I have previous experience on other servers that requires ALOT of my time which i happily gave and id like to come here and do the same for Diverge. I have staffing and Nutscript experience i learned from other servers that i believe i could continue to use to help this server. The only days I'm not on are Sundays and Mondays so most of the week i can be on every night and can staff for at least 6 hours on days i work, all day if i don't work. Finn Farva is still kind of new still new to the PD but i plan on doing stuff with him. But with most the people i associate with in larp id say are pretty chill and like me. i haven't had any issues with anyone as far as i know ooc wise and i do my best to keep that from happening cause at the end of the day we ae all here to have fun and play a game and not to be involved in stupid drama. I'd say i'm kind of known maybe but what is known of me is hopefully all positive. What is your favorite moment on Diverge so far?: I would say just the fun interactions with random people every time I get on regardless of my Character at the time. People always have something going on from food trucks to hobo's, people actually make an effort to try and do some RP in the server and its just never a dull moment when people are doing that. How do you handle this?: If im not involved in the situation and i notice a ticket was made for it then i would switch chars out of sight to my staff char and i would handle it like normal. If i was involved i would record it and ask in staff chat for someone to take the sit and give them the evidence and allow them to handle the sit. You have seen a fellow staff member of higher or equal rank than you abusing fairly often, but never doing anything too noticeable. What do you do?: I would simply record any evidence i can get my hands on and then send it all up the COC to UA. After that id let them handle it and do anything they ask me to do regarding the situation. A member of your faction / friend of yours has a ticket made against them accusing them of RDM’ing, and minging. You know that this person rarely does this when you play with him. How do you proceed knowing this? Does it constitute possible bias?: There could be bias with this in a way and I've actually been in this situation before but like i said above friend or not i don't give special treatment. ( I've banned friends for a day or two RDM before cause they been warned prior by other staff via notes) I am really nice to people in sits if their respectful and my friends know this about me but they also know I'm fair and if they act up i will use my best judgment on them depending on the severity of the issue.

Many people including myself have experienced long wait times when there are clearly staff on to take tickets. There were many times I was RDM'd and I would make tickets having to wait 30+ minutes or even at times not getting my ticket answered. I personally don't want people having that sort of experience anymore. So my motivation is to change the speed tickets are taken or at least at the rate they are taken. Why should you be considered over other candidates?: * I believe that I should be considered over other candidates because of the fact I'm on so much. Sure there are many people who have lots of game time but I'm actually interacting with people when online. I like to store my proccesed stuff in ATM's so I can just do one big sell at once but the whole drag and move thing getting a lil annoying so I think a good way to save time and conveniance is to be able to sellect a group of single unit items and then move that all at once

Actually, I'll bite on this one. I see what you're getting at, I think. We do not have drug shipments that function similarly to oil. With oil, there is no processing, it takes more inventory space, it makes less money but it's a legal and carefree way to accumulate wealth. That is the tradeoff - it's cumbersome, it's less profitable but you aren't going to get in trouble. Drugs do not have an alternative like this to their normal flow. You get a shipment of one brick and you can either trade it for one you can properly process or you sell it off to a buyer. It's lucrative, takes half the space but if you get caught with it, you're fucked. So what's the medium answer to this? It's a racket you can't process. Less time taken overall, maybe it takes more space than traditional drugs. Maybe each shipment has 6 forged checks inside of it (6 spaces, a brick and a half, happy medium between oil and drugs). No processing required and there's only need for one NPC: the Black Market dealer on the Barge. It makes it cumbersome. You can't sell the checks outright, you'll need to trade with someone or buy theirs in order to sell it to the NPC on the Barge. The balancing act is the labor cost vs the profit. Oil: Low time spent (no processing and can sell directly to an oil faction) Low money made Low risk factor (legal, no one can arrest you) High cumbersome rating (8 / 40 spaces) Drug Rackets: High time spent (10 minutes to grab the shipment, have to trade and possibly process, so 5 more minutes all on one brick at even value) High money made High risk factor (getting caught = jail) Low cumbersome rating (4 / 40 spaces) Forgery Rackets: Medium time spent (10 minutes to grab the shipment, have to trade for player interaction, but no processing) Medium money made High risk factor (getting caught = jail) Medium cumbersome rating (6 / 40 spaces) A flurry of rackets that were dedicated to not being processed and saving you time on that front but also being not as profitable makes sense to me if you put it that way. If this was actually something devs would consider, I'd go further into the balancing act but I'm not about to crunch hard numbers on a hypothetical.

