So first of my don was getting arrested after he just ran someone over, which is a felony because he was on drugs, and also the cops had grounds to breathalize him for reckless driving. If the cop were to breathalize Jar and see that he was on cocaine, it would be a felony after previous convictions of being on cocaine in public. When he went to jail for being on coke, they said if he tested positive for coke again within 2 weeks, it'd be a felony, and I didn't know whether or not he was on coke at the time. Simply put, a car wash would be a great addition to the city. A good job for civs or even side job for crims/off duty LE/government. A lot of us RP getting gas and other things with our cars. It could be a great meeting place for people. Socializing or even solo RP, a reason to "make a quick stop" or even somewhere to do a quick deal "hiding in plain sight". Everybody in the hood loves the Car Wash. Any takers?

I have played games with RP servers that used “RPA” Roleplaying Administrators who exist with the lowest level permissions simply to do RP events and help mediate RP scenarios; could even help mitigate some of the lesser staff tickets that Admins don’t want to deal with or don’t require as much oversight. +1 at the very least to OP. Great ideas, for the most part, if not entirely great.

Please add Money Rain to the City, I think it would really improve roleplay and earning money is really hard as there’s practically no way to make money please I’m so broke please rain money on me please just a big money rain cloud right over my character when I log in and disappears when I log out maybe a cooldown when I’m around people so they don’t get jealous please just consider this it will help your server. Seriously, is there any way that the server could start seeing dynamic weather in the future? Rainy days, storms, severe thunderstorms, etc? I do remember something about the snowfall during the winter map actually being difficult to implement because of gmod limitations but I really don’t know anything about developing for source/gmod. I was playing some open world game that had a bad storm roll through and I instinctively started to use shelter/cover to wait it out and do activities indoors. It was pretty damn immersive so it has me curious about adding this to the Southside somehow. If it’s a pain in the ass due to gmod limitations, I understand. Things are always changing so how about just roleplay and try to be smart? Some of these tips in the meta game are ok but maybe it is better to have newbie criminals who haven’t been given orientation from a faction fall into the newbie trap. There’s always going to be a learning curve, either way, and the goal post will never stop moving as features are added/changed. Just don’t treat it like real life, leave your ego at the door, play your character somewhat seriously if you actually care, and don’t be too upset when/if you die or lose shit. Even the best of us take Ls or make dumb choices. A Sicilian proverb comes to mind. “Unu sbagghiu si po’ perdonare, ma du’ è ‘na scusa.” (“One mistake can be forgiven, but two is an excuse.”) This implication is that making the same mistake twice shows carelessness or intention, which is less forgivable, even if at times we play tongue-in-cheek (I know some people take this less seriously, even. I know it’s not real fucking life.) It aligns well with Mafioso culture’s emphasis on accountability and learning from errors. So, it fits to keep a clear head in character AND out.

I guess I just don’t understand the rules for this “war”. I thought PK was not a possibility when you exhaust efforts to find someone and they’re inside. We have fully discussed potential raids for targets (if/when targets are stacked) and have been fully prepared for raids from opposition when we are suspected to have targets harbored in our own. We never thought PKs or bans would even be discussed as a result of this. Unreal, the AFK farm prevails. Very cool event. A conflict escalated from OOC issues turned into a shoddy and ill-conceived war, with harsh punishments for violating flaky rules. +1 this guy wrote the fucking rulebook on Mob RP. Anyone supporting this should be ashamed.

Hello as someone that was a victim of your mass rdm I can confirm that this is not true. Not only am I refuting that you should be unbanned I am also taking this time to say that you and the three people that you raided with should be killed as per server raid rules. First the Mass RDM, rules per the conflict as as follows. Properly identify your target, ensure you ID the target by actually seeing the red target under their name (some exceptions apply). Do not shoot random people that may fit the vague description you are giving. RDM can lead to a ban and loss of points to your team. [SEE IMAGE ATTACHED] The only time you don't have to confirm the red text is if your target is sitting. (They match the description AND there is no other possible target around) According to your own clip it is very obvious you all just wiped the entire room of everyone in there and did not confirm the kill or have any sense that someone may be your target. It seems your plan was to kill everyone in there, go to hospital/pharmacy and clean up, and this is confirmed by my clip. now that your mass rdm is confirmed and cleared up lets talk about the validity of your raid and why I believe you and your friends should be pked. This will NOT be considered a raid (no PKs) but you may have to demonstrate to a staff member you had cause to enter. Randomly raiding buildings without cause can lead to a PK. What I believe your own clip failed to do was PROVE you had reasonable suspicion to enter the building as per the event rules and raid properly. Because of this it is clear you three should be pk'd until this proof is verified. Our side has verified targets are where they are before raiding, the second rule of this is very vague and all of commission is hiding in the warehouse and even the staff member Mango seemed reluctant to say we could raid if we searched the area and not be pked, it is a very vague rule. I have more clips supporting this evidence and ask UA contact me if they wish to see them as I would rather not post other peoples clips for them.

Hello I'm the player that reported you, I will be honest yes I was communicating before I joined them ( They said they needed backup but in your clips you see at least three faction members) when I came at The Callaghan warehouse I decided not to actively be a bodyguard ( joining the group instead opting to hang back a fair distance so I couldn't be seen as actively bodyguarding) I feel like this is not entirely your fault as personally if someone came round the corner in the same uniform id probably shoot them too however i will say i wasn't actively preparing to shoot you at all more coming into an alleyway could lead to me being mugged so I was preparing to safety my weapon as not too be put under FearRP and mugged, also i was under the impression you'd already been killed due to the gunfire and was more curious as to what was happening then going to engage. Sorry for any distress caused

Hello banning admin here, thanks for taking my advice and trying to work things out here with me. To start, multiple reports came in for MRDM, I wasnt exactly sure what to think, but upon reviewing this clip here. I was questionable what exactly was going on. When I pulled you, you explained you were there for the target, got him and died. Clips provided of you indeed dying; you guessing who the target is, and killing all people sitting. I would like to note, because of this, they gained a point randomly guessing, and then proceeding to kill someone immediately off rip because he spawned near him. If the first point is invalid so should the 2nd. I believe this to be an MRDM.
