I was told by someone that Gunshot Residue is only positive on a person who has shot someone, not just shooting in general. As much as this would suck to defend (as a defense attorney) I think it's critical to RP and would enhance the precaution people took when handling weapons. Hello! I’m the banning admin on this. I’ve gathered the clips, logs, and details below to give full context. Before I get into the matter, I want the player's behaviors to be taken into account. String has been highly toxic since the ban. This includes heavy use of slurs and insults in his appeal, continued insults in general chat, and sending abusive messages in my DMs. While this does not change the facts of the ban itself, it demonstrates a clear lack of accountability and maturity in my opinion. Quick Summary of Events: String cuffed the player and after only 19 minutes and 3 seconds took him straight to the plea NPC and auto-pleaded him on a felony charge. The clip provided by the player shows them disagreeing with String whom is clearly upset and willing to leave the player there or put them in jail. After some short disagreement String simply decides to take it upon himself to auto-plea the player. Neither of those happened here. Plea deals are supposed to be offered and signed in the cells, bypassing that and forcing it at the NPC is both RDA and Powergaming. Additional Details: I was unable to locate any ticket made by String about this situation (this is due to when I logged on + likely log restrictions). When I logged in and tried to speak with him about it, he was AFK which was unfortunate but I did give him a little time to come back. This is not his first offense. He has prior bans/notes for similar powergaming and should know better. I consulted with Animator and AceAdmiral before issuing the ban. At the end of the day, frustration with a difficult or minge player doesn’t excuse skipping the required RP timer and staff approval. Officers are held to a higher standard, especially when the suspect was actively trying to engage in the process by requesting a lawyer. I believe the ban and PD blacklist should stay in place but possibly be modified for a proper set of days. To the staff member looking this over, let me know if you need anything else. What does this suggestion add / change / etc : You can't punch for 2 hours, and you can't sit down for 4 ( alt + e). I think a logical change is that you cannot DRIVE with untill you reach 3 hours of playtime. Has this been suggested before : Shi I dunno At least 2 positives of this suggestion : - Less minges stealing cars upon starting the server and ramming it into a crowd of 30 people. - Less work for staff, having to refund / comp dozens of people going through the painful process of being hit by cars for no reason. 2 negatives for this suggestion : Really only one - a new player who WANTS to rp cant drive and larp for 3 hours. But to be fair.. you take away their ability to punch for 2 and alt + e for 4. I think this is more than fair. Overall summary: Massive change that would at least reduce the amount of minges stealing cars and ramming dozens over for no reason. While this can harm new players TRYING to drive and larp. Seeing with the 2 others things that are already held off on them I don't believe its a massive thing. Hello all, With the new addition of Drug Market Fluctuating Values, i believe we need a new form of storage, especially for those smart enough (Or dumb enough) to hold out until it's a better price. And as of such I'd like to introduce the concept of the "Sealed Case" Aka Drug Case. As can be seen above, The Sealed Case would hold 10 Baggies, and when opening it / using it there should be a /me in the chat, such as. /me (Name) Opens the sealed container. These Sealed Cases should be Felony Items therefore if an officer see's someone opening it they may move to make an arrest etc.

New mechanic where factions with restaurant/bar businesses can order shipments of food/beverages which can be delivered to the restaurant and stored into the register, that being said the amount of stock a business has on a specific food item would be dependent on how many shipments have been brought in (maybe a limit would make sense). To avoid complications and spam perhaps only managers can order these items. Maybe add the possibility for Speedy Delivery LTD to deliver these food/drink shipments directly to businesses I think if this gets approved it could add more functionality to restaurant RP instead of having unlimited stock in your register, plus it could give interns and associates a shot at responsibility through bringing in ordered food and beverages. On top of that, if Speedy Delivery can transport these shipments, it could potentially make for some interesting crim/citizen RP

