  1. Past hour
  2. To briefly address and comment on my low play time, I would like to mention that, in contrast with several other applicants, I possess over half-a-years worth of experience not only as a staff member, but a staff member on a Garry's Mod roleplay server (Prometheus Networks) which gives me a large head-start on not only the broader rules and regulations, but also the Nutscript commands and how to use them. Not to mention, I've went through the rules countless times during not only the gaps in roleplay on the server, but in my free-time off of Garry's Mod just out of boredom and curiosity which gives me (in my opinion) a lot of valuable starting knowledge compared to many other applicants who may be vying for a position on the staff team.
  3. They accepted this guy and he had lower time
  4. +1, Playtime is a bit low, but I think if he knows the rules well and he understands the gamemode, let him in. We need more dedicated staff members right now.
  5. After a full review of this staff application, the candidate demonstrates a level of maturity, familiarity, and self-awareness that is appropriate for a moderation position within a Garry’s Mod RP environment. Their tenure on the server, dating back to May 2021, combined with a substantial amount of recorded playtime, indicates long-term engagement rather than short-term interest. This longevity is an important factor when evaluating reliability and understanding of server culture, norms, and recurring issues. The applicant’s stated motivation for applying appears genuine and well-reasoned. Rather than focusing on authority, power, or personal benefit, the candidate identifies a recurring operational issue—namely, ticket backlogs during late-night hours—and expresses a desire to help alleviate that problem. This suggests an awareness of server needs beyond their own gameplay experience. Additionally, their acknowledgment of positive interactions with existing staff members reflects an understanding of the collaborative nature required for effective moderation. In terms of suitability compared to other candidates, the applicant does not attempt to elevate themselves by discrediting others, which is a positive indicator of temperament. Their emphasis on experience within the MafiaRP game mode and their willingness to assist both new and long-standing players suggests they would be capable of handling common player questions as well as more nuanced RP-related disputes. The lack of formal prior staffing experience is noted. The scenario-based responses further reinforce this assessment. The candidate consistently prioritizes evidence collection, proper reporting channels, and impartiality. Their response to off-duty rule-breaking reflects an understanding of staff boundaries, while their approach to handling suspected abuse by fellow staff members—particularly those of equal or higher rank—demonstrates an appropriate respect for process and accountability. Most importantly, their stance on handling tickets involving friends or faction members shows a clear recognition of potential bias and a firm commitment to treating all cases equally, which is critical for maintaining trust in staff decisions. um all in all +1 solid dude would do really good.
  6. +1, I have known Sean for a number of years and believe he is more than capable of performing the required duties.
  7. Me begging Pendred to change the PK song to that's life being met with a stonewall every fucking time. (a stat page wouldnt make someone not leave fyi)
  8. Today
  9. -1 violent terrorist, hired by the iranians in 2021 to fire on president trump in butler, PA. (+1 good guy)
  10. In-Game Name(s): Michael "BamBam" Anderson, Sergeant Juan Padilla, Chester "Chunks" Honkler, Assistant District Attorney Shaniqua Theritrix III Steam Name: Sean Steam Profile Link: https://steamcommunity.com/profiles/76561198356194899/ Steam ID: STEAM_0:1:197964585 Discord Username: seann04 Age: 21 When did you first join the server: May 20 2021 Total playtime on our Servers (Do !time in-game): 3w 6d 12h 5m Time Zone: CST How much time can you realistically dedicate to moderating?: Weekdays, 3-4 hours a day Weekends 5-6 hours a day Have you read the rules?: Yes Do you have a working microphone?: Yes Do you acknowledge that you must meet the weekly minimum ticket quota of 20 tickets? (Unless you have posted a valid LOA): Yes Are you familiarized with SAM and/or Nutscript commands?: Somewhat, willing to learn what I don't know. Do you acknowledge that lying on this application will result in immediate denial and blacklisting from staff?: Yes ------------------------------------------------- Long Answer Questions proceeded with an asterix require a response of 3 Sentences Minimum. What is your motivation/reason for applying?: A lot of times when I am on