Hello! To be clear, there is a mechanic in place to check someone's inventory, therefore any /me gun checks, are inherently invalid. I do see in the clip, you attempt to search his inventory several times before he attempts to shoot you. Which to be fair, could have roused suspicion enough. That being said, I found solid evidence for metagame/powergame occurring directly after involving the person who was PKed and another party. After reviewing the recording, and matching it to connection logs and overall logs. I find a strong likelihood that the player was tipped off, and being that PKs need to be "120% sure", taking into account the metagame that occurred after. I will be accepting and reversing this PK. A system that takes the simple scratch off ticket that everyone knows well, and implementing it into the game as a way for players to gamble, and make another source of income in a legal way (or illegal if this goes far). There can be different tickets that have low risk-low reward and high risk-high reward; the rewards being anywhere from a few dollars to in the thousands. if jailtime goes by years to minutes, then wtf is the actual server progression? because if i remember right, every year is a new year.... Last year it was 1988, now its 1989, so what does that mean we actually passed a thousand years? ...... There's time limits in every court case, but its very hard to coordinate as a judge to have two parties, and most of the time 4-5+ people per trial all get on at the same time. FailRP It is RDM because in no way was a conflict initiated, I pulled no gun and he kills me. 1. You may not randomly kill someone without proper reason. (RDM) 6. You may kill in self defence or in defence of your partners/faction/property. When you've been attacked by an aggressor and survive (you did not aggravate or bait them to hit you) you may return with a weapon to kill them. Suspect of metagame due to once we picked him up, his pal hopped on and he told us to pick him up, after we refused, we brought him to the docks and thats where it happened. after, cops showed. First time I met this guy, he OOC ranted at me about how everyone hates him because of his "rape list". I kept trying to correct course toward IC chat but he just couldn't stop talking about the server, his characters, and how everyone metagames him. Sat before me was my adjudicator and known homosexual man who some may know as Ayden. He was very displeased about my behavior unbecoming of the Bar association, so somewhat justifiably so, he disbarred me and blacklisted me from ever practicing law. I was very displeased, so I went to my friend who some may know as Ruppert (Who is also a self-admitted homosexual man) and asked him for some firearms, me and my friend went to the courthouse that Mr. St-Laurent was stationed at with the intention to rob him for the maximum amount required, to my suprise there was a whole swarm of Police Officers ready to attack! my friend was threatened, and opened fire---immediately, the officers shot at us, trying to kill us, so in response, I shot at them with the intention to kill, unfortunately, I was killed. Minutes later, administrator (now former) known as Anazi took me to a staff sit and lectured me that I coordinated an MRDM attack, I explained that I did not shoot first and did not harm anyone there, but he was not too happy. And permanently banned me. I ask that the community have grace and unban me, I was always (for the most part) an upstanding and well-regarded member of the community, and I think that I've served my punishment and should be allowed to return.
