Not only have i experienced the entire new hiring experience, but I have grown into a position of authority in my home company, earning the title of faction leader. I have also grown very well acquainted with members of other factions and their leadership; having attended many sitdowns, hosting events, and even weddings. I feel as though my experience and what some would consider, expertise, can grant me an exceptional advantage and understanding of other players situations. I feel as though ive made myself a pillar of the south side community, and with that, there are many other players who would vouch for my comradery and business minded decisions. I have carried the weight of a faction through good and bad times. I have also just as many if not more hours in the day to spend staffing as I have spent making money for my people. I sell suits to a lot of people and deal with lots of people on a daily basis. Not only do my decisions carry weight for those in my company, but in my alliance I am a vocal and inspiring player to those around me. What is your favourite moment on Diverge so far?: Chess Park, 6/3/89 when a group of party goers took a stand for their Civil and Constitutional Rights against an army of tyrant Police Officers. We were just there to listen to music and party, but then the feds showed up and tried to quell our fun. We took a stand against this disparity of justice and stood our ground against the tyrants. Even my Consig "Trick Trick" was falsely arrested for knowing his rights. This made such an impact on us as a company we even made a role for it on the discord. How do you handle this?: If I am off duty and there are other staff active and needing to take tickets, I will not get in their way. If it is a situation like I face quite often, where im on in the morning and it is low pop for staff, I am more than willing to step up to make sure the players are not waiting around for someone else to get on. I would "clock-in" as staff and stick around to not only handle the RDM ticket, but be there in case more situations should arise. You have seen a fellow staff member of higher or equal rank than you abusing fairly often, but never doing anything too noticeable. What do you do?: Report them to upper administration. This is the exact reason I am wanting to be in this position because I want all judgements to be fair. If I at least make the staff leads aware of the situation, I have done the minimum amount of my due diligence as a fellow member of staff to support the current player base. If need be I can also make a staff report on the forum page. In either of these situations I will come armed with either clips, log screenshots, or other evidence that will solidify my report as being reliable. Even though I have full intentions of being completely unbiased, we have seen before that this tends to be an issue. What is your motivation/reason for applying? I've been on the server for almost 2 years now. With summer coming up, I probably be spending most of my free time on Diverge. I always been curious about how things work behind the scenes, and I think becoming a staff member would be a great way to help the community. I've been part of this server for a while now and wanted to be part of the community in a different way whics is like a non-faction role. I finally hit the point where I don’t need to grind for cash all the time anymore at all, and I realized I can actually enjoy the RP. I have a lot of free time now instead of just grinding drugs/oils all day, and I wanna try becoming a staff member and try some new stuff along the way. Why should you be considered over other candidates? I think there are two main reasons that make me different from other candidates. First is the amount of time I can spend playing on the server. I usually play on Diverge for over 50 hours a week, so being active and handling tickets would not be a problem for me. Second thing is my timezone. There are times when staff might not be as available, especially very late or very early. Those dead hours are normal for me, so I believe I can help when support is needed the most. Do you have any previous staffing experience? Yes, I do. Back in 2017–2018, I had staff experience on Turkish DarkRP servers. I was a Helper on MoonRP and later an Admin on NarkozRP. Of course, compared to Diverge, those servers were much smaller and less serious, but they still gave me experience in dealing with players and handling staff situations. Have you been banned before on any of our servers? If so, why? Yes. To be honest, when I first joined Diverge, I did not fully understand how serious the server and its rules were. I acted immaturely at times, and because of that, I got banned more than once. Looking back at it now, I know I made mistakes. Over the last few months, I’ve been trying to improve myself by staying out of trouble, reading the rules again, and changing my behavior. Would you say that you are well known in our community? What is your reputation, and what do other members think of you? I would say some people know me in the community. If I have to honest, my reputation was not good in the past. I made a lot of mistake, and people had tons of reasons to think badly about me. And if I have to speak the truth, I gotta admit they were not wrong at all. I was bringing a lot of emotions and acting dumb, which was not necessary at all. But over time, I realized where I was wrong and tried to improve myself. I tried to stay active, respectful, and on my best behavior on the server, forums, and Discord. I hope people now see me as someone who has changed and matured, instead of an annoying guy. What is your favourite moment on Diverge so far? Without any doubt, the racket wars of ’89 and ’90 were some of my best moments on Diverge. Besides that, becoming a made man under Le Mob French and even simple moments like playing golf with Governor Winston Yu were some of my favorite memories on the server. Have any staff members recommended you? If so, list their names. No. I didn’t want to bother any staff members or ask anyone for recommendations for my application. Problem Solving Detail step by step exactly the actions you would take. Someone RDMs and you are currently off-duty. How do you handle this? If Im off-duty, I would handle it like any other normal player will do and create a ticket. I would not involve myself at all, other than that ill provide any evidence if i have any. The only exception would be if there were no other staff members online, and the person was seriously disrupting the roleplay, such as mass RDM. In that kinda situation, I would step in and try to handle it until other staff become online. You have seen a fellow staff member of higher or equal rank abusing fairly often, but never doing anything too obvious. What do you do? First, if the situation is not too serious, I would talk to the staff member privately and warn them about what I noticed. If they ignore it or continue doing the same thing, I would report the situation to a UA member and provide any evidence if i have. A friend or faction member has a ticket against them for RDM or minging. You know they normally don’t act like this. How do you handle it? Does it create bias? I always keep a clear line between friendships and business. If one of my friends or someone I know is breaking the rules, our friendship would not change how I act or how i handle the situation. I would deal with it fairly, based only on the evidence and what actually happened. If they were clearly in the wrong, I would take the correct decision and also talk to them afterward if its needed.

