As much as I want to disagree, I actually do believe that the community should be able to police minges themselves. Not determine what is/isn’t quality RP (which is what staff is for) but when things get very obvious or when people purposely break NLR, we shouldn’t be punished for dealing with people trying to ruin our RP and be forced to make reports and shit. Editing, uploading, waiting, play being stopped to make it all happen- the shitters get to dictate and control the flow of RP in their own way while rule abiding LARPers get the shit end of the stick. Find a way to punish them easier. Put it in our hands. Most of us RP it anyways and deal with any potential consequences of community clean-up, so let us take the shot since we carry the burden. That way, anyone who is baiting and makes his OWN tickets can be handled all at once when we have proof of their minging and there’s logs for their NLR etc

He gets a bad rep but he's not that bad. Had some half decent RP with him and other times he's a bit heavy with the OOC bleed. I can't bring myself to hate him the same way a lot of people do. Hopefully you're not super serious here cause generally he seems to try and follow the rules at least. Plus, he's saved my ass from the NYPD before. Don’t go chasing your tail trying to appease every person whose path you cross. Not a single person on this planet is able to make everybody happy. Different people, different worlds, different ideas of right and wrong. Just do your best to listen for an inner dialogue and try to move in good faith. As you grow and mature, the work of your hands will show itself and people will see a natural change in you. Just don’t get complacent; it’s the cousin of complicity in poor deeds and poor form.

Regardless of the zones painted on the OLD map, NPC placement supersedes the old zones painted on the mugging map. Plus, this is just to be considered in the other clusterfuck of mistakes these muggers won't own up to and what was blatantly disregarded and ignored without being looked at before the PK was issued. It's easy fro staff to PK a character that isn't theirs and be so blase about it but I know if it were them they'd scream failmug and point out the same things I did. You don't down your gun or turn away from someone you're trying to mug and you need to give clear instructions. That remains the foundation of my argument- I wasn't even under Fear RP. I just think the actual mugging being invalid should be *considered* as a potential factor. Meaning there's several issues here, which should have been considered BEFORE a PK was just forced on me in this stupid ass situation.

I have been urged to show the evidence that also might prove this as a complete failmug from the get-go due to NPC witnesses. That is not the foundation of my initial argument, but really just goes to show how poorly executed the initial mugging was. This could have gone down as a proper and legit mugging if it had been coordinated better and I had two guys on me and the one guy hadn't turned/dropped his gun and had given clear demands/commands to me. However, this whole thing may be invalid. Here are the arguments presented:

Good thing I pulled my gun out before the guy in front of me issued any commands. Plus, if they had been coordinated better and weren’t spazzing out, running all around like speds and shouting in Discord (just a guess but probably 100% correct) then they outnumbered us and could’ve put 2 armed men per person which would’ve put us under Fear RP anyways. I am not above taking a mugging on the chin but unfortunately everyone spazzes out and uses chaos to shoot first and get bodies dropped before asking questions later. State of play.

You didn’t make any demands of me. You turned away/pole down when I pulled my gun, which I waited for- just in case, and you made a command AFTER I had it pulled. Argue til you’re blue. I know the facts and that they were talking to Sonny and that I wasn’t involved. Only one dude on me wasn’t commanding me, 15-20 feet from everything. This PK is completely bogus. My failmug ticket was ignored, my video/perspective wasn’t taken into consideration, and my PK was issued before my ticket was closed. Unless an Admin asks for more information from me, which I doubt, I’ve stated my truths. I’ll wait for a response and pray for fairness.

So, you admit that I wasn’t the target and was just a witness. And the argument that you issued commands to me and never dropped your gun are outright lies. Grow up and learn to play in good faith rather than lying for a kill.

Slips up so I’m able to pull my gun ON SAFETY which was my entire intention because I did not yet assess the situation. Even still, I’m an idle threat and wasn’t put under Fear RP nor given time to comply with any demands (demands that weren’t even given to me!) so it’s kind of funny how the issue is being so horribly conflated and details are being outright LIED about.
