I sell suits to a lot of people and deal with lots of people on a daily basis. Not only do my decisions carry weight for those in my company, but in my alliance I am a vocal and inspiring player to those around me. What is your favourite moment on Diverge so far?: Chess Park, 6/3/89 when a group of party goers took a stand for their Civil and Constitutional Rights against an army of tyrant Police Officers. We were just there to listen to music and party, but then the feds showed up and tried to quell our fun. We took a stand against this disparity of justice and stood our ground against the tyrants. Even my Consig "Trick Trick" was falsely arrested for knowing his rights. This made such an impact on us as a company we even made a role for it on the discord. How do you handle this?: If I am off duty and there are other staff active and needing to take tickets, I will not get in their way. If it is a situation like I face quite often, where im on in the morning and it is low pop for staff, I am more than willing to step up to make sure the players are not waiting around for someone else to get on. I would "clock-in" as staff and stick around to not only handle the RDM ticket, but be there in case more situations should arise. Fun RP heavy way to let people park their cars for longer WITHOUT destroying the server with lag :D TLDR: Parking meter system like the one NYC has IRL you get a pass, use it on your car, it takes more time to despawn I saw someone suggest to remove car despawn timers, but as someone who remembers when cars had to ocasionally be disabled entirely due to lag, I disagree with this, but's still annoying to have your car despawn every 2 minutes, especially if you're someone who likes to sit around and do stuff. But since I've been to NYC I thought of these old ticket systems (Model from GTA Vice City) basically the idea is these would be on the map, you'd go up to one and use money to buy a ticket, then use that on your car (like a vehicle repair kit) and it would take more time to despawn. Pros: Fixes the annoying parts of car despawning Adds a cool RP feature that isn't too obtrusive "Let me put some money on the meter" is something I've heard a lot in NYC If done properly shouldn't horribly increase server lag, but provide a great deal of convenience for players and give them something to spend money on Something new for NYC workers to fix? I don't think that matters too much Cons: Dev time, especially if you wanted to make it in a way that incentives keeping server lag down by making tickets more expensive when the playercount/car count is high or something like that, it's not too bad, i went on a journey looking for this model and for pictures of the actual tickets so at the very least that part is done. I tried to see if parking meters already existed on the map but it's protected by some program and made noises at me, so if they do this idea could just use them. You'd probably need to make a menu, just with the time you want to buy on the meter, with more money for more time. Potential to cause server lag by cars just sitting around, this could be offset easily, either disable meters when there's a lot of cars, or make them much more expensive. Disabling them sounds much easier, I should have thought of that from the beginning I could say so much more about this idea but the inside of my head is getting away from me a bit, i want to talk about dynamic pricing or the specific font on the tickets, or the specifics of how different times would be priced to discourage people from leaving cars around forever, or how they would be placed around the map but I am going to post the suggestion now and people will think about it and tell me what they think about it and that will be great. Now that prices for drugs and oil change every so often, I think it would be a good idea to add some sort of a button you could press in the Drug/Oil NPC that will tell you how much a baggie or barrel is selling for, so that you know when to start selling your stock.

Hey guys, I have thought of an idea to fix the issue of holding drug baggies for better prices, The Drug Compressor. This item would be similar to the processor in a sense that you would put drugs in it and it would have a wait time to make your finished product. This item would take 20 drug baggies and compress it into 1 3x3 sellable brick. Why would we need another drug brick? Well recently with the -20% +20% update, people are trying to hold their baggies. If you are in a similar situation to myself, you dont have much stash space left due to all your drugs and guns. This brick would allow people to save their baggies with less space until the price is right! So in conclusion, the Drug Compressor would be a similar item to the processor, compressing 20 drug baggies into 1 3x3 sellable brick in the hopes of saving space.

So I understand the basic concepts and the way to interact with people when they are being difficult! You have seen a fellow staff member of higher or equal rank than you abusing fairly often, but never doing anything too noticeable. What do you do?: Report the situation to upper administration with proof, even if it's a maybe, it's always better to report it and let someone who is a seasoned staff member handle the situation. Depending on the situation and the severity of the mischief, I would contact a person of higher authority. I would never confront the person face on to avoid conflict among staff members. A member of your faction / friend of yours has a ticket made against them accusing them of RDM’ing, and minging. You know that this person rarely does this when you play with him. How do you proceed knowing this? Does it constitute possible bias?: I would proceed with this like I did not know the person at all, I would review the clip/logs and act accordingly, no matter who it is, everyone should be treated fairly. , I understand why cops can't just go into dead people's inventories and take stuff. It makes sense. But can we update the corpse report to be able to test for drugs in system, check for lockpicks and restraints (unused) so that it can be determined if they were mugging or raiding (or potentially), if they had drugs on their person, if they're wearing armor, and if they were actively using something when they died (like a lockpick, restraint, or holding a gun in their hands).

