This incidence happened yesterday, so what happened. And whenever there’s an in-game incidence happens I deafen in discord and start to use radio more or gesture language. Like for example as soon as I closed the door an we are in a red zone area I was quiet waiting for the main person to mug, so like there’s no need to talk in game when the thing is obvious so my clip you will hear my friend is talking and I’m quiet because I was checking if there’s any witnesses around us or no so we don’t fail mug and stuff like that. And then at the end I saw a blue vehicle thought it was a cop so I was panicking and saying there’s cops coming while I was deafend because you can see in the clip I didn’t stop or pause my clip to undeafen and tell my friends there’s cops, and bullets thought that I said cops are coming on discord. And then when I went on top of the roof to call for a pk on the people we mugged, I looked down there’s no cop was around us and that’s when I undeafend and asked for my friends for their clips for the pk so that I can call an admin for an pk. Bullets claimed this was meta game as we used info ooc but nothing was done ooc or metagamed. Why should you be unbanned? No metagaming happened here the mugging was all IC and no rules were broken. Any 3rd party Voice / VOIP program is considered OOC while in the server. In order for you to communicate with other players you must use in game chat or voice functions, we added radios for this exact reason. Coordinating anything IC in a third-party voice program is metagaming and will lead to a ban and/or a void of an RP situation. Nothing was coordinated OOC as the person who said the cops are coming run was joking, from the clip bullets has you can see that the mugging was done fully IC with no outside information given or used. I didn't state the point clearly enough and mixed in my opinion with it, so you might have missed the point I was trying to suggest. Which is just 'clarify the rules for coups", Giving a small cushion for random players who are in every other manner said to have no stake in a faction is more or less just my opinion and frankly doesn't undermine the original point of clarification simply for nothing other than moderation and being able to do shit properly in order to prevent flubs/fuck ups due to a fella doing smth wrong., it's also not me saying "lalalala no lying lalala hugbox coup bad mafia bad NO roleplay!!!" of course, it's the mafia, people lie, people do XYZ, i'm not gonna act like people haven't snaked before and will snake again. But atleast a guideline of things should be fine, Unless I'm missing some sort of ancient forum post then theres really no guidelines except those listed previous. If Wars get their own spot, Coups should to, in just as much detail. since wars and coups happen alot. afaik clarifying the rules for something that can permanently shift the server, cannot be that controversial. Maybe it's the opinions I hold.

Coups are a thing that have been happening quite often recently in Diverge. While I have never been PK'd during a coup, it seems atleast to me intensely unfair for players who have no stake, nor a side in a coup, to be PK'd before being even given a chance to pick a side. I suggest a few things for coups Elaboration on the rules. The forums are very unclear on the matter, Coup rules, atleast in my opinion, need clarity and their own section in conflict escalation or the PK guidelines, as there are many situations where during a coup a player might break a rule and invalidate a PK in the same way one might muck up a mugging by doing something wrong or get banned. Thus invalidating effort and nearly getting themself killed/banned for nothing. Things like "Reasonable doubt that a player is a couper/loyalist" should be introduced during coups, Making coup rules clearer, Not to initiate a coup. but what happens during a coup since the only real 'rules' of a coup are as follows: "● You must have more than half of your faction's high command support to overthrow your current leader. ● Once you've made your move against your don the rest of the faction may choose a side, this can plunge the faction into civil war ● The civil war ends when one side concedes or is wiped out. ● These PKs still need pre-approval [Make a SUPPORT ticket in the main discord] (THIS one is incredibly vague/not feasible, as you can't really stop and make a ticket when people are actively hunting you, or while you are actively hunting someone.)" (ADDITION) Rank Anyone below the rank of made is made exempt from being PK'd until they have publicly picked a side with staff or their leadership (since this is the first action people typically take during a coup.) or have stayed totally neutral (exempting them from PKing, or being PK'd by their family), They're Associates and as such don't have a stake in faction leadership (Same rules as leaving the family in PK rules. ) and it'd be unfair to an associate of a faction to be PK'd out of a faction due to something they had no say, nor control over. ● If they have left the gang/family without approval from the leader, while holding the position of made man+ (or appropriate equivalent), they may be subject to a PK. Entry level associates who are not made or deeply committed to the organization may leave without harm as their position is low and they know very little. (Security, waiters, doormen, drivers, etc) <You will be asked to provide evidence of rank> This does not apply if they have partaken in felony criminal actions, drug manufacturing/murder/robbery/etc that are directly related to your faction. (However these actions must be verified). Generally under most don's orders. (ADDITION) Racket Racket should be closed during Coups, simply due to the connections that ICLY supply you not wanting to be involved, similar to wars, Etc. Coups are potentially largescale and or have massive backings, even by other factions, they should be supplying you instead of your racket.
