Misunderstanding ban

Why should you be unbanned?: Because it was a misunderstanding and I didn't engage in any form of Metagaming

I'd like to explain what happened. Late last night while I was in the city grinding shipments I noticed that two of my friends had gone out to mug people. Since I was bored I decided to join them to help out. While attempting to mug someone at the construction site we ended up killing the person. A ticket was opened afterwards but because there were no active staff members available at the time so we weren't able to complete the PK. After that I just didn't cared and went to sleep and when I woke up I found out that I had been banned for Meta Game.

As I explained above I simply saw two of my friends out in the city and joined them in their car. During the mugging I was the one who initiated the mug and used In game VC. I had no idea they were in a Discord VC while we was mugging them. One of the two other banned players can be heard speaking in the clip (Tupac) and the other is the person who recorded and submitted the footage (Shrek meat) so I totally understand why they were banned. However I don't understand why I was banned for metagaming as well when I wasn't communicating with anyone through Discord in any way. I completely understand why the situation might look suspicious from the outside but I've been banned based on an assumption for something I simply did not do. I've been playing on this server for a long time and I'm not someone who goes around breaking the rules anymore. I know very well that if I had been in a Discord VC during that situation something like this could happen which is exactly why I wasn't. I understand that it may not sound convincing but the truth is that I was not in Meta Gaming.

As you can see in the clip I'm about to provide, I start laughing to myself after the car explodes. In the metagaming clip that led to all three of us being banned my voice cannot be heard at all which further shows that I wasn't in the Discord call. I understand why Bullets initially banned me along with the others based on how the situation looked but as I've said multiple times, I wasn't in Discord.

I should have been more careful about who I chose to mug with and I also understand why the situation looks suspicious from the outside but as I said I did not engage in any form of Metagaming.

I can confirm everything my friend said. He wasnt aware of the situation and he was banned despite not doing anything wrong. I was the one at fault and I even paid to have my ban lifted. However he was completely innocent. The only reason he got banned was because he came along with us for the mugging but he was never in the Discord VC. The staff member who banned him most likely assumed that he was metagaming with me simply just because he was with us in the mugging but he wasnt, we are sorry for dragging you into a situation like this

thank you for being honest and confirming what i said. I also accept the apology however I did end up getting banned for five days simply because I came along with you guys for the mugging, and that's not a great situation to be in

What my friend said is true there was no reason for him to be banned, Bullets only banned him because he was with us during the mugging

So by the looks of it the ban was a mistake, but you cannot deny the evidence I was provided isn't damning.

You could have push to talk on discord for all I know but from the clip you shared you were giddy as fuck in the mic and I didn't hear you through Flyingcow's video so I think it is fair the ban gets lifted.  Unlike the other two you weren't in a discord call and I made an assumption you were alongside them in the monkey business.

Just took a gander at @Jairzinho's appeal and he claims you were in the discord but "deafened" it is very easy to set up a push to talk and take off discord audio on medal clips, I am still unsure at the time you were metagaming.  But from a guilty mans testimony you were also in a VC with them making your whole story false

I completely understand, and to be honest, I think I would've come to the same conclusion if I were in your position. However, like I've said, I genuinely wasn't in the Discord VC and was only banned because of a misunderstanding.

I understand why, from an outside perspective, the situation looks suspicious and why Tupac's appeal made you think I was in the Discord VC. However, that simply isn't true. I am not the person being referred to as being in Discord. You can see that from both my own clip and his clip. And just to make it absolutely clear, I've never used push-to-talk in my life. It was a misunderstanding, and he meant to mention Shrekmeat as the one who was deafened not me because I was not in the VC during the mugging.
