I thought about doing this with other NPCs like drug buyers ultimately the 'novelty' wears off very quick. Especially for players who know the map, people would just have the preset positions memorized and have to run about every day checking which location the NPC is at. Even when sending a notif it sort of defeats the purpose of the teleporting to begin with. Every potential teleport position is limited to public areas that cant be owned or built on. Also with the map updates and other conflicting NPC positions having to re-edit the teleport positions is administratively annoying. When you say sewer NPC characters do you mean people that park a character in a spot then load it to check the NPC? Could always block that with code or make it more annoying. Like 10 seconds of no NPC access to prevent this and other little abuses. (God forbid theres a cooldown between actually switching characters too) Tl;dr doable but it's a hassle and does little to enhance RP imo

Hello, PKing admin here! To clarify, you were PKed for LTARP during a raid. Based on the evidence provided, the TM can be seen entering his room at the Imperial. As soon as he enters, you can briefly be seen in the room before immediately switching characters. I had already considered the possibility that you may have logged out during a planned deal, so I asked the TM whether any deal was taking place that day. He confirmed that there was not. In your appeal, you also admit that after taking product from the processor, you switched characters. Regardless of your intent, once you become involved in an active roleplay situation and then switch characters to avoid that interaction, that falls under LTARP. I also found it incredibly hard to believe that you accidently pressed "Collect" on the processor, clicked E on the shipment and clicked "Take" 10 times on Cocaine. Additionally, after switching characters, you continued switching back and forth, eventually leaving the room, selling the Cocaine to a vendor, and purchasing additional products from other vendors, which further supports that this was not simply an accidental pickup followed by switching characters. Best of luck with your character appeal.

Notice how you dont provide anything to back your argument up besides " the evidence is damming" and then provide nothing. The biggest issue with this appeal is the dickriding bc some of you retards got yourselves mugged and now your salty that bros tryna get unbanned bc you're feelings got hurt over a aspect of the server and game. When are people gonna admit the only problem they have is that bro was mugging. Hans had been maining with us for 2-3 months before he got rebanned and in that time he established his character, got bones, got made, recruited, sold guns, clothes, paid weekly kickups which by every standard of worth makes his char valuable especially when it was all done on his main which I should add alot of the people who mug or try to mug never do it on their mains. He's been involved with Taka for way more than a week IC/OOC and I've observed plenty of good roleplay from him, I'm pretty sure it was me who hired him. Mugging only becomes an issue when the (((wrong person))) gets mugged, has a baby bitch fit and cries to the admins. If you're mugging people everyday then there would definitely be an issue, however there are many factors for one to avoid being mugged and if it happens to someone, it's on them. I've been mugged before and haven't let my guard down since, it hasn't happened to me again and never will (no I will not knock on wood). If an Admin feels like you're doing things intentionally for no regard for actual roleplay they may deny your PK requests issue according punishments There are other instances where killing someone during a mugging will not result in a PK. - Such as not giving the person reasonable time to react to your demands - Ordering them to use certain game functions they don't have to comply with or making unreasonable demands (Drop items/cash, hit f7, give me your f3, commit suicide, etc) - If you disengage fear rp and they attempt to flee or fight back - You fail to specify that they are being mugged/fail to properly initiate a mugging - A fail mug location or mass mugging However it does say that PK baiting is against the rules in #2 on the list. Mass mugging does not apply to this situation, nor does mugging character. The cause of this should've been from the initial effortless mugging that could have been instead of "put your hands up" - been one of the 2 mugging the guy to restrain them. However a perma for this seems a little steep. The mugging rules need some more clarification, and I cant stress enough the 2 bans I have on record for racket abuse and how Canadian/Pendred had changed the rules to further clarify the rule (which had ultimately helped lots of others understand the rule further.) Idk man, just seems like we all don't like Hans because he's mugged you or someone you don't like. Hi banning admin here. I was asked to weigh in on, and then enact your ban during a conversation with at least 6 other staff members, including staff higher ranking than myself. Looking through your logs, it is blatantly apparent to me, as well as the other staff, that you don't intend to roleplay. In your previous appeal, you said: "If I get unbanned, I plan to roleplay and add to the servers experience instead of take away from it. If I come back to the server I won't be mugging at all, shouting at people for no reason, or breaking any rules." So far you have spent most of your time mugging, outside of that AFK'ing at your property, and making negative and cringeworthy Underground Advertisement endlessly. It's worth noting that hiring a few people and ordering oil is not what constitutes roleplay. Your provided evidence of roleplay is also pretty sub-par. You have been known to mug various people who blatantly have nothing of value on their person, which to my eye is likely PK hunting. You make the core of your character, down to his nickname, about mugging. You post a large number of rumours per session gloating about your muggings, and announcing plans for your next muggings. All of this adds up, as well as your previous bans and reputation - to show that you are just a mugging character, who can provide little to no valuable roleplay to the server. The testimony of a small handful of Takahashi players that you "have been helpful in the 1 week you were there" is not doing much to disprove that, either. PK hunting, most failmugs (which you have done at least one) and NITRP are all bannable offenses. Referencing Canadian's judgement on your perma ban appeal: "If you are banned again it will be extended to permanent once more." Thus I extended your ban to permanent. TL;DR - I was asked to ban you if I believed your actions constituted a ban, I did, as did numerous other staff. You had a 1 strike, you're out policy laid out to you when you were unperma'd. Good luck on the appeal.

Anyways like Hans said HC and I had been talking to Hans trying to encourage him to do more than just mugging and he became one of our top recruiters and most active members filling in the gaps left by less active members. Not saying bro was perfect I did have to talk to him alot about his mugging habits but he genuinely made an effort to recruit order oil and contribute to deals and pay his kickups. Obviously the ultimate decision comes down to upper staff but imo I think its a stretch to say its a mugging char based off of what I saw from bro and our sale records and training logs. Overall sure his rp wasnt 10/10 but he did genuinely make an effort to make sure he was abiding by server rules and for the most part faction rules as well people are upset bc they got mugged and lost their shit which I get but idk to be crashing out and tweaking bc you were in a red zone without a gun out is kinda silly imo so idk overall he was making a solid effort so its a +1 from me

+1 I know a lot of people have not met Hans in game but as someone who did not know him before his original perm ban I can say that Hans is one of the most active taka mains I have seen. Yes he mugs a lot but the ban makes absolute no sense, mugging char would imply all he does is mug on that char and provides no RP. However this dude is one of the best hirers I have seen and one of the best role-players in taka. Every time I have seen him in game he will be running the garrison. unban this guy he does not deserve this.

Another Bug along With this one if you put an attachment on it that it the old bug says it has on it before you've put the new attachment on ones it is on you cant take that attachment of the gun.