I’m really not trying to be an asshole, actually attempting to assist; but in my humble opinion this entire group needs to get together and figure out what’s the plan. It’s either you guys are an illegal faction dealing with a drug racket; in which you will be targeted by the law and other criminal factions (I promise you even the allied factions you’ll district with [Doesn’t matter which side] will either not give a shit about you because they have their own problems or you’re just “friendly competition”- and theres still a chance something could go down and you can get principato’d. No alliance is permanent.) OR It’s either you guys are starting a legal faction, and you’ll be dealing with Oil sales. Your primary stream of revenue will be your legal factions activity, because if no one is online advertising, no one is there to buy oil, no money is to be made. Also, when picking a legal faction, please understand your choice. You won’t be targeted by illegal factions and the law, but, You’re basically saying “me and my members don’t want to do anything remotely criminal, intentionally”. Why? Because you can just easily make a criminal char and commit any crime you want, while also attempting the appearance of staying legal and able to create/operate any legal company you’d like. +1 I think the Ruain Collective has so much potential as a faction. I have witnessed how much work and effort has gone into this faction and how much they connect with everyone on the server, they are passionate, fun, and always put roleplay first. The faction as a plan is extremely well thought out, Prodigy answers questions about the proposed faction with diligence and accuracy. Their events are fun and energetic and have brought so many different people together and I think that is crucial to a successful faction.

Yes, the chances are that this will be denied are higher then the age of my great grandparents but hear me out. The NYC Map (tap to take a look) is the same map currently used but there is a city addition with many shops buildings and much more places to role play. So if you would like to step up the role play even more then it already is then try this map. I am willing to donate money if there is a price to add stuff to the server like more space and I would hope that others that wanted to donate could as well. Over time role play may get boring being in the same area, and if you add this it will not only enhance the role play but it will also bring more players and you know what that means more players, more money, more fun. I think that if you add this the server will be full and there will be many more people joining and having an good experience. So if your looking for something to revamp definitely look at this. I did overhear a year or so ago about how staff tried this but it did not work properly but hopefully it can be fixed and money can be raised for the server to get more space so staff can get this map in and uploaded. It's my strong belief that we should on the new map change take the normal distance to the barge, and essentially just double it. What would that look like, you ask? We've been running events for more than two months now with at least one event per week, running for multiple people and working with multiple businesses. For starters, you asked some pretty dumb questions in staff general, that show that A. You are out of the loop on things, I mean if you dont have the time to read the very short map FAQ announcement then your cooked if you become a faction leader. ( when is map coming??? ) B. You’re not able to answer basic questions without consulting for help. ( can I be German and asking what an organization backstory means, Like come on man ) C. That you think you get special privileges because your staff ( asking if you can get a building assuming you’re going to get accepted ). Furthermore your essay has the reading and writing level of a 4-6th grader and you have done the bare minimum of 255 words for your backstory without even making a document. You have 1 week on the server, not enough time to run a faction at all, I’m fairly confident you have no high command experience, but feel free to share if I’m wrong. Over all, you seem to not be super knowledgeable on the servers current state as well as just general things. You lack experience and time, have put in low effort to this application, and you are a furry. Have a good rest of your weekend, I look forward to your response!

