I'm popular on my main Ali Abbas Hussein who's known mostly as the chill cop for a long time the only people that ever really disliked me are arrestee's who spent almost an hour cop baiting an complain that they have felony charges berceuse's of their actions, In PD I was seen as incompetent by the IA section which led to a lot of cursing me out on discord which I ignored. The reason was because I fired an officer that was one of their friends for cursing me out their supervisor (it was my first or 2nd day which did look bad), But that's the most controversy I've ever gotten into on this server and it was weeks ago so I doubt they still feel that way in IA. What is your favorite moment on Diverge so far?: Very hard to choose to be honest but its mostly actual court and when the verdict is called but also the events are pretty fun and hostage situations Have any staff members recommended you? If its clearly just Random I'd make a staff ticket myself and if no staff is online and no ticket is made I'd just leave it alone You have seen a fellow staff member of higher or equal rank than you abusing fairly often, but never doing anything too noticeable. What do you do?: I'd try to record it and gather any other evidence of abuse of power and if its something bad or a harm to role-player's on the server and I have evidence I'd report this to my higher up (most likely bacon?) Does it constitute possible bias?: It does(not for me) as a general rule its not a good idea to take a ticket with someone I know personally. its better to give it off to another staff member if possible but if not possible I'd take it myself and treat it as if its any other ticket and apply the appropriate punishment with the evidence brought fourth to me and I'm confident in myself to be able to do that ---------------------------------------------------------

Hello! Phones are pretty useless once you get out of the stage of doing random street deals, i personally used one again for the first time today after probably over a year and it got me thinking. I have a few ideas that could make phones more usable. 1. A voice mail system. If your phone call doesn't get answered of connected, allow for a short message to be sent. These can be seen by the person your attempting to call when they next log on, giving them your number and your message. 2. Landlines. This ties in with the first idea a little. Allow business to have a landline phone within their property. They will be able to publicly advertise this number to allow for example, reservations of tables as restaurants, placing orders for firearms at gun stores and stock checks at clothing stores. 3. This idea is a little ambitious but a sim system. Allow users to purchase sim cards to get new numbers instead of buying a whole new phone each time. This can be a physical item that can be swapped in and out of phones. This could allow for more in-depth detective role play if a phone was used in the commission of a crime. ( Also, as a little side idea to make phones more realistic, make some sims more expensive to allow more calls, while this may be seen as annoying i think it could make the role play experience a little more fun, E.G, you run out of calls for the day and need to either pay for more or take the risk of attempting to approach either someone you know or someone on the streets. As many of you may have noticed, there has been a noticeable rise in criminal activity committed solely for the purpose of obtaining felony status and gaining access to certain benefits. I agree with the benefits, as felons can no longer legally own a firearm license or carry a firearm without committing a crime. However, there should be a system in place that allows criminal faction members to access those same products and equipment without having to rely on receiving a felony charge. The Idea: - Felons receive a 25% or 50% discount on products that were previously locked behind felony status; - Felons receive +1 extra unit when crafting equipment that was previously felon-locked. These products and equipment also become available for criminal factions to purchase or craft, without requiring felony status.

