(Reference your unique RP from the question above): The White-Collar Corporation works with every side of the city to host events and provide factions an opportunity to do more mob related things against civilians which so far has been almost nonexistent. By providing these events and different businesses we are promoting civilian/legal RP while also providing criminals/cops RP by interacting with the civilian side. We are involved in all kinds of industries and have a ton of ways for factions interact with our employees as event characters and normal civilians just trying to survive Southside one day at a time. From construction sites, factories, oil tankers, truck robberies, waste management and more we can provide factions unique and new RP that they haven't experienced yet. Besides bringing new stuff we also hope to compete with the other two oil companies in the city and provide some interesting white (and blue) collar RP. Employees who work with us are promoted through profit and performance, making sure that the earners are given more responsibility and the chance to run an industry within the White-Collar Corporation. My main motivation for applying is to enhance and protect the experience of my fellow players on Diverge. Roleplay can already be challenging at times, and I’ve personally experienced moments where I needed staff assistance but had trouble getting it. With over 8,400 hours in Garry’s Mod and a strong desire to help others, I feel a genuine sense of duty to give back to the community that has given me so many great moments. I want to be the reliable staff member who ensures everyone can enjoy their time on the server without unnecessary disruptions. Why should you be considered over other candidates? I believe I should be considered because I am highly accountable, have no ego, and maintain a strong growth mindset. I hold myself to high standards and am always hungry to learn more. Many players recognize my characters, whether as the fair/teacher cop Danny Silvershine, the prosecutor Daniel K. Park in the courtroom, or Adrian Nakamura as a lawyer, arms dealer, and mechanic. Across all of these roles I’ve focused on creating and empowering roleplay for others while treating everyone with kindness and respect. Even when there is in-character conflict, I never let it create out-of-character bias. I believe most community members see me as fair, consistent, and someone who genuinely enjoys bringing positive energy to the server. What is your favorite moment on Diverge so far? I have quite a few favorite moments, but the ones that stand out the most are the times I’ve been promoted, whether it was at the District Attorney’s Office, within the police department, or inside various crime factions. There’s something very satisfying about seeing all the hard work and dedication pay off and get officially acknowledged by the community and leadership. Have any staff members recommended you? Not at this time. I haven’t made any staff members aware that I’ve applied yet. I plan to reach out privately to those I know for support once this application is submitted. How do you handle this? If I am able to hop on duty without interrupting important roleplay, I will do so and take the ticket directly. If I am currently in the middle of active roleplay, I will keep an eye on the ticket queue and the flow of tickets being accepted by on-duty staff. Once my roleplay concludes, if the ticket is still open, I will request that the player remake the ticket so I can take it properly while on duty. If the admin system allows for better handling of off-duty situations, I will quickly learn and adapt to that method to ensure the situation is addressed efficiently and fairly. You have seen a fellow staff member of higher or equal rank than you abusing fairly often, but never doing anything too noticeable. What do you do? The first step I would take is to speak with them privately in a calm and respectful manner. There may be context I’m unaware of, and addressing it directly like a fellow team member can often resolve the issue without escalating unnecessarily. I would explain what I’ve observed and give them the opportunity to clarify or correct the behavior. If the issue continues after our conversation, I would then escalate it to higher staff following proper protocol, always prioritizing the integrity of the staff team and the community. It doesn’t matter how well I know the person or what my personal experience with them is- everyone must be treated fairly and equally under the rules. If no other staff member is available to take the ticket and it falls to me, I will handle it with complete impartiality, judging only based on the evidence and server rules. If at any point I feel that my personal connection could create even the appearance of bias, I will immediately disclose this to fellow staff members and recuse myself from the ticket to ensure fairness. Maintaining trust in the staff team is more important than any personal relationship.

