Our faction is based on a real-world group (The Galician Mafia), meaning we will have ties to real-world history. In the 1970s, the Galician Mob began using fishermen to smuggle cigarettes through European borders and into Spain. With boats leaving from the US allowing for a state-based monopoly, the individuals stationed in New York will continue to do what their ancestors did before them, getting cocaine from New York and pushing it back out into the waters under the disguise of fishing. Through the 1980s, the pressure continued to rise on American drug markets and cartels. The Galician Mob continued to utilize these established routes, shifting their focus to more lucrative items such as money laundering and the infiltration of politics, individuals in power, and legal networks. Apparel The faction has the intention to wear a relaxed clothing scheme. We will not force our members to wear certain apparel, opening the door to individual diversity in terms of custom apparel, etc. However, at times we may wear suits during certain roleplay situations. We have no issue with members wearing relaxed clothing as long as it doesn't stray too far from our factions ethnicity. Restaurant We’d like to turn the West Side Drug Store into our restaurant of choice. We have the intention of having the interior altered and changed for our purposes, as our faction has background ties to “fishing,” and we’d like to explore that side of the server in terms of fishing on the docks. Our intentions are angled toward the idea of fishing as a whole, as it ties into our background. Faction Goals Fishing wasn’t good enough for us—working too hard and getting not enough in terms of pay. We have the intention of distributing our racket through the city. Our goals consist of importing and exporting useful items through New York, making money, and possibly being in a position of power within the city. On a side note, we’d like to push out weekly fishing competitions highlighting the fishing side of New York. We aim to provide for our fellow fishermen and push forward the fishing community, whether that be giving out prizes and rewards to those who compete, or having a custom DUP for the area when we go through with it. We would like to smuggle weaponry and illicit substances obtained in New York back to Spain/Mexico for profit. Hiring Process Instead of hiring white shirts off the side of the road, dressing them, and forcing them to work in Don Pez, we plan to make sure they are a suitable fit for the faction—maybe taking them out to the docks for some fishing. Having them prove themselves to our ranking infrastructure, or even putting them to work after a small but necessary screening process. After all, Don Pez is well known for its diversity in food, taste, and employees. In terms of the screening process, we will have our soon-to-be employees out completing small tasks for us, such as making deliveries, handling any outstanding debts we may be owed, and showing not only their worth but their value. We’d like to explore the roleplaying aspect of the server more thoroughly in hopes this creates an even better environment in terms of faction-to-faction talks. So im just going to get this over with feeling nothing towards a denial of my application. Before i start. I was never the owner. I was a mascot. I am alos no longer part of the dev team of the said server as i got tired of 5m and had to focus on my irl business. There is really is no reason to unban me unless the UA feels like being kind. I would like to see this type of faction in the city. However, your unique rp examples document is very limited. You need more unique ideas there, and ideas more related with scary, demonic, etc type of events. The backstory is really interesting, but you should implement some of those things in actual RP, even if your character is not behind bars anymore. I feel like your faction needs more bloodied events, to instill fear in the city and in other players, to make people doubt about things they are seeing. For example, you could invest inn gore related revents or even in gruesome crime scenes, and make a name for yourself, leaving your mark. For every crime you commit, then you would leave hints as to whom really committed such crimes. But then again, this is just my feedback and you might have other things planned (similar or opposite to this). Overall, I am a +1 for this as it would bring another aspect of RP we have not seen so far, or at least so present.

Police Corruption: Being Corrupt does NOT mean you are doing criminal acts, that means working on the inside of the PD with criminal factions. You cannot just openly commit crimes on that police character. If you want to be a criminal, make a criminal character. As soon as you put yourself in a corrupt situation it is possible to be PK'ed. You may not false arrest people or invent crimes they didn't commit. You may not plant evidence on people to have them arrested without Admin approval. This requires corruption rp in conjunction with a criminal faction who have proper reasons to frame or PK that person. You may not enact vigilante justice. You may not perform hits. You may not mug people or commit any other obvious general crime as stated in the first line of this sub section. You may beat suspects or use excessive force. (At the risk of potential PK retaliations if it's continued or targetted) (Do not beat them to Death, this is RDM) You may accept bribes, letting people into areas or scenes they shouldn't and other undercover corruption that may apply. (IA may investigate and suspend / Fire Officers) You may not distribute confiscated weapons/drugs/contraband or anything obtained from your police locker for reasons of balance, powergaming and metagaming Officers ranked Captain+ are considered NYPD High Command and are not permitted to be corrupt You may not act corrupt for a faction you are apart of or are allied with on different characters. Using your rank to abuse or meta for a family you are apart of or are allied with on other characters is strictly forbidden and can result in severe consequences for anyone involved. SOP violations are not corruption, corruption means breaking the law. An action that does not break the law but violates the NYPD SOP is not considered corruption. alright @bigwillyhumper69, youve inspired me. this is basically a copy and paste of my previous ramble the mansion AREA (strip that leads up to it and mansion itself) can be rehauled into a "industrial" block it doesnt need to be pretty could be literally anything lower end like townhouses, factory buildings, convenience/liquor stores OR could be a "Wallstreet" like block with professional buildings / luxury restaurants a potential mini world corp/legrand to make the nostalgia slaves shut up OR another urban area more clubs / bars / entertainment like a block LITERALLY the ideas and potential over there is insane (now this is in theory as well of HOW MUCH the area can fit truly) obviously nothing happens overnight + mapping takes work!! a new area of properties could really shake up things for new coming factions or existing ones to move elsewhere changing up the environment and day to day political environments were use to also this would provide just more general stuff in the northern end of the map as it is imo incredibly dead no reason to go over there unless you’re one of the few that has to own a property there (Even still people who own gas station etc never use it nor are ever open since its so dead) (this change would be benefiting all nearby buildings to continue RP to the area (7/12, gun store thats never used but can be with this change adding relevance, warehouse, laundromat, etc) overall would be a major update / upgrade to the northern side the mansion could be "under utilized" but there's realistically only so much you can do after you use it a few times, obviously a little bit more you could do BUT its owned by the government which never uses it and when you rent it youre under government watch and limited to what you can use the building for (so mainly GM events are the only thing left to be done there) overall theres just way more to gain and benefit the entire community with something the people can utilize and move around not a fat chunk just sitting there (its pretty much the old maps harbor warehouse that was in the far corner just sitting there the gov mansion corner/area is a ghost town.)

Ever since I pk'd that dude, he's just been spam dumb reacting my posts and my faction mates posts. I get it, you're mad you got pk'd (even though you metagame'd and said literally EVERY Commission faction out loud, not looc'ly, to some random) but you're making my reputation go to the negatives and I do NOT fw it. everyone that played on Miami misses it dearly, myself included. Miami died because the server simply didn’t have enough people playing on it and people eventually returned to south side (it was familiar for them) with all this money pendred has been making from the custom content a gmod YouTuber can be paid to advertise diverge. This would bring in an influx of new players, so many that Miami could be added back and be alive once again. The new players would eventually get hooked on the server (because Miami was amazing) and begin to spend money. This is a fabulous investment opportunity!
