Does anyone/did anyone actually think you’re funny for that?

In "real life" the "mob" makes most of their money from EXTORTION and always has. There's basically no actual way to implement this in game. It would mean a player controlled segment of society getting bent over for white collar crimes. Noone in a video game is dedicated enough to the RP struggle to get fucking visited every Sunday to pay 10% of their completely legitimate candy store. Get real.

The age should definitely be a tillable area just like description. If you guys don’t wanna do birthdays and have us age as time goes then let us at least do our own thing and set our ages. People sometimes tweak their characters to fit things better; many of us/most have done it. Being able to set age wouldn’t affect anything but being able to age properly in RP.

These are literal children or mental retards making these posts. I’ve seen violent dits and drug addicts talk like this right before they get that “last chance”. Spoiler, they always do something horrible and usually quickly. You people are here to troll. Get real. You don’t give a fuck. You have nothing better to do than ruin other people’s good time. What a fucking mess. Maybe learn how to RP and what these factions are before playing around drunk in and out of game trying to exploit the system for your gain. Not just trying to be a jerk but look at how you lash out at others here and take little shots at the community/people involved just because you don’t want to take responsibility for your own actions. Actions you’ve admitted to yet walk back multiple times and try to put off on other people you’re attempting to lean and put pressure on OOC. Super disrespectful and just shows your character IRL/outlook toward a game you WILLINGLY participate in. These guys have the patience of saints to deal with people crawling back like this throwing toxic sludge every direction just to see what can stick and maybe corrode the rules just enough so they can slime their way back in. Just like the real world, kids, don’t go joining gangs unless you want to maybe face an early retirement.

Things are always changing so how about just roleplay and try to be smart? Some of these tips in the meta game are ok but maybe it is better to have newbie criminals who haven’t been given orientation from a faction fall into the newbie trap. There’s always going to be a learning curve, either way, and the goal post will never stop moving as features are added/changed. Just don’t treat it like real life, leave your ego at the door, play your character somewhat seriously if you actually care, and don’t be too upset when/if you die or lose shit. Even the best of us take Ls or make dumb choices. A Sicilian proverb comes to mind. “Unu sbagghiu si po’ perdonare, ma du’ è ‘na scusa.” (“One mistake can be forgiven, but two is an excuse.”) This implication is that making the same mistake twice shows carelessness or intention, which is less forgivable, even if at times we play tongue-in-cheek (I know some people take this less seriously, even. I know it’s not real fucking life.) It aligns well with Mafioso culture’s emphasis on accountability and learning from errors. So, it fits to keep a clear head in character AND out.

This is seriously overdue. No clue why it’d be rejected. Do we have to donate for basic shit like this to be added? It’s a no brainer.
