What is your motivation/reason for applying?: *My motivation in applying is to be apart of the staffing community to take a more responsible position within the community and help in safeguarding the city, teaching people and be more involved from a staffing point of view. In addition I am hoping through staffing to end up as a GM to facilitate events and provide service to the community this way too. In addition, I believe having such a responsible role will help me further develop translational skills and help in giving back to the community who have mostly been loving, patient and accepting of me. I enjoy my time on diverge and hope others enjoy my presence. I spent a lot of time in the server and community consistently for the past few years and want to start a new chapter here to help out and give back. I am also applying to ask for an opportunity and chance to prove myself to the community and seniors that I can be entrusted with such responsibilities and be just. Lastly, I want to collaborate with other staff members and be apart of the team that fulfils it's duty and service to the community. If i didnt take this server or gamemode seriously, I would not be here right now writing this application or, heck, be apart of this community at this very moment. Why should you be considered over other candidates?: *I would say I am more mature person and have developed a rapport with significant amount of active people throughout the server, I enjoy spending time with players and hopefully it's the same with them. In addition, I've experience all over the city whether it's being a senior figure in law, policing or criminal factions all the way to being a homeless bum. I would say I am more just and know what's wrong when it is wrong, allowing me to be a dependable, accountable and responsible person - especially knowing when I stepped over a line and am okay to take that punishment or enforce it on others [i.e conflicts between people IC]. I believe I'm good at approaching different types of people which would fair well in this role as you'd deal with many people [serious people, real minges who dont give a crap about their actions, timid people who aren't sure or clear as to what they want etc]. I am someone who can be diplomatic in their approach to a situation or, when needed, assertively. Knowing where the lines are, I can be effective at my job whilst being fair and able to explain my self and actions; ensuring I wouldn't overstep my remit in my position as staff. I believe i'd work well with other staff members, being open to improving myself and taking suggestions [as people would have seen given my past record and how I apply it]. Spending quite a while as a judge, in a role which you CANNOT be corrupt whatsoever, I have sentence many friends away behind bars and given them criminal records; I aim to be as unbiased as possible, especially with an integral position of power. The same applies to the latter when putting someone who openly dislikes me behind bars/convicting, they are treated fairly regardless of their views of me etc. Fairness and justice are essential. As someone who in the past broke a lot of rules, I would say I have a good understanding of them - allowing me to be in this city after being given (many) chances after having learned to follow them and abide. Most importantly, I'm someone willing to learn and improve, having improved many relations with players across the server and my LARPing skills etc. I also have staffing experience, so I believe I can hit the ground running and have a good foundation to develop on further to meet the needs of the staff team and the community. (Please list where, what position and how long): I do, I used to staff on various Minecraft servers (which LONG have shut down back in the 2010s, having roles of Moderation, admin to head admin), owning one at one point. I was also community manager for Lockdown SCP:SL RP. As well as old GMOD which have also closed down a while ago: LuckyDucky servers - Mod ; My own DarkRP server - Owner and im sure others I cannot remember. Aside from SCP:SL i havent staffed since the mid 2010s. But for the interest of this question and confirming names, let's say I just have community manager experience for Lockdown SCP:SL - having about a year in that position before moving on and owning a GMOD server back in the day. To which I would like to thank the community in giving me chances after chances to change, and hopefully you have seen and felt it. My experience within the community has significantly improved and through these bans I've learnt to appreciate the community, the people within and the fun to be had on the server. Most of my bans were RDM related. With the occasional trickle of other stuff like mic spam etc, last one being powergaming in janurary [couldn't disprove as i didnt clip my view to exhonorate me.. took it on the chin]. Would you say that you are well known in our community, what's your reputation, what do other members think of you?: *I would say I am well known with a positive reputation. Whilst some would still despise me for being a minge/king minge; I will say in recent times of many months to a year, many have turned a new page with me and I would like to say it is going very positive in terms of their experience. You cant please everyone or make them like you, but I will say majority of the plays hopefully view me positively as i'm someone who makes RP happen spontaneously, have fun and do crazy stuff whilst also have engaging conversations. If they are unable to, I