The discouragement is the important part. We don't want to enforce what they can and cannot wear, we just want to make it so that they can't blame somebody for shooting the wrong guy within something like a 15 second window (I know I said 45 seconds, that's moreso meant for situations that go on longer with a persisting problem of seeing and unseeing that target) for trying to mug or kill him, when the other person is literally an identical twin. Usually, that doesn't get counted as RDM, even if it results in a comp, however, we want to put it on paper that things like these happen, people make mistakes, and people get the wrong targets sometimes. The whole point is, reason to believe based on the circumstances. Nobody's supposed to be able to get away with shooting a random with a different color of pants but the same shirt, I'm talking about very minute details, like facial bodygroups from the closet or rings/wristwatches.

When during a gang war or other violent confrontation, but propose specifically because of the last racket war, people wear the same kind of outfit, and you just saw your target, or if you just saw somebody in the exact same getup open fire on you, and moments later (seemingly) that same person comes up and you gun them down, let that be an ICly valid situation instead of RDM, only when; - Their faces are covered up or identical; - Their outfits are identical or incredibly similar, with the most prominent differences being a ring, wristwatch or a bandana on the head - Within 45 seconds, to within one minute and a half, this second person was identified as the first, mistakenly, and it is either reasonably believable to staff, or ON VIDEO (If the person who got shot in a "Reason to Believe" scenario had a clip that would imply no involvement with the person the killer was after, then they must be comped, and staff will see if it qualifies as random or Reason To Believe) Pros: this reduces the effectiveness of wearing ambiguous, uniform clothing during racket wars or other violant confrontations, diversifying the crowds and allowing for identification of the target more easily, reducing RDM. Cons: This means a faction uniform or another person wearing a near identical or completely identical look, including their face, is going to be subject to being shot randomly.

There are going to be an abundance of people who truly believe they are just in the game, having fun, and he is one of those people. A self eliminating community is unhealthy, and diverge needs to make a tolerance for such people like trigger; we build icons here, left and right, and they last a while, but then something drastic has to happen where they get perma'd over something incredibly dumb, and I believe this is one of those cases Please, without spending in excess of TWENTY FUCKING TIMES the cost of gmod, allow this man to return and bring us the whimsy he did when he was here

I understand that my opinion is going to be unpopular, and incur not least a few slurs or angry ramblings, but I believe that Dan Alfredo served wonderfully as a roleplayer in this server. EVEN IF, he's a cop main, which I assume is why people are continuing to shit on his appeal as though he actually did something grave and unforgiveable, there's no reason for this to affect your view on him as a person. He was excellent in what he did, and where he was banned over, was nothing, and will never amount to even a drop of water compared to the literal boiling oceans of diverge playercount. I say boiling, because gmod itself is shrinking, and we don't need to shrink it any further. I believe forgiveness can be afforded to him, as he himself reached out to me and wanted me to actually give his Mr. X suits (I owe him when they come out) to Daniel K. Park, which tells me he had incredible loyalty to this server in spite of what happened to him. This server is absolutely worth appealing for, and this man is absolutely worth letting back in to do as he's always done.

I am absolutely aware of how retarded this event is but the stupider something is the more fun it usually is; naturally this would require approval from the factions in chinatown For two hours tomorrow, or on the next available sunday, turn Chinatown into a warzone styled with Cold War weapons only! - All comps included (Ideally, turn off weapon loss for the 2 hours) - Police would act as the G.I., the rest of the server would be Viet Cong - Every innocent death is not only an RDM, but a point for VC - Tear Gas, shooting prisoners and no charges allowed during those two hours - Allow the Destructicopter to be used (destructible prop helicopter) - NO USING CARS IN KAMIKAZE OR TO DRIVE INTO CROWDS, THIS IS ANNOYING!!! Whichever side wins doesn't matter in the slightest, the point is just to get some action going and see bullets flying!

there's a certain speed you can go as a human organically, it won't look natural if a tiny fella goes 20% slower just cuz he's shorter unless he's a dwarf, but there STILL has to be debuffs so

5.5 being the medium 7 being max height 4 being minimum 5.5 foot medium: 1.0 scale walk speed, jump height, health 4 foot: 0.8 health scale, 0.9 walk speed, 0.9 jump height 7 foot; 1.15 health scale, 1.05 walk speed, 1.05 jump height strength will remain the same, we don't need to give minges any more buffs The reason a suggestion like this would help, is to discourage absurdly tiny playermodels for the sake of PVP advantage, encouraging more average or taller player heights and reducing the sweat

this is quite literally one of the worst guys if not the worst guy to learn from, the serbian guy from supreme, but if you're willing to take the time to really learn how to get it going here then I offer my +1, however I would suggest trying another faction first because supreme is generally viewed as the mugger faction and not a very roleplay centered faction there are members of supreme who will deny this, and there are some outlying cases, but overall you should be looking to join somewhere in little italy or perhaps the bikers or blue lobster they're chill

I will +1 this ban appeal because I saw Bullets do a -1 and to be frank, if you haven't actually been anywhere of worth with these cheats, aka this server, I don't see too much of an issue; HOWEVER, I strongly suggest that some sort of punishment be in order regardless; hacking anywhere on gmod is the potential to hack on diverge, and seeking that potential on its own is itself an issue; for six months you should be unable to PK, to mug, or to participate in PVP in any way outside of deathmatch events where they can generally tell, and there is heavy supervision within, that you might be hacking

LITERALLY last night, he swapped chars from Thomas J. Callahan to Daniel Gordon, just to arrest me on information he learned from his other character. He ordered giang to the lobby and had him arrest me for "trespassing". Edit: -1

no we wouldn't wanna adjust but if staff feels like it they could also adjust the actual PK threshold or make it so that if your sentence goes beyond 30 years the time you wait doubles every 5 years added like 35 years = 1 hour 10 minutes prison time 40 years = 2 hours 20 minutes prison time 45 years = 4 hours 40 minutes prison time 50 years = 9 hours (if not just life lol) people could work and have good behavior so when the department of corrections comes to meet them or they make a ticket in a NEW DEPARTMENT OF CORRECTIONS they get out on good behavior this would also add the aspect of "life with possibility of parole" if they really wanted to go that far

not scp rp if we were actually gonna do it do it right it would be pretty funny

forgot to add you only get to keep 10-15% of what you earn in prison if/when you get out so if you earned 10k over 30 minutes you only get around 1k to 1.5k when you leave, the point being so that whatever money you earn if it's not used in court it hardly means anything