I'm not entirely sure how possible this is but ever since the stashes have been added they have a flawed way of timing you out of your items. The stash will lock you out of it regardless of the reason or way you take damage, it could be car accident, starvation, fall damage, drug addiction or combat between players. How I've thought it over is some how mimic the system weapons, clothes and swapping characters have and detect player combats instead of all of the above. Doing this change would be a massive QoL update for those who actually use stashes (everyone that isn't retarded) saving a little bit of time on top of the 10ish seconds you have wait to actually use the stashes, I see almost no reason not to do this but if there is reason behind this I'd like to know why.

Right now, staff often need to PM players with messages like /pm "You're no longer PK Active." /pm "You're PK Active for 15 minutes as you're involved in a PK." /pm "Blah blah blah, staff stuff, blah blah blah." We already have the /it command, which can make roleplay experiences much more memorable when used correctly. /it The wind brushes past your hair. You're awfully close to the edge. /it One more step and all your problems would be over. /it You feel your heartbeat begin to slow as the adrenaline leaves your system. The only issue with /it is that it affects everyone within a certain radius, which means it can't be used for sensitive information that should only be seen by one person. If possible we could have something like a PM and a /it Without the Staff name attached, even if it's a command locked to a Certain rank i think it'd just be better overall for RP situations /pit STEAMID "Example, Example" It would work exactly like /it, but the message would only be visible to a single player via SteamID. For example You’ve just made a PK ticket and sent your proof to staff, I Think personally it'd be more immersive with the /Pit involvement instead of us using /pm and breaking immersion [Yugi PM]: The dude is active. *You feel your heartbeat quicken in your chest. I've also noticed that during non-peak hours, the time for a ticket to be accepted by an admin is very slow. This has resulted in some frustration between peers of mine, and including myself. I also am very eager to become a staff member. Why should you be considered over other candidates?: I believe that my ability to exclude bias during important decisions makes me viable for staff. I also don't really have an ego, and I am very reflective of my own decisions at times. I also am involved in a lot of aspects of Diverge, being underboss in a criminal faction, a former Senior Officer in PD, and as a current Public Defender. What do you do?: To begin with, I would attempt to chat with them privately about their abuse in a manner that is polite and respectful. This is because if I were to immediate jump the gun and report him, there could be some vital knowledge that would result in the abuse of power, and I would look dumb for reporting it. Nonetheless, I would explain what I observed and ask for their feedback, reasoning, or further insight on what I saw. If the issues persist without any clear deductive reasoning behind it, I would bring it up to higher staff, following the protocols that are in place. However, to reduce bias, I would first see if any fellow staff members could take the ticket. If it's just me on, then I will try my best to respond to the ticket in the most unbiased manner I can, strictly looking at the rules to see if any rule break had occurred. However, if the personal connection is too strong, a conflict of interest would occur, which would constitute bias. We all know what Schedule 1 is, And if not that's not my problem, what if instead of staring at bullet casings we had another fun minigame like with blood splatter? Now imagine, You just shot and killed a man, run over to the bullets with either a plastic bag or just your bare hands like usual, and then upon clicking E you get a little minigame where you need to pick up each casing one by one and put them into the baggy, of course it'll take the same amount of time and might even have more /me's like /me (Person) Opens a Ziplock bag and kneels down /me (Person) Is picking up the casings and chucking them in a plastic bag /me (Person) Is collecting the casings and putting them in the bag /me (Person) is sealing a ziplock bag full of spent casings This as a whole could maybe even add a feature for more evidence clean up during murder, giving the criminals a Ziplock bag full of spent casings, which PD could even try to run as normal casings if they find it / if it's not cleaned up correctly Overall i just want more fun minigames in the server like the blood cleaning one we already have.

