Why should you be unPK'd? What server rule or PK rule was violated?: My intentions were not to mug or partake in the mugging, i was merely just standing by and watching and observing. i was not trying to partake in the mugging as i was really just along for the ride and merely seeing what was going on. Again this is my first time playing the game so i don't know what was going on and really was just watching and witnessing. for i had worked real hard to make a grind and join my current faction and i feel i was falsely lead into this trap that now led to me being PKed.

  2. People hate it because you can lose items and suffer character destruction. People are punished for breaking the rules around mugging (which there are many) because each mug and the context behind it is generally nuanced. Using it to target people for pks (engaging with it in bad faith) using alt characters to mug avoiding all risk, only mugging and not roleplaying as a symptom of dark rp brain. Mugging is an integral part of criminal aspects of the server and even as controversial as it is or has been it remains a part of the game, but it has recognizably flawed attributes which are mediated and covered by rules. Engage with it properly and don't be surprised if you get banned for breaking a rule. Placing a bounty and incentivising people to mug someone where the explicit goal (incentive) is to get that person pked? (Circumventing roleplay and mass target mugging them in hopes they make a mistake and get penalized) The very nature and goal being to inflict harm and ruin the other persons roleplay. People will be understandably upset if they feel they were subject to unfair, ooc motivated, non rp driven targetting

  3. tldr its because we don’t have a 1 crim 1 legal char system. people don’t wanna risk the stuff they have had for a while so they use alts to not risk anything major.

  5. It usually depends on who you mug and how I've personally mugged a few people and I don't think anyone hates me for it lol? It's usually hated when all you do is mug or make it your "personality" in the server, mugging someone once in a blue moon is fine but just doing it multiple times a week, is to me absurd

Name of Character: Silvio Corleone Character ID: 178116 SteamID: 76561198894711389 Your Discord ID#: thomasvillano Date of PK: 11/25/25 Reason for PK: Allegedly leaving the faction Why should you be unPK'd? What server rule or PK rule was violated?: Put in a retirement to focus on OOC issues, was kicked from all related discords with no communication, decided to come back and continue playing, got a message in discord to meet up in an apartment for a meeting, and died. I never left the faction in any capacity and I'm aware I was disliked by HC towards the end of my character's life due to OOC drama and I feel as though that contributed to the events of today. The Cassanos have a long history of killing members with no logical IC evidence or reasoning. If possible please provide video evidence or photo evidence if PK does not follow the guidelines:

  17. Currently the warning you get when joining a Faction (shown below) is a blanket warning applying to all factions allowing no individuality in what factions stand for. What I am proposing is adding a box to this warning which the boss of each family can assign specific rules to which new recruits must agree to when joining a faction. This would allow factions to specify what they expect of their recruits so there's less surprise when people get PK'd for doing stupid shit. A few examples would be specifying that a certain faction doesn't allow mugging or allow drug trades etc etc.

  18. You were PKed for 2 reasons, both of which occurred in a short period of time. A long term made man vouching that you lockpicked inside of our own hotel Carrying and waving a firearm, with a scratched serial number and while not holding a license, around our most active property First is obviously an issue and the second is blatantly against family rules, as well as just not being how we want/expect anyone in the faction to act. Especially at a property that is at times heavily observed by police, although I think that should go without saying considering you seem to understand the size of the faction. A large part of this life is keeping anything illegal that you do lowkey, out of the view of outsiders in order to prevent attention/heat being brought to the family. These 2 things in such a short period of time led to one of the Don's trusted making the decision to whack you out of the faction. Here is the agreement you accept whenever joining a faction, warning of what may come. Ultimately it just didn't work out and I wish you luck in whichever faction you end up staying in.

  19. Hey, i put the orders in for this. I was informed of this IC but was not aware he had died. However, it sounds like you killed him during the mugging after he complied, making it failmug. Which should as far as i'm aware, invalidates his death.

