If the mansion were to be removed it would just be more unused, unoccupied or blocked off space. Not that that's necessarily a bad thing but people think that remove one add four is the way to go when it comes to mapping. When you take considerations on what should go where in a map you're looking at generally how players will end up interacting with the space in a building. The Mansion goes unused save for some events? That's fine, it's on the tit's edge of the map and is not intended to be a high traffic, highly used area. In a server where peer to peer player interaction is valued you generally want players grouped into a few dense pockets of buildings, generally in the inner-city, while the edges of the map are quickly traversable and more dispersed. Inner city providing high density, high volume of player-to-player interactions and the outskirts giving the reprieve and breathing room of wide open spaces without a person in sight; better hiding your crimes. So as far as I'm concerned the Mansion fits it's niche on the map's edge nicely, if removed that entire area may as well be fenced off. As for people harping about 'adding more buildings' that basically breaks the principles I laid out above, a lot of faction buildings already go unused during peak hours as is, people put the shop dupe down then fuck off doing other things in the city, which is fine, but adding more buildings for a faction to own and never actively use/run is useless. I have some more ideas for that northern section for next map change but I think adding buildings is not really one of them. I'v noted a handful of times over the last couple of months when it comes to a property or storefront being 'actively ran' (read; at least 1 or more non afk person in the building using it to do something, anything. Building with the dupe down but no one inside doesn't count as Active) 10/37 faction ownable properties being used on a 111/128 server 9/37 faction ownable properties being used on a 118/128 server 10/37 faction ownable properties being used on a 127/128 server 8/37 faction ownable properties being used on a 127/128 server 7/37 faction ownable properties being used on a 127/128 server 6/37 faction ownable properties being used on a 127/128 server As we can see on average about 22% to 25% of the buildings are in use during peak hours, which is pretty normal but adding more buildings only reduces this average and makes the city far more barren, whereas reducing the number by removing buildings and increasing density makes the city much more full especially as people have less options to hide in apartment build rooms it forces them to use the existing buildings, turning a 7/37 on a full server into a 15/30. Public / Government buildings not considered in these numbers.

I think it would be pretty cool if when you were full hunger you'd regen stamina back faster and the lower your hunger is, the slower it would regenerate instead of if you're 0 hunger you take damage and walk slow for like 3 seconds. Changing this might work with the thread Pendred opened about having food come in shipments instead of at cash registers.

I agree with my good friend Jamal Mansion is nice for the occasional event but even the 1 extra townhouse from last map update has added a lot more activity especially from civ chars A proper townhouse area could breed good RP between civs and crims

