  1. Name of Faction: Clown College Crime Family or the CCCF or the CCCF or the Clown Family whatever is acceptable. Number of Members (Minimum of 5): 12+ (and not no bullshit of ‘oh they might join, this is 12 actual people willing to dedicate time to this faction) Type Of Faction (Family, Triad, Street Gang, etc): Family/Street Gang Ethnic Background (ex: Italian, Greek, African American, Irish, etc): American Name of Character running the faction: Chuckles 'Knuckles’ McGuff Your Discord # (ex: gamer#4210): anzati1 Your SteamID: STEAM_0:0:150242301 Your Server playtime: 2mo 1w 5d 6h 26m Do you acknowledge and agree to all faction rules as detailed on the server rules page? (Yes/No): Do you acknowledge that your faction discord will be owned by us? (Yes/No): Provide an example of the unique Roleplay your faction will bring to the server/what type of roleplay we can expect from your faction (Images/Videos Preferred): In all seriousness, you’d see some clowning around. Some hard-ass motherfuckers who wanna be involved in crime. The second any one of us starts breaking server rules, they obviously won’t only be punished by staff (if they get reported, etc…) but they’ll be taken out of the faction. We’re here to have a fun time, and a good one at that, but not here to disrupt anyone else’s roleplay experiences or general feeling of the server. Now for our individual roleplay, it’ll mostly be making a name for ourselves, making sure everyone knows who we are, and not always in a threatening way. We can make alliances, but most likely won’t. Obviously, no faction will take a literal clown family under their wing, or in their organizations. So that's why we need to generate our own roleplay, without disturbing anyone else's or forcing them into it. Now for general roleplay, it’d be running businesses like fast food restaurants, games, entertainment, parties, and whatnot. All things related to clowns. Like we have been for the past few days. Provide examples or event ideas to promote activity within your faction and keep people interested. (Reference your unique RP from the question above): We’re not gonna be doing that lame ass ‘oh paintball, oh we’ll do dinners’ nah bruh FULL ON ROLEPLAY EVENTS!!! Circus Casino Night - Hosting a “Gambling Night”, all addicts around town will gather and play a multitude of gambling games from blackjack, roulette, rolling games, dice, death rolls, and maybe even some poker. Ringmaster’s Riddle Hunt - For either PD or any and all factions, we’ll be leaving notes or documents around the map that will lead to either some sort of prize or a kidnapped person. It will be a consensual event where for example “Faction A wants to play Ringmaster’s Riddle Hunt”, they offer someone to be kidnapped for the time being and need to follow the clues to retrieve said person. Dealing With Business - Possibly taking on hits or being hired as a protection service. It's not the best idea to hire a bunch of literal clowns to be a protection service, but everyone will know that we get shit done. Along with that, handling business can be more than just hitman services, it could be a generic term for “Clowns For Hire”, because they’re such lowlives, they’d be willing to do just about anything. Wanna have someone followed just to confirm that they’re turning schizophrenic? Sure, we’ll follow them around popping in and out of view just to make them feel uneasy. Clown Burger - We’ll have a burger shop which will be fast food, hiring people to work the grills and cash register, etc… It’ll lead to some amazing roleplay that isn’t just a regular Italian made restaurant with pizzas and whatnot, it'll be one of the first fast food spots (other than food trucks). Its constant laugh and giggles when you’re being served by an idiot who went to college just to be a clown right? Organization Backstory (Min. of 250+ Words & any images): In the 1980s, Southside was just a small town and community. There were thriving universities and colleges. But at the time, it was all about crime. Among the citizens of Southside, there were a few oddballs who started a performance group to get away from the standard college education. They’d put on shows at the campus to the other students, the main coordinator was a fella called McGuff. Even in college, they would be surrounded by crime, it paid well so it was worth it, especially going through college everything was so expensive for these clowns just trying to live. After hearing from a friend about how much exactly crime had paid out, McGuff proposed the idea to the group of clowns after a long night of doing gigs. They were sick of birthday parties, and making a fool of themselves on stage, on purpose. McGuff heard from his friend there was a job going down in the next 2 days, it would be a massive drug deal and they needed lots of hands on deck to move the product. The clowns gathered the night before, and couldn’t figure out what to wear to mask their identities if anything went wrong during the deal, so they did what they do best, dressed up as clowns. They headed off to the deal in as few cars as possible so they wouldn’t expect anything to be off. Once they got to the deal, there were some questions thrown around, McGuff’s friend’s name was thrown around along the lines of “When he said there were some new hired, didn’t know they’d be literal clowns! EH!” The clowns took this as disrespect and thought it was the best opportunity to take their name to the streets. Sally was so chaotic and easily outraged, that when she pulled out her Colt M45, pointed it to her own head while screaming, and then out of nowhere, shot 2 of the dealers. That's when they returned fire, Sally was then killed right then and there on the spot by a man in White and Black. The rest of the clowns later that night, went home victorious but mourning their friend, Sally. They had so much product they didn’t know what to do with it, so they started asking around for connections. It was so dead for so long that they all went back to their original plan, acting as clowns for entertainment. During one of their birthday party gigs, they heard people talking about how they heard a shooting at a warehouse, and apparently, some clowns were involved, the problem with crime, is that word spreads fast. For the clowns, this wasn’t a problem but instead was an opportunity, after the gig, the clowns asked the old men who were talking about them how they heard. After hours of conversation, the old men eventually gave up that they were also in a crime family. Later that week, the clowns set up the deal with the old men, they met up with their sons of the family and traded all of the product, that's when they were introduced into the underground of Southside, and after that, it was all up and up. The clowns organized more, continued gigs, and recruited more members, it was an amazing front for laundering money. Some other screenshots/videos I thought would contribute to this application. https://streamable.com/xriybg PS. This genuinely isn’t just a minge faction, we wanna rp and we wanna rp differently. I’ve got some followers who have been helping me do this roleplay as clowns all around the map, not just causing chaos but entertaining and contributing to the fun of the server.

