the screen; yet it still worked very well. Seeing people’s text (and there was a cut off after a couple sentences) over their head was a gift. You could also change the font/size client-side. Plenty of 3D games I’ve RP’d on have this and it works perfectly fine. A preview shows up over the character’s head and you easily match it with the text box. It’s a no brainer.)

Yeah, now that I know better, this isn't a bug. At this point, more just echoed a suggestion to add something like this. Thanks for your replies, guys.

Sometimes, the grind is just incredible like that. I get complete tunnel vision. I understand it's a bit of a dumb mistake to make. I'm just saying, once I realize the product won't finish and I cut it too close, I should be able to at least pick up my processor. It's not like I made a poor roleplay decision; it's a limitation of the game and the system. I'm only trying to increase quality of life for players and minimize losses for simple mistakes. I understand not everything is easy to implement/change but it's worth exploring to me, considering this isn't the first time I've heard of this happening. (It's just the first time it's happened to me.)

I like the idea of losing your trigger finger and not being able to shoot anymore. Makes it a real consequence, as long as the system isn't abused. (It will be and you're right.)
-
Is this intentional? I know I should have paid more attention, but I was on the grind with laundry and ended up having product stuck in the wash right before restart. Lost my processor and my product. Real serious bummer. If this isn't intended, and we are supposed to be stopped from processing during restart, that measure seems to be broken or at least glitched to where the server ate mine up. I couldn't pick up the processor or anything to prevent it once I saw that my product wouldn't finish before the last minute ended. Now, I'm stuck skiing out to barge and taking a loss on my trade. Sad day.

I already roleplay getting gas. Don’t need some annoying feature forcing me to do it more than is necessary.

Mansion area becoming a public pool and larger recreational park where more crime and seedy shit can happen would be tight. Maybe a cozy waterfront end, a parking lot that leads to tunnels, and a public pool and other entrance where the regular entryway to the mansion is. Just food for thought. Good place for deals, mugging, hiding out, whacking fools. Maybe a wooded thicket with diggable areas to hide and bury bodies. Etc. Just like a proper “seedy park with recreations” area instead of a big sexy eyesore nobody can utilize without being rich/connected.

Surprised this doesn’t exist.

There is a better saying than the old, “if you can’t do the time,” adage that you recall and it’s relevant to this specifically. “You can beat the rap but you can’t beat the ride.” Only in very recent times are people on “catch and release” or only cited and walked. In these times, unless you only earn a ticket, you take the ride. The station processes you and figures out if you’re worth making any charges stick while trying to make you feel like you’re dirt. It’s to discourage you from breaking the law again, especially if it’s a mundane one.
