"I'll kill him and bring you his fingers as proof" etc. Might open the door to more RP, personally I think when chopping up a corpse you should also get hands, and have the ability to cut off fingers to send a message to people, this is Mafia RP After all

Hello, While I'm not the banning member of staff I assisted in making the final verdict on your ban. Whilst an active threat is cause for killing someone, the individual in question pulled out their gun, then proceeded to put it on safety leading to you shooting him and his friends including one who didn't even have a gun in hand. Whilst I understand attempting to defend yourself, there's a difference between defence and opening fire on a group of people for the fun of it because someone put their gun on safety and called you scum. Here are the rules mentioned. In regards to how a user is allowed to react to verbal threats. There are two types of threats, an 'Active Threat' and a 'Idle threat'. Users may kill for an active threat but they may not kill for an idle a threat. The difference between the two is situational but will always pertain to if the person making the threats has a weapon in their hand. For example, someone pointing a gun at you and threatening to kill you. This is an Active threat. Someone saying they will kill/beat you in an argument or conversation. (Unarmed, weapon on safety etc) that is an idle threat. You are allowed to react to an Active threat in that moment (Not later when the situation is over). On that note, considering you escalated to violence in his situation you'd be the "Aggressor". You may kill in self defence or in defence of your partners/faction/property (Must have F3). When you've been attacked by an aggressor and survive (you did not aggravate or bait them to hit you) you may return with a weapon to kill them. Which means there was no reasonable level of threat in terms of shooting he group on their business.. Please read the rules, as when there is conflict there will be more staff keeping tabs on you, and more reports. So ensure you're taking the necessary steps to roleplay correctly, and make tickets on people breaking the rules so we can handle it.

Judging from your response i believe it's safe to assume there was NITRP In the interaction, with you targeting an afk person, aswell as Minge Behaviour. I Decided to let you off with just the VDM Ban as it was early in the morning. Good luck on your appeal, For Future reference here are the rules broken. 2. Do not randomly VDM. 3. Do not intentionally run over users for no valid reason, targeting people on sidewalks, cross walks or in traffic stops for no valid reason is VDM. If you accidently run someone over in the street it won't be considered VDM if the staff member deems the opposing party at fault. If you see someone in the street and intentionally aim to run them over or fail to attempt to avoid them it will be considered VDM regardless of them being in the street or not. VDM = Vehicle Deathmatch, Killing People with a Vehicle. Minge = Someone who refuses to follow roleplay. NITRP = No intent to roleplay.

Hello all, With the new addition of Drug Market Fluctuating Values, i believe we need a new form of storage, especially for those smart enough (Or dumb enough) to hold out until it's a better price. And as of such I'd like to introduce the concept of the "Sealed Case" Aka Drug Case. As can be seen above, The Sealed Case would hold 10 Baggies, and when opening it / using it there should be a /me in the chat, such as. /me (Name) Opens the sealed container. These Sealed Cases should be Felony Items therefore if an officer see's someone opening it they may move to make an arrest etc.

Improper escalation falls under RDM directly, therefore he was banned as such, I don't want it to be a permanent ban personally, however what the boss says is final. "Perma on next offence" is what led to it being a permaban

From what i can see there's some clear confusion in terms of people misunderstanding the reason why you were banned so i will specify The RDM Ban is for Improper Escalation, This does not mean someone was killed in the server, This means the offending party "Riggs" Failed to escalate properly as per escalation rules in the server, most commonly deemed as "Verbal, Physical, Weaponry" In the situation i watched, There were no attempts at an arrest before the person was shot, there were no forms of Verbal or Physical interaction before bullets were fired. However judging from the proof i can confirm that An attempt of arrest was Made after the situation, and judging from the clips involved it doesn't appear as if Martin Riggs damaged the individual in the car, so in terms of the ban, it is for escalating to violence instead of attempting an arrest. From what i was told and the proof i had been given Which will be attached to this reply, You were banned for RDM - Improper Escalation, Which was then extended to a Perma Ban at the Order of Pendred, The originally banning admin asked me for my verdict, and i gave the same response as i will provide here. In the situation I've witnessed, it is a clear case of Improper Escalation, Yes there was a PK, Yes the individual driving away was involved, However upon opening fire on the individual is Not an active threat, They are Unarmed In a Car Driving away, and shouldn't be fired upon, as PD Must strive to Make an arrest, Not execute suspects. In this situation from the clip you've provided i can confirm you did not damage the individual involved in this situation, This is new evidence that was not present during your ban, and I'm certain UA will take that into account when it comes to your appeal. Make the server more like tarkov with specific storages for everything, we have gun bags and attachment bags Why don't we make a Sealed Drug Bag 2x2 that holds 10 drugs, and have it be a felony to have one on your person empty or not. Maybe make it so they are bought in the sewers or the barge

We all know what Schedule 1 is, And if not that's not my problem, what if instead of staring at bullet casings we had another fun minigame like with blood splatter? Now imagine, You just shot and killed a man, run over to the bullets with either a plastic bag or just your bare hands like usual, and then upon clicking E you get a little minigame where you need to pick up each casing one by one and put them into the baggy, of course it'll take the same amount of time and might even have more /me's like /me (Person) Opens a Ziplock bag and kneels down /me (Person) Is picking up the casings and chucking them in a plastic bag /me (Person) Is collecting the casings and putting them in the bag /me (Person) is sealing a ziplock bag full of spent casings This as a whole could maybe even add a feature for more evidence clean up during murder, giving the criminals a Ziplock bag full of spent casings, which PD could even try to run as normal casings if they find it / if it's not cleaned up correctly Overall i just want more fun minigames in the server like the blood cleaning one we already have.

Right now, staff often need to PM players with messages like /pm "You're no longer PK Active." /pm "You're PK Active for 15 minutes as you're involved in a PK." /pm "Blah blah blah, staff stuff, blah blah blah." We already have the /it command, which can make roleplay experiences much more memorable when used correctly. /it The wind brushes past your hair. The only issue with /it is that it affects everyone within a certain radius, which means it can't be used for sensitive information that should only be seen by one person. If possible we could have something like a PM and a /it Without the Staff name attached, even if it's a command locked to a Certain rank i think it'd just be better overall for RP situations /pit STEAMID "Example, Example" It would work exactly like /it, but the message would only be visible to a single player via SteamID. For example You’ve just made a PK ticket and sent your proof to staff, I Think personally it'd be more immersive with the /Pit involvement instead of us using /pm and breaking immersion [Yugi PM]: The dude is active. *You feel your heartbeat quicken in your chest. Whatever you're about to do may be the last moment of your life or theirs. You go out and kill the player, and 15 minutes later, instead of receiving the following PM, you get the message in chat with the /pit function [Yugi PM]: You're no longer PK Active. *Your heartbeat begins to slow as the adrenaline leaves your system. That is understandable, however final verdict on your situation will be from UA, i highly suggest you collect all the evidence relating to your claim and wait for them to reach out to you, asking for any evidence you can provide. for future reference whenever people are being banned, leave their stuff for a little bit, whilst i understand your point of clearing illegal items from your room, there were still people processing in there, and it looks more like your friend got banned and you tried to take the items involved. As stated prior, Your ban may be Extended or Lowered upon UA's Final Decision