I think the server could greatly improve immersion by expanding the available roleplay animations. Instead of needing to create entirely new animations from scratch, it might be worth looking into pulling animation data from frameworks like Clockwork HL2RP or similar Source RP schemas that already have large animation libraries built out. A lot of these frameworks already support things like: Smoking animations. Wall leaning. Notebook writing. Radio use. Searching/patdowns. Injured idles. Sitting variations. Hand interactions. (handover/receive) Investigation poses. Since these already exist within the Source animation sets, it may just be a matter of integrating or porting the animation tables rather than creating entirely new ones. This could save development time while still expanding RP expression. Why this would help: Right now most interactions are just characters standing still during conversations. More available animations would allow players to show emotion, status, and intent through body language instead of only text. This would especially benefit: Mafia meetings. Police investigations. Business RP. Interrogations. Street interactions. This could allow Diverge to quickly expand RP immersion without major development overhead. The goal wouldn't be feature bloat, just giving players more tools to visually roleplay and make interactions feel more alive. The guy in the clip claimed I was following him at first, which he said as I was literally walking away (not only that but you can see him walking around for a whole minute while I was tabbed out). After he said that, I was planning to go up to him and whisper something random but he pulled the gun almost immediately. If he would have said something like "get away or im gonna kill you" or some valid threat, I would have just walked away. The only reason I shot was because I thought he would shoot first (guy seems like a minge to me). He made an in game ticket and I tried to explain that he pointed a gun at me, which I thought at the time is a valid reason to shoot back, but Velocity said it was RDM baiting (something I've never done nor do I tolerate). I could see how he would think that, and I don't think his reasoning was bad either. On his side of things, I rdm'd the same guy a bit earlier before the ban bc he was saying some very disrespectful shit to me and people I know. This led to me making the mistake of shooting him for no RP reason. I don't have many recent RDM PO's (only a 2 or 3 in the past eight months) reflected by the short ban I received. I would like to apologize for crashing out on this guy during my first interaction with him, it was unwarranted and out of the ordinary compared to my normal behavior. I should've left this guy alone but I really thought he was up to no good/minge-ing. Since I joined on January 7th I’ve put over 500 hours into my main character, so I’m on pretty consistently and I’ve seen a lot of different situations play out. After a while it just feels like I should be doing more than just roleplaying and actually helping out on the staff side too. I’ve seen situations where staff handled things really well and it kept everything calm, and I’ve also seen situations go the opposite way and turn into OOC arguments. That’s probably the biggest reason I want to apply, because I’d rather be someone who helps keep things fair and under control instead of letting it get messy. I didn’t apply earlier because I didn’t want to rush into it without actually understanding how the server works. I wanted to spend time playing, see how rules are used in real situations, and get a better feel for the community first. At this point I feel like I have that, and I think I could be useful as staff. Why should you be considered over other candidates?:* I wouldn’t say I should be chosen over everyone else, but I do think I bring a good mix of experience and understanding of how the server works. I’ve spent a lot of time on Diverge across different situations, so I’ve seen how roleplay can go right and also how it can go wrong, which helps when it comes to understanding context instead of just looking at things at face value. I also take rules seriously, not just in a technical sense but in how they’re meant to be applied. A lot of situations aren’t just black and white, so being able to stay fair, look at both sides, and not let bias get in the way is something I think is important, and something I try to do. At the end of the day, I’d just try to handle things properly and consistently. I’ve interacted with a lot of different people and groups, so I’m not really stuck in one circle, which helped me get a better feel for the community overall. As for my reputation, I think most people see me as someone who takes roleplay seriously and doesn’t try to turn everything into an OOC issue. I usually try to keep things in character and handle situations properly instead of escalating them. I think that’s something that would carry over well into a staff position. What is your favourite moment on Diverge so far?: One of my favorite moments was the recent racket event where different factions had to compete for packages and targets. It was super chaotic, but in a good way, and it felt like everyone was fully engaged in the RP. It stood out to me because it brought a lot of people together and created a lot of interaction across different groups instead of everyone just staying in their own lanes. Events like that are what make the server feel active and fun. I’d definitely like to help be part of something like that in the future, whether