+1 Me and lowkey have been friends for years we had joined diverge to have fun and met a friend group they got us in constant trouble in the month of November i had left 3 weeks later he leaves as well we didn't stay in contact until a week ago we have both left this friend group because they did nothing but exploit us for there doing we just want to play the server again and have fun again he made a mistake and was punished but in recent events he's changed for the better and deserves a chance to prove himself without the bad crowd. i know in the short time frame it might look like hes not but if you give him a chance he wont let you down.

Oh i seem to recall, you got off a perma then got back onto server to minge, i re-banned you and you appealed again, when that got denied you started sperging out in discords and other posts about wanting to kill people. What you did isn't damaging, it's just stupid. Your first appeal you were crying and apologizing acting like it was the worst mistake in the world, got given a chance, wasted it, got re-banned and when you appealed and got denied because the crying wasn't working anymore you had a schizo snap.

Well, I'd watch how you put things because I am convinced that you are confused. You can check logs and see that he had pulled and aimed a gun at me, therefore check your knowledge before you make any accusations. Obviously he was mad so he cut the part of him aiming and drawing a gun on me and my buddies to make it look like I just shot him for no reason. ALSO never said I accidentally clicked and shot him I said I was putting attachments on and THEN shot him. I did not remember if I was aiming or not is what I said so dont get my words mixed up, I know what I did and didn't do.

Hello, I was the person that reported you. Nothing about these incidents were accidental and nonetheless a fruitless effort to get back at me for killing you. Let me break it down from start to finish since you have forgotten. 1st instance: RDM Bait- you approached me with your gun out (on safety) in little Italy and started to follow me. I told you countless times to stop following or put your gun away. I responded by pulling my gun out on safety and kept warning you but you kept following. I took my gun off safety and warned you one more time and then you started opening fire on me and lost the gunfight. This was a sad attempt at blatant RDM bait and I didn’t report you for this instance because losing a gun fight and getting banned for it kinda blows for you. 2nd Instance: NLR - Not even 3 minutes after I killed you, you approached me at the car dealership wanting to run it back with an uzi obviously very upset you couldn’t kill me. 3rd instance: VDM- After the situation at the car dealership you found my car parked in little Italy and slammed into it unprovoked which effectively ran over my friend and missed me. You not only missed me with a gun but also an entire car! Stevie wonder would’ve had an easier time hit me! In which you hopped out of the car said no sorry or anything and in which I responded by. i don’t know who you are or what your motives were for these actions but your extensive PO list shows blatant disregard for the rules. As a staff member myself I see this ban being justified aswell. Hope this provides clarity to the situation.

I was banned roughly 20 days ago, And I have thought a lot about it. I'm extremely sorry for MRDM. I logged onto the server and instantly shot the first 2 people I saw and left. I understand i've had previous POs, If you unban it won't happen again, I have been hanging around the wrong crowd recently and they somewhat influenced me to do the MRDM because they were upset they themselves got banned. I was also extremely upset at the time because of IRL issues. and foolishly I took it out on people trying to roleplay on the server. I understand that what I did was stupid, immature and I deserve punishment. I hope the admins recognise that I do have remorse for my actions they shall not repeat again. I'm not quite sure where he pulled a gun on you, as it's not provided in the 2 minute long clip, which seems to me like the full confrontation. You've been around long enough, and had enough RDM related punishments to where you should know better by now. The one week is honestly a short ban length compared to what I would have given you. Your story of putting attachments on is about as believable as a dog eating a students homework, especially considering "I was putting attachments on and THEN shot him.", it seems to me you're admitting you did it on purpose, especially considering you "popped 1 shot and he was down." Hello, banning admin here, as you can see in this clip Garry's Mod - Clipped with Medal.tv the one provided to me by the person you RDM'd he never once pulled a gun on you therefore completely disproving your entire argument. You also lied repeatedly within the sit saying "I was putting attachments on my gun and accidentally clicked and shot him" yet if you pay attention right before he dies you can see you aiming down your sights directly at him and then killing him. A one-week ban is light in my opinion given your book of previous offenses and bans and the countless second chances that have been provided to you.

