(Reference your unique RP from the question above): The White-Collar Corporation works with every side of the city to host events and provide factions an opportunity to do more mob related things against civilians which so far has been almost nonexistent. By providing these events and different businesses we are promoting civilian/legal RP while also providing criminals/cops RP by interacting with the civilian side. We are involved in all kinds of industries and have a ton of ways for factions interact with our employees as event characters and normal civilians just trying to survive Southside one day at a time. From construction sites, factories, oil tankers, truck robberies, waste management and more we can provide factions unique and new RP that they haven't experienced yet. Besides bringing new stuff we also hope to compete with the other two oil companies in the city and provide some interesting white (and blue) collar RP. Employees who work with us are promoted through profit and performance, making sure that the earners are given more responsibility and the chance to run an industry within the White-Collar Corporation. The following is how we handle day to day operations and how we keep players interested in a corporation. The Corporate Ladder Employees at the White-Collar Corporation have the ability to move up in the ranks at their own pace, with good RP and a hard work ethic employees can earn promotions during regular earning reports where the White-Collar Corporation management look into profits and the employees work done. By climbing the corporate ladder employees can take on manager positions overseeing operations such as construction, call centers, organizing truck shipments and many other industries that need leadership to start up or for the best of the best, the oil business. Every White-Collar Corporation employee should strive to work their way onto the board of the corporation where all major decisions affecting every industry is made as well as the millions of dollars tied to each industry. The board and managers will work together to lay out plans to take over the oil market, making adjustments as needed and introducing new ways for the employees of the White-Collar Corporation to buy oil at greater rates. IP Acquisition: The White-Collar Corporation is regularly looking for new IPs and products or services to provide, taking advantage of the markets looking for assets that are for the taking. Examples of this include the acquisition of the Rockefeller Polo and Pin which brought the WCC into the clothing market, selling this combo for $5,000 to people around the city and being told off by the Rockefeller Company for trying to sell them to Rockefeller employees. Another example is the dissolution of Dom's Deli and La Fucina, a White-Collar Corporation employee saw opportunity and reserved the names of these businesses before trying to use the LLCs as leverage to speak with the Bonanno Crime Family and secure future business for the corporation while handing the businesses back. While the White-Collar Corporation understands business it does not understand the streets of Southside and how crime ridden they are, leading to Mr. White-Collar to be picked up outside of one of his businesses and sat down with the head of The Commission to understand why a corporation would try to buy out a deli and gun store before resolving the situation with a handshake and two glasses of whiskey... Breaking into the Market: The White-Collar Corporation will be relentless with breaking into the oil market to compete with the current oil companies. Only the most efficient and ruthless employees will become management or join the board within the oil division of the White-Collar Corporation where we will compete with and secure the customer base of the current oil companies by introducing an aggressive buying campaign as well as looking to provide a more stable presence in the market allowing customers to make their purchases without having to wait constantly for the other two oil companies. We intentionally made our organization multi-ethnic rather than limiting to just one group of people in order to open up further roleplay potential for a wider group of people and characters and to showcase the furthered success a faction can have by removing this largely limiting factor. In our faction, there will be a high degree of professionalism, competence, and reliability. Our roleplay will be professional contract killings performed by trusted members according to the specific needs of our clients. To keep our members active within Murder, Inc., we plan to promote structured operations and a thorough system of progression rather than random and infrequent events. One major point we want to emphasize is the concept of contract developments. Before any high-level hit is approved, members of our faction will have to do their due diligence. This will look like determining client standing, risk assessment, and whether or not the contract is logically sound. The idea is for this to create multi-day roleplay situations involving “surveillance” such as tailing, trading information, and controlled meetings/sitdowns. Not every contract will be accepted, which encourages discussion, tension, and internal politics. We will also run a ladder progression type system for our members. New members will not immediately participate in high-profile work. They will begin with smaller assignments such as collections, message delivery, and/or intimidation. Performance, discretion, and discipline will determine an individual’s advancement in Murder, Inc. This will provide a clear in-character path for growth and will give newer players structured goals. Another major roleplay opportunity is the actual planning of our work/operations. The most obvious part