it’s assisting or helping host it. How do you handle this?: If I’m off-duty and I witness it, I’d clip or record what happened so there’s clear evidence. After that, I’d either make a ticket or let on-duty staff know so someone who’s currently handling sits can deal with it. If a ticket is already up, I’d send whatever evidence I have to the staff member handling it and explain what I saw. I wouldn’t take the sit myself since I was directly involved as a witness. If no staff are available at all, I’d go on-duty to make sure the situation doesn’t get ignored, but I’d still try to keep my involvement minimal and base everything on evidence and logs rather than just my own perspective. You have seen a fellow staff member of higher or equal rank than you abusing fairly often, but never doing anything too noticeable. What do you do?: If I noticed something like that, I wouldn’t jump straight to accusing them. I’d pay attention first and make sure I actually have clear examples of what’s happening, whether that’s clips or anything that shows a pattern instead of just one situation. Once I’m sure there’s actually an issue, I’d bring it up privately to a higher staff member or upper administration and show them what I’ve got. I wouldn’t call it out publicly or try to handle it myself, since stuff like that should be dealt with properly and through the right people. At the end of the day, staff should be held to the same standard as everyone else. If there’s a pattern of abuse, it should be looked into, just in a calm and professional way. How do you proceed knowing this? Does it constitute possible bias?: Yes, it does count as possible bias, so the first thing I’d do is avoid taking the sit if another staff member is available. I’d let someone else handle it so it stays completely fair for both sides. If I was the only staff online and had to deal with it, I’d ignore the fact that I know them and just go off evidence. I’d get both sides, check clips or logs, and treat it like any other ticket. Just because they don’t usually act like that doesn’t mean they couldn’t have broken a rule in that situation. At the end of the day, I wouldn’t let my relationship with them affect the outcome. If they broke a rule, they’d be punished the same as anyone else.

So I'm not really too sure what Crew Deal Discord I was apart of and participating in as a Don but my best guess is this has something to do with this Stand I saw yesterday walking around. Up by the Casino ATM I saw a guy with a stand up called the Eastern Stock Exchange, now I've been seeing and hearing about these stock exchanges popping up so I decided to look into it a bit further. On top of this guys stand was a sign with a brief description of what the Eastern Stock Exchange was and a discord link to their Exchange discord, while I had no intentions of actually risking my money by buying into it, I thought back of the JGN stock exchange and I thought it was the same kinda deal so I joined it to see what was up. Once joining the discord I was given some role, maybe called "Business Man" or something I'm not really sure tbh, but even with this role I could not see any text in any chat. Once seeing that I couldn't see anything in it, I simply forgot about it. I feel it's worth mentioning that me myself never typed or used this discord for any business/financial gain, nor did I spread the discord to others. Looking back on it like yeah I should've looked and seen that there was no UA/Management in it and it was a not legit server and also remembered that Commerce businesses aren't allowed to create their own discord as they're supposed to make a commerce thread. What server rule or PK rule was violated?: So for starters, I'm not entirely sure what I was PK'd for because when I was pulled to an admin sit they just said I was dying. This is from my understanding; I was PK'd because a Bonanno hitman PK'd Declan Kinahan because somebody reached out and asked for help. How we got him set active was Alfredo Zappa went and spoke to the Boss of the Irish Mob and he wrote orders to Zappa, I then was DM'd the screenshot of these orders and forwarded them to Yugi for convenience sake because Yugi was already DMing me earlier. So Gerry Bucco takes out Declan and Zappa tries to save Gerry from Silvano Altoviti so he begins shooting him, they both die. Silvano then runs to the top of Napoli and shoots and kills me from across the street, thats is when I was pulled to an admin sit by Yugi and was told I am being PK'd. I was just told to appeal the PK by Pendred and some other parties, I don't really expect an unPK but it is worth a shot. I was the community manager for Golden Coast Studios and here is essentially what happened from my perspective from start to finish. Me, Superhero, and sushiyama had been Gmod friends for a long time and we all came together and decided we wanted to know what its like to develop/run a RP server the original goal was actually Five M but we realized that was to unrealistic for a first project so we chose gmod to use as a test plus our friends who had weaker computer could play and test with us. gmod was never intended to be our permanent main focus, we weren't after a cult following and had all agreed we are not aiming to be a diverge killer or start problems with Diverge Networks AT FIRST. But as time went on and development continued Hero started Schizoing out as we realized. Claiming diverges staff was trashing us, talking about our personal lives, threatening to dox us PENDRED THIS, PENDRED THAT, and not realizing yet that this dude