Hey there! So after staff discussion, we will be accepting the PK appeal on a few basis. The clip is cut extremely quickly doesn't give enough time for the person to react, the iniation begins almost immediately. It doesn't explain the context prior. The person in question appeared to be sitting and waiting, his last log prior being a couple minutes across the city ordering oil. Meaning he went directly to the spot, to mug in less than a two minutes, which leaves a lot of unanswered question. Further breaking it down, it takes about a second for the voice to transmit through gmod, the angle you approach is through a side angle. Being that it takes a second to transmit your voice, the clip plays, albeit with some caveats, too much like the inhiation of FEAR RP wasn't clear and he didn't have sufficient time to react. He opens and gets into his car, as your are trying to initiate the mugging. Backs up as you are saying you are going to kill him. The clips play: 00:02 - 00:03 - 'this is a mugging you idjiot' 00:03 - Victim unlocks and presumably opens the door ( on door open script. ) 00:03 - Mugger says 'Stand still' 00:04 - 00:05 - If you get in the car I'll kill you 00:05 - Victim drives backwards ( as mugger is saying ' ill kill you' ) 00:06 - Mugger starts shooting and nearly instantly kills the the guy Considering it takes a second for voice to transmit, you can see the issue. You can claim common sense, but he should have a second for the fear RP, to respond to it. In this situation, the start he could be running autopilot. The short clip, the situation prior and potential for metagame, will all attribute to me accepting this appeal. Further while not a mugging character persay. The person involved has a substantial record/ mugging record which was also taken into consideration.

Different cultural aesthetic, paired with a different moral compass via culture, will contrast/pair well in it's own way. We aim to still be mafia geared, but we want to look differently, act differently, and carry ourselves differently. Greek culture prides itself on being very open and friendly, and we want to carry that into RP as well. Our motives are purely business oriented, with plenty of room for giggles and laughs hopefully to be shared with everyone and my friends. We just don't want to involve ourselves with the whole red vs blue direction the city currently seems to be going in. We just want to grind, make money, and make more friends along the way, while still having some thrill of being in a faction, no loyalties to anyone starting out. I'm not saying we eventually won't be allied to anyone, because eventually we'll be needing alliances, but we want to see how we can build bridges to everyone through RP (I already have some of those) and just overall see where this goes. It'll be refreshing for many people who want a break from being in other factions, (I know a few of those) and it'll be a breath of fresh air for those people, and myself included. I anticipate people wanting to get in a new faction simply because there is room for growth immediately, and they also would want to contribute to it's wellbeing, as I have made friendships with a multitude of people ic, and ooc, from almost every faction. Provide examples or event ideas to promote activity within your faction and keep people interested. (Reference your unique RP from the question above): I can think of a few things, such as a makeshift olympics like ancient greeks used to hold. We will encourage everyone to attend in city. Which will entail boxing, wrestling, atlas stone carries, and maybe powerlifitng meets via makeshift gym dupe. These are all ideas we've had. I wanted to see if this faction application will get accepted first before we commit time to making the dupes and whatnot. Organization Backstory (Min. of 250+ Words & any images): The Velentzas Crime Family, having originated in Greece and operated out of Greece since the early 50's and 60's, sought to create a sister sect of their business in the United States in the 70's, 80's, and 90's. They wanted to do this, to follow their mediterrianian counter parts such as the sicilians, and italians did, as the Greeks also had a significant hand in their successes in their respective old countries. They heard of their successes in the new country and it sparked a new wave of ideas for the Velentzas Crime Family. With increased attention from greek law enforcement, and greek government agencies alike, they sought a new beginning and possibly a permenant solution to their problems back in the old country. Before they made this very risky move, the Greek Don's and other executives of the greek crime families, came to the unanimous descision to send someone they knew could be trusted with the task of creating a landing pad in preparation for the migration of their criminal enterprises, and being closer to their allies, who had money, power, and easy business. That someone happened to be a respected and trusted cousin of the Velentzas Don, Apollo. His role in the family before this consideration, was merely organizing crews and being a friendly face/peacekeeper with the other organized crime families located back in the old country. His ability to read people, his perception, his bravery, and his diplomatic approaches to hairy situations, has proven to others that if there is anyone fit to get a feel for the massive hostile and bustling city of New York, it was him. He accepted this challenge as he understood that it meant the future for his way of life, and his families way of life with no hesitation. Organizing a crew, he slowly sent people to the United States to start getting settled in, as well as to get a feel for what the crime environment was like compared to back home. As from here on out, it was up to him to provide a safe haven for those he cared about and understood back home.

How do you handle this?: I'd attempt to have another staff member take the ticket but if no ticket was made and nobody was upset about it, I'd just mind my own business since no harm was done. What do you do?: I would collect evidence of that staff member abusing then open a report on that member for abuse without directly confronting them. Hello I am the admin that approved your PK, There seems to be some confusion, this was dons orders and not violent confrontation with police. The orders were placed on you for TLDR; Causing issues with other factions & bringing unnecessary police attention to the faction. It can be that you were shot from a distance by the member who was in charge of the orders or from behind but otherwise was not related to the police! Sorry for the loss of your character.

you cant get pked for meleeing a cop unless you kill the cop, whats to say its not the same with cars and shi. this is just being pk hungry lowkey im 90 percent sure this isnt stated in rules which is why you havent quoted anything, meleeing a cop is a violent confrontation with police but it's still not pkable unless the cop dies, you kinda just made your own decision and twisted the rules for the pk or maybe im retarded or sum

Hi, I am the staff member who PKed your character. The reason you were PKed is VCWP (Violent Confrontation With Police). You ran over a Police Officer, then attempted to flee when Trey Reed tried to approach your vehicle to doorkick you, when Trey made his lawful orders, you didn't comply, you decided it would be a good idea to drive away after almost killing a cop, resulting in your death.

I think it would be cool if there was a gym with treadmills, punching bags, etc. in a gym that people could come and improve their endurance, stamina, and strength!

Althoughhhhh, cop baiting & metagame are some crazy accusations, I was frozen for what seemed to be no reason in China-town and waiting for my friend Hayvo to get back from whatever he was doing, the cops rolled up on US, I did not go looking for trouble at all and then the cops start to chase us. I even told my buddy "Nah don't even shoot em, bro just fuckin run" They continued to chase us and that's when Hayvo initiated the shootout with the police. Even DURING the shootout I specifically said "Bro this shits ass what the fuck, I wasn't even tryna get in a shootout with them bro". The situation stems from you item transferring. What happened was a cause from your first rule break. Though it's not inherently a rule break to shoot at PD for having an illegal firearm, your attitude and your RP style shows what your guy's intentions are. You make a white shirt character and then get a automatic firearm to do what?

I noticed in the sit you said my character was 20 minutes old, then you said 2 hours or something I cant remember which both accusations were false. Also, I didn't start the shootout look at the clip provided. I wasn't willing to catch a felony for that firearm so I wanted to take my chances and flee, I never wanted to get into a shootout I said it multiple times in the clip.

Accidentally running over a cop and immediately stopping and saying you didnt see him is not a PK. He was no longer an active threat at the time that he tried to drive away again. This is far too loose.
