Actively engaging with your friends in NITRP/RDM activity is still a rulebreak, despite if he was driving or not. Now of course being the driver does have an impact on the severity of an offense or punishment but that's sort of hard to verify when appealing a ban that occurred over a year ago, especially if it was, according to him "false". In the appeal itself the user admits to having, at the minimum, been apart of a group of people who at the time were breaking the rules. So we can acknowledge that the spirit in which he or his friends engaged with the server at the time was not in compliance with our rules. The staff member in question is/was competent so it's very unlikely he targetted someone who did nothing for a permanent ban. Does the length of the ban match the severity? Maybe not! But it has been long enough to afford you a second chance. I'm just saying read the rules and say you'll do good! Food for thought.

"We broke the rules and the admin who banned us sucks." I'd be more inclined to accept this given an apology and a new found understanding of the rules, considering how long ago the ban was. Instead it reads like you held a grudge for a year+ against a guy who isn't even staff anymore. I don't think that's a big ask.

I have had people argue at me that automatic /me's reduce rp because the player isn't doing it themself manually. Also have had complaints that automatic /me's make 'sneaky' actions impossible, which is sort of true, cops will just have an inherent advantage for evidence and what not, would sort of defeat the purpose of a concealed weapon imo. Lastly while i do enjoy adding automatic /me's to things it can be spammed and be rather annoying. Things to consider.

This system does this when calculating things like bail, denying bail if you have too many charges. Adding this function as a means to somehow deter minges doesn't make sense since a minge will simply make a new character and repeat being arrested. I can add charges so if there's missing charges consult with PD HC or bingus/mecli and they can communicate with me to have charges added. I think having arbitrary restrictions to a character to add more and more charges sort of just discourages the existence of long term criminal characters so there's no real reason and the officer/state/judge can just manually look up a person's records and modify the charges based on that... doesn't need to be automatic and remove the RP

Maybe For now you can jam it on the gun or every gun bag will also carry up to 4 attachments alongside a primary weapon.

No real point in differentiating in damage and it's mostly to prevent people from getting into combats with people / police and then instantly running to a stash to hide an item like a cheeky lil rat.

Too much potential risk with item duping Too much risk for bad faith interactions, money transfer, ooc deals, abuse, powergame, fail mug, fail theft Too much administrative strain. Logistical nightmare to retrieve money and return money compensation in the event of a server crash, fail mug, exploit, rule breaker etc. Just use and enjoy /dropmoney

Because it's not designed in that manner to intentionally consider the need to have obstructed view. Otherwise it simply would not be a window. All windows are considered transparent and if players intend to obstruct them then they must use a prop to block it or find a different place to perform their activity. I think the only way the argument to void works here is if the window was the only factor, but it's not, and given the other circumstances in the thread even without the window there's still plenty of the elements that allow the RP to continue imo.

Did you misread my reply? Elements of the world which are inherently part of the map are affected by render distance yes, every player knows and experiences this and it's not client adjustable. But any storage or prop placed by a player is not "deloaded". In this instance the argument being made, i guess, is that the curtains de-load which then reveals the player therefore the information should be voided as some form of meta/powergame. However, I think saying that things should be void because of "deloading" implies there is no physical way to prevent/block windows, this is a concept I contest because player(s) can simply block the entire window, it's not as if blocking view is impossible, it's just that in this instance it's been neglected / not blocked properly.

This is just false, you are looking at parts of the world (map), objects which are not being drawn due to distance and are instead replaced by skybox. Player placed props and storages are not affected by this 'LOD'