is a fucking chronic liar believed him and fed into the beef which i admit i was wrong and in retrospect i should not have stepped in or stood up for that retard. time goes on even more and this fucking idiot just lies lies lies oh I'm doing this oh I'm doing that lying about all these girls he talks to we got fed up with his bullshit got so out of hand as High staff we decided to keep this fucking idiot out of the spotlight. What is your motivation/reason for applying?: I am applying for staff because I am often on very late at night where there will still be 40-60 people on the server, but often no staff. I’d like to help out by being available during those times where other staff are sleeping, and I think having staff available at those times would also encourage people to RP more during those hours as some people avoid being on at late hours due to the lack of moderation. Hello person who pked you here! Reason I knew you were up there is: You were actively shooting down at me while I was already engaged in a gunfight with two other people that I had just dealt with. I physically saw your head peeking over the edge of the roof multiple times confirming someone was holding the angle up there. On top of all of this I could clearly identify the bullet trails coming from the roof leading to me to hide around the wall near the bush. I can also tell based on the weapon it was a MPL being fired from above me from your roof. No-one was talking about couping, the conversation was who should take over as Don since ours died and I had said I supported the current UB. I never said I had interest in killing any of the upper management nor taking a seat at the high table or confirmed myself to be gunning for that position. Another thing is that the UB and Consig are not even arguing about who should get the spot, this fuck Mental just wanted to pk me for the fun of it (lick my hairy nuts Mental). Apparently he went to the consig after our talk and told him I wanted to kill him. I never said that, no clip is to be shown because there’s no evidence of me saying it because I did not want him dead. Again, this was him fishing to kill me. 2. The people involved in this matter have just been pk’d and are not allowed to rejoin the faction within a week. They were actively dealing with the consig and appeared to be working under him, coming on the hit after me, being apart of these talks about “who deserves power”. Example Prompts: After a gunfight: "Your hands are still shaking from the adrenaline." After being arrested: "Your heart hasn't quite slowed down from what just happened." After being badly injured: "A sharp pain hits your side whenever you move too quickly." After witnessing violence: "What you just saw keeps replaying in your mind." This wouldn’t force actions, apply debuffs, or take away player freedom in any way. The goal would simply be to provide small reminders that help encourage more believable reactions and maintain emotional continuity during roleplay. Why this could improve RP: A system like this could naturally encourage stronger roleplay habits instead of relying purely on rules or staff intervention. It could also help newer players understand reaction-based RP by subtly showing how characters might realistically respond to stressful situations. Features like this can add a layer of psychological realism while still keeping the experience enjoyable and player-driven. The focus would be immersion, not control. Possible implementation: This could be triggered through simple checks like recently taking heavy damage, being arrested, being near violent activity, or dropping to low health. A cooldown system could also prevent messages from appearing too often so they stay immersive instead of feeling repetitive or intrusive. Overall, the idea would be to enhance atmosphere and roleplay depth without restricting how players choose to play their characters.. I think it would personally be a good addition. This and Daddy Skull's appeal are a great example of how simply being disliked is enough to be permanently banned. I think it's really fucking sad that someone can follow the rules and still get banned for playing the server in a way that's fun to them. It's the same situation for both appeals, they will continue to sit it perma-ban limbo until they quit the server or pay for re-entry. Mugging is a big part of diverge RP, it delivers a reason to fear for losing your shit if you're being careless or caught in a bad place. "Mugging Char" is a sad excuse for a ban, Hans has millions of self-earned value and is risking it every time he attempts to mug. Hey all, I'm taking the time to write out something that has been on my mind pretty much since the last racket event or when I made my last post about punishment scaling in the events. I think the server could really benefit from having some kind of in-character way to get rid of felonies, instead of it just being pardoned or donation-related stuff. Right now if you catch a felony, you’re kinda just stuck with it for a while. It doesn’t really create RP, it just limits what you can do until your either dead or pay father pendred. Stuff that already exists could be used: Doing city jobs / labor work (trash, maintenance, whatever!) Taxi driving for a certain amount of rides or time Fishing at the docks and turning in fish as like a “city quota” Nothing crazy complicated, just tasks that add up over time, and that take a certain amount of time. Add PD Ride-Alongs as a Way to Work Off Felonies Just adding onto the idea of being able to work off felonies, I