Back when I played this server frequently, I was very immature and would just go around calling everyone the n-word, go on random mugs and troll. I was mostly focused on making money and robbing people on my main character and did stupid stuff on my alts. In this time I did really enjoy the roleplay aspect of the server, but I did break the rules on occasion by accident. Although I did try to avoid getting into these situations and breaking the rules, but I was always doing something stupid and would always get caught up. I've been banned now for a little over a year and I want to say that in this time i've really stepped away from gaming for the most part and matured as a person. I really do miss roleplaying on this server and all the fun I've had. If I get unbanned, I plan to roleplay and add to the servers experience instead of take away from it. If I come back to the server I won't be mugging at all, shouting at people for no reason, or breaking any rules. I plan to join a mafia again, meet new people and have the same fun I had when I started without being immature and making rash decisions. I really do regret all the stupid things I did in this server that led to me being perminately banned and I apologize for them. If this does get accepted I just wanna say that I will be coming back to the server with a different headspace. Not someone who wants to mass mug and minge, but someone who actually wants to enjoy what the server has to offer instead of just troll people. Also, for this specific ban in question, I came into the PD and started shooting at like 3-5 cops that was arresting one of my friends and ended up accidentally shooting him aswell. I was on an alt character being stupid and just trying to find any reason to kill someone and didn't realize that killing cops inside of the pd is considered a pd raid. Even though I was just being stupid, I genuinely was trying to stay within the rules of the server as I had just came off a permanent ban. In this particular situation, I was trying to kill the cops and save my friend but I clearly wasn't thinking straight. I had no intention of doing an "Unauthorized pd raid" and didn't even know that that was a thing. Since playing on this server i've matured a lot and will be coming back in a completely different way. If I get another chance to be apart of this server I can promise that I will contribute to this community. No more minge, muggings, harassing people, and doing stupid stuff. I will be coming back strictly to roleplay and have fun with the people in this community. Like I said previously, I've read the rules a few times over and can almost recite them by heart. I enjoyed the time I had on this server and it would mean a lot if I could comeback. I apologise to all the people I came at for their race, religion, gender, etc while playing this server. I would like a clean slate and I promise I won't let anyone down if I get unbanned. It has now been more than a full year where I have been banned from Diverge and I still think about this server. Diverge has never really left my system and this is due to the amount of time I had invested into it as well as me nearly spending 3 years playing. I have around 4 months playtime and most of my hours on GMOD came from me playing this server. As I stated before, my ban stemmed from the completely unacceptable behavior that a server like this wont tolerate. On my first permanent ban appeal, I was unbanned on the claims of no longer exhibiting the behavior but 6 months later I was re perma banned. I was mad like anyone else would be but once my appeal got denied by James, I understood. I am not commemorating what I was doing but I will say that I had fun. Regardless I have seen the consequence trough me being perma banned and I can say I regret the metagame which lead to my permanent ban as well as the behavior I showed the server. No matter how little the rule break was it still gave me an unfair advantage and my IC/OOC actions had consequences like when I stalked Bonnano chars, trough what I knew OOCly, and then ratted them to Kosher about them planning a robbery which began the whole Olympus and Commission giga war, that never happened. I have never told anyone about how I got ahold of this information and it was 50/50 metagamed but I only snitched once they said something in game. My reason for snitching was because I knew it would cause some conflict and it in fact did. Not because I wanted Kosher to fight back but only because I wanted a conflict to fight in. This is not my first perma ban appeal and despite the 1 year that has passed I am still persistent on trying to return to Diverge since gmod is easily on my top 5 of games. Majority servers are the same Dark RP slop aside from a few serious RP servers. Gmod Dark RP servers are so saturated, its depressing trying to find another server that has different roleplay and genuinely can captivate my attention. As I have said before, there is not another server like Diverge and it's gun, law, and roleplay system. I do not intend on being as active as I was pre-perma but I want to at least get on from time to time to play so I can experience something different than the hundreds of Dark RP and Clone Wars RP servers there are. At the end of my last appeal Canadian said "Your ban record is quite extensive and I don't feel comfortable with giving you another chance sans conditions". Those conditions were I pay for an unban or I wait longer to remake another appeal. I not only waited the 6 month period but 2 more for a total of 8 months. I am deeply apologetic to harm I caused. I will hold myself for contempt but it has been a full year and I ask may I please receive another chance. Additional Information (images, videos, etc):

Hello! There seems to some confusion around this whole situation. First off, you were breaking NLR and that should have been handled by staff. Second, they did try to have you PK'd prior for the mugging. Both of these would been invalid reasons. You were then PK'd for not valuing your life. While this is a reason to be PK'd, it doesn't exactly apply in this situation. With that being said, your character will be restored. I hope you take this second chance at life to become a more valuable contributor to RP! Your appeal has been reviewed and accepted. Your character has been reinstated and can be used again.

A revamp to the 911 system. It would introduce a new job to the police department as a dispatcher. When you call 911 instead of just typing in the chat you would be talking to a dispatcher who would then dispatch an officer to the scene. Would greatly improve police roleplay.

Haven’t kept up with Hans much ever since the ban but based off our more recent conversations it seems to me like he has changed since those days. Definitely not as excitable as he once was. Would love to see him get another chance to redeem himself.

Hello! Banning admin here. First, you did commit RDM. I personally went light with it and only gave you an over arching one when you in fact shot several people not involved at all. Shown in your own clip you shoot multiple bystanders who didn't even have weapons out on safety! Much less were an active threat to you. Escalation rules from the killing rules always apply. This second POV shows it even clearer. They had just left the building, were trying to leave, and you just shot them. Here. Second, the RDM bait. You already have multiple POs for it. I would hope you know the rules around it better. You were being purposely antagonistic to evoke the reaction you got. They gave you countless chances to leave their property which you took as an invitation to escalate. This is again proven by your own clip. You know you are purposefully pissing them off, and you begin to hover your gun before anyone gets physical with you. The second they give you a reason to shoot you begin shooting well, everyone, even those not involved. This is your fifth offense for RDM bait. I hope you take this time to actually read the rules this time. Finally, staff are not required to pull you. I was given the clip which was clear RDM. Upon investigating your notes I saw you already had an extensive history for the exact same offense. Me pulling you achieved nothing other than hearing you give the same excuse you give here. I genuinely hope you take this time to reflect and return. Come back to us as someone who actually wants to RP and contribute to our community. Good idea in theory, but what happens when no one is there for dispatch bc no one wants to just sit around? Also might lead to mega gaming by people recognizing others voices through the phone. Unless it was just texting. -1 for now just because I see the appeal but the negative outweighs the good

the biggest source of non actionable meta gaming in garrysmod mafia roleplay is the tab menu (FACT). I understand the implications of removing it from non staff characters but i believe the benefits ultimately outweigh the negatives. To check on your specific org instead of the regular tab menu on the business tab of your f1 menu shows the tab menu of just your faction (PD, Crim, civ, etc). thanks for reading.
