I just got literally arrested yesterday. Like ????? Why even have them?? All I wanted to do was play my 3d cookie clicker. I click the drug buy. I wait, and play cookie clicker on my phone (i LOVE incremental games) and then I pick up my drugs. Why do we NEED cops for this process?? Like, yesterday I was processing drugs that I bought, and I was playing Adventure Capitalist on my phone irl (i LOVE incremental games) and I go to sell my drugs to the npc, and a cop arrests me for open carry??? Like why break the RP????? I now have to reset my drug process and I dont even get a prestige bonus. Please fix, this is actually ruining the game (i LOVE incremental games) or just rename the server POLICE RP because thats what its BECOME.

How do you handle this?: If I am not busy with roleplay matters, I will take the ticket immediately. If I am busy, I will make sure to keep an eye on the tickets to see if any other staff takes it. Once any important matters are concluded and the ticket is still open, I will take it, or in the case of something else, I will ask them to remake the ticket. What do you do?: To begin with, I would attempt to chat with them privately about their abuse in a manner that is polite and respectful. This is because if I were to immediate jump the gun and report him, there could be some vital knowledge that would result in the abuse of power, and I would look dumb for reporting it. Nonetheless, I would explain what I observed and ask for their feedback, reasoning, or further insight on what I saw. If the issues persist without any clear deductive reasoning behind it, I would bring it up to higher staff, following the protocols that are in place. How do you proceed knowing this? Does it constitute possible bias?: Rules are rules. If you break them, you are to be warned/punished, no matter who it is. However, to reduce bias, I would first see if any fellow staff members could take the ticket. If it's just me on, then I will try my best to respond to the ticket in the most unbiased manner I can, strictly looking at the rules to see if any rule break had occurred. However, if the personal connection is too strong, a conflict of interest would occur, which would constitute bias. Hello! As already explained by the PK'ing admin, you were PK'd for not valuing your life in an RP scenario which lead to your death. While you may try and argue you didn't intend to drown yourself, everything else points to this is the direct consequence of your actions. You got into a pursuit. You jumped in the water to try and flee, you decided to go far under water. You put yourself in a scenario to drown and die. Swimming is a very common and known thing people do to try and avoid cops. You can't be easily cuffed, tased, interacted with any way. If they do manage to tase you, you sink. If they manage to cuff you, good luck getting you to actually be draggable. Your situation escalated into a full shootout with police, and once lethal force is involved, everyone tied to that scenario takes on that risk. Even if you didn’t ask for help, the person who intervened was apart of your faction and did so on your behalf, which directly links you to the escalation, you don’t get to separate yourself from the outcome when it goes bad. Being detained doesn’t make you immune in an active gunfight, and collateral damage is a realistic result of that kind of RP. Lag or a misfire doesn’t change that this was a legitimate scenario with real consequences. On top of that, this isn’t the first time you’ve pushed the edge of server rules, in fact this may be the 3rd time this char has been pk'd.... and the officer involved was fine with the PK, so there’s no real reason to overturn it.

Hello! First, to clarify, you weren’t PKd for being put under Fear RP, you were PKd for dying while PK active. You became active the moment you tried to tie this player up. Now, I see your argument that it was accidental. The “evidence” you provided for this just clearly doesn’t add up. You for one cut out the start of the tying. We can’t see if you did it through the C menu or through your F1 inventory where you have to right click and actually click the appropriate option. Second, you keep yourself still and tying them. And finally, you admit yourself your “plan” was to even bait them into using them first to try and PK them. Which is PK hunting and also frowned upon greatly. Hello, This case is pretty simple and boomroasted covered just about everything. Whether your friend had intention or not to kill you, it’s what he did. Him potentially having a lag spike or some sort of lag spike is irrelevant. Overall for future notice, if a faction member or a friend of yours accidentally kills you while attempting to kill an office arresting you it will result in a PK.

As our original Business is no longer available, I would like to propose a new plan, We will be sticking to the idea of a fishing related business, and instead setting our sights on Hardware. We will have dupes made for the premises, and will run it as a Fishing Tackle shop, tying back to the original idea of having fishing at the core of the faction. We have the soul intention of sticking to our original plans, and depending on how successful or unsuccessful the faction may be we will open Don Pez at a later date in a new location. I look forward to seeing what will become of this faction and it's roleplay in the future.
