What is your motivation/reason for applying?: I am applying for staff because I am often on very late at night where there will still be 40-60 people on the server, but often no staff. I see minges beating people with bats or repeatedly breaking NLR with no staff to stop them; sometimes I’ll want to make a PK ticket or report ltarp and there is will be no staff on to take the ticket. I’d like to help out by being available during those times where other staff are sleeping, and I think having staff available at those times would also encourage people to RP more during those hours as some people avoid being on at late hours due to the lack of moderation. Why should you be considered over other candidates?: I think I should be considered over other candidates because I thoroughly know the rules, because I have been long enough to know how the rules are supposed to be applied, and because of my availability. More than just reading the rules, I have learned the technicalities and specifics of how rules are supposed to be applied and the expectations that UA have for how and when rules should be enforced, from the simple cases of things like RDM and LTARP, to lesser-known rules regarding the government and the courts. Would you say that you are well known in our community, what's your reputation, what do other members think of you?: I am certainly well-known in the community, some people love me, some people not so much. From running the City Council and my Newspaper/News Show years ago, to being the District Attorney for a while, to being a Capo in the commission up until a couple months ago, I think I am at least decently well-known in every crevice of our community. I'm certainly known for doing good RP in general, and have a pretty good reputation besides one kind of half exception regarding a few people in PD who still dislike me because of some of the more unorthodox RP I did as DA. Overall though, I am known enough in the community, my reputation is generally pretty good, and the only people who think down of me is because of RP beef, which is cringe to take across characters. What is your favourite moment on Diverge so far?: I am not sure if I could say one favorite moment here on Diverge. I’ve enjoyed lots of RP, from conducting independent criminal investigations as a cop, to going to all sorts of parties as a mafioso, to hitting the mattresses and going to war as a criminal. Honestly, much of my fun on Diverge comes from hanging out with and talking to other people. The server has a slower pace than most places and people aren’t constantly in conflict, and I think that’s one of the things that makes this place so great. Have any staff members recommended you? If so, list their names: I was playing in the middle of the night I believe last week, and there was a console message saying to put Pendred as a recommendation if I was on late enough to see it; that’s the main reason i’m applying. ------------------------------------------------- Problem Solving Detail step by step exactly the actions you would take. Someone RDMs and you are currently off-duty. How do you handle this?: If someone RDMs me and I am off-duty, I would take a clip and ask a different member of staff to handle the situation. Unless I am the only staff on, I think handling it myself would be inappropriate. You have seen a fellow staff member of higher or equal rank than you abusing fairly often, but never doing anything too noticeable. What do you do?: If I see another staff member abusing, I would clip the abuse and screenshot any pertinent logs before sending the evidence to an appropriately high staff member. A member of your faction / friend of yours has a ticket made against them accusing them of RDM’ing, and minging. You know that this person rarely does this when you play with him. How do you proceed knowing this? Does it constitute possible bias?: If I am handling an RDM ticket and my friend is accused of RDM and minging, I would proceed like any other staff sit. I would ask for a clip and reference everything with the logs and then punish him if necessary. I will treat all players, friends or not, the same when it comes to staff members, and any friends I have that get mad that I warn/ban them for RDM when they do RDM are too dumb to be my friend.

hi! im super lazy and dont want to sort my banks, what if! like in tarkov and other games! there was a button that sorted all your items into categories! like ammo, food, clothing, weapons ect and put them all nicely in a line! that would save a lot of time i think! would be cool if you could also sort alphabetically along side the category sorting! this would help a lot for finding clothing!

I realized something, when youre wearing a mask, everyone in the same family can still see your face model in TAB, even if youve never shared your name (F3) with them. The fact that people who don’t even have your F3 can see your player model just because youre wearing a mask… doesnt make any sense in my opinion I dont have this guys name at all, and Im pretty sure he doesnt even know who the fuck I am lol I think it needs to be fixed.

Hi banning admin here. I was asked to weigh in on, and then enact your ban during a conversation with at least 6 other staff members, including staff higher ranking than myself. Looking through your logs, it is blatantly apparent to me, as well as the other staff, that you don't intend to roleplay. In your previous appeal, you said: "If I get unbanned, I plan to roleplay and add to the servers experience instead of take away from it. If I come back to the server I won't be mugging at all, shouting at people for no reason, or breaking any rules." So far you have spent most of your time mugging, outside of that AFK'ing at your property, and making negative and cringeworthy Underground Advertisement endlessly. It's worth noting that hiring a few people and ordering oil is not what constitutes roleplay. Your provided evidence of roleplay is also pretty sub-par. You have been known to mug various people who blatantly have nothing of value on their person, which to my eye is likely PK hunting. You make the core of your character, down to his nickname, about mugging. You post a large number of rumours per session gloating about your muggings, and announcing plans for your next muggings. All of this adds up, as well as your previous bans and reputation - to show that you are just a mugging character, who can provide little to no valuable roleplay to the server. The testimony of a small handful of Takahashi players that you "have been helpful in the 1 week you were there" is not doing much to disprove that, either. PK hunting, most failmugs (which you have done at least one) and NITRP are all bannable offenses. Referencing Canadian's judgement on your perma ban appeal: "If you are banned again it will be extended to permanent once more." Thus I extended your ban to permanent. TL;DR - I was asked to ban you if I believed your actions constituted a ban, I did, as did numerous other staff. You had a 1 strike, you're out policy laid out to you when you were unperma'd. But if there is staff members already on-duty I will just get a clip and let them handle it and make sure it's enough proof. What do you do?: I would gather as much clips as possible of him abusing and send it to a higher up but not him. I would send the clips to the chain of command until it reaches a administrator or higher rank. Hello, While you claim your death was the result of you being RDM'd whilst you were pk active (due to you partaking in a hit). There is very little, if anything, we as staff can do to verify this claim without a clip for you or your killer. Logs simply do not tell the full story. There is not enough evidence on our end to suggest that a rule was broke in this perma kill that could subsequently warrant your character being unpk'd.

Honestly, Hans, I have no personal problem with you, but the ONLY "Roleplay" I have seen from you is sitting at the garrison for hours at a time and then going out and mugging 5 people a night, at least thats how its been conveyed to me and what I've seen through various clips. Just because you use this character for roleplay SOMETIMES doesnt mean its not a mugging character when in 6 separate staff members opinions (who this was discussed between) your express purpose on the server is mugging.

To clarify for the record, I have verifiable proof that I left the faction on 2/27. Based on the claimed two-week cooldown, that period would have concluded on 3/13. Realistically, the only alternative I could have taken would have been to go on a two-week LOA. However, even that would likely have triggered orders regardless. More importantly, my departure was not voluntary in its timing or manner- I acted at the direct request of command, which I was obligated to follow. I had intended to remain longer and potentially approach things differently, but that option was ultimately not available to me. Additionally, I have not found any PK or general rule that explicitly establishes this cooldown requirement, nor was it clearly communicated to me by handlers in a way that applied to my situation or timeline. I appreciate the input provided, but I believe this also overlooks the issue of identity. Without clear evidence of corruption or exposure, it is difficult to see how my identity would be known in-character, which is a critical factor in justifying the outcome.

I acknowledge this and appreciate the information as well as you doing what you felt was right- which was setting the PK. With that said, I know you aren't ruling on this, but I simply want to respond so the record is as clear as I can make it. It must be understood I was literally on the verge of my next promotion, which- for the sake of civilian life needed to be avoided. Not only this, but I was told by handlers that for one reason or another, I would VERY likely be killed if I didn't pull out when it was requested anyways.
