Why should you be considered over other candidates?: I've been playing diverge since April 2023 I believe that's a long enough time to get good knowledge on the server and the people on it to start helping more, while I'm not massively known on the server I would like to say my name is out there, you should choose me for the staff team because I get on at weird times some of the times where no staff are on and people are still making tickets and need help. Do you have any previous staffing experience? (Please list where, what position and how long): Yes I got to admin on this server!! and it was for a few months I believe. Have you been banned before on any of our servers? If so, why?: I have been banned on the server twice the first ban was from monte it was for RDM POx3, Minge, Lying to staff it had also been appealed and accepted I believe, the second ban was from anzati where I had shot 2 taxi drivers after they had been running/ into peoples cars making them fall over the reason I shot was because they had made someone I knew fall over multiple times I just didn't have his name causing it to be RDM POx4. Would you say that you are well known in our community, what's your reputation, what do other members think of you?: I wouldn't say I'm well known in the community but I would say I'm pretty liked throughout the people who do know me the only people that come to mind when I think of who knows and likes me are some of the commission where they dislike me due to a situation that had happened, my reputation is pretty good not many people dislike me to my knowledge. What is your favourite moment on Diverge so far?: I'm not going to lie my favourite moment on diverge was probably the 911 event where the plane had hid world corp causing fire to spread throughout the building right before the big map change. Someone RDMs and you are currently off-duty. How do you handle this?: I would make a ticket or tell someone in staff chat because if I was involved in the situation I wouldn't be able to take a ticket of it as it would be taking my own ticket and people could say I would have a bias towards the player that had rdm'ed and if no staff are on then there's nothing else I can do except wait. You have seen a fellow staff member of higher or equal rank than you abusing fairly often, but never doing anything too noticeable. What do you do?: I would get clips of them abusing and gather all of the evidence and report it to higher staff member than the person is giving all of the evidence against them to the higher staff member. A member of your faction / friend of yours has a ticket made against them accusing them of RDM’ing, and minging. You know that this person rarely does this when you play with him. How do you proceed knowing this? Does it constitute possible bias?: I would proceed with appropriate punishment if they had broken a rule they would deserve the punishment if it's proven to be true, they should know the rules and what not to do.

It was me who banned you, not Boom. Whilst it's agreeable that posting IC documents, clips etc in OOC channels is okay, if the document that is posted in an IC channel is deleted and you use a 3rd party tool to view the deleted item you aren't technically viewing the item within an IC manner, because the item is no longer there, and shouldn't of been there. If it was posted in error and removed it's no longer an IC item and by accessing it in the way you have is ooc. And then taking something you have obtained OOCly and spreading the links around will affect people's IC knowledge, which is obviously very anti-rp - from someone, who claims to be RP forward? I will say, I should've timed you out, rather than ban.

Only advice I can give, the community has brought up many of these issues before and nothing has changed, just get told “cope its gmod”. Staff can punish people breaking rules but everything else is out of our hands and is up to UA

This is a pretty frequent topic of discussion in staff chats. 1. Report = Punishment, we don’t have eyes everywhere 2. This has been brought up before, always ends in “Let people talk their shit as long as its not OOC” 3-4. Discord has been overused for so long but I get what you mean. Unless its metagame, nothing we can do. 5. Yes they do. Again, you need to report as we only have so many eyes. 6. Been brought up many times, it’s not changing. The cats out of the bag. 7. These are fronts at the end of the day and cant be expected to run 24/7 8. Yeah, we don’t have to name em either As for the rule breaks, staff can only see so much, so if someone is breaking rules report them. As for the seriousness of the server, this is also probably not going to change anytime with the current set up as all of these things go hand in hand. The factions, clothing, cars, whatever, its all related. tldr: make reports when you see rule breaks and if you want serious rp, play fiveM.

Really, though? I wonder why people hate a hardcore aspect of a game that is almost never engaged with in a balanced or good faith manner- by people who have nothing to lose? Why would someone who has a 2-4 year old character hate a system that’s as brutal as it gets in which someone with a day old character can exploit to cause long lasting or permanent damage to, potentially leading to catastrophic loss (permanent death)? Jeez, I just wonder why someone would have an issue with that? Why are so many bans issued and why do staff who care about the rules and the spirit of the game so adamant about enforcing rules around this thing that’s so easily exploited and used to harass people, target people for OOC/out of game reasons, and literally financially harm people? The majority of mugging is done in bad faith. I believe there's a huge place for mugging in RP, but the way most people see mugging is exactly this This is a roleplay server. For roleplay to happen there has to be a side that will lose something and accept it because that's just how the roleplay goes, roleplay where everyone is a winner gets stale real quick. Now like I said mugging in a contextually correct manner should be welcome, just like how every other feud in the RP is welcome, but at the end of the day mugging just to be an ass, or just to get rich off of someone or just to PK someone and basically waste whatever positive mark they've had on the roleplay is not welcome and unfortunately that's what goes down most of the time.

I was gonna put this up as a suggestion but I don't have a fully formed idea about it so I thought we could have a conversation about this. I feel like a big part of the RP, namely extortion, is missing from the server. Since the civ factions are basically non-existent in RP and all other properties are owned by crime factions, obviously nobody is going to extort themselves. Why do I care about extortion so much? I feel like it offers a golden opportunity for RP between factions. Simply put, Civ faction gets harassed by criminal faction in their property for money, other criminal faction comes in and offers protection for the civ faction for pay and you let the ball rolling on that. Now, I was thinking that the civ factions in that scenario would have to be able to make good money which is the tricky part. You want to facilitate these RP opportunities with the main factor being the exchange of money but you also want the civ faction to be happy with the money they've made after they've paid for protection or they've been hassled by the criminal faction. That's gonna be quite the balancing act so I want to hear your guys' thoughts on how it could work out, if you find the idea interesting.