What does this suggestion add / change / etc : You can't punch for 2 hours, and you can't sit down for 4 ( alt + e). I think a logical change is that you cannot DRIVE with untill you reach 3 hours of playtime. Has this been suggested before : Shi I dunno At least 2 positives of this suggestion : - Less minges stealing cars upon starting the server and ramming it into a crowd of 30 people. - Less work for staff, having to refund / comp dozens of people going through the painful process of being hit by cars for no reason. 2 negatives for this suggestion : Really only one - a new player who WANTS to rp cant drive and larp for 3 hours. But to be fair.. you take away their ability to punch for 2 and alt + e for 4. I think this is more than fair. Instead of the black screen with your name and the dates it should be a fnaf style jumpscare to send you away. Just really adds to the paranoia if you think your faction is going to kill you. Loosely Based on the suggestion made by bullets, New Roleplay ways to get rid of a body would be amazing, since the Mob, and frankly many other gangs, would use more ways to get rid of a body than cutting someone up or burning their body (Since acid is so expensive, and you have to be a felon I didn't even mention it). I've seen bodies left in public, bodies acidized, burnt, and chopped up on server. Frankly Anything new would be cool, if not solely for neat roleplay and spicing up pks for both sides of the law (Since 90% of bodies are literally never found anyway) because being shot in park, or brought to your factions business never to be seen again is kind of boring. I've heard of the idea of making bodies be able to be loaded into car trunks similar to how you can load a restrained person into a car. IMO Being able to dump a body somewhere else probably wouldn't be balanced, but there's no harm in a suggestion like that. I'd love to hear what you guys think, and ways you could spice it up

Oil Containers, LSD Barrels, and Meth Barrels all have the same image. This leads to confusion when trying to sort out between all 3. Example 1: You're selling oil to Rockefeller, but accidentally put in LSD or Meth Example 2: You're doing a crew deal for LSD: Meth, but something either gets mixed up or an accidental oil container gets slipped in there Although these things can be solved through close examination of every item, it would be best if all 3 aren't the same image. Perhaps a change in color for each of the barrels could be a good addition, or different images altogether for LSD and Meth.

Hello all, With the new addition of Drug Market Fluctuating Values, i believe we need a new form of storage, especially for those smart enough (Or dumb enough) to hold out until it's a better price. And as of such I'd like to introduce the concept of the "Sealed Case" Aka Drug Case. As can be seen above, The Sealed Case would hold 10 Baggies, and when opening it / using it there should be a /me in the chat, such as. /me (Name) Opens the sealed container. These Sealed Cases should be Felony Items therefore if an officer see's someone opening it they may move to make an arrest etc.

I was told to do a ban appeal by the staff member during the sit, so here it is. To the banning admin I wish to clarify that I do not know ICy or OOCly who was playing on the other character that was mentioned by the person who made a ticket during the sit, nor was I aware that they had trouble with someone else while I was interacting with them. They are also free to search all the others character and their banks. This character is the only one where I have a gestapo, a hard hat and a worker uniform. You will notice in both instance that the character is wearing a hard had and large sunglasses and has hair sticking from the front of the yellow hard hat. The staff member also mentioned that i have 5 characters but I fail to see how it is relevant as I only interacted with these guys with one. VDMing: Please find any instance where I have sent someone to the hospital today. If i sent someone between 12:30-3:30 pm Est that was not the intention, accidents do happen. I would be very surprise if I sent more than one person there, than again I am very sorry and I will take the L if something unfortunate like this happened. But I don’t even recall an instance where I even knocked someone unconscious. Considering I used a bike and that a bike has a small hit box, it is possible but unlikely to hit people walking in the street. LTAP: Is used almost exclusively when you are brought to a staff sit or you are being arrested and you leave. I did none of those. I was neither arrested and I did not leave a staff sit. I did close the game at one point thinking my game was bugged, but I was back as quick as possible within about 5 minutes. I think it is normal to close a game once during a 3 hour playing session. So I dint LTAP a staff sit or an arrest as far as i was aware and I was back on the server within an appropriate amount of time. I did mention that i closed my game around 5-15 minutes before the sitdown to the staff member during the staff sitdown and they seem to have interpreted that as me LTAPing. NITRP: Staff can check my text logs, at one point I go and attempt to apologize for hitting their car. The other party radioed a text to someone saying i came over to appologized. I waited for a little bit, some people came over and the interaction pretty much stopped there. You will notice this is before the sit. After I apologize I stopped to the best of my ability to interact with them and stop the roleplay as the roleplay was not really great and they did not seem to enjoy it. I was brought to the staff sitdown after the whole interaction was over. Powergaming: Forcing Unfair Actions: I have not essentially declared myself the winner of the scenario without allowing the other player to resist, run, or counter or used abusive /me that does gives not an opportunity for the other party to take action. Physical and Lore Impossibility: I did not role-playing that my character has attributes, knowledge, or physical capabilities that they realistically shouldn’t have within the server's setting. 3. Abusing Animation Locks and Script Limitations : Taking advantage of the actual game engine's limitations or custom scripts to trap another player in a situation where they are physically unable to fight back due to the game's code, rather than the roleplay scenario. For example, I did not pick up anyone that was knocked over and prevented him from playing and/or killing him.
