I asked the admin to teleport my friend that shot me because I was curious why he did that. Turns out he shot me because he wanted me to respawn without cuffs and he didn't know that it can PK me. I've been interested in applying for this role for some time, but I previously didn't have enough free time to dedicate myself to it, and I wasn't fully familiar with the rules. However, I believe I've gained enough experience and knowledge to be ready for the position now. Why should you be considered over other candidates?: I'm always active during the dead hours when the server needs staff members the most, so I believe I could be helpful during those times. I'm able to stay active, help players when needed, and take my responsibilities seriously. I believe my activity and willingness to help others would make me a good fit for this role. What is your favorite moment on Diverge so far?: I had a lot of fun when one of the staff members ran a mini-event, spawning zombies and different monsters for us to shoot at. Luckily, there were no cops on, so we were able to do this "search-and-destroy" type RP with the fellas. We all had heavy guns and just walked around the map hunting down the monsters. Eventually, we took over the hardware store rooftop and just defended that position from the admin-spawned beasts. Late-night activity that saved us from boredom that night. How do you handle this?: If I'm off duty and not using my staff character, I would create a ticket just like any other player; however, if there are no other staff members online and the person is negatively affecting other players' roleplay, I would switch to my staff character and handle the situation properly. You have seen a fellow staff member of higher or equal rank than you abusing fairly often, but never doing anything too noticeable. What do you do? If I see a staff member abusing their powers, I would make a staff report and explain what I've seen. If I have any evidence, I would include it as well. A member of your faction/friend of yours has a ticket made against them accusing them of RDMing and minging. You know that this person rarely does this when you play with him. How do you proceed knowing this? Does it constitute possible bias? For me, my role obligations and friendships are two different things, and I know how to keep them separate. I would handle the situation the same way I would if the person wasn't my friend. I would listen to both sides, look at the evidence, and make a fair decision based on what actually happened. Just because someone is my friend doesn't mean I'm going to defend them if they're in the wrong. I believe it's important to stay fair and do what needs to be done, regardless of who the person is. Everyone slips up. Even our friends.

What do you do?: I would start Clipping and gather evidence of what’s happening first. I wouldn’t immediately go around accusing them of staff abuse if I don't have the evidence to back it up.. If it keeps happening and I have enough evidence to show there’s actually something going on, I’d bring it to the staff management above him and let them handle it. I was going to +1 this but while reading this I notice something under question Age he puts “17 almost 18 in a few months” how ever his birthday is March 18th that’s 5 months and a quarter give or take from now to then. a few months would mean 3 months he would be turning 18 in several months not a few clearly he is lying on his staff app and wouldn’t be trusted as a staff member. Myself and quite a few others have designed IC business cards that we have posted in Discord and have linked to others. It would be nice if we could add a new graphic to the Typewriter to press out little business cards. Then we could hand them out/leave them places and have our cool design pop-up when people go to view them closely.

I played the server for a very long time now, and I understand how the server works for criminal and legal RP. When staff is needed, many staff members refuse to take tickets, even tickets just to spawn a locker and put it in a corner. It's understandable for admins getting tired of doing PK tickets, but if I was able to prove myself. * Why should you be considered over other candidates?: I've played for a while now I understand what people can be confused about the little things and the bigger things for both sides of RP I'll be more attentive to people than others even if someone is wanting to yell and scream in a staff * Do you have any previous staffing experience? If so, why?: My very first ban was for no intent to roleplay and cop baiting. When I first joined the server, I did not expect myself to come back and actually play the server seriously. So, I acted like a retard, which, looking back, was not very smart. All that did was harm the community and ruin the experience for other people. My second ban was for mass raiding. That's when I started playing the server more seriously, but I still acted like I was a moron. Nothing can excuse that behavior. My most recent ban was for metagaming. What happened was that I was going to sell my meth to the NPC at the car dealership when I saw my friend getting picked up by two strangers. He was saying, "Put me down," but staff deemed that I was metagaming. I am truly sorry for the things I've done. I'm a lot more mature than I was a couple of months ago, and I understand that my past actions negatively affected the community and other players' experiences. Would you say that you are well known in our community, what's your reputation, what do other members think of you?: Many members like and dislike me. Some like me because they see that I bring good RP and a fun experience when I'm around. People that know me can vouch that I do /me to bring more RP into a scenario, like picking up a cup or scooching a chair in after I just got out of it. But there's many people that I have wronged in my past that may still have ill opinions about me, and I wish to change that and prove to them I'm not the person that I was before in the past. * What is your favourite moment on Diverge so far?: My favorite moment in Diverge was a huge event when Pendred gave a Russian Super Admin for helping him code something, and they gave everyone crazy guns, ray guns, and spawned in a bunch of NPCs to fight. It lasted for about an hour. Another moment was when I got made in my very first criminal faction. It's a very special moment that everyone will hold when they get made into a family. When I helped a GM named Yugi during his event, he was a criminal who kidnapped a Cassano-made person, and I had to help him hold down the Harbor from the Cassanos. It was an all-out firefight. You have seen a fellow staff member of higher or equal rank than you abusing fairly often, but never doing anything too noticeable. What do you do?: I would take clips of them doing these actions. I would make a UA ticket to report them or send it to Canadian or Pendred. Staff abuse is not fair to the community in any way, shape, or form. A member of your faction / friend of yours has a ticket made against them accusing them of RDM’ing, and minging. You know that this person rarely does this when you play with him. How do you proceed knowing this? I would not take the ticket because of bias, which can get me in trouble and get that person who made the ticket, which is my friend, in trouble as well. I would contact another staff member and ask them if they can take the ticket. But if I was the only staff member on, I would take the ticket, get both sides, get clips, check damage logs, and get a second opinion from a staff member of a higher or the same rank as me. That's how I would handle the situation.