This has been updated with a new count on interested people in the Ruain Collection + our catalog of events we've run since we've gotten started. We have been running a vast array of events since our inception on the server for two months straight and have shown no signs of stopping. To your first point, I didn't really make any sort of correlation between the Cassanos and them being the primary ones to give this application -1. I didn't really think there'd be an issue between the Cassanos and a faction that hasn't even been born yet. That is a shame, I hope to break bread with the Cassanos as I can see they've put a lot of effort into their faction and I want to recognize that and roleplay with them! To the second of the highest position I've held, I think that's a totally meaningless notion. I'm of the firm belief that it's not the position but the quality of the qualifications around it. I don't quite know how to break this down without being demeaning, but I'm of the opinion that in some of the families, getting to Made Man is an extremely easy task. You get on, you idle by the NPC while putting timers on to get bricks. You get the bricks, you contribute to a trade, you process it, you sell it. Pay twice your kick ups and you get a reputation for being a 'top earner' and suddenly people like you because you're a profitable asset. Bam, you're in. I firmly believe it takes a strong social aspect to be able to run a faction. You can't just be good at making money, you also need to be able to talk to people, shake hands and be a generally likable individual on the surface. You speak of connections and experience, but I have both and they don't stop at me. My IRL experience of management, delegation and running a team will serve me well in this position. I have been working closely alongside a faction that's been in the city for over a year and we have plans on having a deep connection after the approval of this faction. My second-in-command was a former second-in-command of a very prominent faction on the server as I've mentioned before. On top of all of this, my own Discord dedicated to the events I run has the Dons of two different factions in the game not only in there but actively rooting for the events. I understand if you want to -1 the application over formerly being a cult. I also understand if you want to -1 the application because you're a Cassano advocate (speaking generally to everyone, though I won't point fingers to Cassanos, just using your language here). However, it's extremely disingenuous to state I lack connections and experience when I have showed throughout the past month of events we've been running publicly for everyone in Southside that I have shown examples of both without even outright stating it up until this point. I have considered it. If only because I do see there's a lot of negative stigma with the cult aspect of things on this server and I would hate for us to get bogged down by it. Perhaps it'd be better if we did something along the lines of being a cult in terms of our traditions within the crime family, but in the middle layer, be a crime family? I can talk to my friend Lemon and see what we're willing to change up in that regard. We really just want to indulge in the specific roleplay of dedicated, religious people who dedicate to a cult-ish degree. It isn't as if I'd say 'I want to be a cult or I don't want a faction at all'. Would it be acceptable to say we could retain those traditions and roleplay purely within the faction but function as a crime family for the sake of dealing with other families? The last thing I would want to do is create friction with others over what people of the past have done. I like my cult idea, but more and more it seems like people are bringing up stuff from the past and I don't want it to cloud what would otherwise be a really fun faction.

But Emma thought differently; she thought they were an opportunity for the poor to help them get things that are too expensive for them. So Emma dreamed of making a pawn shop of her own one day and by the time she hit the age of 18 she set out to do so. Meeting after meeting with banks and other business people she finally got that at the age of 20 years of age she had everything she needed to start up a pawn shop and she named it The Mountain or in German Der Berg. Emma was happy she was proud of herself but she may have all the money and the building she needs for the pawn shop but not the employees she she contact friends, family and random people if they want a job it was hard but she found a couple of souls that was willing to take that job and help Emma get a working pawn shop. It was a hard journey but Emma managed to do it all from meetings to getting people to work here. That is how Emma J. Marie made her dream to own a pawn shop a reality and she was proud of it.

hylix is gonna be such a better server guys! I can't wait! You made a char explicitly for mugging, got them into an 'allied faction' and did so deliberately to settle OOC beef and to cause discontent while preaching how much better Hylix was going to be.

I think the idea is good I think new minds would be great leading factions and I am sure you are ambitious as the next person when it comes to creating your own faction. There are only so many spots on the server for factions and sometimes takes months to half a year before you can get a spot for a faction. I just don't see much here to support that this will bring some things to the table. As well as the messages I have seen show that maybe you are not ready to lead a faction. A faction takes a lot of work and is honestly a HUGE undertaking. You need to know how the server works and have lots of experience in the game mod leading something. You are staff which is good but being staff and a faction leader are two whole different things. I think maybe if you join a faction and get some leadership experience then maybe the next time faction application come around you will have something to bring to the table. Its also not a bad idea to look at other applications and see what they have done. Your application and backstory are pretty lacking. It shows players and ultimately UA that you are not taking this seriously which I hope is not the case here but its all about representation. Unfortunately, this means I am going to give you a -1 for this application. This has very little to do with you as a person more of the application and your overall experience and knowledge.

YOU personally asked me IC to get the keys fixed in room H (When there are plenty of other associates in the city/out front of Imperial and could've actually put in a ticket for it) and as soon I LOOC in the room (Which was in logs/screenshot lmao before it happened) I'm gonna switch to my staff char to get it resolved in the room you and your buddies (The ones who were unauthorized to even have whitelists to 14k) decided to mug me there. I'm not even going to argue anymore, letting UA make their decision on this mess.