Hakai got banned right before the start of the war and when the war was going on he hopped on my account and attempted to join the server without me knowing anything about it. I wait, and play cookie clicker on my phone (i LOVE incremental games) and then I pick up my drugs. Why do we NEED cops for this process?? I have been writing a magazine in game for 6 weeks now, and that has been a good community outreach moment. What is your favorite moment on Diverge so far?: Honestly, my favorite moment was when a staff spawned a chair that had the name "Magical Chair" and I carried one of my good friends to every restaurant in the game asking for "seating for my grandpa in the wheelchair". What do you do?: Report the situation to upper administration with proof, even if it's a maybe, it's always better to report it and let someone who is a seasoned staff member handle the situation. Give us stamina gain like crouching but for slow walking, more aura, looks better, doesnt have any advantage as you walk slower than crouching anyways. Would just be a nice touch and easy to add i would think im my none dev smooth brain

I was told to do a ban appeal by the staff member during the sit, so here it is. To the banning admin I wish to clarify that I do not know ICy or OOCly who was playing on the other character that was mentioned by the person who made a ticket during the sit, nor was I aware that they had trouble with someone else while I was interacting with them. Only thing different is that in one clip my character is wearing a gestapo and in the other my character is wearing a worker uniform, Staff can go check in my first bank account of that character, the gestapo is in there and my character is wearing the uniform. They are also free to search all the others character and their banks. This character is the only one where I have a gestapo, a hard hat and a worker uniform. You will notice in both instance that the character is wearing a hard had and large sunglasses and has hair sticking from the front of the yellow hard hat. The staff member also mentioned that i have 5 characters but I fail to see how it is relevant as I only interacted with these guys with one. VDMing: Please find any instance where I have sent someone to the hospital today. If i sent someone between 12:30-3:30 pm Est that was not the intention, accidents do happen. I would be very surprise if I sent more than one person there, than again I am very sorry and I will take the L if something unfortunate like this happened. But I don’t even recall an instance where I even knocked someone unconscious. Considering I used a bike and that a bike has a small hit box, it is possible but unlikely to hit people walking in the street. LTAP: Is used almost exclusively when you are brought to a staff sit or you are being arrested and you leave. I did none of those. I was neither arrested and I did not leave a staff sit. I did close the game at one point thinking my game was bugged, but I was back as quick as possible within about 5 minutes. I think it is normal to close a game once during a 3 hour playing session. So I dint LTAP a staff sit or an arrest as far as i was aware and I was back on the server within an appropriate amount of time. I did mention that i closed my game around 5-15 minutes before the sitdown to the staff member during the staff sitdown and they seem to have interpreted that as me LTAPing. NITRP: Staff can check my text logs, at one point I go and attempt to apologize for hitting their car. The other party radioed a text to someone saying i came over to appologized. I waited for a little bit, some people came over and the interaction pretty much stopped there. You will notice this is before the sit. After I apologize I stopped to the best of my ability to interact with them and stop the roleplay as the roleplay was not really great and they did not seem to enjoy it. I was brought to the staff sitdown after the whole interaction was over. Powergaming: Forcing Unfair Actions: I have not essentially declared myself the winner of the scenario without allowing the other player to resist, run, or counter or used abusive /me that does gives not an opportunity for the other party to take action. Physical and Lore Impossibility: I did not role-playing that my character has attributes, knowledge, or physical capabilities that they realistically shouldn’t have within the server's setting. 