would complete whatever RP situation I am in and find an appropriate time to switch to take the ticket and respond to it. You have seen a fellow staff member of higher or equal rank than you abusing fairly often, but never doing anything too noticeable. What do you do?: Collect evidence and Let a more senior staff be made aware via staff report ticket/discord etc. (Though if it's UA.. then I'd probably watch and laugh at what is transpiring unto the poor souls.) How do you proceed knowing this? Does it constitute possible bias?: There is definite possible bias. I would let other staff members handle it / deal with the ticket with me not being involved in any way shape or form, unless strictly necessary . If other staff staff are unable to deal with it. I would deal with it in an unbiased manner and enforce the rules upon them with bans, notes etc regardless if they're friends or not. Have to be fair and just in upholding the rules regardless. After multiple times of him doing that and making a few people mad I finally turned around after he had placed a bet on where I was gambling and jokingly while laughing started shooting at him and killed him. Later on I learned that the person I killed did not even want me punished but due to my multiple POs I was banned. Why should you be unbanned? What is your motivation/reason for applying?: * The Low Population of staff during early EU time is my main motivation for applying as i would love to help those needing staff support early morning. i see many people every day; often myself make tickets and wait hours to get support and i would love to help resolve this issue. i love the server its one of my main things i spend my free time doing so i would love to help better the server. i love helping out in Gamemaster events and would love to work up to the rank of GM to start making fun events for the community to enjoy for those who don't often get to participate in them. Why should you be considered over other candidates?: * I've played the server for Years so I've grown a clear understanding to the server rules and what is and is not allowed. My knowledge i have gained from playing the server from Both perspectives of Diverge can help me be unbiased in any crowd if its PD or crim. How do you handle this?: If i was rdmed while off-duty i would take a clip on medal before i do anything. i would then simply wait for that clip to process. once that has done if there are staff members online i would ask in staff chat to be brought into a sit as i was just rdmed and i would proceed from there. If there is no fellow staff member offline i would file a player report and move on with my day. You have seen a fellow staff member of higher or equal rank than you abusing fairly often, but never doing anything too noticeable. What do you do?: I would first gather proof of these actions before i accuse anyone of anything. Once i have gathered enough proof i would make a staff report on the member of staff for there abuse and wait for it to be resolved by a member of UA. How do you proceed knowing this? Does it constitute possible bias?: To me it does not matter if you are in my faction or my friend there will be no bias what so ever. I would fulfil the ticket as usual and if my faction member /friend had committed any wrong doing i would give the appropriate punishment like i would in any other ticket. What is your motivation/reason for applying?: So I'm usually a government main or when I'm on a civ its 90% LegalRP. I have seen it happen many times where there just isn't enough staff around especially in the later mid-week EST hours to make government chars fun to continue at times where the minge hour gets a bit too out of hand, people need autoplead but there's no staff on to validate it, people breaking nlr, etc. These days, I'm not locked into a faction where I can have enough skin in the game to be biased. In my opinion, we do truly need more staff who have little to no real conflict or reason to even be suspected of abuse. In my case, I'm just the legal guy who plays his cop a lot. I don't have a purpose for slimy nonsense I'd cut it down the middle just like I was acting on my Judge char. Why should you be considered over other candidates?: While my record isn't spotless, I feel I've proven that over a long time in the game that I'm capable of playing by the rules. I'm not going to say that my record is spotless and I'm not going to discount the severity of the only ban I have on record. The thing that should put me apart is the fact that I'm capable of ruling against people I like if they legitimately did do wrong. I've arrested friends on my cop. I've convicted friends or people aligned with my alt chars on my Judge. I'm capable of recognizing when there is an appearance of conflict and recusing myself accordingly. (Please list where, what position and how long): I was a Super Admin on IceMod TTT for some time, went on to own a Clockwork: HL2RP server in their network. I was a super admin on ShockCoreGaming's ClockWork: HL2RP City-RP server and an admin on their Combine Military RP server. I've staffed on some smaller nutscript projects as well. Most of these servers were 100% text based serious rp without voice chat enabled. SCG used to top 80 players in its prime before it died some years back and I had admined there for years. Have you been banned before on any of our servers? If so, why?: I was banned for Char Abuse and Metagame one time about a year back. I regret the incident and don't deny wrongdoing. I've since learned from my actions