  24. What a fucking mess. Maybe learn how to RP and what these factions are before playing around drunk in and out of game trying to exploit the system for your gain. Not just trying to be a jerk but look at how you lash out at others here and take little shots at the community/people involved just because you don’t want to take responsibility for your own actions. Actions you’ve admitted to yet walk back multiple times and try to put off on other people you’re attempting to lean and put pressure on OOC. Super disrespectful and just shows your character IRL/outlook toward a game you WILLINGLY participate in. These guys have the patience of saints to deal with people crawling back like this throwing toxic sludge every direction just to see what can stick and maybe corrode the rules just enough so they can slime their way back in. Just like the real world, kids, don’t go joining gangs unless you want to maybe face an early retirement.

  25. The age should definitely be a tillable area just like description. If you guys don’t wanna do birthdays and have us age as time goes then let us at least do our own thing and set our ages. People sometimes tweak their characters to fit things better; many of us/most have done it. Being able to set age wouldn’t affect anything but being able to age properly in RP.

  27. Sometimes, the grind is just incredible like that. I get complete tunnel vision. I understand it's a bit of a dumb mistake to make. I'm just saying, once I realize the product won't finish and I cut it too close, I should be able to at least pick up my processor. It's not like I made a poor roleplay decision; it's a limitation of the game and the system. I'm only trying to increase quality of life for players and minimize losses for simple mistakes. I understand not everything is easy to implement/change but it's worth exploring to me, considering this isn't the first time I've heard of this happening. (It's just the first time it's happened to me.)

  28. I gotta say, I have not been in this server super long- but I have been very active; active enough to have seen plenty of Maggie Finch and the quality of RP this player brings. While generally friendly and decent inside the context of RP interactions, I have seen blatant examples of character-crossing metagame type action. Also, let's be frank- bleeding hearts are not very good at content moderation. Metagaming will go rampant and moderation will be based on fee-fees rather than actual rules that matter. Nobody wants to have their tone, language, and irrelevant bullshit moderated. I can see clear as day that you would participate in these bias activities just based on the small power flexes I've seen you make in Legacy. Just look at the past Player Reports on this individual. It's sad to say this, because I feel she gets *some* unwarranted flak but then I see some retaliatory or even initial behavior that makes feel much less sympathetic/empathetic. tl;dr abso-fucking-lutely not. Sorry, babe.

  29. Is this intentional? I know I should have paid more attention, but I was on the grind with laundry and ended up having product stuck in the wash right before restart. Lost my processor and my product. Real serious bummer. If this isn't intended, and we are supposed to be stopped from processing during restart, that measure seems to be broken or at least glitched to where the server ate mine up. I couldn't pick up the processor or anything to prevent it once I saw that my product wouldn't finish before the last minute ended. Now, I'm stuck skiing out to barge and taking a loss on my trade. Sad day.

  30. Showing if someone had a weapon out, had shot a weapon, had lockpicks, etc. would be good. It's called FORENSICS. Tells you what the person was doing when they died just as much as how they died. Gives you a clear idea of what happened and why. Which is supposed to be the point of an investigation...

  31. Even though you took an indirect shot and I don’t like your outlook, I do agree that adding this to maybe cut down your processing time could be good. 5 minutes if I’m just chilling but maybe half as long if I’m willing to go hands-on and play the “mini game” or whatever. This COULD actually affect RP and make it to where I go back and fourth between guarding my shit and actually then focusing on breaking it all down. With W for example; auto-trimmed buds IRL are decent enough but there’s nothing quite as good as a hand trimmed bud. Maybe you can even make a bit more money or get extra for hands-on processing? Don’t mean to overcomplicate it but it could be an okay OPTION.

