Lots of models are bugged I’d be shocked to see fixes

We should make our own Divergian version of these by editing this source material into IC papers and spreading them with typewriters. I’m sure that’s kinda the point of this but we can do less direct ripping and make it a fun project. I know one of my characters would be willing to do a gaming zine as a hobby

Computers have always existed to take away mundane or redundant and time consuming jobs. There was a time people couldn’t wait to be replaced because we thought the economy would balance it out. That… does not seem to be the case.

I hope to never learn who this dude is in game. The urge to metagame and find a reason to hate him would be crazy but I have a sneaking suspicion he could earn it naturally and that I probably already do.

I guess I just don’t understand the rules for this “war”. I thought PK was not a possibility when you exhaust efforts to find someone and they’re inside. We have fully discussed potential raids for targets (if/when targets are stacked) and have been fully prepared for raids from opposition when we are suspected to have targets harbored in our own. We never thought PKs or bans would even be discussed as a result of this. Unreal, the AFK farm prevails. Very cool event. A conflict escalated from OOC issues turned into a shoddy and ill-conceived war, with harsh punishments for violating flaky rules. +1 this guy wrote the fucking rulebook on Mob RP. Anyone supporting this should be ashamed.

I guess I just don't understand gmod or props enough, cause I gathered a large list of props and they either weren't available for whitelist or they were too illegal w/ item counterparts so they denied it due to potential metagame/powergame/police issues. I wanted to be able to at least have some drugs broken down for use in a private setting. I was willing to take the hit if I got caught with weed props or whatever. I don't see how it's any different than spawning crates full of guns or whatever, but eh... whatever. Good luck getting some new props put in. I love using them for RP.

First time I met this guy, he OOC ranted at me about how everyone hates him because of his "rape list". I kept trying to correct course toward IC chat but he just couldn't stop talking about the server, his characters, and how everyone metagames him. He's young, from what I can tell, but that doesn't excuse the fact that he doesn't seem to learn or stray from his victim complex. I think RP isn't your thing, OP. Maybe find a new hobby and good luck in life. -1

I cannot believe my Car Wash topic keeps getting hung up on my mention of getting gas. Plenty of RPs *require* it. It’s just a habit of modern Roleplay to me.

I took a roll call in chat on more than one occasion, curious if anyone does it. A few people said no, of course; some said it’s be cool if they *had to* and a couple said they only do it from time to time. It’s especially a good excuse to pull off the road if PD are screwing around. But, more than a few said that they do this act on occasion, period. No lies told. The idea holds just as much merit of that wasn’t the case, imo. The technical aspect and the usefulness versus just flavor are the main valid points you’ve had, which I did address. Realistically, limitations or “too much work for not enough gain” is more than a valid enough reason to dismiss a Car Wash. But it’s worth a shot. More than a few people liked the idea before I pitched it and a few like it here, so outright dismissal is uncalled for.

Yeah, this isn't for people like you who don't roleplay. Thanks for your trash opinion, though. Might wipe my ass with it later.

Part of my suggestion would have included cars getting dirty/requiring a minigame to actually scrub it, but I shy away from it due to the fact that the engine/game has so many limitations. I'd rather let them decide whether it'd be solely RP or if it could be an actual game element. I'm fine with either/or.