the server, usually late at night, I see people needing staff for various reasons including myself, and there's not anyone on to take their tickets, or other staff members are in an RP situation. I hope that if I'm accepted I'll be able to assist with any backlog of tickets. It doesn't hurt that a majority of the staff members I've come into contact with are decent people that want the best for the server as well. Why should you be considered over other candidates?: First off, I don't want to belittle anybody applying, or try and prove that I am "better" than them in any way. I simply believe that with my plethora of experience on the server, and in the MafiaRP game mode as a whole I will be able to bring my experience to assist new players, potentially even teaching long standing players something they didn't know before. I have a genuine drive to help the server as a staff member, and have a strong belief that I would be able to help any player with any questions or concerns that they have. Do you have any previous staffing experience? (Please list where, what position and how long): none worth note Have you been banned before on any of our servers? If so, why?: No Would you say that you are well known in our community, what's your reputation, what do other members think of you?: I would consider myself decently well known amongst members of the community. I would say that people most likely have a mixed opinion of me due to the factions that I play. I do not believe that anybody would have a genuine dislike for me, unless they just purely hate everybody in my faction. What is your favourite moment on Diverge so far?: My favorite moment that I've personally had on diverge was probably the weber riots. The pure chaos that culminated from that whole situation was just baffling, and quite honestly hilarious. Have any staff members recommended you? If so, list their names: Hoovis ------------------------------------------------- Problem Solving Detail step by step exactly the actions you would take. Someone RDMs and you are currently off-duty. How do you handle this?: I'd clip the interaction and make a staff ticket like any regular player on the server. You have seen a fellow staff member of higher or equal rank than you abusing fairly often, but never doing anything too noticeable. What do you do?: I'd clip everything possible, when I see them abusing, what they're doing, listing the rule breaks alongside each clip, and make a UA ticket to get the staff member punished properly. A member of your faction / friend of yours has a ticket made against them accusing them of RDM’ing, and minging. You know that this person rarely does this when you play with him. How do you proceed knowing this? Does it constitute possible bias?: I'd take the ticket, listen to both sides as there is no room for bias in a staff situation regardless of relationship, ask for any clips, depending on what the clips say etc I would handle it like any other staff sit, just because we're friends doesn't mean you get a free ride to break the rules. ---------------------------------------------------------
  11. -1 Wouldn't join Lucchese On a real though, seems like too low playtime to think about staffing the server right now from my perspective Well written app, however
  12. My bike goes vroom vroom fn
  13. 1. Yes, several 2. I like turtles but I'm not a big fan of pets who are usually kept in enclosure, so probably not unfortunately 3. Nope, wouldn't join Lucchese if my life depended on it.
  14. I have a couple of questions, do you have a dog, what do you think about having a pet turtle, and have you been approached by the lucchese crime family to join to staff team to use your influence on the inside in benefit of the high table especially with the upcoming racket event?
  15. As I highlighted in my application, my first time playing Diverge was 8 months ago. Prior to the last two weeks-ish, I had really only played in about 45 minute spurts of running around attempting to figure out how exactly to get into a faction and how the roleplay on the server should go. The reason I've been able to get into the server now is because I've had several friends (who are Diverge veterans) introduce me to a lot of people and really show me the ropes of the server and how the roleplay goes. Again, it plays into how I am very new. On the days I can be on Diverge, I would be able to spend upwards of 8 hours a day moderating and roleplaying. On day's I'm unable to be on Diverge, I would be completely cut off. I would approximate that there are (around) 2 days every week I am unable to be on due to IRL commitments as I am still in school and I do (surprisingly) have some sort of a life outside of Diverge. Thanks for the question!
  16. 3days play time in 8months but can do 15-20 hours weekly moderating.