  2. I mean if Canadian denies this like he denied the #007 faction app, it’s just clear that they DO NOT care about this server or the players on it.

  5. I agree, but I feel like because of our constant dedicated few members we'd be able to stay alive without getting removed for inactivity, and because we have that constant flow of legitimate clowns I feel like we can play with our numbers a little more. We'd be able to get the "Chaos Clowns" out of the faction. There will still be faction rules just like any others faction. I already stated in the application that this isn't just going to be a minge faction and that is no where near my intention, if they're breaking the IC rules they'll just end up getting pked and thats that. Now for throwaway characters, lets be honest who really cares if they get pked? Yes it might increase their mingery but then they'll just end up getting punished by staff. I want Clown Roleplay not clown retardation.

  8. A 2:43pm Eastern Standard Time today Anzati's body was pulled from the river. It seems he showed up to a park late at night unarmed and was killed in a cartel style execution. His family will never know justice... Thank you for applying for a faction. Unfortunately your application has been denied. We do not believe your faction or application is sufficient enough to be accepted. You may re-apply with the above issues rectified, when re-applying keep in mind that a well written application with good grammar, and a detailed backstory will help in getting accepted.

  9. Guy, you literally went into the evidence room, stole a metric ton of drugs, and went back in on another character, stole more, transferred it to your buddy and then deleted the character. Did you think we... wouldn't notice a large amount of drugs missing? Like it'd slide under the radar?

  12. +1 at first this just seemed like a goofy application, but after experiencing Roleplay with them, if they were to be accepted I think it could go great

  13. +1 Do not let Freakybob near public spaces. If this faction can deliver even half of the fun roleplay they gave me last night, I feel like they could really make something of themselves. They have the backstory, the events planned and seem to have a game plan for some unique roleplay in the mafia server. Does it scream 'mafia'? No, maybe it doesn't, but maybe we could use some change nowadays! They have my vote for favorite clown faction.

  21. We’re not looking to be here short term, yes events might get bland at times but that’s why we’ll come up with new ones or rotate things out. It’s also not just for “many retards on the server” if you actually read the application, we’re looking at seriousness in clown rp. Just because they’re clowns doesn’t mean they’re literal clown mentality (retards). Look at the streamable video you’ll see what I mean more in depth, and that video is just the tip of the iceberg. I wasn’t able to record tonight’s whole session but there was a lot more going on than just a burger joint.

  28. You've completely missed what I said. If you knew for a fact he was in the room, of course, he is to the right. All I am saying is that from the clip, you can't see how you guys knew he was specifically in that room. "So unless he made any noise beforehand.. seems like glitching through the walls." -Me

  35. You really are trying to skate around the fact you didn't know me is just funny now. You don't remember the night you did everything and how to even got to that point? YOU personally asked me IC to get the keys fixed in room H (When there are plenty of other associates in the city/out front of Imperial and could've actually put in a ticket for it) and as soon I LOOC in the room (Which was in logs/screenshot lmao before it happened) I'm gonna switch to my staff char to get it resolved in the room you and your buddies (The ones who were unauthorized to even have whitelists to 14k) decided to mug me there. I'm not even going to argue anymore, letting UA make their decision on this mess.

  36. You were in the same townhouse that we killed the rest of your friends out of the first time we were commissioned to kill you. I had 6-7 people scouring the map to locate you and the garage was unlocked. You also were swapping on and off characters to avoid detection after adverting and had a drug processor that had just finished processing cocaine ( some of which I personally stole) in the main room , indicating the house was inhabited while owning a locked door with your name on it. No shit youre inside that room.