of this is being a street gang, I think its vital to the server to have differing variety in factions with differing structures, ideals, end goals. I think the main problem is that all the factions have the same goal currently, make a ton of money and advance their racket. The goal of this faction is to act as an alternative from the rest, We do not intend to make a profit or achieve a high end racket. We simply want to provide realistic street gang roleplay without the pressure of constantly processing. With that being said, taking things by violence and domination is the centerpiece of a street gang. Obviously rampant violence and robberies have a negative connotation on the server and is closely tied to mingy behavior. In which we plan to counter this belief by making this a hard faction to join and be extremely picky about who to let in. The faction will not be tailored around a typical crime family structure but rather a crew structure to reflect the reality of a street gang. It will not be a big faction by any means and I can say that confidently now instead of sugarcoating it, I want this to be a niche group of quality role-players that set an example of how to be selective with members and etc. The most controversial part of this faction which I think will be unpopular but I think is worth the experiment, I intend on making people apply to join this faction, I want to really dig out the minges and bad larpers associated with a street gang. The application process would compose of something like a character backstory, providing RP examples, and obviously asking them what they bring to the table RP wise. The application inherently is completely OOC but I feel like it will get a good grasp on mingy behavior and I think my track record goes to show my stance on minges and poor RPers Provide examples or event ideas to promote activity within your faction and keep people interested. The best way to keep people interested is to keep them on their toes, even though the vacuum is fabricated to a degree, you still have the risk of losing your character which all people accept is going to happen especially when they join a faction. These dynamics can lead to fun situations between juggling external and internal affairs where we all have fun which is the point of the faction. Also as aforementioned, the exclusivity of the faction is a big selling point for the faction and should motivate people to be good at RP and what they do to hold their spot which is critical in retention. I believe most community members see me as fair, consistent, and someone who genuinely enjoys bringing positive energy to the server. What is your favorite moment on Diverge so far? I have quite a few favorite moments, but the ones that stand out the most are the times I’ve been promoted, whether it was at the District Attorney’s Office, within the police department, or inside various crime factions. There’s something very satisfying about seeing all the hard work and dedication pay off and get officially acknowledged by the community and leadership. Have any staff members recommended you? How do you handle this? If I am able to hop on duty without interrupting important roleplay, I will do so and take the ticket directly. If I am currently in the middle of active roleplay, I will keep an eye on the ticket queue and the flow of tickets being accepted by on-duty staff. Once my roleplay concludes, if the ticket is still open, I will request that the player remake the ticket so I can take it properly while on duty. If the admin system allows for better handling of off-duty situations, I will quickly learn and adapt to that method to ensure the situation is addressed efficiently and fairly. You have seen a fellow staff member of higher or equal rank than you abusing fairly often, but never doing anything too noticeable. What do you do? The first step I would take is to speak with them privately in a calm and respectful manner. There may be context I’m unaware of, and addressing it directly like a fellow team member can often resolve the issue without escalating unnecessarily. I would explain what I’ve observed and give them the opportunity to clarify or correct the behavior. If the issue continues after our conversation, I would then escalate it to higher staff following proper protocol, always prioritizing the integrity of the staff team and the community. It doesn’t matter how well I know the person or what my personal experience with them is- everyone must be treated fairly and equally under the rules. If no other staff member is available to take the ticket and it falls to me, I will handle it with complete impartiality, judging only based on the evidence and server rules. If at any point I feel that my personal connection could create even the appearance of bias, I will immediately disclose this to fellow staff members and recuse myself from the ticket to ensure fairness. Maintaining trust in the staff team is more important than any personal relationship.

this guy 100% just got a felony

I'm not entirely sure how possible this is but ever since the stashes have been added they have a flawed way of timing you out of your items. The stash will lock you out of it regardless of the reason or way you take damage, it could be car accident, starvation, fall damage, drug addiction or combat between players. How I've thought it over is some how mimic the system weapons, clothes and swapping characters have and detect player combats instead of all of the above. Doing this change would be a massive QoL update for those who actually use stashes (everyone that isn't retarded) saving a little bit of time on top of the 10ish seconds you have wait to actually use the stashes, I see almost no reason not to do this but if there is reason behind this I'd like to know why.