and ultimately went through a lot with Diverge from that point onward. I've matured a fair bit in that time, from getting my degree to settling down and getting married. I've had a long time to reflect on myself as a person, and the way I present myself when I play the game. Obviously the action was wrong, I accept that and feel that I have moved on and grown from the experience more than a year later. Would you say that you are well known in our community, what's your reputation, what do other members think of you?: That's a mixed bag. I used to be a major criminal main. I used to run SOS and was a crim lawyer. During that time my reputation was positive until the end of that time. I went on to do undercover work which is seriously unpopular even oocly leading to my blacklist in most factions. I then went on to be a detective who was very effective at his job, leading to many important people getting arrested. I also did not let little things go either, believing that small offenses often lead to big arrests. This leaves me seriously unpopular with the crims. However, I feel that I am well liked among the government mains. I'm presently a patrol Sergeant on my cop and I also play a Judge. I spend way more time in that sphere than others outside of when I'm doing court-based material which is most frequent. What is your favourite moment on Diverge so far?: It's not so much a moment exactly but it was my time in SOS. It was a long road which ultimately came to an abrupt and sour end but the time was well spent. When I had joined, SOS was on an activity warning and getting ready to lose the whitelist. I joined on my former Cartel Monteria character as a Captain. I helped claw the faction back from the brink, with some help inside and outside the club. When Gecko ultimately lost interest in running the show, he gave it to Punisher where I went on to serve as his VP. We had a rough go at first since Punisher clashed with many of the existing members of the Club, and many people outside the club as well. I learned during that experience early on about how fatal your bank account can be on Diverge and narrowly escaped getting a felony charge which would have ended my run as the club lawyer. I remember the sweet wins I had in court on that character. I stumbled my way through Court RP, getting lucky mostly but making a ton of money doing it. During the legal trouble, it put a freeze on Punisher and I and later Gunny moved up to surpass me as President. Together, him and I did legitimately crazy plays that got SOS out of being a district of Takahashi into being its own faction. I recall sitting there on the first racket event with the credit cards and seeing an opportunity to buy our way out. We gave all of our cards to Takahashi but one, where SOS then bumped down to H but Taka paid us $1,000,000 and released us from district in exchange for giving them all of the SOS and 14K credit cards which they gave to Kosher free of charge for some godforsaken unknown reason. While we lost the racket event, it was the sweetest victory since we achieved a major goal. Watching the club grow under us, it made me proud. I fondly remember on New Year's day 2025 I made a long winded announcement where I shared my appreciation and celebrated SOS' comeback from the brink where Pendred replied to it that it was indeed a great comeback. One of the craziest moments I ever did have on Diverge was going toe-to-toe with District Attorney Jeffrey Blake in the case People v (Whatever Candles' UB of laventine was called). I had ultimately fought a hard fight and got an unlikely win after arguing a case that had a shaky defense. As we were celebrating, I recall getting surrounded by detectives and shuffled into the Judges chambers where I was then arrested on weapons stockpiling charges. I could go on for some time but sometimes the losses I took along the way are just as astonishing as the wins since the circumstances are both funny and memorable. Someone RDMs and you are currently off-duty. How do you handle this?: If possible, I'd try to get another staff member to handle it considering I'm likely mid-RP. If none are available and my flagging up wouldn't be a major nuisance to others around me, I'd handle the ticket ASAP on my staff char. You have seen a fellow staff member of higher or equal rank than you abusing fairly often, but never doing anything too noticeable. What do you do?: I'd preserve all evidence I have of the abuse and bring it to the attention of UA. It wouldn't need to be a case of "fairly often" but moreso "happens at all". Staff abuse is never tolerable even if the offense is viewed as minor. A member of your faction / friend of yours has a ticket made against them accusing them of RDM’ing, and minging. You know that this person rarely does this when you play with him. How do you proceed knowing this? Does it constitute possible bias?: I would first try to get another staff member on the ticket as there could be an appearance of bias. While I may be mindful of the fact that this person may rarely commit that offense, I'd always be inclined against giving out punishment without evidence anyways. Even if someone has 10 PO's for an offense they're being reported for, the default opinion should be that there won't be punishment where there isn't proof. After coming to a conclusion on the case, if there isn't another staff member able to look at it in game, I'd reach out to one by discord, show the evidence I have, and ask if the verdict is reasonable if I can do so in a reasonable amount of time.