+1 Interacted with a few members of this faction over the years (as-well as recently) and they are a mature and motivated group. From what I've seen they have a good understanding of what it takes to create good roleplay, internally and externally. Faction application isn't perfect, but none of them are. Could do with being reformatted and some more detail in certain areas. But I do like how the application gives a solid timeline with dates included, as well as it being well thought-out with referenced links. Overall, solid application. Make a pvp server so everyone can constantly fight each-other like its COD. Bad ass you can select maps like, Legrande, PD, Little Israel, Little Italy, Little Colombia and many more badass maps. You could also make some badass Skins that everyone can pay for like notorious characters like Jake Grant, Jake Grant Detective, Jake Grant Mayor, Commissioner Jake Grant. Flamingo (Make him a bit chubby), Romullus. Add some bad ass gun skins that you could work towards with progression!!!!!!!!! Hello, Once upon a time we removed the ability for properties to have food registers, in place of that we set up Shipment NPCs where people could order in food items (in bulk obviously), and then transport them to the property, and store them for selling to people. At the time, this was somewhat unpopular due to a few issues. Such as: - Storage entities were frequently being wiped, which would mean people would spend many hours organizing stock and arranging deliveries, just for it to be wasted. This is no longer an issue as storages permanently persist. - Having to have millions of storage lockers to store them in, making it difficult to effectively organize. - Lazyness. But this is a task that should be delegated to lower ranking members. - The old shipment system had dogshit configuration, so you couldn't order multiple at once. - Whatever else, it was years ago I don't remember. So we eventually reintroduced property vendors, but with a limit of 15 items. Today, I was reminded that we once had this system. Thinking about it, I realize that its reintroduction would come with many benefits, such as. - Not having to rely on me or Canadian to get on and change vendors when you want something changed. Which is a lengthy process, getting approval from FL, making the UA ticket then waiting for us to change it. - Being able to sell a wide range of food and drink items, instead of being limited to 15 pre-selected options. - Boost of available roleplay - new hires can be assigned as delivery boys, restaurants will have to organize their stock and have dedicated people managing it, ensuring supplies stay available, and much much more. We would make the following changes with this: - We would create a new type of storage item, that has a much larger inventory space, but in return it would only be able to store food items. Thus resolving the issue of having to have 100 storage items. - We would update the Shipment NPC UI to have organized categories so it isn't all cluttered together (like it is now). There would be tabs, nice and organized. - Shipment timing for food would also NOT be the same as drugs/guns. They would spawn immediately for collection. So I wanted to see what you all think - would this be something you'd like to see? I cannot see any real downsides to this, other than lazyness / not wanting to RP. But maybe there are some - so by all means let me know if there are. Or perhaps there are other things that would need to be done alongside what I have proposed. Either way, please let me know your thoughts.

Lately it just feels like powergame is being defined insanely broadly. I've read the rules but it seems like on all sides of RP lately be it crim or gov is just being widely voided. You can't use the laws as they're written if they're gonna hurt someone above made (even made cases get voided too really). If the case feels like it might have lasting meaningful effects due to faction negligence, that's worth a void. This one is actually happening a lot lately. Charges stemming from negligence will be dropped especially when dealing with technicalities -- a staple of law that was used to bring historically relevant mobsters to justice. The server has gotten insanely soft on this issue. You can't send UC's without meeting a long laundry list of criteria but if they're from an enemy alliance on an alt char that's powergame but it's conflict to send em if they have an allied alt (don't even get started on the cross-char consequences too that's a can of worms on its own). Engaging in lawfare will likely result in a void. You can't weaponize the court system as a mobster or scumbag lawyer anymore especially when it comes to large sums of money from long established characters or government officials. This argument isn't even complaining about how hard it is for the gov to sue factions it's actually the other way around. Even now cases against the gov are being voided for powergame. LegalRP has been a diverge staple and hallmark but it's constantly being eroded. Detectives being hamstringed. DA's office having its time wasted. And now even crim/civ lawyers can't bring cases to be a menace anymore. Nothing feels IC its always having to fight your case with UA and the Court at the same time it's just not fun anymore lately. Anyone have clarity or a way to fix this problem reasonably?

Even though this is said extremely badly I agree, often times people trying to start factions or people who are citizens or new can't get any buildings to themselves as both townhouses get swiped pretty quickly, ive always said that area would make a for a really good actual "ghetto" maybe even add a business or two over there. plus with rockefella being right there its a pretty popular part of town, the big ass mansion barely gets any use unless its medals or we have a global event going on and ask before hand, there RP just leaves alot to be desired, i would understand if the governor would actually use it and RP in city but its just a big ass empty building atp.