Hello, PKing admin here. You were given orders by your Sr. Streetboss to locate and kill an individual for leaving your faction and for insubordination. After the individual left the faction, you stated on your faction’s radio frequency, “face your fate nigga,” which gave him sufficient notice and ample time to understand that you were actively pursuing him. You later found him to be barricaded inside a room in the ghetto. At the scene, both you and your accomplice made audible footsteps while sweeping the rooms one by one, which also created noise and further alerted the individual inside. Shortly afterward, a detective arrived on scene, witnessed both you and your friend waiting outside the room with your weapons on safety, and took photos before detaining you against the wall. During this moment, the individual exited the room, killed you, and injured your accomplice. For clarification, I have included the relevant PK guidelines below: “If you are attempting to PK someone, during the hit you are also PK active.” “Meaning if you're attempting to kill or have just killed the victim, but you were also killed, you are subject to a PK, so do not be reckless when carrying out these serious murders.” Additionally, both you and your accomplice were in a voice call while carrying out the PK attempt. This alone invalidates the PK, even if it had otherwise been executed correctly. As a result, you and your accomplice were issued bans of 1 day and 3 days respectively. Hi, As Psykho has rightly pointed out, you broke the rules pertaining to RDA and Powergaming. To break it down: By refusing to wait ample time and bypassing the requirement for a staff member to sign off on the autoplea, you committed RDA. Because you forced a player to take felony charges, and therefore gain felon status against his will - that does also constitute Powergame. For this you were blacklisted from the NYPD faction and banned. Whilst I understand your frustration that you had made a staff ticket to try to handle this situation properly, a seemingly long wait time does not enable any player to take staff matters into their own hands. Looking at the logs, the time from cuffing to sentencing comes in at 19 minutes. So it can be fairly assumed the cells roleplay was 15 minutes or less. This is not a long enough wait to complain, in my opinion. The staff member who would rule on an autoplea is an impartial third party, you avoided the due process, and naturally favoured your own desired outcome to leave the cells as quickly as possible and go on patrol - this is only made worse when we consider you hadn't even waited the specified 30 minutes. Reviewing the provided clip, the man in the cells did not seem to be particularly mingy or unwilling to communicate - he was speaking with you actively. Non-compliance is frustrating, but it's not an instant autoplea call. After offering your plea, if there is generally no intention to work out a better plea or accept it as is, you can begin the court process and request their discord - it's generally if complete non-compliance is found at this stage that autoplea comes into play. Regardless, I do believe your actions constitute a ban, but the length is considerably long. However it is worth us acknowledging your almost 50 collective notes and bans, including your most recent Powergame ban which was set at 14 days. Your ban will be reduced to 10 days although the NYPD blacklist will be upheld, as you were unable to act accordingly with the tools at your disposal and abused the jailor npc. As an additional note, please in future format your appeals formally. I understand the upset, but it makes the process of reviewing an appeal much harder. ESP/Wallhack was also used and demonstrated, as a rule of thumb we do not repeal valid exploiting or cheating bans on appeal, there's no trust or guarantee the user suddenly won't use a cheat software. All bans/unbans of that nature are handled via discord tickets.

+/- 1. We were lenient on gunbags, and didn't write any legislation against it. If cases specifically made to hide felony items are added, we would likely amend the weapons act or the upcoming drug act to include "concealment of a felony substance or item", so you'd be risking an extra charge.

Nobody went on an "RDM" spree other than the people clearly cheating, you were in the UA ticket involved, when I finally had an admin get on (Toast is goated) I got one banned. I did everything that you said I should've done. You banned me because you had zero clue a UA ticket was even open or that there were cheaters running around.

Hello, I’m the admin who banned you. As I’ve mentioned MANY times already, which you still do not seem to understand, you were banned based on a player report accusing you of RDM on two separate occasions. In the clips that were PROVIDED to me by the TM, which you also added to your appeal, you killed the player for ABSOLUTELY no reason and with ZERO interaction TWICE, which is why the ban was issued. As I’ve AGAIN mentioned multiple times both in the UA ticket you opened AND in our DMs, I already recommended a reversal of the punishment if the players you interacted with are banned or proven to have been cheating. For future reference, the correct way to handle situations like this is to create a UA ticket or call staff in-game directly, rather than going on an RDM spree against the players. Had you done that, this situation and the resulting false judgment would have been avoided completely. Best of luck with your appeal.