After leaving Diverge Networks for a month or two and now having been back for a little while, I've realized that I miss a lot of the responsibilities of being a staff member. From being on the staff team, I amassed a lot of knowledge of the server rules including some of the more niche/unwritten-though-enforced rules of Diverge that I can't really put to use since I'm not staff. Not only knowledge of the rules, but I greatly enjoyed the community interactions I had as a staff member that I see current staff members having, both through gamemaster events and standard enforcement of server rules. One of the stand-out features of being a staff member that I miss was dissecting the more general/vague parts of the rules and having debates in Staff Sits. The intricacy of the Diverge server rules is something that is outmatched on any other Garry's Mod server (that I've seen/read). Why should you be considered over other candidates?: I think some of my qualities that would put me above other candidates would be my knowledge of the server rules and experience as a staff member. From being staff on Diverge Networks, I have gained both knowledge and understanding of the server rules, both written and unwritten. Comparatively, to a candidate who has a lesser understanding of the rules, I would be able to handle situations more efficiently and with more accuracy in regards to my judgement. Secondly, to my experience as a staff member, I have both an understanding and a habit of handling situations involving staff members in a certain manner. Admittedly, being staff on Diverge Networks means that someone who think that you have wronged them by enforcing the rules aren't often able to listen to reason and often hurl insults and profanities when you inform them of a punishment or that they did something wrong. Having both experienced and navigated that aspect of being a staff member, I would be able to handle situations with a more calm demeanor & level head than a person who was inexperienced with staff interactions, leading to a more positive experience on both sides. (Please list where, what position and how long): I have had several different experiences as staff on roleplay servers across the last ~5-ish years, but my most recent and relevant instance was as a Senior Moderator on Prometheus Networks for 7-8 months & being a Moderator on Diverge Networks for 3-4 months. Have you been banned before on any of our servers? If so, why?: I have never been banned on Diverge Networks. Would you say that you are well known in our community, what's your reputation, what do other members think of you?: I would say that I am decently well-known throughout Diverge, though I am most definitely not the most known. From the people I do know, I believe I have a good reputation. I am unaware of anybody that I have a poor relationship with. What is your favorite moment on Diverge so far?: I have a hard time picking out a specific moment on Diverge that is my "favorite moment", though I can say without a doubt one of my favorite experiences was the Valentine's Day Racket War a few months ago. Both the PvP coupled with strategy & playing with friends was a lot of fun and very rewarding when my faction was moved up in our racket. Have any staff members recommended you? How do you handle this?: I would start off by clipping the incident with Medal to have proof of the actual RDM. After I have situated the clip and trimmed it accordingly to highlight the incident that needs reporting, I would contact a fellow member of staff, showing them the clip I had gotten as evidence and ask them for a Staff Sit with myself, the staff, and the person who RDM'd me. I would ensure that I personally did not handle the situation myself to avoid any potential bias on my part, along with a proper explanation from a third party that was not involved in the incident in the case of any refreshers of server rules or, if warranted, any punitive action being taken. You have seen a fellow staff member of higher or equal rank than you abusing fairly often, but never doing anything too noticeable. What do you do?: I would ensure every time I witnessed the abuse happen, I would gather appropriate proof of the incident (screenshots, clips, audio recordings, etc.). After witnessing the abuse occur, I would attempt to message them and ask what provoked these actions and what led them to abuse. After trying to gather more information, I would let them know/remind them that their actions would be considered abuse. If the member of staff genuinely seemed ignorant to the fact that