+1 He has been gone for more than a year; it is reasonable that he could have changed. With 16 RDM Offences he played on average 36 hours without RDMing, meaning that he likely played for weeks straight on the server without any offences and is simply prone to killing those who piss him off in one way or another but are not permissible under the rules. It is not unreasonable to draw that with the amount of RDM compared to his high playtime, Pappy has intended to play seriously but has often made mistakes, with those he killed likely not being RDMed in the sense that the killings were in actuality random, but those he killed out of annoyance or grievance but were incompatible to the rules. Pappy should be allowed to come on Diverge oncemore.

At the time I was un aware of the Passive and active threat. Previous to me shooting him he pulled a gun and aimed it at me after yelled at him for his horrendous and complete inadequate driving. After yelling at him he kept driving at a slow pace down the road telling me to come over to the gas station. When I did so he pulled a gun and was aiming it at me thinking I was scared for a fake Italian white guy that has no knowledge about how to act Italian and look Italian. Soon after that I hopped in his "tough guy" bronco and took it for a spin (went to end of street and turned around. After that I pulled his car back up to a closer location which at the time was across the street at the gun shop near townhouses were he was talking shit to my friends and threatening them as what I was hearing as he walked away I popped 1 shot and he was down. After he came back from being shot we were just chilling there and he was saying how its RDM and staff will handle them which he did not know I had did it. Once he was done talking about RDM this and RDM that then I asked him why do you think it was RDM and were did it happen, shortly after I had told him that I was the one and my reason. He told me how he was not a treat and my buddies said it was not but some of them also said that considering he was not an active threat therefore its considered RDM. After finding that out I did make a offer to re comp him but he ignored me and continued his speech and his bickering with my homies about random shit. After all this I was sent a clip of Passive and active threat that looked like it was filmed at the barge were I watched it and now I understand why it was considered RDM. Although IRL if someone pulled a gun on you and aimed it at you and a minute later you shot them you'd probably still have a valid reason to shoot them. If you could read over this and respect my mistake and appeal this ban I will keep a clean RDM record with no more POs. First off I want to state that I performed no extrinsic actions that broke server rules to result in myself being permanently banned from the server. I requested and was granted a permanent ban because I had grown sad and tired with circumstances that prevented me from finding any reasonable enjoyment with the server. The fact that I have a permanent ban does not mean that I was a minge or that I was unable to make an actual contribution to roleplay and thus to the community as a whole. On the contrary I'd argue that I at least contributed directly to the effects of roleplay on the server. I won't go into detail about these roleplay contributions, but I will summarize that most of these contributions were in the area of politics and law. When I first entered the server as a fresh white shirt I had no intention to pursue the political or legal roleplay that existed at the time. I did what all other white shirts did when entering the city for the first time, I farmed weed and later joined a faction. At first being in a faction was fun on some days, but also boring on others because of the grinding nature in money making that was associated with the criminal life. This type of incessant work made me realize that this type of roleplay wasn't for me so I decided to go into city politics. The roleplay was fun and rewarding since it had the nature of solving one problem after another to achieve victory. This factor along with later acquired knowledge from connections about diverge's full fledged legal system led me to take the BAR and proceed into legal roleplay. All of this background is for me to show that I fully maintained with the legal side of diverge roleplay instead of the mostly illegal side. However, I was a person who made few friends and many enemies as a result of the nature of my roleplay in the legal side. Soon enough I was pretty much a persona non grata partly because of the result of poor decisions on my part, but also partly because I never knew when to quit. I never knew when to bury the hatchet and move on to the next page within the game because I had to much pride in myself to do so. Not all of my stubbornness was based on pride, some of it was based on a legitimate concern for rectifying injustices which unfortunately resulted in the hatchet being visible for all in the community to see. However, overtime this hatchet left me little to no enjoyment in the game mode that I found a certain type of creative happiness in. This lack of enjoyment turned into sadness and anxiety which made me decide to quit diverge for good and to see if I can find a way to humble myself again and return in the future. I believe that time, especially during Christmas time, has come and I would like to demonstrate my humility by stating the following conditions that I would place on myself if unbanned: 1. I will attempt to branch out more to other aspects of roleplay other than just the legal or political side. 2. I will attempt to give back to the community by providing my legal knowledge and experience that I have obtained in an educative and formative role through informal means. 3. I will not enter the city for the first 90 days if my permanent ban is removed so that I may dedicate that time to burying the hatchet amongst the community members.