think it’d be cool if PD ride-alongs were also an option. Not as a main method, but like another path people could take depending on the situation. What I mean Let people with certain felonies do a ride-along with PD and have that count toward reducing it. Nothing crazy just something structured. How it could work You get approved for it (probably by PD HC or a judge) You ride with an officer for a set amount of time You’re expected to actually listen, follow instructions, not mess around etc. If you waste time or troll, you just get removed from this process entirely no retries and it doesn’t count. I understand that my initial ban was due to metagaming. I have reconciled and now have grown more knowledge on how to create a positive roleplay environment within the server. My actions affected both the community and staff. Secondly, the ban on evasion. I joined on my alt account, already thinking my ban was up. I wanted to begin on a new account to close the chapter on everything that had happened previously. I made a mistake thinking my ban was up an hour before it actually was. I can assure you that this mistake won't happen again, as I will not put myself in a situation for that to occur. If I am given another chance, I will make sure to adhere to and also educate others on the server rules if I see others making infractions. I have really enjoyed my time on this server. This community has been an outlet for new friendships and memories. If I do receive another chance, I will prove my ability to contribute to a positive environment. Why should you be unbanned?: I believe that I should be unbanned due to the time I have dedicated to reflecting on my actions, as well as my time understanding the rules further. I understand that both of the reasons I was banned have a negative impact on the experience of others. My actions undermined the rules of this server. My regret is immense as I understand the effects my actions have caused others. I’m not pursuing this ban appeal without reason. I banned you because you were sat on top of a roof shooting down on civilians without making any attempts of arrest but you didn't do this once but twice, not to mention you were in plain clothes and had no badge on. You have been banned a plethora of times for RDM on your cop character and should be grateful you didn't receive a longer punishment. You mentioned the reason behind shooting these people was because "Shooting people because their friends are being punched isn't the correct use of force" which is ironic because don't you think executing a player without making an attempt of arrest would also not be the correct use of force? You've been playing for half a decade and have yet to fully grasp the rules, so I believe I was more than fair with my ruling. Have a good day. Hello Pking Admin here- Being black, slinging dope, and robbing people in the ghetto is not sufficient or valid rp to exempt this char from not being deemed a mugging char. In our sit you stated that you cannot mug on your main so you have not mugged on your main. The same day you created this new char is the same day you decided to mug for the first time. You also stated you where planning on mugging more people on this char. So to make it clear- Your entire roleplay cannot revolve around mugging. It is pretty cut and dry that this character was made so you can mug without the worry of consequences coming back to bite you.

He's been involved with Taka for way more than a week IC/OOC and I've observed plenty of good roleplay from him, I'm pretty sure it was me who hired him. Mugging only becomes an issue when the (((wrong person))) gets mugged, has a baby bitch fit and cries to the admins. If you're mugging people everyday then there would definitely be an issue, however there are many factors for one to avoid being mugged and if it happens to someone, it's on them. I've been mugged before and haven't let my guard down since, it hasn't happened to me again and never will (no I will not knock on wood). What server rule or PK rule was violated?: After reviewing the cops clip I was shot first and with poor escalation. All the cops involved were also killed. He was already pointing his gun at me when I was no threat to anyone around me. In the rules it states, "You MUST follow NLR after every death. You will not remember anything from the last 15 minutes before your last death in RP. Nor can you return to the same RP situation. You are not actually dead unless it's a PK and are otherwise put in the hospital and will recover." If this applies to everybody why is it okay to pk me when they died right after? How would they remember killing me? In the cops clip I didn't shoot at the cop, it shows he shot first so therefore he started the violent confrontation. It felt as if he wanted to pk me. He was holding his gun out of safety for no reason and was pointing at me. In one of the clips attached he was saying a lot of weird stuff about me after he killed me. Oil Containers, LSD Barrels, and Meth Barrels all have the same image. This leads to confusion when trying to sort out between all 3. Example 1: You're selling oil to Rockefeller, but accidentally put in LSD or Meth Example 2: You're doing a crew deal for LSD: Meth, but something either gets mixed up or an accidental oil container gets slipped in there Although these things can be solved through close examination of every item, it would be best if all 3 aren't the same image. Perhaps a change in color for each of the barrels could be a good addition, or different images altogether for LSD and Meth.