their actions were abusive, I may hold off on reporting. Otherwise, if the staff member did not seem remorseful and seemed like they knew it was abuse already, I would show the evidence I collected to a member of staff higher than the individual, most likely a member of Upper Administration. I would continually record the evidence and submit it every time I witnessed it, repeating the process. Does it constitute possible bias?: Once I receive the ticket, I would start off as I usually would do with gathering the evidence and collecting each side's story of the situation. Considering that I would personally know this person in this situation, I would want to avoid any bias decisions or any accusations of being biased. To do this, I would contact another member of staff to get their opinion on the situation and get confirmation as to whether or not he/she thinks the claims are valid enough for punitive action. Once I've gotten a second opinion from another member of staff, I would either pass the situation off to them entirely, or proceed with punishment or lack thereof depending on the opinion given by the other member of staff. The escalation rules should be viewed as a shell and starting point, not a rigid checklist. UA looks at the full situation, all factions involved, and all relevant factors before making a determination, including faction size, recent hires, main character status, alt characters, and whether anyone is trying to gain an unfair advantage. The purpose of a lockdown / hire block is to prevent war jumping, temporary recruiting, and alt abuse. It also makes escalation uncomfortable for everyone involved, which should push factions toward a quicker resolution instead of letting the conflict drag out. If someone was actively maining a faction but never formally set it as their main, that is ultimately on the player and their faction leadership. If they were involved enough to be impacted by the escalation, they should have seen it coming and made sure their main was properly set. Leadership also has a responsibility to warn members before things reach that point. A lock can be adjusted or removed if UA believes the specific situation calls for it, but it should not be assumed. Unless UA clearly states otherwise, factions should treat the lockdown and main character requirements as active. In your case, you were scared because you thought Popov was going to PK you, so you left the faction to do hits for Supreme in another faction. Once you realized there was no orders you left the other faction and now are stuck as a civ. watching from the outside. If you want numbers.....at the start of the escalation Supreme had 140 alts(More than any other crim. faction) to Popov 30 alts, for mains there were 25 for Supreme and 13 for Popov...... this was taken into account during the main lock decision.

The Problem: Right now, players are initiating mugs while completely unclothed, leaving them in the default "White Shirt" state. Because our rules already state that actual fresh spawns cannot mug, seeing someone in a white shirt creates confusion. Players are abusing this by intentionally removing all of their clothing to: Bait & Confuse Victims: They trick people into thinking they are harmless new spawns who aren't allowed to mug, exploiting that false sense of security to pull off an easy robbery. Zero-Risk Criminality: They risk absolutely none of their actual clothing items or gear other than a gun if the mugging goes wrong and they get killed or caught. Honestly it's just bad rp, being white-shirt is like being naked and requires no effort. The Proposal: Make it an official rule that players must be actively wearing clothing to initiate a mugging. If a player is not wearing any clothing items (meaning they are in the default "White Shirt" state), they are prohibited from robbing other players. If a player uses restraints on another player, they cannot change or remove their clothing for the entire duration that the situation is active like it is already the case when they take damage. Other players who did participate in the mugging should not be allowed to leave the situation while being a white shirt until they reach a safe spot. Server Precedent: We already know this state causes issues because during the last Racket Reshuffling Event, players in white shirt were not permitted to participate. The staff team already recognized that the default white shirt state disrupts competitive fairness and clarity. We should simply extend that exact same logic to daily server life regarding muggings and hostile RP.