3. Abusing Animation Locks and Script Limitations : Taking advantage of the actual game engine's limitations or custom scripts to trap another player in a situation where they are physically unable to fight back due to the game's code, rather than the roleplay scenario. For example, I did not pick up anyone that was knocked over and prevented him from playing and/or killing him. I feel bad for Pendred having to go through all the donation tickets to remove charges and PKs from court stuff and police shootouts. We should have a "Get out of jail free card" on the donations page, $100 to get out of a felony situation and $250 to get out of a PK situation with the cops. This system being automated will free up the time of Pendred to potentially add other RP-oriented features like a subscription to have a special color for your nickname in game i.e ( Giovanni "Pizza-Power" Prunati). It could also free up time for him to add lootboxes in which you could have a chance of winning guns or drugs that are automatically transferred to a gambling winnings stash, with pricing being tiered for different payouts. We could also have a system that's also a subscription that gives you the ability to instantly order new shipments when the last shipment arrives (cut the time in HALF) for like $150 a month, or 5 minutes off the timer for like $50 a month for the poor people.

I think it would be a good idea to have a piano in the church so that we can play the Funeral March and the Wedding March. Which would provide a good RP opportunity.

We were selling tickets for a boxing event inside AND outside the restaurant, with active RP and customers nearby. The officer entered with his gun out, which immediately disrupted the scene and scared off people trying to buy tickets. This hindered our business. We asked him multiple times to leave the property because his presence was interfering with our roleplay. He eventually stepped outside, but stayed right near the entrance, which continued to deter customers and hurt the RP. I ask that it be recognized that escalation with police cannot merely start with punching a cop. I'd be PKed in a heartbeat, or be a tactical disadvantage. Instead, I waited for his conduct to continue to go on, he clearly wasn't intending on deescalating or leaving the area. There was no fail escalation here. From my perspective, this felt like harassment or an attempt to find a legal reason to shut down the scene. That’s why people began recording, as part of RP. I wasn’t trying to break rules or escalate improperly — I was trying to protect the RP we had going. Hello, firstly I’m gonna set aside the comments regarding the suits that you may or may not have attempted to sell. To me it’s extremely irrelevant and not even mentioned in the dons orders message. The only stated reason for your death was that you left the family, which could create a potential security risk for the faction. You did provide an image showing that you were given permission to leave, and that’s all well and good. However, this is the mafia. We all know people are not and will not always be honest about these sort of things. It is entirely possible to be told one thing and then be dealt with later, when you least expect it. Frankly just how the mafia works. All in all factions can lie about you having permission to leave. Also, even if the person who wrote the orders did not know you were okay to leave, that’s a mistake on them and you would not be getting unpkd for that as well.

So this one is a bit of a two-parter. Basically the idea is that you make stoves 2x2 instead of 1x2, which allows us to fit a whole brick of cocaine into it. We can then cook said cocaine into crack, which we can then process into bags and sell at a street level to minorities and youth. I really think NPCs shouldn't have a part in this process as it turns into a grinding thing rather than a player to player rp interaction. TL;DR It's the 90's! Crack IS cool!
