I was contracted by Bao Zen Nosha to mug this a specific person that either left or was unwhitelisted in Takashashi. He said to grab all the Japenese items that they might have and to return them to him. Upon identifying the female and initiating the mug, I noticed that they would not put their hands up. Given the knowledge that they were in Takahashi and I had recently worked at Takahashi, I knew that this individual may be in possession of a firearm. With this in mind, I did not want to restrain the individual without them putting their hands in the air first as a safety precaution. After many warnings for this person to put their hands up had passed, I decided to just end up shooting them because they were not complying with my demands. I don't see how this is pk hunting, given the contract and it's details. I would understand how this looks like pk hunting if there was no reason behind the mugging. If I was just mugging anybody with clothing store items and trying to force a pk. However, I gave them many opportunities to comply with my demands and they did not listen. I run into a problem with having so much clothing in my banks that sometimes it takes me minutes to find a specific item, I feel as it would be beneficial to have that implemented into the bank system.

Perma killed body's instead of being the normal half life 2 which i believe is boring and kind of repetitive, should be swapped for the corpse of the actual player i have seen this done before and it would be cooler for any detective RP to actually have a dead body Infront of him instead of the same corpse over and over. This makes a more immersive kill too, to see the recipient of the PK's actual corpse makes him more identifiable via witnesses too. Doing a whack in a public place carry's the risk of witnesses snitches etc, to have someone be able to point you out "hey that guy was walking with him when he got murdered" makes the hit way more risky anyway it also adds more investigation then just clicking the "E" key and seeing the name of the person of course that will still be the mechanic but it adds a bit more if the cop has IC knowledge of this person has seen them before or was aware of their whereabouts previous to their demise. That's the pro for the detective RP but there is a few cons to criminal roleplay which a lot of people would dislike but i think its more immersive as mafia roleplay has advanced you see a lot more stuff come around and the game get more immersive to the point you cant tell your playing a half life 2 source engine and it feels like you are playing a separate game i think this breaks away from the Garry's mod part of the game and makes it its special game mode i only see benefits to the experience. I cant imagine the code to this is of a lot of difficulty but i could be wrong. opinions?

I'm trying to figure out how and why this is against the rules. The person was noncompliant. Being non compliant during a mugging gets you killed. If you think for any second that a nga from my whitelist isn't strapped with a pm9, THEY are either retarded or your dead wrong - because everyone has a gun. They should not of kept moving on and off and simply just complied with the mugging and it would've never turned to a pk. I understand why "PK hunting" is being brought up due to the lack of restraints being used, but me personally? I'm not getting pked because some retard cant stand still. Stop making rules to make mugging harder, it's part of the game for a reason. Either take it out completely since everyone's so fucking soft - or make it simple and not such a pain in the ass for someone to successfully perform a mugging. After you PK someone your character would have periodic images of the player you killed flash on your screen. It would be completely random and would continue on for the entirety of your players life. Players should have to live with the guilt of what they’ve done.

It would be a cool feature to have a actual "illegal" gambling racket yes you have blackjack in the casinos but in the sopranos and other mob media such as "gotti" or "goodfellas" you see backroom cardgames where they are actually playing cards. To have a actual table where you can actually play cards instead of just hitting 2 buttons, think of red dead 1's mechanics with poker. would make illegal gambling operations an actual problem for cops to deal with and it would be cool to have backroom games where players can actually participate in the card game instead of using a URL to simulate the experience. I have seen addon's such as what I'm describing on the workshop which could work with diverges current add-on list. Hi, so to elaborate more on both the map and the mugging scenario you're referring too: Yes, the bush there is intended as a red zone. It is a high-risk mugging spot. The issues with the mug in question lies more in the seclusion of the mug. As DutchCat had stated, the mugging was not secluded. Initiating in a yellow zone is within the rules, but not with witnesses present. The mug was initiated with 2 bystanders in Line of Sight (LOS) and assumedly both La Trattoria and La Volpe open and operating as businesses. Before tying is even completed, there are now 2 more bystanders - in this instance 2 police officers. Upon completing the tie, there is now an additional bystander. Overall there are 5 witnesses in clear LOS at the bare minimum. To pull some rules for you - 2. You may not mug in a public place, you can, however, pull a weapon on them and bring them to a secluded area to rob them (This can only be done when there is no one else around. 6. The goal of this image is to help reduce fail mugs. It is a good guideline to follow, all rules listed in this section will supersede the map and staff have the final say regarding what is or isn't fail mug in a sit. That is to say that the seclusion rule (2.) supersedes the map's designation of the bush as a redzone, in this case. And from the map itself - Hopefully this works to clear up any confusion around both the outcome of the appeal, and the designation of the location as a redzone. Good morning, I am the administrator that took the ticket for your PK. Upon initial review of the situation, it was clear that you had in fact raided the motel room in question by lockpicking the door. This constitutes a raid in the server guidelines, and dying during a raid leads to a PK. Under normal circumstances, this would be a rather straightforward situation. However, recent information has just surfaced, and a clip has been provided to me by the individual who told you to lockpick the door and assured you that there were no consequences attached to doing so. Seeing as this was a claim you made in the sit, but could not be proven at the time, I believe that further review of this situation is necessary. At this point, the situation is out of my hands, but I will forward the additional clip that was provided by the individual who instructed you to lockpick the door to higher ranking members of the staff team that will be responsible for reviewing this appeal.

What caused my death was late at night I was having a friendly fist fight with my friend is also in Faction and I lost and was pked. Why should you be unPK'd? What server rule or PK rule was violated?: No server rule or pk rule was violated by me that I know of. I believe I should be unpked as I set pk active over 2 years ago and before returning to the server I was told by the Current High Command that I would be able to return and all prior pk orders on me are no longer in affect. I also spoke to Pizzle who originally approved the orders 2 years ago recently around 2-3 months ago who also said I could return to the faction. Current High Command of the Faction can also approve and confirm that there are no active orders on me and are no longer valid. What server rule or PK rule was violated?: First of all two cops shot at my car and i reacted by going all the way from the back to the front to shoot at them again because im an active threat for no reason but since they shot me they made me an active threat, so my friend swam away and i went back to shoot them. The UA can even check logs and see in a span of 2 minutes i went back and shot the cops that shot me for no reason. I will provide two short clips showing and summarizing everything. So in the first clip slow it down to a 0.5 speed and see two guns where fired at me for no reason, and also you can check logs we didnt run any officers down so that they a reason to shoot at us or anything. Because in the rules it states, Officers may not execute suspects, they must make an effort to arrest a suspect when possible render aid to a bleeding suspect. You can't kill someone if they are no longer an active threat between a reasonable pause. Thats when i went to hide to ambush them and in the second clip it shows they were waiting for us near apps to ambush us. general rules - killing rules 6: You may kill in self defence or in defence of your partners/faction/property (Must have F3). When you've been attacked by an aggressor and survive (you did not aggravate or bait them to hit you) you may return with a weapon to kill them. You may not kill someone or escalate a confrontation to murder just for verbal disrespect/argument. -However if someone continues to disrespect you, you may physically intimidate or hit them. (Fists, melee weapon) As continued disrespect could realistically start a fight. The user then has free choice on how to respond/retaliate. If they choose to flee you may not kill them. a. If the user is attacked they may flee and return later (5 minutes maximum) to exact revenge on the assailants as described under killing rule 6. b. If the user is subject to an active threat via knife or gunpoint they can choose to retaliate or instead leave peacefully. +1 solid suggestion, RDR1 being the example is what i like the most, it would be the best system to add into diverge one because of simplicity and two because i don't wanna play URL links, its boring and not worth buying in 50k.
