Late last night while I was in the city grinding shipments I noticed that two of my friends had gone out to mug people. Since I was bored I decided to join them to help out. While attempting to mug someone at the construction site we ended up killing the person. A ticket was opened afterwards but because there were no active staff members available at the time so we weren't able to complete the PK. After that I just didn't cared and went to sleep and when I woke up I found out that I had been banned for Meta Game. As I explained above I simply saw two of my friends out in the city and joined them in their car. During the mugging I was the one who initiated the mug and used In game VC. I had no idea they were in a Discord VC while we was mugging them. One of the two other banned players can be heard speaking in the clip (Tupac) and the other is the person who recorded and submitted the footage (Shrek meat) so I totally understand why they were banned. However I don't understand why I was banned for metagaming as well when I wasn't communicating with anyone through Discord in any way. I completely understand why the situation might look suspicious from the outside but I've been banned based on an assumption for something I simply did not do. I've been playing on this server for a long time and I'm not someone who goes around breaking the rules anymore. I know very well that if I had been in a Discord VC during that situation something like this could happen which is exactly why I wasn't. I understand that it may not sound convincing but the truth is that I was not in Meta Gaming. As you can see in the clip I'm about to provide, I start laughing to myself after the car explodes. In the metagaming clip that led to all three of us being banned my voice cannot be heard at all which further shows that I wasn't in the Discord call. This incidence happened yesterday, so what happened. And whenever there’s an in-game incidence happens I deafen in discord and start to use radio more or gesture language. Like for example as soon as I closed the door an we are in a red zone area I was quiet waiting for the main person to mug, so like there’s no need to talk in game when the thing is obvious so my clip you will hear my friend is talking and I’m quiet because I was checking if there’s any witnesses around us or no so we don’t fail mug and stuff like that. And then at the end I saw a blue vehicle thought it was a cop so I was panicking and saying there’s cops coming while I was deafend because you can see in the clip I didn’t stop or pause my clip to undeafen and tell my friends there’s cops, and bullets thought that I said cops are coming on discord. And then when I went on top of the roof to call for a pk on the people we mugged, I looked down there’s no cop was around us and that’s when I undeafend and asked for my friends for their clips for the pk so that I can call an admin for an pk. And also Trey Baker who got banned for metagaming he was talking in game while deafened too. Bullets claimed this was meta game as we used info ooc but nothing was done ooc or metagamed. Why should you be unbanned? No metagaming happened here the mugging was all IC and no rules were broken. Any 3rd party Voice / VOIP program is considered OOC while in the server. In order for you to communicate with other players you must use in game chat or voice functions, we added radios for this exact reason. Coordinating anything IC in a third-party voice program is metagaming and will lead to a ban and/or a void of an RP situation. Nothing was coordinated OOC as the person who said the cops are coming run was joking, from the clip bullets has you can see that the mugging was done fully IC with no outside information given or used. I didn't state the point clearly enough and mixed in my opinion with it, so you might have missed the point I was trying to suggest. Which is just 'clarify the rules for coups", Giving a small cushion for random players who are in every other manner said to have no stake in a faction is more or less just my opinion and frankly doesn't undermine the original point of clarification simply for nothing other than moderation and being able to do shit properly in order to prevent flubs/fuck ups due to a fella doing smth wrong., it's also not me saying "lalalala no lying lalala hugbox coup bad mafia bad NO roleplay!!!" of course, it's the mafia, people lie, people do XYZ, i'm not gonna act like people haven't snaked before and will snake again.
