We will have a social code of not using any extremely expensive vehicles or outfits, we want to be known for giving money back to the people whenever we can. Eventually, whenever were set up on our feet pretty good, we want to make a place where gambling addicts can get 10k whenever they lose all of their money to get back onto their feet without having to take a loan. Being a crime family, we are disgracing ourselves in the eyes of our god. So we donate back out, we try and do everything possible to outbalance the terrible acts that we commit. Way further down the line we would like to get a gun racket and sell them legally. We would never sell them illegally, because that is something that we do not have to do to continue giving back to the community. From what I saw, it felt like the players involved acted out of OOC frustration or personal issues instead of their characters’ actual motives. It broke the immersion and made the roleplay feel unfair, which is disappointing since I’ve always tried to take RP seriously and stay true to my character. I’m not completely sure what the exact reasoning or orders behind my character’s death were, but based on what I’ve heard, it seems like it was influenced more by OOC stuff than anything that made sense IC. There wasn’t proper escalation, and it didn’t fit with my character’s story or any real conflict that would’ve justified it. Also, the player I believe was mainly involved has a history of causing or exaggerating drama and not being fully honest in past situations. so, it’s hard to see this as a fair or natural outcome of roleplay. tldr: we broke up and she got me killed for no reason

The server offers fun experiences with total strangers that can lead to real friendship. I believe part of the reason these experiences are possible is because of the moderation team and ownership, and I have a few hours a week I don’t know what to do with, so I thought I should give back to the community. Why should you be considered over other candidates?: * I have been around the server for nearly 4 years. I know the frustration caused by poor or biased moderation and I aim to do my part in eliminating it. I understand that I broke the rules and I appreciate that I was appropriately reprimanded as such, and since then I have followed the rules as closely as I can. Would you say that you are well known in our community, what's your reputation, what do other members think of you?: * I’m not sure if I would say I’m “well known,” but I speak to several people quite regularly and I talk to people in passing decently often. There’s a few people in the police department I would genuinely call my friends, as well as some civilians and people in my other factions. I think most people would think I’m a fairly normal guy and they wouldn’t hold many strong opinions about me. What is your favourite moment on Diverge so far?: There’s several that come to mind, recently I was a big part of a charity boxing event that 20+ people attended, the various police events I’ve been a part of, as well as many from when I was second-in-command of the Myers Family about 3.5 years ago. The one that stands out the most, however, was the first time I had somebody pk’d. Within the first week or two of me joining the server, I had been robbed and some of my friends found the robber and brought him to me tied and blindfolded. I remember having to ask how to make the staff ticket and finally being given the green light to kill the guy. I believe it’s experiences like that that make this server special and if I can be a bigger part of it I want to be. Have any staff members recommended you? How do you handle this?: Make a ticket like a normal player, if there is no other staff to take the ticket I will collect evidence to put on the forums. You have seen a fellow staff member of higher or equal rank than you abusing fairly often, but never doing anything too noticeable. What do you do?: Collect evidence of them abusing and make a staff report. A member of your faction / friend of yours has a ticket made against them accusing them of RDM’ing, and minging. You know that this person rarely does this when you play with him. How do you proceed knowing this? Does it constitute possible bias?: I would proceed like normal, I would check the logs, ask for clips, and do everything I could to find the truth. It doesn’t matter that this person is my friend, if they did something wrong they should be punished accordingly. ---------------------------------------------------------

Hello, I am the staff that had approved your PK; you had run over a cop while trying to flee from them pulling you over. This ruling was permitted under Pk Rules under confrontations with police, while not explicitly covered under the section-- any malicious attempt at getting away or killing cops with a vehicle will still lead to VCWP. The first cop you hit I will admit could be excusable for an accident, but the second officer you hit seemed intentional and malicious. We try to take situations like this in a realistic manner, if you were to hit a cop in real life the way you did here obviously the other officers watching it happen would shoot to kill. Sorry for the loss of your character!

+1 PRO: - Diverse - I really enjoyed your RP suggestions, they're out of the box and I think will work quite well. - I really like the idea of your faction being morally 'good' guys, found that quite interesting. - Backstory was a decent read, few mistakes i.e 'Whenever their father died, Pavel Popov took over for the family' This reads like the father frequently dies and someone has to take over lol. CON - I hate the Google slides doc, mainly the grey text on black background. Would be so much easier to read if it was just white. - The text in the forum post gets kind of 'wall of texty' I kinda wish you'd of broken that down in a google doc too Considerations - I think you're going to have to work that extra bit hard to keep your ideas alive and not become like every other faction, people love to shoot guns and be dicks and I think as soon as you waver from the 'serious' RP of your faction, this will start to creep in.

Good evening, There is quite a few things to go over with this but ultimately it is getting denied and I'll elaborate on every point to clear up any confusion. 1. Suppressors do not make gunshots unable to be heard through buildings, guns are very loud and suppressors do not make them "silent" or unable to be heard, the only mechanic for guns that isn't allowed to be used in RP in terms of sound is the loading sound that plays when you equip more ammo. 2. The cop did in fact hear the gun shot and this was not a personal ploy against you. They were staking you out longer than you had known, and did hear the gunshot from when you murdered the man. There was no underhanded tactics at play, the officer was simply camping out and you missed them. 3. Having a dupe up does not make any noises from your room invalid, you fired a weapon in a very small room, a "barrier" on the window would not dampen this noise nearly enough for people, or in this case the police, from hearing gun shots. In the evidence from the police side provided to me they very clearly see you put up the dupe, and there is no question as to what room the gun fire came from. I understand with a skewed view how you may believe this situation to be powergame, but after getting both sides and reviewing all the evidence there was no abuse of game mechanics to get an upper-hand on you and your associate, rather a lack of awareness led to what happened in this situation. In the future, please be aware that suppressors are not the end all be all in terms of avoiding detainment, and it is still a very loud gun being fired in a very tiny room.

been thinking about this for a little and had to ask somewhere; whats so wrong/bad about people being in the back of vehicles? people have been riding in truck beds/the back of vehicles ever since their inception irl and yet we have seem to have an unspoken OOC rule that seems to forbid people from doing such in character; somehow its failrp, nitrp, or some other hammed up reason that i've come across in the past- but truth be told there is nothing unrealistic about the practice. whenever i've asked staff about it in the past they've given me a firm no and cautionary warning against it and while happy to oblige at a staff's discretion on rules- after a cursory glance there is no real server/vehicle rule around the practice. i dare not risk the practice in RP when it would matter having that nebulousness surrounding it- still theres a part of me that is curious as to whether or not you can be allowed to use it as a medium for transport or even going as far as use in drive-by's if in a time of conflict. people would still be liable to the dangers that are implied in standing in an open truck bed (i.e. falling out or ragdolling) and its very clearly/obviously illegal to have an unsecured passenger (no less one firing a weapon), but again it is hardly unrealistic. can there be some clarity on this for future reference? if there are issues surrounding performance or otherwise that keep it from being viable that is fine; but perhaps if thats the case there should be an addendum to the vehicle rules to help cement it because as it stands all we have is a gentleman's agreement.
