idk how many people remember having the rope tool but it sucks it got removed due to all the rope art that had a million ropes in them which led to server lag. my solution: set the rope limit to like 10 to prevent this issue from happening again.

logs only go so far back until a higher rank needs to search the deep storage. im not apart of this ban nor have an opinion, but if it is true, evidence other than both of the accounts will help you a lot more. you said you use the same computer but have multiple videos of both of you playing, just take a picture of the computers beside eachother and dm it to a higher staff.

nb2x95 76561199802104472 892499216662925343 RDM | ARDM 14 days This ridiculous tbh i was following the rules enjoying my time back and got on my cop character to go on patrol, we ran into a lady and a man and then later on were in pursuit of the woman because she claimed people were firing shots. she was standing on the bridge trying to run away so i broke it and unfortunately she died. Then later on my partner tried arresting me so i ran across the bridge and broke it so they couldnt get to me and some random civilian (the one who complained by the way who i did not even kill) was following us around the whole time and was on the bridge trying to run towards me when i broke it and then he fell down on to the trash bags and SURVIVED he then killed me and i was back at pd talking to my partner who i killed and he didnt really care he just said "dont shoot me again" and then as me and him were going back out on patrol i got pulled and at first pyro sounded chill until he started saying he was gonna ban me even when i told him my reasoning, I understand how my actions could have made other people angry with me but in the end the 2 people who died did not care not in the slightest and were not even the ones who made the ticket. I understand i have a terrible track record but i truly enjoy playing this server. Admins if youd like to see the clip id be more than willing to stream it to you on my pager as i dont have medal premium and cant paste the clip for you.

Hello, First off, for future reference mugging in the clothing store IS allowed. But, in this specific situation you were in close proximity to the NPCs, within line of sight. Even standing behind them like you were in this situation counts. Had you been more inside the backroom and had line of sight then this PK would stand. This is not the case. The situation is distinctly unique and is not a "1:1" of a different PK with an entirely different set of circumstances, the only similarity being the general location. Whereas here the individual isn't properly put into fear rp until they are directly behind the NPCs. Do note that if you were placed under fear rp and then ran infront of them this PK would also stand, this is what happened in the referenced previous PK by the responding admin.

I don't really give a flying fuck if you denied somebody else's appeal, this is about server rules, you have a rule that you cannot mug in line of sight of NPCS, THERE IS AN NPC IN LINE OF SIGHT OF ME THE ENTIRE TIME! What is the point of the "NPC Line of sight" rule if I clearly was in their line of sight. You should make the rule way more clear if you're just gonna disregard it entirely.

-1 TLDR: Keep jmooresy banned cake. Starting diverge I had jmz repeatedly shout abuse at me with no context of the rp of the server, later finding out that this guy was a staff member and was treating me like this in my first steps of the server could've pushed some people away so I'm glad I knew to ignore someone just dribbling hatred for no reason as after this and joining a faction that wasn't just shouting abuse at me. Further more I've had this guy show up to an apt in ghetto, switch to his staff char to see what was happening and then switch back to his main char. (What a lovely second meeting). During the conflict I had repeatedly again received abuse (including telling me to kill myself) from jmz but also from his cronies who were instructed to spout the same hatred that this insecure wee guy had spent months shouting at me. Finally moving on from my own bias and looking at the situation from a wider perspective, this is just me, I've talked to other people with similar experiences, these are the people who have stuck around, how many people has jmooresy bullied off the server before the got a chance to explore it? With the events that took place and in the lead up to the ban jmooresy was known to be a nuisance, but went over the line truly with the doxxing. To upload a ban appeal 6 days later stating to have changed, while hanging around in diverge general in my personal opinion shows a lack of growth and learning and more of a desperate plea and bargaining to try and claw his way back in without fully taking on the consequences of what he has done, without thinking about now others may feel about him being back, especially those who has harassed and ultimately doxxed, minor or not it's a complete arsehole move and I would be disappointed with the higher ups of the server if a ban was lifted so soon for behaviour that is hurting the servers player base at an ooc level. So, a couple of points. Obviously, the rules state that the orders have to be given within 2 weeks of the individual leaving the faction, which occurred and is verifiable. Good on the pking staff member for getting the logs, especially considering these pks can take a while and end in the logs being wiped. On consideration of this evidence, this pk appeal will be denied. The proper protocols were followed. In regards to your assertion that they should've couped you, its way easier to kill you after you leave instead of couping you. And a lot less risky. Hello Mark, Happy here! there are a number of reasons we have chosen to kill you ranging from failing as a leader and losing an entire hotel as well as wasting up to 250 million of faction funds. You bent over for other families and left the Gambino faction to fall to its lowest.

Replace the movie theatre and warehouse. Fundamentally useless properties that hardly are used that can be replaced by more functional ones that people visit more often. Warehouses dupes are always unappealing and just look off all the time. You can probably find better properties to put there.

The computer my wife used previously had a 1060 and an i5 processor from 2015. That obviously has died since then. The current setup we have now is a laptop with a 2070 that she uses and a Steam deck that I use. I tried logging into the server a few months back on my deck but the mods on the server or something else didn’t make this compatible and black screened with audio. We’re trying to help as much as possible but it obviously gets to a point where we don’t want to take pictures of ourselves for people we don’t know online. Pyro has ignored responses from me in a DM and if that’s the case how can we get any help?

@anzati1 - They both played on the server together when they had two computers. - One crashed. So now they only have one. - That's why now they play separately on their own accounts, on one computer. - And that's where this ban came from, they said Tron was using an alt. - There are videos clearly showing both of them on their own accounts playing at the same exact time prior to them only having a shared computer. If they only have one computer now, how can they take a picture of two different setups? It's like nobody is even reading the thread before responding.

In addition to the /911 command you can now dial 911 which will ring a phone at the PD. Why do we need this in diverge? Those that get stuck with desk duty in PD now have to act as a 911 operator that will answer 911 calls and direct units to the call. The /911 command has no roleplay to it and being able to actually call the cops and speak to an officer would be really funny.

Hello, I am the staff member who banned you. Regardless of the situation, you should be making a player report ticket if you feel like someone was breaking the rules against you. Furthermore, you shot this person with no initiation and then immediately left the game. Not okay. Considering the context of the situation, 1 day is not that big of a deal. Lastly, its always a bad look when you use AI to write your ban appeal instead doing it youself (aside from the first paragraph). Em dashes

Just actually sat down and read through all of the faction related PK options now: I was nothing important and had done nothing other than join the faction, play security to see if I fit (for 20 minutes) and then got dragged around and taught how to play. I then logged off for a while and did not touch the character. When I rejoined, I had left the faction (I had no idea I needed to go up some crazy chain of command) considering my unimportant rank. I believe this is why they had gone out of their way to have me killed?

So that's just it? No conversation otherwise to be had or discussion given my low-ranking initial position? Normally I would cop it on the chin and leave it without a word, but I don't exactly see my leaving (after an hour if not less) truly affecting anybody. I would have been happy to return the baseball bat if that were what this was about. I've given the PK faction rules a decent scan, and it seems that it does not 100% meet the criteria for character death.

I now realize I should have reported the behavior to staff instead of reacting and leaving, but I felt stuck in the moment. Why should you be unbanned?