  41. The easiest way to not get caught, or mugged with anything that’s illegal and profitable such as coke, weed, LSD, Gun running, etc, is to really keep moving, and avoid the police when you have something illegal, and mind your P’s and Q’s when doing something a little more obvious that may get you in trouble (don’t open carry a TOZ without a class 2, because you will get questioned by police. I had 2 cops in a matter of 50 feet of walking question me the other day, and decided to put the gun away as it was drawing too much attention) be mindful of who you do any illegal activities with. They could easily be a detective or a rat, which is why I don’t deal with people I don’t particularly know, let alone talk about it IC, OOC I’ll tell people I’m processing drugs in my designated room all I want, they can’t use it IC so it doesn’t matter. IC, my character is very reserved to most people, and is even sometimes argumentative about new people coming around who can’t be vouched for. It’s all about being smart, don’t stay in one area for too long, and know what you’re doing and the goal of what you’re doing. If you don’t have a goal and you’re just carrying illegal items, you’re bound to get caught eventually

  42. Sort of bad faith arguments but i'll defend the points regardless. 1. We do but the Majority of whiners bring issues we've already addressed; arguments we've dismantled hundreds of times, or just straight up bad ideas/suggestions with no thought or consideration to basic gameplay balance. 2. While the justice system is sometimes slow and can possibly be improved in the future, it still currently works fine, as I am writing this there are ~10 open DA tickets and 8 open criminal cases (overlap). This actually isn't that high as it used to be as a majority of charges will result in plea deals (as is what happens in real life) and you have to consider that a lot of cases remain open because the defendants effectively refuse to co-operate or take the legal RP seriously, they view it as a dark rp type arrest where they get put in jail for 2 minutes and are then instantly released. This is a different gamemode with a more functional real world justice system. Don't want to waste the time? Don't do the crime, or just accept the plea. Majority of them are under 45 years anyways. Get a lawyer, you're probably an idiot on your own. That being said, as @MxR mentioned, getting caught is sort of a skill issue and if they have enough evidence to charge you with 45+ years then it's really a 'don't get caught' problem. People get pk'ed this is the reality of Mafia RP and your first PK is likely always something stupid or avoidable, none of that FiveM 'consensual PK' bullshit. Actions have consequences. 3. There's already a good amount of legal ways to make money, such as; taxi services, delivery trucks, working jobs for factions and their events, collecting oil, collecting scrap from trash cans and any other LEGAL hustle you can invent in your brain (it is an RP server after all, you have to be inventive). Adding more profitable venues to legal RP does nothing to enhance the RP of a MAFIA RP server, as mentioned by @Demigod the game will always reward high risk actions like gun running or drug selling since you can be arrested for it. It simply sounds like all you have done is wait on shipments instead of using the tools we've given you to produce your own RP. It's not only about money ! 4. This is something we've already considered as a concept, mind you slightly altered, and are looking into it. Time will tell. As for the last paragraph you wrote: I consider this to be a bad faith argument. Saying only the old heads are sticking around is just wrong. The nature of a game server is that people filter in and out and usually you mark a 10 to 20% retention rate when popular. New players that enjoy the game stick around, like yourself, you joined for the first time in early May and more than 3 weeks later you're still around. Diverge has been open since December of 2020, that is more than three years of straight operation. Players will play for a few months, disappear for a year, then come back again. This 'glory' has lasted that long and will continue to last as long as we put the effort and time into it. Basically, your paragraph implies that us not immediately accepting your suggestions as pure truth of reality would lead to the server dying, which obviously isn't the case.

  43. Even double clicking an item to automatically transfer it to a container (crate, other person's inventory (when mugging), ATM, car trunk, etc) would be way better

  44. -1 (idk you really, I’ve never met you before personally so I’m judging you just based off the application, you having staff recommendations is a good sign though as well) you have two priors for metagaming. Not 1, but 2. This to me seems as a massive red flag, as well as having 2 priors for RDM as well, that’s not a great mixture looking at it. Also feels like not too much effort was put into the answers for a few of the questions. oh also you’re opening statement badmouthing staffs ticket numbers is a red flag for me. There’s better ways to word things like that. Also certain tickets like RDM and Metagaming tickets take considerably longer than a whitelist or PK ticket, there’s several factions into why tickets take long sometimes, hence why one of my reasons to apply was to try and mitigate that problem, giving more players another staff member to take their ticket being online all the time also IMO isn’t a separating quality to consider someone, it just shows you have a lot of time on your hands, but that’s about it.

  45. @morty_sigma don’t let this bring you down cause again I’ve never met you in game or over a discord call, and if the other experienced staff members are vouching for you I’ll take their word, this response is PURELY from just reading the application. If they say you’re a good guy and would make a good fit then I’ll trust them.
