I think you're overestimating how calculated mafia hits were historically. It wasn't all planned and theatrical like taking someone to a random pier and giving him a whole speech while dipping his legs into concrete. Middle of the street at the dead of night was the most common M.O and it makes sense, low effort, fast cleanup and easy to plan for. I mean you had hits being done in restaurants, during the day, with all the witnesses you could imagine. Paul Castellano, the boss of bosses, got assassinated outside a steakhouse at 5PM. Albert Anastasia, co-founder of Murder Inc. got assassinated in a barbershop at around 10AM. Carmine Galante, the boss of the Bonanno Crime Family, got assassinated outside a restaurant at 3PM Joe Gallo, Caporegime of the Colombo Crime Family, got assassinated in a restaurant, celebrating his birthday, at around 4:30AM. While I agree that more RP options would be cool, I am afraid you sir have gotten lost in the sauce. I get it you would like to be a cool detective guy getting evidence and solving your cases and stuff but the suggestion about storing the ballistics of a PK round as evidence sounds cool but is too much work for the "cold murder cases" that nobody really cares about and the suggestion about failling to pick up the casings just sounds annoying and gimmicky, the time it takes to pick the casings up is already pretty unrealistic, why would an RNG element be introduced that would make it even more unrealistic? Overall, RP ideas = Good, nerfs just for the sake of nerfs disguised as gimmicks = Bad. -1

Like others have statead, wiretapping mobile phones is wildly unrealistic in this time period and when it comes to the RP on the server, I don't see any practical appliance of it(When does Police ever get ahold of your mobile phone, and if they do and they can wiretap it, after the first incident the new norm will be that if the Police get your phone somehow, just get a new one). The only real way this would be done is with a wider eavesdropping operation on the mobile network and within a specific range of service but that's beyond impractical when it comes to the server capabilities.

I get the sentiment behind all that, but that just sounds like a slippery slope. It's the reason why vigilantism is illegal around the world, setting the precedent of players using force to make sure people abide by the rules could lead to more harm than good. Who gets to decide who's "minging"? Yeah the example on the clip is obvious but how do you articulate that in the rules? Can a person be KOS for ruining the RP? Who gets to decide when the RP is ruined and if it was done maliciously or not etc.

Talking like the notion of "There's an event going on so the police are pre-disposed so that's why I will do illegal shit and not get caught" can even be proven as true. Yes those two statements are in conflict with eachother because you made them up to be in conflict with eachother, that's what we call a strawman argument. So, no, you cannot prove that Akira acted in bath faith abusing the event going on to do what he did. The fact that a cop actually came for him disproves that whole notion. You wanna know what can actually be and has been proven? The fact that you as a plainshirt NOT RPing as a Sargeant and NOT following the proper rules and etiquette should not have gotten involved at all, nevertheless go out of your way after to PK the character all by yourself.

Caught up in police work? So were you doing events? Were you participating in police work as plainshirt? Was it some special operation given to you by PD HC that required you to be plainshirt?

If the knowledge of the RP(Akira messing with the body) was gained incorrectly(Sergeant in plainclothes, participating in an event) I think the PK should also be invalidated since the RP isn't valid. Seems to me that, since Monaclu was in plain clothes and participating in an event, he was off-duty. The fact that he stumbled upon Akira doing what he was doing doesn't give him the right to actively participate in the scene. You could go as far and argue that reporting the scene was already beyond what the rules allow, but directly participating while off duty is definitely against the rules and should invalidate the whole RP.

I love this idea, MafiaRP should have incarceration roleplay, you always hear in the media produced about the Mob those lines of people "taking the fall for the family" and "doing the time to come out to a reward". Keep in mind, i hate the state of policeRP on the server but something like this would actually give policeRP and legalRP so much more meaning instead of "heh character PKed make a new one".

Before you got perma'd, you had a month and a half worth of time banned with your first ban being late 2023. No, i do not believe you're a changed person after just 3 months of your ban. Not to mention how lackluster this appeal is, giving a half-assed apology for the 4 RDM counts as if the permanent ban isn't for all the other times you got banned also. -1

You are introducing "repetitive micromanagement" and more "babysitting involved". As is, you put the product in and all you have to do is take it out when it's done, which happens to be after 5 minutes. You seems stuck on this "5 bricks for the time of 4, maybe a little bit more cost for balancing purposes" idea. 5 bricks of shit gives you 50 shits, your player only has 40 slots in his inventory. Now imagine how ball achingly tedious it would be to have this one shipment with 50 shits in it(assuming you can only "extract" the processor when it's fully done like the one we currently have) which is already 10 shits more than you can carry, and also have to worry about having fuel around for the thing (which you're suggesting should be oil barrels, great, now i gotta also go through that ordeal of getting oil shipments in the mean time to feed my processor baby) and having tools to repair it around in case it breaks. So you're still making multiple trips to whatever needs tending to. You haven't fixed anything, there's no quality of life, you've just optimized 1 thing by adding 3 other things to worry about. Oh and let's not mention the potential loss if anything happens with the server, your computer, or your internet conection. Imagine losing 50 shit baggies all at once because your internet went out and hasn't come back until after the server restarted. You used to be a king, with your little shipment and processor timers, every little move optimized down to the milisecond. Now you are crying in the bathroom floor of motel room 9 with your dick in your hand because you grabbed oil barrels instead of repair kits as you were going to sell your full inventory of shits cause there's 16 more waiting for you in the shipment before you can do anything else.

Instead of suggestions to make money through RP we are moving away from it Just sit there and make you 2-4k profit every 5 minutes like a good boy dawg, or get trusted people to help you with it and actually RP it if you are so impatient. Also, anoher thing that's been suggested countless times.
