  2. Your ban appeal has been reviewed and accepted. The ban will be lifted from your account shortly. If it was deemed an invalid ban, it will also be removed from your record.
  3. Thank you for applying to the Diverge Networks staff team! It is my pleasure to inform you that your application has been accepted. Submit a ticket on our Discord for training and to get setup.
  4. Hello PKing Admin here! After reviewing the video evidence and the full details of the situation at the time, here is why I did my ruling. The player knowingly took a dropped high-value cosmetic item ($40k), refused to give it back when asked then ran off with it, and then pulled a gun while fleeing. This was a clear case of intentional theft/robbery that escalated into armed confrontation. Relevant rules from the PK Guidelines: Under Mugging / Robbery: Being killed while attempting to mug or rob someone carries the possibility of a PK. Financial Harm: Theft causing significant financial loss (well over the $10,000 threshold noted in the guidelines for harm to a player/faction) is listed as valid grounds. Fear RP & Confrontations: Pulling a weapon during the escape turns this into a violent situation where the victim can escalate because it's not like they can tie them up or get it back. While not every item theft results in a PK (especially minor or non-escalated ones), the troll intent, direct refusal after confrontation, and drawing a gun make this a valid in my eyes under our rules. Staff discretion applies here regardless, and I believe the escalation and value of the item support permanent death. I wish Tables the best of luck in this appeal decision, and that's about it from me.
  5. If you fail to escape the scamming situation the victim may force you at gunpoint (fear RP) to drop the items stolen, in this instance it is not considered a mugging (no PK risk to victim) nor is it power-gaming, failure to comply or attempting to escape and being killed will result in a PK. The first thing you should do when someone scams you is point a gun at them, apply FearRP and demand that they return the item. Chasing someone while holding a gun in safety mode and simply saying "give the item back" does not count as applying FearRP. Because of that i personally believe this PK was invalid
  6. Name of Character: Rocco "The Bomber" Adriano Character ID: N/A. SteamID: STEAM_0:1:434954440 Your Discord ID#: 1101937755568754728 Date of PK: 7/5/2026 Reason for PK: Stealing an item Why should you be unPK'd? What server rule or PK rule was violated?: I picked off a helmet off the floor in Little Italy and I started running away because I thought it was cool. Two SOS ran towards me and chased me asking for it politely without putting me under fearrp. The two then shot at me. From my understanding, if someone is scamming then you need to fearrp someone to get said item back which is what the two did not do at all. The pair KOS'd me. If possible please provide video evidence or photo evidence if PK does not follow the guidelines: https://medal.tv/games/garrys-mod/clips/n3ttbWmfJTxYqUS1U?invite=cr-MSxnaXYsNDI4MTI2MjAy
  7. Caught up in police work? So were you doing events? Were you participating in police work as plainshirt? Was it some special operation given to you by PD HC that required you to be plainshirt?
  8. Today
  9. Touche... This too. Makes sense. My main one was for the defiling apart as that's what prompted me to make this, the rest of the points I just added on the fly. Well said i'd say. A lot of this is minor and pedantic that wont really make a huge difference, as Omerta is right - we can still use the keyboard to do it.
  10. According to the server rules, unless you're a Detective, there are clear rules stating that you cannot respond to incidents while wearing a white shirt, and even if you do, it cannot result in a PK. Lets see what UA says
  11. I was in fact not actively participating in the event, and you can actually check my logs and see I had no kills at that point. I had not yet gotten ammo for my musket, was not wearing the suit, and was not fighting. I got caught up in police work, obviously. This is what we would call "Grasping at straws" Get your wallet out
  12. finally someone enters the kitchen to cook
  13. Imagine joining the RP server and Roleplaying yourself instead of counting on the system to do it for you. The keyboard is *right there* bro.
  14. I know this guy. He’s an absolute fucking troll, and anyone who’s interacted with him knows that. Half the time he’s just trying to get a reaction out of people. But when it actually matters, he knows how to flip that switch and be serious. Sure, his history of notes and bans isn’t the greatest, but I’ve also seen him mature over time. A lot of the best players on Diverge weren’t perfect when they first started either. People learn, and I genuinely think he’s one of those people. He’s a great person to be around, lighthearted, approachable, and understanding. I think he’d be someone who’s willing to listen, learn, and take feedback rather than let his ego get in the way. Coachable staff are some of the best staff because they’re always improving, and I think he’d fit that category. Good luck, akhi. I think you’d do well
  15. i think it makes sense for actions that would need a /me to be seen if that makes sense. You can see someone clearly see who is cuffing someone so it doesnt really make sense for that. When it comes to eating too, i think having the freedom to do your own gives to the RP a lot more then forcing a preset. However, i do agree with the defiling, i think anything that cant be seen and would need to be seen for legal rp for example should have a automated /me bound to it. i also agree to add a /me for restraining since this can be used from just the context menu with no real pointers of whos doing it, currently with how it works you have 0 idea who attempted to tie you when your in a crowd and i think thats a little bit silly
  16. https://medal.tv/tr/games/garrys-mod/clips/n3a2RDRmyWFmGC9op?invite=cr-MSxETXgsNDY5MTEzOTQ0&v=30 As shown in this clip, you're participating in the event and fighting just like every other player. However, you killed me wearing a white shirt without the proper Patrol Officer uniform using an event weapon and then PK'd me on top of that. The rules clearly state that situations like this cannot result in a PK.
  17. an officer got fired for being off duty doing detective shit, you were plain clothes participating in an event which is practically the same and used your radio to call it in which is against rules. but you know since you’re monaclu you can abuse everything and get a slap on the wrist all the time +1 revive my boy
  18. thanks to velocity and Geo_Zeus for trying to help me out, this PK is bs lol
  19. Eating is just going to produce unnecessary logs, and players can and do roleplay eating food through /me anyway - automating it would probably take more away than it gives
  20. the Germans are pretty chill this time of year, I hear the French are ripe
  21. Most other things have it, so consider adding it for the following: When: - Defiling guns (*Uses a file and defiled the object*) - When a cop is cuffing someone / someone is being restrained (*Joe Mecli begins cuffing @Greenghost_906* ; whilst there is an audio cue it would be great to have a /me) - Eating? (*X ate a blue lobster) - When accessing PD terminals (/me X starts using the computer) If there are any others drop em down
  22. I miss you pookie-roe; when are we gonna storm German trenches together?
  23. I'm sorry I'm getting involved in a non permanent appeal case, but this isn't for the ban itself; what the FUCK is your profile picture?