What server rule or PK rule was violated?: So for starters, I'm not entirely sure what I was PK'd for because when I was pulled to an admin sit they just said I was dying. This is from my understanding; I was PK'd because a Bonanno hitman PK'd Declan Kinahan because somebody reached out and asked for help. How we got him set active was Alfredo Zappa went and spoke to the Boss of the Irish Mob and he wrote orders to Zappa, I then was DM'd the screenshot of these orders and forwarded them to Yugi for convenience sake because Yugi was already DMing me earlier. So Gerry Bucco takes out Declan and Zappa tries to save Gerry from Silvano Altoviti so he begins shooting him, they both die. Silvano then runs to the top of Napoli and shoots and kills me from across the street, thats is when I was pulled to an admin sit by Yugi and was told I am being PK'd. I was just told to appeal the PK by Pendred and some other parties, I don't really expect an unPK but it is worth a shot. I've also noticed that during non-peak hours, the time for a ticket to be accepted by an admin is very slow. This has resulted in some frustration between peers of mine, and including myself. I also am very eager to become a staff member. Why should you be considered over other candidates?: I believe that my ability to exclude bias during important decisions makes me viable for staff. I also don't really have an ego, and I am very reflective of my own decisions at times. What is your favorite moment on Diverge so far?: There's too many to chose from, so Ima give my top 3 (no particular order) 1) Becoming Underboss in a criminal faction. That was really cool for me and was a reflection on how far I came with them. 2) Alien invasion event at like 3 am. Was very cool mowing down aliens. 3) The February racket event. How do you handle this?: If I am not busy with roleplay matters, I will take the ticket immediately. If I am busy, I will make sure to keep an eye on the tickets to see if any other staff takes it. Once any important matters are concluded and the ticket is still open, I will take it, or in the case of something else, I will ask them to remake the ticket. What do you do?: To begin with, I would attempt to chat with them privately about their abuse in a manner that is polite and respectful. This is because if I were to immediate jump the gun and report him, there could be some vital knowledge that would result in the abuse of power, and I would look dumb for reporting it. Nonetheless, I would explain what I observed and ask for their feedback, reasoning, or further insight on what I saw. If the issues persist without any clear deductive reasoning behind it, I would bring it up to higher staff, following the protocols that are in place. A member of your faction / friend of yours has a ticket made against them accusing them of RDM’ing, and minging. You know that this person rarely does this when you play with him. How do you proceed knowing this? Does it constitute possible bias?: Rules are rules. If you break them, you are to be warned/punished, no matter who it is. However, to reduce bias, I would first see if any fellow staff members could take the ticket. If it's just me on, then I will try my best to respond to the ticket in the most unbiased manner I can, strictly looking at the rules to see if any rule break had occurred. However, if the personal connection is too strong, a conflict of interest would occur, which would constitute bias. I just got literally arrested yesterday. Like ????? Why even have them?? All I wanted to do was play my 3d cookie clicker. I click the drug buy. I wait, and play cookie clicker on my phone (i LOVE incremental games) and then I pick up my drugs. Why do we NEED cops for this process?? Like, yesterday I was processing drugs that I bought, and I was playing Adventure Capitalist on my phone irl (i LOVE incremental games) and I go to sell my drugs to the npc, and a cop arrests me for open carry??? Like why break the RP????? I now have to reset my drug process and I dont even get a prestige bonus. I physically saw your head peeking over the edge of the roof multiple times confirming someone was holding the angle up there. On top of all of this I could clearly identify the bullet trails coming from the roof leading to me to hide around the wall near the bush. I can also tell based on the weapon it was a MPL being fired from above me from your roof. We asked him multiple times to leave the property because his presence was interfering with our roleplay. He eventually stepped outside, but stayed right near the entrance, which continued to deter customers and hurt the RP. I ask that it be recognized that escalation with police cannot merely start with punching a cop. I'd be PKed in a heartbeat, or be a tactical disadvantage. Instead, I waited for his conduct to continue to go on, he clearly wasn't intending on deescalating or leaving the area. There was no fail escalation here. While I was mugging him, my playermodel was an old guy with a beard and glasses, and I had both an oxygen mask and another mask on that