  17. We should add this Maybe even arguably a requirement. A Capo giving permission to an associate to deal drugs is essentially how it already is. Might also add more RP. Good idea
  18. can we add death ending movie please with stats instead of the soulless screen, makes noobs not perma leave diverge after 1st pk and adds more meaning to everyone's RP +100

Total Playtime on the Server: 3d 1h Timezone: Eastern Standard Time (EST+0) How much time can you realistically dedicate to moderating?: 15-20+ hours every week. Have you read the rules?: I have. Do you have a working microphone?: I do, and I am willing to use it. Do you acknowledge that you must meet the weekly minimum ticket quota of 20 tickets? (Unless you have posted a valid LOA): I do. Are you familiarized with SAM and/or Nutscript commands?: I am. Do you acknowledge that lying on this application will result in immediate denial and blacklisting from staff?: I do. ================================================================================================================================= What is your motivation/reason for applying?: To start the application out, I would like to be fully transparent; I am VERY new to Diverge Networks compared to most applicants. Most of my roleplaying career on Garry's Mod have been spent on more political-sided servers such as Prometheus Networks. Although I've been familiar with the concept of the server for quite a while (8+ months), I am not very familiar with the community. I have seriously roleplayed on this server very briefly, starting for a brief time in August/September 2025 and then beginning to play again now for the past few weeks. Despite my significant lack of experience, I have really enjoyed my time so far on Diverge and I have a large desire to become more entangled in the community and become more familiar with the community. From the conversations I've had with members of the community who have much more experience than myself, some of the people who are active on this server have spent upwards of 9 years on the server, which is time that I simply cannot even begin to compare to in both connections, and experience in roleplay. However, in my experience in Garry's Mod, joining the staff team of the server can be one of the best ways to familiarize yourself not only with the player-base, but make friends and connections across the server by helping and assisting across the server and gain very valuable experience and information on how the server operates, the roleplay standards, etc. Aside from the goal of gaining more experience and making connections on Diverge Networks, I also have a passion for assisting people. I have spent a significant amount of my roleplaying career across several different platforms on the staff/assistance team. I really have a lot of fun enforcing roleplay standards, ensuring that everyone on the server can enjoy themselves on the server rather than having their experiences ruined by people who maybe aren't as privy on how exactly they should be roleplaying, or other people who simply have no interest in roleplay and who's aim is to ruin the roleplay for others. Despite my inexperience on the server, I have definitely encountered several instances where people either, 1. are completely oblivious to the rules of the server and how it operates, leading to a roleplay situation being ruined, or 2. only joined the server to minge/troll and have no interest in actually roleplaying on the server at all. If accepted to the staff team, I would love to assist and ensure these situations are less frequent on the server and that players are re-educated or punished if need be when rules are violated. Why should you be considered over other candidates?: I should be considered over other candidates mainly for my exceptional motivation, my knowledge of Nutscript/Garry's Mod functions, and my knowledge and understanding of the rules of the server. Firstly, minus any real-life focuses of mine, I dedicate a significant amount of time and effort to Garry's Mod, with Diverge Networks being my number-one focus at the moment. If accepted to the Staff Team, I plan on not only working my hardest to learn the ropes as a Moderator and staff member of Diverge Networks, but I also plan on diligently learning how the more niche parts and components of the server operates to have the best understanding of the server as possible as a member of staff. Despite other applicants not being very motivated or not being willing to dedicate time and resources to being a staff member, I have the desire, willingness and ability to not only dedicate time to being a staff member on the server, but generally using my abilities as a staff member to better the community and effect the server in a positive manner. Secondly, I have spent a significant amount of time as a member of staff on several different Garry's Mod roleplay servers. Through these experiences, I have come to gain a lot of knowledge and muscle memory when it comes to the Nutscript Commands, along with the functions of staff abilities like the Staff Stick, places like Staff Sits, and other facets of being staff such as general etiquette as staff. Unlike other potential applicants, I possess a lot of knowledge, information, and general experience as a member of staff across Garry's Mod. As a staff member, this would definitely speed up my learning phase as a Moderator, but also assist in decision making when it comes to punitive action or what exactly to do in certain situations or disputes. Finally, I