If you fail to escape the scamming situation the victim may force you at gunpoint (fear RP) to drop the items stolen, in this instance it is not considered a mugging (no PK risk to victim) nor is it power-gaming, failure to comply or attempting to escape and being killed will result in a PK. The first thing you should do when someone scams you is point a gun at them, apply FearRP and demand that they return the item. Chasing someone while holding a gun in safety mode and simply saying "give the item back" does not count as applying FearRP. Because of that i personally believe this PK was invalid

Hey, I was the staff member who accepted the PK. So in this situation you refused to follow fearRP as you didn't comply with their demands to follow them into the alleyway when they had 3 guns on you. You had turned around and acknowledged the man behind you pointing a gun at you and still decided it was the best decision to become a deer in headlights and stare at the man and not do anything at all. Now what is iffy is the police situation. During the sit I had requested the POV from Psykho but for whatever reason I received no response. From the clip I was provided it was completely valid because you were in a yellow zone and they were attempting to drag you into a red. If we're speaking realistically Psykho wouldn't have the vision he had whilst he was third person in the vehicle and if he was first person he would have low visibility of the situation. during the sit I attempted to cover all bases but with the evidence I was provided it ended up being a PK, I had also asked for a second opinion from a Senior Admin and they had also agreed it was a PK on your behalf for not complying. Hi! Original banning staff member here (I extended it from 10d -> 30d) I was alerted by a player after they had died that you had picked them up and slammed them on the ground. This was confirmed by multiple eye witnesses and a clip of the car that hit him on accident driving way. I brought you to a sit and you say you didn't do anything wrong, so I put you back and ask eye witnesses. After getting conformation I pulled into another sit and I talked to you about how slamming someone on the ground is RDM, you proceeded to pull a gun and say "like this" and RDM the other person in the sit, right Infront of me. Then when I'm trying to speak to you about your ban, you attempt to RDM me, alas, as an admin I am in god mode. There is your original ban for: RDM|RDM in sit|ARDM in sit It was extended to 30 days after reviewing your history (5x POs of RDM and 5x POs of VDM total of 10 random killings), this and the rest of your history was presented to upper admins, there they made the final decision to extend to perma. All of the ban was not just my decision, as an admin I do not have the power to extend past 30d, anything past is reviewed by upper administration. Now on to your appeal: 1, I brought you to a sit in the beginning to see if you'd admit to slamming him without me having to pull eye witnesses (this would've been a shorter ban, as you would've shown accountability) instead of confirming it, you deny that you did anything, so I had to pull others in the situation. 2, Proper escalation is not "he is shit talking, I'm going to slam his head into the ground" it would be talk -> punch -> fight 3, In your appeal, you state not once but twice that you are not sorry and would do it again, that is not a good look. Hello, I'd like to point out a detail that nobody seems to have noticed. This PK should not be considered a valid PK. In the clips provided by both sides, I noticed something. While they were mugging him, Matador's friend can be heard saying, "Put your hands up F7" This can be clearly heard around the 10 second mark of the clip provided by the player who submitted the PK appeal. Additionally, as clearly stated in the Mugging Rules, Rule 10. specifically states that telling or indicating to a player to press F7 to raise their hands significantly disrupts RP standards. As a result, the mug is considered invalid and cannot be used as the basis for a PK. As clearly shown in the clip, while holding a player at gunpoint and applying FearRP because they refused to put their hands up, you tell them to press F7. At that point, you might as well tell them not to touch their mouse or keyboard during your next mug when I tried to point out to the genius admin handling the PK Bullets, that there was a clear rule violation here, the response i got was "People say F7 all the time" That is very unlikely to be true. I have watched many valid mugging and PK clips, and I have never heard a mugger say “F7” in any of them. In the end of this PK appeal, we will find out something important, do the rules written on the forum actually get enforced or do things depend on an admin’s personal decision about whether it should count as a PK or not?

Inside the bathroom was you and another person, the second person was giving you a lap dance while you where actively participating in it. You went into that room fully knowing what was going to happen. "There was no /me" is lowkey the sorriest attempt of an escape I've seen.
