What server rule or PK rule was violated?: During this entire situation I was undergoing connectivity issues, lag out problems happening consistently. I have been unfortunately dealing with this issue since joining the server, but nevertheless still play throughout it. Upon this altercation happening I disconnected/lagged out unintentionally multiple times, and as I was attempting to rejoin the already full server, I was still dealing with these issues. Once I was able to reconnect my char was unable to use his hands due to somehow being put in restraints, I voiced this to individuals I was playing with and then unfortunately lagged out again once a swarm of PD arrived. Then once I reconnected for a third time, an individual that I had spoken to in game about being in restraints then proceeded to kill my char to release him from restraints. After this I attempted to get in contact with an admin but instead was teleported by an admin to the police that waited in front of the DD and then was taken into custody. I attempted to explain my connectivity issue expressing concern for this first and foremost because I would not intentionally want to exit out of my game, especially on a server I have come to frequently play on. After discussions with the PD and asking for a lawyer, my char was pulled into a sit down with an admin where I attempted to explain my situation but was gagged shortly after. The individual who killed my char to release him from restraints was then pulled into questioning along with me but I was unable to communicate with him and anybody around me due to still being gagged. Unknowingly, we joined into a disc to talk to each other in an attempt to see if I was able to communicate in game. Once the admin noticed we were in a discord call I was immediately banned for: 2 days Metagaming/ Fail RP/ LTARP. After taking an extra 2 days off of this ban I attempted to rejoin under this char because I was under the impression it was only a 2 day ban but was notified by a different admin I was PK'd due to avoiding arrest. I did not ever intentionally try to avoid arrest nor to my recollection have caused any concerning issues on the Diverge Server. Unfortunately I do not have any clips, or any other proof outside of the screenshot I was given for the 2 day ban notice.

Hello! Phones are pretty useless once you get out of the stage of doing random street deals, i personally used one again for the first time today after probably over a year and it got me thinking. I have a few ideas that could make phones more usable. 1. A voice mail system. If your phone call doesn't get answered of connected, allow for a short message to be sent. These can be seen by the person your attempting to call when they next log on, giving them your number and your message. 2. Landlines. This ties in with the first idea a little. Allow business to have a landline phone within their property. They will be able to publicly advertise this number to allow for example, reservations of tables as restaurants, placing orders for firearms at gun stores and stock checks at clothing stores. 3. This idea is a little ambitious but a sim system. Allow users to purchase sim cards to get new numbers instead of buying a whole new phone each time. This can be a physical item that can be swapped in and out of phones. This could allow for more in-depth detective role play if a phone was used in the commission of a crime. ( Also, as a little side idea to make phones more realistic, make some sims more expensive to allow more calls, while this may be seen as annoying i think it could make the role play experience a little more fun, E.G, you run out of calls for the day and need to either pay for more or take the risk of attempting to approach either someone you know or someone on the streets. imo just use phones for more rp my first year playing and i was in your same shoes but nowadays when introducing myself to somebody we always exchange #s and randomly calling your boys up icly is way better rp than dming them on discord also pendred has been working on a new phone system

Voice messages could be cool, possibly prerecord instructions, or training guides. Some concerns with how the ingame pager is used and people using it to minge. Phones for businesses make sense, possibly have them pay for a 'special number'. But a strict landline attached to a wall. I think would be a little bit of a nuisance. As a follow up, I think adding a code you could add to your phone. That gives you access to any 'business call' made to the business, would be a better implementation. Sim cards weren't manufactured till 1991, I think adding them is a little redundant, may account for a pointless price increase. As opposed to just getting another phone.

His partner then returns fire and kills you resulting in your PK. Also went ahead and ensured in logs that the officers had never shot you or any potential vehicle you were in before the clip begins to confirm that you are indeed the one that began the violent confrontation. +1 Really detailed app with some great role-players. Seems like a very well structured family with a great backstory.

I think that with the current state of the server the only Italian Family's to exist are large scale crime organizations with well over hundreds of members (which is fine since we are in the 80s and crime is at a high), but as we move closer to the 90s smaller scale family's/ glorified crews/ small outfits are starting to appear and hold out during crime crackdowns. The way that this application is written and made to sound is that they want to roleplay as the little guys who aren't immediately trying to make claims to anything. I think this kinda rp is lacking in the server since everyone and their mother wants to be Joe Pesci tough guys, I say give these guys a chance to try something else out rather than accept the next absurdly foreign faction cause that's what people think is game changingly different. (Keep in mind every different race faction promised to stand out and i genuinely don't see that happening a whole lot) Just something to think about

