Why was the room seized? It makes no sense that the room would be seized if you were only there for a search warrant. If his death caused some sort of seizure, that’s understandable, but if the intention was to raid the room and then seize it, why? The owner of the room was not there, nor was there any reason to assume there would be anything in the room. If the assumption was that Antonio was in the room, then that would be what the warrant is for. At the top of the warrant, it clearly states “Search Warrant.” If the point was not to search for him, then what was the reason for kicking in the door almost two days after his arrest? If there is another RP reason for this, then okay. But if this warrant is the only RP evidence used to justify raiding the room, it should not have been done in the first place. An individual who was seen entering another property days before being arrested and charged doesn’t just get raided because he was there. There would be no reason for a no-knock warrant. Officers would simply make themselves known, enter with a warrant, and inform the occupants that they are entering the room to search for evidence, not two senior officers running in and immediately blasting someone inside the room. I also find it interesting that only two senior officers from the same faction were involved and that there was no NYPD command present with them. What was the reason to raid the room in the first place if not to find Antonio? From what I’m told, there was no one above the rank of CPL when the raid happened. After the raid, a higher-ranking officer logged on. During raids like this, it would make sense to have more than two officers involved. Am I wrong? No one is arguing that there was a warrant for the room. They had the right to kick the door and not fully announce themselves. However, the “Search Warrant” was for the room regarding two men who had already been charged, placed in the pen faction, and bailed out before the raid even happened. So with everything cops can do now, which they couldn’t six months ago, your room can be raided and seized because a felon who was being charged was seen using the room? This seems far outside the realm of what should be allowed. Factions are getting flipped upside down by the NYPD, and this is just another example of cops having too much power in the city. If this warrant was truly meant to search and seize, the only evidence provided is him using the apartment. There is nothing about him being arrested with drugs from the apartment, or someone leaving the apartment with drugs. These raids are supposed to be based on solid evidence, so why are they being approved with very little evidence and no reasonable probable cause? Lmao, there is so much dumb logic in this warrant that I hope not all of them are like this, because it honestly makes the game unenjoyable if we have to do legal RP 24/7. “That may be so.” You don’t even know why or the reason you raided, which is just funny to me. You just went along for the ride. Attached is Antonio’s criminal complaint filed on March 5th when he was arrested, and as you can see in the warrant above, it was signed on the 8th. I don’t know the reason for the warrant being signed after the fact. Maybe the judge and the police didn’t know that Antonio had already been arrested, but I don’t understand why they can keep hitting a dead horse whenever they want. He was already arrested, charged, and put on bail before this warrant was even signed. So if this is some corrupt RP, that’s one thing, but there’s no way this is legitimate and “within the rules.” https://docs.google.com/document/d/1rKQzNRk8xZgPMHonaaiN382Pgt0aE5omZPneSl9Gwrc/edit?tab=t.0 I hope UA sees that there are many holes in this "Search Warrant" and makes a good decision. There was no reason he should expect a raid on this apartment, so he reacted as anyone would in this kind of situation. No excuse for shooting cops, but within RP, it makes no sense that they would even raid the room to begin with.

'Let me mug 4/5 player chars with no risk' -1

I've been thinking of this a lot. I don't think I agree with pks being main char only (I do agree with mugging being main char locked). But PKs are a part of progression in the server as it is required to become made in most factions. Having an alt shouldn't be locked to Associate level. My alternative suggestion would be to disallow hitmen chars/zips. If the only thing you do is log in to kill someone and do otherwise bare minimum RP. it should be treated in the same fashion as a mugging char, invalidate the rp, and result in punishment. A hitman char is riddled with metagame. Some nigga who you never met suddenly knows what you look like, where you are, and that you're on when barely anyone else is online? Alright. Doing pks for a faction should require you to be a core part of that factions roleplay, you should have time grinding shipments, running their business, hiring for them. If you are not extensively in the roleplay anymore you should not be allowed to "work" for the family. Done is the age of niggas who don't even play getting on and thinking they matter.

The wrong character was pk'ed according to the administrator.