Hi their I'm the one who order this, and no it was not because I'm a "hater" or my guys were bored at 3am. Here's the situation you left our discord 8/22/24 before the night i made the order i hadn't heard of you or seen you at all. I was informed that someone who had left the discord was online and when i looked to see if you had made any payments or dues nothing came up other than your nickname change and you leaving the discord. Given that their was no hiring information, tax logs and when i double checked for confirmation that you weren't someone Douchebag knew he stated he didn't know who you were and that it was good for the orders. I also had a staff member verify that our vendor has been used by you as again i didn't know who you were and given that you had used our vendor, weren't listed as a hire, the assumption was you were a ghost hire who was most likely tryna use the racket for your own benefit. As again you had left the discord and it is unknown to us if you touched that char before i wrote the orders so with all the information available the order was written as follows I Kozue Yamodo order for Jimmy Hands to be sent back to Japan for being a ghost hire (only info is from 2yrs ago), breaking faction rules by leaving the discord, avoiding weekly dues, and being an overall liability to the stability of the business. Here's an explanation for each part. Ghost Hire: as stated the only information on you in our discord is from 1-2 yrs ago with no hiring log or new information since you left 8/22/24 and prior to that theirs no logged messages or anything ever sent by your discord Breaking Faction Rules: You left the discord without anyone's knowledge until lucky got your name and tried finding your name in the discord which is when he notified me of your leaving and then i asked for him to have you char checked by staff to see if you have used the racket which you had, upon this confirmation i looked for your name as well and found no tax records, messages, hiring log or anything besides the times you had roles changed and the times you left. We require members to be in the discord as you cant see the radio frequency and other important messages without being in the discord so you leaving without our knowledge was a violation of faction rules Avoiding Weekly dues: pretty self explanatory you get hired into a faction you get that little pop up that you hit yes on acknowledging that you understand the risks of joining a crime family, the way we do it is this your first week of being with us is free you don't have to pay any dues then after that first week is up your weekly fees kick in. Now i don't know how sansenkai did their kickups or if they did or how they operated as that was before my time. However i don't think its unreasonable for me to assume they had their associates pay weekly fees and that their members also had obligations. You only came onto our radar because you gave your name out to the guy who carried the orders out at that time and at that point it was unknown how many times you previously used that char without us knowing we just knew you had no hiring information, Douchebag didn't recognize your name, you left the discord in 2024 under Takahashi, you had no tax records, you had used the racket for things besides oil. Liability to the stability of the business: Given the lack of information on who you were, the lack of recognition, the fact that you had used the vendor for things besides oil, possibility of you using our racket without our knowledge to benefit yourself or on the behalf of someone else, unknown to us how many times previously you had used that char and what for, you left the discord under us without our knowledge and then were seen using that char despite having left the discord in 2024. Having an unknown person running around on our whitelist using our racket is a huge risk to our business as you could be selling guns illegally, using our racket to benefit yourself or an unknown party or being a complete retard and that can lead to potential unwanted investigations. Overall you were deemed a liability for being a ghost hire who left the discord and was actively using that char. None of the reasons i listed were because i felt like it or was a minge i did my due diligence as i always do when writing orders to make sure that the reasons fall under the pk guidelines to avoid any possible issues when trying to get it done. Why didn't we contact you: Here's why again as i previously stated you had 0 information about who you were and how far you got before leaving the discord on 8/22/24, given the lack of information you were deemed a ghost hire who left the discord and was using his char. We don't know if that was your first time using that char since you left for all we know you could've been using that char without our knowledge kinda like you left the discord without our knowledge. We asked for confirmation on whether or not you had used the racket for anything besides oil and it was confirmed by staff that you had infact used the racket for things besides oil. With everything i have listed in mind i made the decision to go ahead and write the orders with douchebag confirming he didn't know you and gave the ok for you to be killed. As for the way it was done sure their was no cops online and it was done it public but that doesn't negate the valid reasons we had for writing orders on you. PKS get done in public and sometimes people do see it and are around but that doesn't negate the pk. So instead of risking my guys life i wrote the orders and handed them off and as a result you were lured to the park and killed for all the reasons I've stated. Hopefully this clears things up and again this was all done according to the pk guidelines and i did my due diligence in ensuring that one or more reasons to write orders on you was present and valid. Edit: wanted to point something else out you state you hadn't been added into the takahashi discord and had no knowledge of the new faction or its structure however when you left in august 2024 it was no longer sanz and was takahashi kai at that point and had been for some time, now i don't know what your roles at the time would have allowed you to see however i find it unusual that you claim ignorance as to faction rules and management when you had still stayed in the discord up until that point.