should be considered over other candidates as I possess a better understanding of the rules of Diverge Networks than many other people do. I have spent a good amount of time (more than I'd like to admit) reading and re-reading through the forums pages, examining rules and also just general information pages of all varieties to get a better understanding of the server and the roleplay facets. Do you have any previous staffing experience? (Please list where, what position and how long): I have had several different experiences as staff on roleplay servers across the last ~5-ish years, but my most recent and relevant instance was as a Senior Moderator on Prometheus Networks for 7-8 months. Have you been banned before on any of our servers? If so, why?: I have never been banned on Diverge Networks. Would you say that you are well known in our community, what's your reputation, what do other members think of you?: I don't believe I would go as far to say that I am "well known" by any means in the Diverge community, but I believe that I have an overall good reputation with the people I know and have interacted with. I would say the same for what other members think of me. What is your favorite moment on Diverge so far?: I would honestly have to pick between two. The first one was when I joined Diverge Networks for the very first time, and I had joined the French Mob. As soon as I joined, they immediately gave me a hammer and sent me to the docks to go beat some guy because he owed the mob money. I then proceeded to beat him senseless and, after some threats, he jumped off of the dock and swam away. This really resonated with me because it was, first of all, it was super fun roleplay, but it also sort of set the stage and my overall expectation as to what roleplay would be on Diverge. My second favorite moment was the large riot outside of the PD on the 25th, with all of the tear gas being thrown around and everyone beating one another. I really had fun sort of protesting and getting a different kind of roleplay outside of just making money or doing crime-related things. Have any staff members recommended you? If so, list their names: None to my knowledge or recollection. ================================================================================================================================= Someone RDMs and you are currently off-duty. How do you handle this?: I would start off by clipping the incident with Medal to have proof of the actual RDM. After I have situated the clip and trimmed it accordingly to highlight the incident that needs reporting, I would contact a fellow member of staff, showing them the clip I had gotten as evidence and ask them for a Staff Sit with myself, the staff, and the person who RDM'd me. I would ensure that I personally did not handle the situation myself to avoid any potential bias on my part, along with a proper explanation from a third party that was not involved in the incident in the case of any refreshers of server rules or, if warranted, any punitive action being taken. You have seen a fellow staff member of higher or equal rank than you abusing fairly often, but never doing anything too noticeable. What do you do?: I would ensure every time I witnessed the abuse happen, I would gather appropriate proof of the incident (screenshots, clips, audio recordings, etc.). After witnessing the abuse occur, I would attempt to message them and ask what provoked these actions and what led them to abuse. After trying to gather more information, I would let them know/remind them that their actions would be considered abuse. If the member of staff genuinely seemed ignorant to the fact that their actions were abusive, I may hold off on reporting. Otherwise, if the staff member did not seem remorseful and seemed like they knew it was abuse already, I would show the evidence I collected to a member of staff higher than the individual, most likely a member of Upper Administration. I would continually record the evidence and submit it every time I witnessed it, repeating the process. A member of your faction / friend of yours has a ticket made against them accusing them of RDM’ing, and minging. You know that this person rarely does this when you play with him. How do you proceed knowing this? Does it constitute possible bias?: Once I receive the ticket, I would start off as I usually would do with gathering the evidence and collecting each side's story of the situation. Considering that I would personally know this person in this situation, I would want to avoid any bias decisions or any accusations of being biased. To do this, I would contact another member of staff to get their opinion on the situation and get confirmation as to whether or not he thinks the claims are valid enough for punitive action against my friend. Once I've gotten a second opinion from another member of staff, I would either pass the situation off to them entirely, or proceed with punishment or lack thereof depending on the opinion given by the other member of staff. ================================================================================================================================= Note: As mentioned several times in this application, I am very new to the server! Due to that, there may admittedly be some mistakes or pieces of information unintentionally left out! Any questions, comments, concerns and/or critiques in regards to my application are highly encouraged and greatly appreciated. Thank you very much for your consideration of my application!