  34. Pickle sniffer, get over yourself. You’re delusional. It’s just a serious RP server. You haven’t read all the rules and wrapped your head around the social dynamics or how the RP flows. You’re egotistical and tied to your OOC personality too much for this hobby. If you can’t RP and you want to LARP and replace being a chapped tit in real life with a digital gangster avatar, go to FiveM. If you’re serious about learning the game and doing some serious RP/having fun and immersing into a fictional world/characters stick around and stop being a piece of shit. You haven’t earned the right to guard a door with your attitude and level of experience exhibited in your forum posts, nevertheless trying to be a Don. You’re delusional at this point. No wonder you’re wandering mad. Why don’t you go back to those old communities you were such a big guy in? I bet there’s reasons.

No, not all the gear is just issued to officers for free. Crazy, I know. At least they don’t pay for their vehicles and get gas cards/uniforms.

  42. I don't want to have to use languages to say OOC shit privately near people. My character is not saying or thinking those things. I propose implementing an Out of Character Whisper so we can exchange sensitive information/reminders OOCly to people near us that others cannot overhear and abuse for metagame/abuse. Things like "pager"(Discord) invites are primarily what I'm thinking but there are other examples I can't drum up on the spot. Please consider, my friends. Thank you all for reading.

  43. Hi, I'm so glad you asked. There's a lot of nuance that goes into it, and I'll focus on the player perspective rather than the staff perspective for the most part. Generally speaking, muggers are not actual longstanding characters who gravitate towards intense actual real RP. For instance, take a streetboss. Would a streetboss mug someone? Some would, but most of them wont. Would a kapo? Some would, most wont. In these roles, theres an extreme necessity to maintain your character so you can keep RP going smoothly within your faction. You're important. Your loss is devastating. Even for people who are associates who are high earners, and do a lot of restaraunt RP and RP with other factions, the loss is devastating. What *typically* happens, is muggers are people who dont care if they are pked at all. Like, when was the last time ever in the last 3 years, have you seen a mugger appeal getting pked? You haven't. Typically, they just dont give half a shit. And you might say, "Well, they know that they are cooked." But so do the people who break fear RP. It's cut and dry. Open and shut. Same with dons orders. But they all try to claw their way, bend the rules trying to get unpked. The only group that tends not to actually even care enough to appeal are people who mainly mug. Because the work that goes into re-obtaining your wealth is literally getting a pistol and a friend. For non muggers, its rebuilding, running drugs for weeks, doing actual RP to re-establish themselves in the community, oftentimes theres a rank restriction for upper faction members. It's very out of balance. Now, is that to say all muggers are like this? Obviously not. You have plenty of actual, real players who really RP a lot who do muggings. Take for instance, the colombos. Very dedicated players, very good RP. Some of them still mug. I've seen higher ranking colombos mug, to send a message. To gain something. It's relevant to their RP, they're not just "me want suit, me rob 12 people." When they're not mugging, which is often, they're doing actual roleplay and embellishing themselves into the community. Shout out colombos Also, to consider, even in instances in which someone isn't a mugging character , i.e. they've been around for a month and havent touched mugging at all, and then decide to mug, there's still a massive perceived power imbalance. Who do muggers target? People with the nicest suits. Oftentimes, its characters that are months and months, if not years old. The risk for the mugger is seen as much smaller. Now, from a staff perspective, that doesn't matter at all. But to the community, it matters a lot. From the staff perspective, our job is to try and balance the community perspective with the fairness of the rules. So we assess a lot of things when we decide whether or not someone who is mugging a lot is actually doing stuff that would justify them mugging so much. Are they roleplaying? Are they well established? We'll watch them, keep an eye on them. If all they do when they're not mugging is minge and be a retard and not actually put any real effort into roleplaying, then obviously its an extreme problem. Because you tip the scale to "Worthless" in terms of cultivating a really nice roleplay environment. Obviously, people mugging is fine. I actually encourage mugging. I think it keeps things generally fun for players, and adds actual risk. Same with police existing. Obviously, you need risk from other criminals and police otherwise this game is just cookie clicker. Pick up drugs, sell, rinse repeat until you can get a really cool suit and walk around town. That's boring. Nobody wants to admit it, but the police and hostile criminal RP is incredibly important to the experience of the player. But, in your case, you were more of the "Worthless" category.