-1 I’ve known this guy for about a year now and I’ve been around him in multiple factions like French Corsican and Bruno Scarfo and from everything I’ve seen I can easily say he’s one of the biggest meta players around you don’t even have to take my word for it just check his previous bans and the pattern is obvious honestly people like this shouldn’t even be thinking about making a staff application guys like him shouldn’t even be on the server in the first place I know exactly how many times he was sucking his family’s underboss balls just to stay in a good position he even got PK’d once and his brother had to pay the money for him I’m not trying to turn this into some big drama post but to keep it simple this guy and the people around him are generally incompetent and bring nothing of value to the server

Let a nigga be a zip in peace

Hello! As already explained to you, item transfer will always result in a ban and a PK. It is very easily tracked by us. Due to your admitted dishonesty on this appeal, it will be denied outright and you will face no reduction. Your ban appeal has been reviewed and denied. We have determined this ban to be reasonable and/or justified. Ensure you have read our Server Rules.

That's what happened in Bruno lol

i mean it gets to a point when each faction has 20+ zips. i agree it should be tied to playtime, avoids hits being done by ‘flown in shooters’ and assures there is an actual risk during your hit!

Do these guys just not know what a search warrant on a property is?

I think restricting Pks / Mugging to Char Playtime would be very nice. However I disagree with the idea of it being your main character only, as I and other people like to have characters in different factions and contribute to more than one roleplay at a time. If I'm promoting good RP I don't see why I'd have to break character when given orders to say 'This isn't my main character'(s) etc, even if it's in terms of ooc messaging, as it immediately kills the roleplay in that scenario I mean, imagine. There's an intern minging and you go to someone to give them orders, you roleplay it out. Follow all the rules and all the guidelines, only to learn that they infact, can't do anything for you. Because their main character is elsewhere, it immediately ruins all that roleplay leading up to the scenario However. Being forced to have 1 Week or 2 in Char Playtime would be nice in my opinion, to limit the ZIPS Who have no RP Backstory / RP in the server. If this were implemented of course.

That is quite literally a zip, Im not entirely sure how much you know about the mafia but zips that carry out hits DONT stay around to get caught, they more than likely never return. Their whole purpose is to be an unknown, they have no records or finger prints and that is for a reason, so the family they just killed for doesn’t A. Get tied to the murder or B. Get caught doing the murder. It’s fairly simple to comprehend, in my opinion there isn’t many ways you can spin a suggestion to make zips sound like a bad idea

Just want to add the room was seized! This is more proof that this was all allowed and within the rules! The warrant was for the location I also want to add! You also willingly opened fire on cops like it was said before.
-
Good point and thank you for the reference, however, in real life those individuals were still part of the organization or directly tied to it, and there were real consequences if something went wrong. On the server, however, what often happens is players use disposable characters whose only purpose is to log in, PK someone, and then disappear for weeks or switch back to another faction’s character.
-
That could very well be a good alternative to my original suggestion. What I’m suggesting would apply to everyone. Even if you are PK’ing an associate or an intern, the person doing it should still be taking some risk themselves. As an enforcer or senior member, it shouldn’t just be outsourced to a random player who mainly plays a different faction, logs on to kill someone, and then immediately switches back to their main character.

The warrant was signed, and you have probably seen it too, nice try tho! How's ur room btw

If you're gonna pk someone's (potential) main, you ought to have the same amount of skin in the game.
-
I feel like instead of it being Main locked it should be a minimum amount of char play time. Locking it to main would suck for those that don’t get to enjoy those mechanics or certain types of rp that they may not be able to do on their mains. Having a minimum amount of play time on a char would force individuals that try to abuse to actively put effort into their char and that faction.

-1 The real life Mafia had expendable men from all around the world depending on the race of the crime syndicate. Like for Italians they had zips from Italy come to America to murder somebody for them if they didn't want to risk their own men getting pinched or whacked, take The Tailors from the Sopranos for an example they were zips brought from Italy to be hitmen , when the war between the two families was happening they sent an Asian zip to go take care of a guy. It's just part of the roleplay and I honestly think taking away that aspect of the Italian Mafia it closes a lot of doors. I can see where you're coming from on this but it really doesn't make a difference in the long run because at the end of the day somebodies dying.