made me show up as a masked individual. After the incident, I stayed hidden inside Imperial for about 20 minutes. Then I went to Urban Outfitters and changed everything: my playermodel, beard, glasses, oxygen mask, even my description. I completely switched identities. After that, I stayed hidden in Garrison for a long time. I even opened a ticket and explained the whole situation to Shauningt, asked a bunch of questions about mugging. You can see the questions I asked and the answers I got in the screenshots below. After the ticket, everything seemed normal to me. Then there was this guy, very obviously Russian, waiting in front of our shop. I’m not exaggerating, he stayed there for about 3 hours. I can assure you that this mistake won't happen again, as I will not put myself in a situation for that to occur. If I am given another chance, I will make sure to adhere to and also educate others on the server rules if I see others making infractions. I have really enjoyed my time on this server. This community has been an outlet for new friendships and memories. If I do receive another chance, I will prove my ability to contribute to a positive environment. Why should you be unbanned?: I believe that I should be unbanned due to the time I have dedicated to reflecting on my actions, as well as my time understanding the rules further. I understand that both of the reasons I was banned have a negative impact on the experience of others. My actions undermined the rules of this server. My regret is immense as I understand the effects my actions have caused others. I’m not pursuing this ban appeal without reason. I ask for your forgiveness because I have now committed myself to changing my behavior. If allowed back, I will make sure to follow all rules as well as respect staff decisions. I do understand that trust has to be earned, and I am very willing to prove myself to everyone that I can do better. Hello, firstly I’m gonna set aside the comments regarding the suits that you may or may not have attempted to sell. To me it’s extremely irrelevant and not even mentioned in the dons orders message. The only stated reason for your death was that you left the family, which could create a potential security risk for the faction. You did provide an image showing that you were given permission to leave, and that’s all well and good. However, this is the mafia. We all know people are not and will not always be honest about these sort of things. It is entirely possible to be told one thing and then be dealt with later, when you least expect it. Frankly just how the mafia works. All in all factions can lie about you having permission to leave. Also, even if the person who wrote the orders did not know you were okay to leave, that’s a mistake on them and you would not be getting unpkd for that as well.

Your story isn't matching up anymore. Before Luca died there was 2 or 3 meetings I had privately. All of them were discussing either Luca, Ralphie or old timers that would be coming back. There was not a single time I disrespected high command nor plotted to coup. And to touch on your story not matching up, you said that I disrespected you and The Machine during the sitdown. Luca Vintaloro died not too long after that. If these are old orders but you state that I disrespected you both during the sit, why is the disrespect added into the pk orders? Your reasonings don't align up, you have no proof of anything I was pk'd for, nor did grizzly investigate before taking the ticket.

Hey all, I'm taking the time to write out something that has been on my mind pretty much since the last racket event or when I made my last post about punishment scaling in the events. I think the server could really benefit from having some kind of in-character way to get rid of felonies, instead of it just being pardoned or donation-related stuff. Right now if you catch a felony, you’re kinda just stuck with it for a while. It doesn’t really create RP, it just limits what you can do until your either dead or pay father pendred. Stuff that already exists could be used: Doing city jobs / labor work (trash, maintenance, whatever!) Taxi driving for a certain amount of rides or time Fishing at the docks and turning in fish as like a “city quota” Nothing crazy complicated, just tasks that add up over time, and that take a certain amount of time. Add PD Ride-Alongs as a Way to Work Off Felonies Just adding onto the idea of being able to work off felonies, I think it’d be cool if PD ride-alongs were also an option. Not as a main method, but like another path people could take depending on the situation. What I mean Let people with certain felonies do a ride-along with PD and have that count toward reducing it. Nothing crazy just something structured. How it could work You get approved for it (probably by PD HC or a judge) You ride with an officer for a set amount of time You’re expected to actually listen, follow instructions, not mess around etc. If you waste time or troll, you just get removed from this process entirely no retries and it doesn’t count.