What server rule or PK rule was violated?: During this entire situation I was undergoing connectivity issues, lag out problems happening consistently. I have been unfortunately dealing with this issue since joining the server, but nevertheless still play throughout it. Upon this altercation happening I disconnected/lagged out unintentionally multiple times, and as I was attempting to rejoin the already full server, I was still dealing with these issues. Once I was able to reconnect my char was unable to use his hands due to somehow being put in restraints, I voiced this to individuals I was playing with and then unfortunately lagged out again once a swarm of PD arrived. Then once I reconnected for a third time, an individual that I had spoken to in game about being in restraints then proceeded to kill my char to release him from restraints. After this I attempted to get in contact with an admin but instead was teleported by an admin to the police that waited in front of the DD and then was taken into custody. I attempted to explain my connectivity issue expressing concern for this first and foremost because I would not intentionally want to exit out of my game, especially on a server I have come to frequently play on. After discussions with the PD and asking for a lawyer, my char was pulled into a sit down with an admin where I attempted to explain my situation but was gagged shortly after. The individual who killed my char to release him from restraints was then pulled into questioning along with me but I was unable to communicate with him and anybody around me due to still being gagged. Unknowingly, we joined into a disc to talk to each other in an attempt to see if I was able to communicate in game. Once the admin noticed we were in a discord call I was immediately banned for: 2 days Metagaming/ Fail RP/ LTARP. After taking an extra 2 days off of this ban I attempted to rejoin under this char because I was under the impression it was only a 2 day ban but was notified by a different admin I was PK'd due to avoiding arrest. I did not ever intentionally try to avoid arrest nor to my recollection have caused any concerning issues on the Diverge Server. Unfortunately I do not have any clips, or any other proof outside of the screenshot I was given for the 2 day ban notice.

A system that takes the simple scratch off ticket that everyone knows well, and implementing it into the game as a way for players to gamble, and make another source of income in a legal way (or illegal if this goes far). There can be different tickets that have low risk-low reward and high risk-high reward; the rewards being anywhere from a few dollars to in the thousands. Anyway, the main issue with this pk is 1 thing. There *might* be some disagreements about the timing of the fear RP and the timing of him pulling a gun; which came first, but frankly he had guns on him and they were obviously there to mug him and he knew that and he took the risk. Maybe there's a discussion to be had about it, but it's irrelevant. The only thing that is an issue here is one of the muggers is a minge character. The only RP he actually partakes in is baiting cops and shooting them. This appeal is accepted.

Banning admin here, I watched you and your friend drive around and mess with cops for absolutely no reason. Then I kept watching you as you drove around and hit people with your car (killing one civ near Chinatown) and just ramming into other cars constantly. I must have watched you for at least 20-30 minutes, and you were doing everything but actually RP. It's not just about cop baiting, just generally NITRP and being total minges. This ruins the fun for those who actually enjoy the game, even though you may have a different opinion on what fun might be.

Voice messages could be cool, possibly prerecord instructions, or training guides. Some concerns with how the ingame pager is used and people using it to minge. Phones for businesses make sense, possibly have them pay for a 'special number'. But a strict landline attached to a wall. I think would be a little bit of a nuisance. As a follow up, I think adding a code you could add to your phone. That gives you access to any 'business call' made to the business, would be a better implementation. Sim cards weren't manufactured till 1991, I think adding them is a little redundant, may account for a pointless price increase. As opposed to just getting another phone.

I think that with the current state of the server the only Italian Family's to exist are large scale crime organizations with well over hundreds of members (which is fine since we are in the 80s and crime is at a high), but as we move closer to the 90s smaller scale family's/ glorified crews/ small outfits are starting to appear and hold out during crime crackdowns. The way that this application is written and made to sound is that they want to roleplay as the little guys who aren't immediately trying to make claims to anything. I think this kinda rp is lacking in the server since everyone and their mother wants to be Joe Pesci tough guys, I say give these guys a chance to try something else out rather than accept the next absurdly foreign faction cause that's what people think is game changingly different. (Keep in mind every different race faction promised to stand out and i genuinely don't see that happening a whole lot) Just something to think about

I tried bringing you to a sit to talk about the incident, but you decided to leave the server. I then waited for your return and noticed you had switched to a different character to avoid the felony. I brought you to a sit and discussed the in-game court process with you, which you decided you didn’t want to pursue. You refused to switch back to the character to continue the roleplay and instead asked to be banned to circumvent the felony charge. Here's a section from the PK guidelines explaining that you can be permakilled for disconnecting. "If you intentionally disconnect to avoid an arrest that would have been a significant felony OR you simply AFK / refuse to engage with the arrest roleplay you may be "auto-plea'ed" by staff which can result in a prison sentence PK."