The note is from 3 months ago, I don't know why you're still bringing that shit up. Like I said, I wasn't planning to mug, but it happened. I can't just run away and say, 'I have to go because DutchCat said I can't mug on a new character or he'll take my stuff.' There were two other people with me what was I supposed to do? I didn't even know they were trying to mug him, so I really don't know what to tell you. My friend gave me the gun what was I supposed to do with it, throw it away? And you know what's crazy? You spectated me for at least an hour just to find something I did wrong. I'm pretty sure it's because my ban appeal got approved, and now you're trying to mess me up. Hello, I restricted your character due to you having a prior note for making a character and the first thing you did before was mug and I explained to you not to do it over discord. I have zero intend and I was not on your ass at all, I was overseeing a PK from Cassanos which they had on your character they killed, I wanted to be sure both parties were not metagaming or anything that would've voided your PK. I continued to help others by doing my staff duties. I scrolled through the logs and the first thing I saw was your newest character received a gun from your friend who also helped you escape these hitmen from Cassano on your previous character. (Which obviously you do not know this user, you're a whiteshirt, you do not have any knowledge of this man at all on this character) I load some querys within logs and do not see any IC communication or cash transfer for this mac-11. Which raised my concern, the first thing I did was teleport to you and I see you point your weapon on a man in the sewers with 2 dudes, one of them the friend who gave you a the gun and helped you escape those hitman from cassano previously. You received the Mac-11 within 3 minutes of creating this character. I can understand you feel like im targeting you due to the previous encounter which I already apologised to you and towards the team for making a mistake for that ban. I have no bias against anyone, I always give my 100% in order to get these outcomes a best as I can. I made a mistake which I take full accountability for, however if you still disagree with the way how I handle things, or still have the impression I do not treat you fairly you can file in a staff report here.

I think drug dealer NPCs should not only buy baggies of drugs but also sell baggies of drugs at a couple hundred-dollar increase. I also think adding a play list to HIFIs would make them better to use as its a hassle remembering all the songs you want to play and putting them on the HIFI.

I didn't avoid his threats because I complied with them. Then on another character I made I decided to start fresh and try to open a business myself that was a totally different business model from the one that was threatened away from me on my other character. I don't see how it is metagaming or char abuse when I concluded the rp situation on one character and left it at that. If I'd had known that what I was doing was metagaming then I would have refrained from doing what I have done. But, I honestly thought was I was doing was perfectly alright. I mean there was no business being conducted on my first character because it was all derived from talk in discord dms in trying to figure out how the enterprise would work and what would the makeup of the enterprise look like. So when I go back on my ten toes there would be no business to conduct or risk of retaliation since I complied with the threats already.

The business model was unique, totally different, and self-originated from the one on my other character that was discussed in discord dms between the other guy. He wanted to make a business dependent on construction which would have resulted in taxable income being produced. After the threat, I decided to make a new business model which would be able to derive non-taxable income using banking and insurance. The main point is that I did not want to have taxable income as a source of revenue for my business which makes it totally different from the other guys plan.

I have decided to change my appeal from a dispute to an apology. First off, I want to apologize for to the player I deprived by circumventing roleplay with a new character. It was unfair and improper on my part for which I am sorry. I also want to apologize for the countless people I have annoyed with the antics that I was doing on that character which wasted the time of other players. I guess I just had an idea that I thought would be cool for the server and for roleplay which made me overlook the prior interactions of my past character. Hubris got the best of me like it usually does and again I am sorry and remorseful for the actions that I have done.

I want to mention that i was the guy mugging and he didn't know i was gonna mug him i saw someone go in the sewer and just persued him my friend not know i was gonna mug them followed aswell now if he knew he wouldn't have came and i shouldve told him but its kinda stupid to yell in the middle of the streets imma mug him we went down into the sewers afterwords i start talking to him raise my gun and tell him to run his pockets now my other friend pulled out his gun aswell and tied him axcurs didn't really have any impact on the situation he was only standing there not giving any orders etc also the previous warns are from so long ago im pretty sure they aren't active after a long period of time ( not sure another staff wil prob explain this ) but anyway he didn't initiate the mug in any shape or form he was there not trying to mug but got caught up in a bad situation regarding his previous warn

Hi i was the officer on scene at the time of first contact. We attempted to stop you due to the firearm you possessed, upon making contact we told you to get up against the wall and put your hands up. You "Crashed". After speaking to some of your other members i told them to get you back in the city and if you are found being locked inside the club house i would arrest all of them for obstruction of justice. You came back in for a few minutes and then disconnected. The last time you reconnected we had staff bring you to the original scene so we could arrest you. We took you back to the station to process you and when searching you, we found that you had removed all the clothes from your person and the firearm you had on yourself. We called staff and the staff member Yuki confirmed to me that you reconnected and were killed by your friend (IC cousin) Motzy. This then resulted in both of you being banned. Yuki did state that 2 out of the 3 disconnections were player side and he DID NOT loose connection to the server. Hope this helps UA make there decision on your unban.

hey, pking and banning admin here! so to expand upon the situation as Riggs described it you had left while being arrested. as some people do that we wait the 10 minute timer for a ban but your logs indicate you did it 3 times in which all of them YOU disconnected by yourself, not timed out. The logs show a different word choice if its by you or an issue. Secondly, during the sit you and your friend admitted to being in vc for the whole interaction with the cops and after. This can be shown when he had mentioned inside the sit how you told him to kill you to free you and coincidently you forgot about your gun. the big issue comes from you leaving yourself multiple times while getting arrested then having your friend kill you to get rid of the gun the cops were going after you for THEN dropping all items to connect you to the scene, nonetheless it was 4 seconds after you loaded your char to one headshot. sadly I dont have it clipped as at the time i didnt think to record it but im a bit confused as I informed you in the sit as to why you were being pked and that it would happen as you admitted your friend killed you to avoid the situation and stop the situation with the cops.
